ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day A warm breeze swept across the land. It rattled old tin cans across the concrete ground below. They would blow in the open wind and bounce around across the ground, until they bounced up against the legs of an old outdoor wicker chair. The chair itself was tattered and torn, with many burn marks cruising across its arms and large holes that had been carved within its seat. A dangerous thing now for one to try and seek refuge in, though a reminder of a calmer time when you could have sat down within the chair for a spell. It was a perfect analogy for the battle at hand and caused Zaiden to ponder on the similarities between the old wicker seat and the dueling kitties that fought so heavily against his snake. The venomous purple snake raised his head up high as he narrowed his sharp yellow gaze upon his two prey. Poisonous drool escaped his scaly lips and hissed as they splashed against some bits of discarded paper that littered the ground below. Hebi slithered, carefully advancing forward in his steady determination to snatch his prey up within his grasp. The paper hissed as the acidic venom burned through their delicate fibers and created small holes within their torn and tattered forms. The encircled him with their mocking tones full of laughter and their faces plastered with bright smiles that seemed to stretch from ear to ear. The mewed at the top of their lungs in a soft lullaby, causing Hebi to drift off long before he could snatch one of them up within his coils. The snake’s head lurched forward, and he staggered at bit on his path, unable to slither correctly. Within the next moment, Hebi’s entire form would come crashing to the ground. Zaiden balled his fist and raised it up in quiet frustration. “These cats are proving to be very difficult for me to get rid of.” Zaiden grumbled underneath his breath as he placed a hand to his forehead and shook his head. He furrowed his brows together heavily and paused for a second while the cats encircled Hebi and pounced at him to Tackle him and test him. Would it be better to use up his items now and bring the snake back to consciousness or should he simply switch his team around once more? Was Yamori still slumbering on, or would he be fully ready to take on the two opponents before him? It seemed like an impossible thing for Zaiden to tell on his own. Cursing underneath his breath, the beige teenager began to fumble around inside of his bag until he managed to caress the small red-and-white ball that contained the living tangle of vines. Zaiden would call Nobara out with the click of a button, before pulling out Hebi’s Pokeball and recalling the slumbering snake. Maybe he would fair a better shot against them at a later moment, if it was proven that Zaiden would need to heal him up and bring him back out to face them. Though, the lady had to hope and pray to Arceus that Nobara would be enough to handle these terrible felines. “Bind, Nobara.” Zaiden instructed and watched as the Tangela shot its long, vine-like appendages out after the larger Skitty. As the Skitty celebrated their award winning musical number they were caught off guard as Zaiden switched Pokemon. The bigger Skitty reacted with a Growl trying to weaken the grass type beast in front of it as the younger Skitty delivered a mean Tackle. Right afterwards Nobara scored a direct hit on the bigger Skitty with her Bind knocking it out. The younger Skitty cried frantically for help one last time as another larger Skitty joined the fray. It then tried to unleash another Sing attack but it's vocal chords froze up as a result of it's paralysis and all it could do was stand around like a fool helpless to do anything this round.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The small pink Pokemon kicked and flailed about on the ground as it tried to regain its composure. Fear illuminated its eyes as it stared at the living tangle of blue vines that stared menacingly back at it. The other Skitty had been taken out by this large beast of vines and it was left temporarily all alone. Though it fought sing its rhythmic melodies once more, the wild feline found that its throat had seized up and caused it to be unable to carry a single tune. Then, like a savior from the deep, another large pink feline leaped out from the deep depths of the alleyway and joined the fray. It knocked over discarded adult drink cans and kicked small bits of rubbish around in its path as it raced to join its friend. Nobara’s eyes gleamed with a strange smile as she stared at her opponents. The cats liked to travel in pairs and work with each other? What a strange sight to see! She