Matthew stepped into the Trade Center, looking around. Someone had put out an ad, requesting for a specific Pokemon. Bronzor had been a recent find, gotten from buying it off of another Trainer that he had met in passing some days ago. It wasn't that he disliked the Pokemon, but he had yet to properly bond with it and this presented an interesting opportunity. The boy who had posted the opening had something special for offer, a Bug Pokemon from the Galar Region that he was willing to part with.
Matthew finally found the boy, a blonde-haired man in a well-pressed suit that was holding a Poke Ball. Matthew wondered if they had attended any of the same social functions, or if the boy's familiar face was just because so many rich kids in this world seemed to look like blonde boys in suits. Matthew didn't care enough to figure that out for himself, at least not at the moment. He would make his presence known, explaining that he had come to engage in a trade: A Bronzor for a Blipbug.

Chris ran his fingers through generously gelled blonde hair. He has been waiting for one. HOUR!!! Are all those peasants not aware of what he had to offer? For a mere Bronzor?! He had better things to do, like counting his dad's money. FINALLY, someone came up. He crossed his arms. - What took YOU so long?! Well, whatever, you're here now. - he took out the Poke Ball conaining the galarian bug. - Caught this while I was in my holiday mansion. Figured some of you poor trainers could use a Pokemon that you will never see here in Johto. You know, so you can brag to your poor friends, that you have something that touched galarian soil. Crow stomped into the trading area of the Pokemon Centre in a hurry. He looked around nervously, quickly his gaze pausing on a lady waiting for a trade. Yes! Exactly what he needed! - Yo, you want a cat? I have a cat! - he grinned, every now and again looking over his shoulder at the entrance. - Come on, let's do the trade, okay? I have places to be! - he rushed the lady to the trading machine. As soon as the trade finished, he caught the pokeball with his new prize and proceeded bolt out of the Pokemon Centre just as suddenly as he entered, with a swift "Thanks!". Beauty Ann huffed and stared down at the punchy little ape. She wasn't opposed to keeping it if it didn't totally ruin things. It just wanted to train and become stronger, which often meant running through yucky environments and getting really, really dirty. When Crow showed up offering to trade, Ann's eyes lit up. "Yes, ok. Ethan hadn't been to the Trade Center in a while. When he heard news of a man looking for a Swalot, he was surprised he would wanted one. Usually, Ruin Maniacs have ground or rock type Pokemon, so maybe the trade wasn't even for himself, right?
"Hey there, Ron. You're Ron, right? I heard you're looking for a Swalot? I got one just very recently." He greeted the man, and then presented the Pokeball for the trade. Whether or not Ron would explain why he would want a poison type Pokemon, he didn't think too much about it. Once the two party would have agreed on the trade, he would be ready to finalize the trade.

Ethan was back in the Pokemon Center again for another trade. He was looking for a woman named Ren, either short for Rene or Rena or maybe some unique name he hadn't heard of. He walked around and whispered Ren to various people that he thought would be one, until he found the one whose name Ren he was looking for.
"Hi, are you Ren? I heard you're looking for a Buneary?" He greeted, and presented a Pokeball holding a Buneary that he had acquired from another trainer. Once the other party had seen the Buneary and agreed to the trade, he would then move to the trading terminal to have their Pokemon traded. He already have a Snorunt himself, but he was pretty sure he could find a good home for the Snorunt being traded as well, just as he was finding a good home for the Buneary.

