July 2024 Gogoat Race Signups

Summer is in the air! With the fields in full bloom we are opening our Gogoat races once again! Make sure you're acquainted with the rules found here.

Copy the code below with your choice of character and mount. The Race will begin on Mon. July 22nd and Sat. July 27th if at least 5 people have signed up. Time TBD based on whatever preferred times listed by you: the racers ;D

What time works best for you to start? [in CBox Time]

*For the time, please base it off of the timezone of the CBox. If you're unsure how to convert your time into CBox time, simply post a message in chat and check how many hours +/- your time is from the timestamp of the message ^^

Eg: When I post in the CBox, the timestamp is +2hrs from my own. So if I'm only available from 10am - 3pm I would list 12pm - 5pm as my preferred race start time.

These races can be very very quick, so being available for the start time can be what makes it or breaks it! If you sign up and later decide you don't want to enter then just cancel your sign up sheet (strike it out).

Another Note: There are now 2 races with every event! They are shorter than their old race counterparts, and will happen at different times. This will hopefully allow more members the chance to participate during the height of these events! We will confirm both first & second race times based on player feedback on availability!

➤ As an added note, thank you to everyone who have included time ranges that work best for when to start their races! If you say "any" or "just about any", I've marked you for all hours from 12 AM to 11:59:59 PM. If you only listed say "4 AM to whenever" this was noted as 4 AM to end of day for it's time block, pretty much. The more specific, the better I can plan for you, the racers!

➤ Always ensure the times you list are based on Cbox time. I'm not converting Eastern Standard (my time zone xD), Central, Pacific, etc. Sorry. ^^' I don't know what Cbox is on. Just adding this to make sure we're all aware, as it's called out in the main post too.

➤ Times picked to maximize racer participation and time zone differences! There will never be a way to make it perfect for everyone to join, unfortunately. ^^ We all have such varied lives in such different time zones. I have done my best by categorizing the times in "6 hour blocks" (4 separate sections of the day) to visually help me ensure the days' times do not overlap too much.

➤ Sign ups will remain open until Sunday, July 21st! Times are already set now, so anyone still waiting to join can do so. Just note that we won't be changing the times noted going forward.

Mon, Jul. 22^nd: @9:00 (AM) | Sat. Jul. 27^th: @20:00 (8 PM)
Notifications will be sent out via discord at a bare minimum starting 1 hour before, and via our onsite CBox!