tilted her head for a second and turned away from them with an almost boring yawn. Nothing about the fight was particularly interesting, though knocking out one of the cats had managed to keep her attention for a brief second. “What are you fighting for anyway?” Nobara asked the felines with a mild sense of curiosity. “Can it really be all that worthwhile? Maybe I want it for myself! Hmm…” She thought with a soft hum and lifted one of her vines to scratch at…her chin? Her vines that hung belong the black void of floating eyes underneath her vines? Who knew… The pink felines turned to each other and meowed. The paralyzed kitten explained to the newly replaced larger feline that it merely wanted something to eat and had hoped to dine on the snake that had long since left the battlefield. Then, they spun back around and pinned their ears down to the sides of their heads as they narrowed their gaze on Nobara. “My friend is hungry.” The larger Skitty explained, stretching her paws out and raking her nails across the hard concrete. It sounded like she was scratching the surface of a black chalkboard with her nails and caused the teenage trainer to quickly shove his hands over his ears. “We’ll eat you instead. That is, of course, if we can’t have your friend.” They smirked and nodded while flanking Nobara from the sides with a sinister glare. “Nobara. Stun Spore. Now.” Zaiden called out from his safe recluse and caused his Pokemon to spin around on the tops of her red shoe-like feet. As soon as she spotted him she considered his advice casually with a soft hum. Wouldn’t it make more sense to knock them both out while she still could? She didn’t understand this long game that Zaiden was trying to play with the cats? As she lifted her vines to hover dangerously in the air is dawned on her that Zaiden was trying to make it so that both felines found it too difficult to fight back against her. A smart tactic, indeed! The blue vine-like creature began to kick up thick clouds of paralyzing spores as she jumped about and shook her body. She would rush out towards the larger cat, encircling the feline carefully, and try her best to ensure that the Skitty breathed in her fumes. “Let’s see how well you’re able to eat me when you’re fighting to move!” The jolly Pokemon giggled at the top of her lungs. Then, she would leap back to check over her work before shooting her vines out to try to snap the pink Skitty up in them and hopefully bind the creature to the spot. Nobara moved as swiftly as she possibly could, trying to waste little time between her attacks. OOC: Nobara using Stun Spore on Level 9 Skitty & then using Bind on Level 9 Skitty. Nobara sent a cloud of paralyzing spores towards the bigger Skitty who was so intrigued by the attack it did not realize the danger until it breathed in too many of the spores and started to feel funny. Despite both Skitty now being paralyzed they were both able to strike as they combined a Growl and Tail Whip. In the second round Nobara was able to Bind the larger Skitty however despite being grabbed it was still able to use a decent Tackle in revenge. The smaller Skitty finally decided to resort to the legendary musical number to close out the round and lure Nobare to sleep.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day Despair buried its way into Zaiden’s emotions as he watched the wild cats circling around Nobara. Though she seemed to stand tall and brave in the midst of the fight, the teenager worried about his Pokemon. This had proven to be a fruitless endeavor. Did he pick the wrong alleyway to hunt for these elusive trash bag Pokemon or were they just well hidden among all of the rubble and debris around the area? He gripped the sides of his face with his hands and winced a bit at a trickle of pain shot through his nervous system from the roughness of his nails. The beige teenager immediately fumbled around in his bag while Nobara distracted the furry felines. Nobara curled up into a tight ball and slept peacefully. The blue Pokemon’s bright red feet kicked idly in her dreams, and she tossed and turn as different memories played inside of her mind. Within the scope of her dreams the cats had shrunken down to the size of pennies as she stood like a giant above them. Nobara unraveled two long blue vines and slammed them against the ground, causing large cracks to form and an earthquake to shake the land underneath her. In the waking world where she sleeping form remained curled up and dreaming, Nobara smiled and giggled in her sleep. Within the dream, she chased the cats around on the top of the land after the large canyons she had caused made them fall into one of the cracks in