Oh, those little things have been SO elusive back in Sinnoh, hiding in every nook and cranny of the Eterna Forest. - Oh Arceus, thank you! What a cutiepie! - she fawned, looking over the pokeball containing the fluffball. - For the life of me, I just couldn't get ahold of one! I heard Loppuny can Mega Evolve and I'm just DYING to see it! - she picked out her Snorunt from among the many pokeballs cluttering her handbag. - I tried evolving this one into a Frosslass, but the Dawn Stone doesn't seem to work on it... Adrian had multiple skitty running around his property now. The feline pokemon mostly got along, but he had noticed that one of them was starting to get left out as of late. With the health and happiness of his pokemon being priority for him, Adrian knew that he had to do something to help. So when he saw an advertisement posted by another breeder looking for a skitty, he decided that it might very well be the right decision to rehome the kitten with someone else. He hoped the little cat would be happier with Jareth. "Hello. You mentioned looking for a skitty," Adrian said as he approached the breeder at the designated meeting spot. He motioned to the curious kitten walking at his feet. "This little one has been getting bullied a bit back home and I think it might be happier elsewhere. Think you can take care of it for me?"

" Oh, hi!" Jareth greeted the young man, his hands full with an array of unruly baby Pokémon, each pulling in a different direction. " You've brought Skitty? You're a savior!" He sighed with relief, picking up an especially ornery Pichu that seemed determined to shock the trading machine. " I used to have a Houndour that kept these little guys in check," Jareth explained, " but since he evolved, they’ve become spooked of him. So I gave him to my little brother, who's doing the Gym challenge. I read that Skitty chases everything that moves, so maybe it could help me out here." As he spoke, Jareth clamped a tiny Magby's beak shut before it could try to burn Adrian. " I've got an Audino for this too, but he’s not interested in babysitting and prefers exploring. You look like the type that travels around, so I think you're going to be a perfect match for sure!... Buzzy, stop this!" he scolded the Elekid, which was attempting to bite his leg and move towards the machine. "Oh my god, this is perfect!" Eden had practically squealed when a notification popped up on their phone for a new posting on the Trade Centre hub. Someone was looking for a Rattata at last, the Pokemon that Eden had screamed and run away from on first encountering it, but which they had ended up taking with them in the end all the same. They had hoped they might warm up to the unusually shaded creature, but... well that didn't really seem to be happening. Not quickly enough for Eden's liking anyway, and even if they did eventually come to like it a little more than they did now, it would never be better than a Jigglypuff! That cute, round, pink ball of joy! Oh and it matched their kittens too, a quarter of pink children! Oh how wonderful! They'd sent a message cross to the trader immediately, even taking pictures of their strangely coloured rat to send across while they grimaced slightly at the results of them. Perhaps unsurprisingly, he wasn't quite as photogenic as the contest stars that they were used to... oh well, he would be out of their hair soon so it didn't really matter. Once the meeting was set, they rushed towards the location, Rattata locked away in his Pokeball as Eden bounced excitedly on their toes. "Nicole? It's Eden from the app, you want a Rattata, right?" Oh this was perfect, perfect, perfect! Losing one burden and gaining an accessory, what more could you even ask for?

In truth, Silas HAD been planning to evolve this spinarak he caught into an ariados. It was far stronger than Spinner and thus far less training was needed to make it useful. But alas, the pesky bug was an absolute NIGHTMARE ever since being caught. It never listened. It was aggressive. It pointedly made itself nothing but a problem. Silas was utterly resigned to just ditching the annoyance off in a creek somewhere when he saw the listing on his phone. Oh? Hello. There was indeed a potential sucker for this bug. And if he was inclined...it might just be a better electric type than Jessica...especially once evolved. But he hadn't made any decisions on that yet. He just knew he needed rid of this spider and the horse would be much easier to deal with to train...or trade away for something even better.

Machop was surprisingly uncommon to find in Johto.
Thus when he saw someone looking for a makuhita in exchange for one, he was intrigued. While not exactly common, the little sumo-wrestler-like pokemon was found in Union Cave if one looked long enough. Adrian could easily find another if he returned (not that he was eager to go into such a deep, dark place again...) as he had long since gotten the badges required to access the caverns. So with a little reassurance to himself that this was the right thing to do, he approached the person and offered up a trade.
"Inana is very spirited," he said. "But think she'd make a better fit for your team than mine." He never really did find the best opportunity to train her. Hopefully the next one he caught he'd be able to dedicate attention to properly.
