Kevin had heard of a trainer offering a certain fish Pokemon that he had plenty of experience with in the past and he had to check it out. He had recently hatched several Snubbull eggs in his daycare and could easily spare one of them for the Carvanha on offer. They were quite a strange fish Pokemon with a powerful evolution and combined with their ability could prove quite useful to him. As he entered the trade station he saw a lady standing there with the very fish Pokemon he was looking for and approached her. " Excuse me ma'am are you the one looking for a SNubbull? If so I have one here I would be willing to trade for your Carvanha."

Tai's first official pokemon battle along Route 29 had seemingly been a display of dominance, his future as bright as anyone's. Whilst most of the locals were pleased to see the leader of Sentret crew now under the guidance of a mature individual with the right degree of patience, one local in particular, a young Lass named Anna was enamored with the meerkat pokemon that had only moments ago joined Tai's team. As the crowd of people dispersed and went back to their lives, Anna chose to approach Tai and offer him her Sewaddle named Denise. At first Tai was hesitant to trade away a pokemon that he had only mere moments ago added to his team, it seemed however that Lass Anna was not going to take no for an answer, she was DETERMINED to get her way, even offering Tai the option of a pokemon battle with a winner takes all stakes. It wasn't until Tai noticed Anna holding a packet of unopened gummy bears in her left hand that his attention was truly grasped, the young lass 'sweetened' the deal to include the packet of gummy bears and at that point the sweet toothed Tai was unable to resist as the pair shook hands and exchanged pokeballs, and of course the packet of gummy bears.

"Miss Miki?" Adrian asked as he approached a young woman with a stunky at her side. "Hello. I'm here about your trade offer? I have a spinda here...if you're still interested?" He was curious how the lass came into the possession of the skunk pokemon, as they were often found in places like marshes and swamps where its pungent odor was less...well, significant. Maybe it was an accident? Maybe she had been wandering around Ilex and caught one or someone had gifted it to her. Adrian wasn't about to pry. He just freed the wobbling little bear to show her that he was here earnestly.

Finding a pidove roosting in the eaves of his porch had been fine until it—or she he supposed—started laying eggs very brazenly in precarious places. Her nests were terrible, ramshackle things with three twigs and some barbed wire that she stole from somewhere. Adrian eventually ended up getting tired of the whole affair and decided to catch the pidove and rehome her, but he didn't manage to grab her before, well, she laid ANOTHER egg. He wasn't willing to leave said egg out in the cold, so he brought it in and placed it in the incubator.

Adrian did not need two pidoves, and well, this one probably wouldn't appreciate him after separating her from her nestling. So when he saw a listing to trade a pidove for a rookidee, he decided to go for it.

He found the individual at the meeting spot and offered the ball, explaining the whole weird scenario and how it came to be. He hoped that she would have a better home somewhere that wasn't in his roof.

Gardener Peter remained fastidious. He tended the crops in his field from sunup to sundown, never allowing the day to waste away. Even when he placed flyers throughout the greater stretches of New Bark and Cherrygrove, advertising for a trade of his troublemaking Rookidee who remained absolutely no help to him at all, he kept himself on his farm tilling the land with slight grumbles underneath his breath of the work that needed to be done.

When Adrian approached him, Peter stopped for only a brief moment and leaned against the large cultivator tool. He used one hand to push the brim of his hat up and only slightly waved with the other. “I gots work that needs been done, boy. Make it quick!” Peter snapped, eyes turning to the freshly overturned earth he prepared for his autumn crops. “These babies ain’t plantin’ themselves, ya know.” Adrian carried on about the strange happenings of his Pidove, laying eggs wherever she pleased with no inept skills at homemaking.

“Well… I was wantin’ a new bird, yes. Me Rookidee keeps eatin’ all me crops. Can’t be havin’ none that, ya see? So, I was hopin’ I’d score a bird better at eatin’ up grubs that might destroy me crops. Pidove sounded better ‘n better the more I looked into it.” Peter added, pulling out a small capsule and quickly switching the Pokemon around with Adrian. “Please take care o’ my ol’ girl, Rookie. Kay?” Peter asked, a small tear in the corner of his eye as proof that he did actually care about the troublemaking pest he once owned.

"Then it's your lucky day! Look at this little cutie I got here!" She did her best to sell it as she let out the little newly hatched monkey. "What do you think?"

As the list of trainers looking to trade was updated one in particular caught Marchbaby's eye. He had an Alomomola for some time and no plans for it and when he saw a trainer wanted one willing to trade a Buizel for it he could not make his way to the Trade Center fast enough. Upon reaching the trade center he started to look around for the trainer with a Buizel as sich an uncommon Pokemon would not have many people who owned one in Johto. As soon as he found a trainer with said Pokemon he approached them with the Alomomola in it's Ultra Ball in his hand.

" Hello, are you the trainer looking for a Alomomola by any chance? I would gladly trade you mine for your Buizel" He then waited for their response.

This Murkrow DID NOT like her. It was a pest of a bird that assailed her relentlessly for shiny objects, still resentful about Arcanine turning them into a chew toy during their battle in the dark. That hadn't been the PLAN per se, but Freya had realized that she was in a bit of a stalemate. She COULD release the murkrow and be done with it, but then the bird would go back to harassing people on the route and someone could get hurt. It was far too comfortable with humans and emboldened to attack. However...she couldn't keep it. Not in good concious anyhow.

So she did what any good trainer would do, she looked to rehome the poor bird.

And she was in luck!

There was a gentleman with a clamperl seeking a murkrow in exchange. Perfect. She knew nothing about clamperls but she eagerly approached the man with duskball in hand.

"You're looking to trade?" she greeted hopefully.

Her eyes brightened up and she nearly knocked her out hat off as she whirled with excitement, her golden falling down her back in a cascade of spiral curls. "Oh my! You have one? They are so strange and beautiful and rare. I just love pink pokemon and it has eluded more for the longest time. But you have brought one to me and answered by request? Oh what a gentleman~" She hurried forward, "It is not that I don't adore my Poppy, I assure you, she is a delight, but...well, she is ever so full of energy. She could use a proper outlet for all of it. And you do look the sort who could provide that for her."

Eagerly, she accepted the offer and swapped their pokemon.