the ground. “You won’t escape me for long, my precious kitties!” Nobara laughed, slamming her vines repeatedly and causing the tops of the ‘canyons’ to break off. Small, rocky shards would fall to the bottom where the pink felines lay trapped. They crashed around them dangerously, chasing the cats this way and that. Zaiden managed to find the potion he was seeking after fumbling around in his bag for quite some time. His rich brown eyes widened as he pulled out Hebi’s Pokeball and recalled the snake with the click of a button. The large purple snake curled up and rattled the end of its tail as he hissed and sized up his trainer. Instincts drove him to want to strike, but another memory held Hebi at bay. He recalled how Zaiden had used some strange medicine to heal him and make him right as rain once more. Hebi waited to see what this lad wanted while flicking his forked tongue out of his mouth to taste the scents on the air. The cats were still close! Though he could feel the worst of their damage kicking in, Hebi desperately wanted to seize them both tightly in his coils and devour them. Zaiden pulled out another purple spray bottle and began to spray Hebi down with the cooling liquids. The snake relaxed, allowing his coils to loosen as he lowered his head back on the ground. The refreshing medicine felt good on the snake’s scars and helped to ease the pain that coursed through his veins. Though it was hard to see on the reptilian Pokemon’s face, Hebi smiled with pleasure at how well his trainer was taking care of him. “Heeallleed meeee.” He hissed, then slithered over and crawled up onto Zaiden’s lap before snoozing away once more. It seemed as though dreariness had set deep into his bones and lulled him back into his dreamlike state. Zaiden sighed and gently stroked the top of Hebi’s scaly head. He marveled at how rough and smooth it felt and wandered to himself why he would have thought it to feel any different. “You’re needed again.” He mumbled more to himself than anyone else as he glanced nervously at the battle once more. As Zaiden healed Hebi the two Skitty prepared to unleash a double dose of Growl however as they went to open their mouths both their vocal chords were unable to function due to paralysis. As Zaiden swapped out his Pokemon however both Skitty managed to get luck and attempt an attack. The Bigger Skitty tired to Sing however right as the musical melody started a small gust of wind sent a newspaper right into it's mouth. The second Skitty was luckier however as it's Sing worked like a charm though as Hebi was already asleep it made no difference.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The young teenager’s rich brown eyes widened with terror and fear as the cats sung away to his snake once more. Even as Hebi had slithered out before them and curled up into a tight ball on the ground to slumber away, something about the moment felt so dangerous. Like treading on thin ice, Zaiden had to wonder if the dam was about to break and sweep them all away. He began fumbling around in his bag as he gulped, hoping to come across something that could spare him for the moment. The young lad’s rough fingers would gently stroke over two Full Heals and an Awakening, though he bit his lower lip as he tried to consider whether or not he should use the items. It seemed that no matter what he tried to do here, the snakes came back ten fold and ready to seek a vengeance. Zaiden sighed as he stood up and cupped his hands around his mouth. “Wake up Hebi!” Zaiden slapped his hands against his forehead and bit down on his lower lip. No matter hoe many times he shouted and tried to wake his snake up, it didn’t seem to work. The purple reptile stretched out in a crooked ‘S’ shape on the ground and lazily thumped the rattle at the end of his tail on the ground. A strange and eerie smile seemed to stretch across Hebi’s face as he slumbered on, hissing quietly just underneath his breath. Large pools of saliva would dribble between his lips every time the snake moved or yawned, though Hebi would easily settle right back in place. “No use.” Zaiden sighed, realizing the round was a wash out at least for now. The young lad knew that even if he wasn’t so sure helping his snake would win out in the game of attrition, he could do more in the moment to help the other combatants in the war they raged against the pink felines. Besides, he had done his best to check the area and hadn’t managed to find a single sign that the trash bag Pokemon was anywhere around the area. These wild cats could have very well chased it off even if the elusive Pokemon tried to settle there. Their dangerous claws and loud, yet soothing voices