Ethan saw another Tauros again, and this one looked a little sturdier than the last one. Seeing that he did not have many encounters left, he figured he could strategize this one, just once. He had never done it before with other Pokemon before this one, but he grabbed some bait from the bag of bait, and hurled them at the Tauros to gauge its reaction. If it seemed interested, he would definitely toss another one at it once again to keep its interest. Then, he would probably start throwing Safari Balls, but let's see if the Tauros would pass the Bait Test first.

Seeing the Tauros nibbling on the bait he had tossed, Alex got ready to capture this Pokemon now. He grabbed a Safari Ball from his bag and mentally prepared himself to toss it again. He wasn't sure if the Tauros would react badly to being captured, so he was trying to keep a calm and friendly demeanor. When he thought the normal was still chewing the bait slowly and wasn't paying attention to him, Alex would finally toss a Safari Ball at the opponent. He waited to see what the result would be. He didn't expect it to be successful though, based on his luck.

The Tauros didn't flee yet, which was good. Now, Ethan needed to keep throwing Safari Balls at it and hope this normal type Pokemon could be captured. After breaking open the first ball, the bull continued nibbling on the bait like it was second breakfast. Ethan grabbed another Safari Ball and hurled at it, as he waited to see what the final result would be. The capture device sucked in the creature, and he watched with anticipation if this fella would stay inside the ball. He was hoping it would stay, but you can never tell.

Ball one and ball two didn't work. He continued to grab another Safari Ball because it wasn't like he wanted to throw anything else. As the Tauros was still eating its munchies, Ethan prepared his arm and then hurled it and waited again. This was now ball three, and the young trainer would have to patiently keep throwing balls at it until either it got captured or the Tauros escaped, preferably the former. He watched patiently, but slowly growing impatient, as the ball flew in an arc and sucked in the Tauros once again.

Another ball down, and Tauros was still out. Ethan sighed and grinned ironically at the tough to capture Tauros. He pulled out another capture device from the bag and hurled it at the opponent again and waited to see the ball did the wiggle wobble shakey dance. The ball sucked up the Tauros as Ethan sucked in air through his nose. He held his breath for the fourth or fifth time as he watched the Safari Ball did its thing on the soft sands. He crossed his fingers while waiting for the result of the next capture.

Tauros did the Nom nom nom, while Ethan did the sigh sigh sigh. Another ball, another hurl, another wait, another patience, another wobble wobble, another shakey shakey, another left right left right. The narrator's mind went 'esta loco' while composing this post because he ran out of different ways to describe this young trainer waiting for the ball to capture or the normal fleeing. It's the chance, the randomness, and this was like a gamble. If the Tauros ate too much would it get a speed debuff?

The number of Safari Ball Ethan had left was dwindling, kinda like his patience. How were there still bait left? He wondered. The Tauros must be a slow eater or he kept on tossing the Safari Ball that it didn't get to finish the munch. He grabbed yet another ball again, and he lost count how many he used on this Tauros in particular, but he would have like eight left after this. He hurled it toward the Tauros for the whatever number of times, and watched the ball do the Macarena.

Ethan wasn’t going to give up yet, so he tossed another ball to the bill and hoped for the best even though he may or may not have enough balls for the last two encounters. He watched and waited impatiently now as the ball did the shake shake wiggle wiggle Macarena chacha slide. The ball sucked in the hungry Tauros once again, and he grabbed his fist tightly to see what would happen to this Tauros taunting his patience. Please go in the ball and stay!