were more than enough to caution even the best of trainers not to underestimate them. Zaiden would pull out a small blue spray bottle with a small grey cap and set it on the ground beside himself. Hebi would have to work as a distraction for now so that Zaiden could ensure that his backup option would be raring and ready to go. Yamori appeared before Zaiden in the blink of an eye as he called the green gecko from his Pokeball. The strange lizard blinked for a second as though he were registering Zaiden cognitively, which caused the teenager to smile. Could it be true?! Was Yamori able to roust himself on his own with no need for Zaiden’s help?! Tentatively, the young trainer scooped up the small blue spray bottle and began to unzip his bag as he prepared to put it back up. Though, when Yamori instead lowered himself on the ground and curled up into a tight, slumbering ball, Zaiden sighed LOUDLY. Of course it wouldn’t be that easy! He would then begin to spray Yamori down generously with the Awakening to help roust his calm and collected lizard once more. Though, Zaiden couldn’t help but to steal glances at the battlefield to ensure that Hebi was still ok even as he slumbered on… OOC: Using Awakening on Yamori to remove the [Sleep] Status from him. While the poor sleeping ekans slumbers, the two skitty are able to shake themselves out of the paralysis and in doing so wags their tails enough to perform tail whip. The ekans now has even harder time making through this battle.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The two felines snickered. They stalked their prey with their bodies lowered to the ground and their haunches arched. Their long pink tails bounced back and forth while they kept their ears pinned against the sides of their heads. To the small felines, everything seemed to be falling perfectly into their well laid plans. One nodded towards its friend and the other feline meowed in agreement. Within seconds, they launched themselves into the air and ran over to their prey as they batted their whip-like appendages against their opponent. Hebi slumbered peacefully even as the kittens tapped him with their tails. Dandruff drifted up off the Skitty’s fur and slipped into the pink snake’s scaley nostrils. Hebi scrunched up his face and jerked his head up high as he fought the urge to sneeze. A loud, raucous snore slipped from his lips instead, though it was too short lived to mean anything. Hebi’s head slammed down on the ground afterwards and dreamed on. Within his dream, the wild felines were toppling over gallon cartons of milk and spilling it all over the ground. Hebi hissed loudly and struck out at the air, though he would keep coming up empty-fanged every time. Need kitties to stayyy stiiilll! He hissed silently in his brain, rolling about in his sleep. Zaiden breathed in deeply and exhaled slowly. He wanted to yank his snake out of the battle that felt like it was taking ages. How much more could Hebi realistically take? Though the lad studied his snake with his soft brown eyes, he couldn’t quite tell. Hebi looked no worse for wear given his situation. Zaiden thought something seemed sinister with the way the pink cats had whipped his snake gently with their tails, but he couldn’t quite figure out what the long term implications of this would be. “Hebi, please wake up!” The mousy-brown haired teenager called out while clapping his hands together loudly. “Please wake up and use Wrap!” Would Hebi be able to shake the sleep spell that these wily felines had him cast under? Or was he doomed to snooze his whole life away, thanks to this inevitable moment? The young lad winced in pain from biting his own lips in anticipation and clenched his hands into tight fists. The rules that governed Pokemon battles were crystal clear about the types of support that trainers could lend to their Pokemon. Although the teenager knew that he couldn’t stand up and march over to the Skitty to give them a solid whacking with his own hands, he pondered if thinking about the idea made him a bad person or not. Would his dad understand why Zaiden felt so frustrated with the current events, or would he scold him for his ill-mannered thoughts? Hmm…he’d probably scold him. While Hebi is in sleepy land, he subconsciously heard the command for wrap. His mind went to a stage with him sitting front and center and a microphone in front of his face. His thoughts are to show the skittys they aren't the only ones who can sing. He starts to wrap using the names of his fellow Kanto Pokemon members. The skitty turn and start laughing at him.

Back in reality, the skitty try to attack the sleeping ekans. The larger of the two succumbs to the paralysis once again as it crumbles to the ground. In frustration, the small skitty growls toward the ekans taking out its anger even if the ekans wasn't responsible for the collapse.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day Venomous eyes remained tethered together. A forked tongue slipped between a pair of rough scaled and flickered in the bright summer sung. The taste of feline lingered like a milky and creamy stew, teasing the slumbering serpent. It would writhe about, twisting its head to and fro. Loud hisses akin to snores lifted from Hebi’s lips and slipped into the air. If it were not for the sounds and the gently rising and falling of his long, serpentine body as he slumbered, it may have seemed as though he were just a discarded toy or piece of rope strung about on the littered alleyway floor. Zaiden fit his lips and turned towards his groggy gecko. The scaley green Pokemon stood up and rubbed his eyes as a loud yawn overcame him. Yamori blinked slowly and glanced around to see the aftermath of the battlefield. He paused thoughtfully and scratched the bottom of his chin as he watched the two locked in battle of attrition. Large yellow eyes blinked as the thin transparent film slipped over them, followed by the thick scaly lids that protected them, only to peel back away. “Why is he still battling?” Yamori demanded to know. He glanced up to Zaiden with deep concern and tilted his head as he gestured to the middle of the fight. “Is he fit enough to handle this match?” Did their trainer truly know what they were doing or were they just throwing caution to the wind? Yamori doubted Zaiden’s skills and shook his head firmly as he turned away. Zaiden pulled out a small Pokeball and recalled the slumbering snake. What was his Treecko trying to tell him before? Yamori seemed strong in his conviction and determined to speak, but Zaiden was not as well versed on the Pokemon’s words as Yamori would be on the human’s language. He furrowed his brows and watched as his small gecko jumped out in front of the cats before him. “What exactly are you cats trying to do?” Yamori asked his opponents with a thoughtful expression as he stood tall and firm in front of them. “You must understand why I can’t simply sit and idly allow you to hurt my teammates, right?” The Skitty circled him, struggling through the paralysis that seeped in their veins. Hebi try to fire a bright beam of green energy towards the cats to try and suck away their health. OOC: Switching for Yamori and uses Mega Drain on Level 9 Skitty if that's ok (because I know this round had a few switches. These Skitty are tough!) Words: 406 | Speech. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day As the last of its friends fell in a defeated heap on the ground, the original Skitty’s eyes widened in disbelief. “I wanted food.” It stuttered, stumbling over its own words. How could this wild grassy reptile manage to take its friend out so easily? Where were its allies in a time where the Skitty needed them the most? It threw its head back and yowled at the top of its lungs. Its words were long and tearful as it cried into the bright daylight and mourned the loss of its friends and the chance of it surviving this fight. The wild cat would then whip back around and curl its body in a crescent moon shape defensively as it whacked its tail against the ground. “But you keep getting in the way! I am hungry and need to eat!” It hissed, folding its ears against its head and stretching its claws to strike dramatically into the air. Yamori shook his head as he watched the emotions pouring out from the small feline. He could tell that it was greatly hurt by the loss of its friend. It must have been so afraid and so upset at the same time. Still, the bright green gecko couldn’t stand idly by and allow this pink cat to do whatever it pleased. “I understand the need to eat.” The large eyed lizard spoke slowly but deliberately. He carefully thought out his words, making sure that their meaning could still ring true to avoid any further misunderstanding between himself and the felines. “But I cannot allow you to eat my teammates. You would defend your friends just the same, correct? That is all I am doing, as well.” While Yamori spoke with the feline and prepared his next attack, Zaiden watched them carefully from his vantage point. The tides of the battle had shifted with Yamori taking Hebi’s place. The beige teenager still clung onto the small Pokeballs in his nimble hands. He stared down at the red-and-white device and tried to plan out his next course of action. Would it be better to finish the fight up with Yamori out on the field, or could he switch the snake in for the final battle? The fight had started originally between Nobara and this specific Skitty, but Nobara wouldn’t have been the best candidate in Zaiden’s mind. Hebi struggled so much against the cats that Zaiden doubted he could handle another battle with them. “Yamori use Mega Drain.” Zaiden’s rich brown eyes cast their glance up from Hebi’s Pokeball and back to his bright green Gecko thoughtfully. Yamori was a powerhouse on the field so Zaiden had to try and cause as much damage as he could while he still had Yamori out on the field. The leaf-tailed gecko spun around to stare up at his trainer curiously before nodding his head. Yamori would agree that Mega Drain seemed like the best move to use in this battle. It worked so well against the larger feline that the green reptile was sure he could easily finish this fight with only a round or two. He turned back to his opponent readily and focused on the Skitty as he prepared his attack. “I mean no ill will or malice in my attacks. I’m not here to judge your choices. I am only here to do my best in a battle and to protect my teammates whenever possible.” Yamori informed Skitty. Yamori placed his hands out in front of him in a battle stance with his palms facing Skitty and focused. A large beam of green energy would shoot from his palms at his opponent, where Yamori hoped he could make direct contact to drain part of Skitty’s health away. He had to hope that his attack would be successful so that he could hurry the battle up for his trainer. OOC: Yamori is using Mega Drain. Words: 649 | Speech. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day The bright green leaf gecko stared at his enemy through his bright yellow eyes. As a gentle breeze shifted through the dark alleyway, rattling the empty aluminum cans that were scattered across the ground, Yamori tried to understand what it was about these felines that made them so dangerous. They didn’t seem particularly strong or smart overall. He was sure that he could easily take it out with another well-placed move. Even as he fought against the wild feline, he noticed that it had a much smaller and weaker stature. Was Hebi just as weak, then? Making it nearly impossible for him to stand against opponents on his own in a battle? Yamori frowned. “You’re barely hanging on. Are you sure that you want to continue?” The gecko asked with a change of heart on taking out such an unevenly matched opponent out. The Skitty lowered itself down on the ground and wiggled its butt as it pretended like it was stalking its prey. As Yamori raised an eye quizzically, the small feline began to belt out the loudest and most annoying yowling that the leaf gecko had ever heard. Yamori immediately placed his hands over his ears and curled up to block out the worst of the sounds. “Yooouuu goooo sleeeep meeeooowww! Annnd I eattt you mmeeeooooow! Lunch for kitties served mmeeeoooow!” Yamori flared his nostrils and glanced around the littered alleyway floor. When his yellow eyes spotted a small broken piece of plastic from an old toy, Yamori would scoop it up in his hands and throw it at the pink feline to knock the Skitty in its head. “I don’t think being a professional singer is in your future.” Yamori stated calmly and prepared to run at the other Pokemon and slam it with his tail. Zaiden would change Yamori’s plans, however. He whistled loudly, catching the gecko’s attention. “Return.” The teenager pointed to his side and nodded his head, gesturing for Yamori to hop back off of the battlefield. Now was the perfect time for him to switch his Pokemon one last time. Even as the last remaining cat tried its best to belt out a sweet lullaby, only to be immediately thwarted by Zaiden’s Pokemon, Zaiden was sure that Hebi could easily handle the match with some diligence and patience. As Yamori hopped over to his side and settled down on the ground beside Zaiden, the teenage trainer would send Hebi out into the middle of the battle. “Use Wrap.” He instructed his snake. The purple reptilian Pokemon slithered around the ground and raised his head up high as he spotted his remaining prey. Something spun in the back of Hebi’s like wheels turning and he vaguely recalled the other pink feline that had been helping the paralyzed Skitty in the heat of the battle. Hebi glanced around in confusion for only a second, rattling his tail in warning to anything that would dare get too close, while he searched for the missing feline. When Hebi could tell that the only one left was the original feline that started it all, he smirked. “Preeyyy issss allll alonnneee.” And struck out, hoping to wrap the pink feline up nice and tightly in his coils.
