A lone Gloom appeared from the dense background grasses and bushes, carrying with it a horrible stench from the flower bud. It was very focused as it mumbled something to itself. "Three Oran Berries, and two Rawst Berry. Three Oran Berries, two Rawst Berry. Three Oran Berries, two Rawst Berry..." It repeated continuously to itself, as if trying to not forget it. Maybe it was a grocery list or something, but neither Alex nor spiden would know how these Pokemon live their lives here.

"Hey, Gloom! Are you okay?" The Ariados asked curiously, crawling toward it.

"No. I mean yes! Don't distract me! Or my spouse will get mad I forget these again!" The Gloom shouted back in shock, and then backed to his mumble.

"Well, shoo. You're disturbing our quietness! Hurry along now." Spiden gave the Gloom a little nibbling encouragement to move those little feet faster.

"Ahhh! I am sorry." The Gloom screamed as it was nibbled. Then, it froze. "Uh... What do I need again?"

"Three Oran Berry and two Rawst! Go before you forget!" Spiden replied, jerking her head slightly to motion the grass type to move along.

Alex had learned quite a bit about dancing, the tradition, the benefits, and the enjoyment. Although he lacks the rhythm to be a great dancer, he could settle for the solo and shaking kind when no one's looking. Just kidding, he still scoffed at the idea of him being a rhythmic dancer. Maybe eventually he would be warmed up to this idea, but he's a little intimidated by this and the possibility of tripping over his own feet! He stood up straight once again, and then walked over to a plaque talking about the design and building of the dance theater.

"Hmm... this bag of chips was a little stale, but it still taste good..." The Gloom mumbled to itself, holding a bag of chips left by a visitor on one hand, and another hand already reaching in for another one. Alex turned around and wasn't expecting to see a Gloom digging leftover trash to eat, an activity commonly known to Rattata evolutions or even Zigzagoon. Then, the Gloom took the next single piece of chips and bit down hard. Each chew in its mouth made a loud crunch inside. The trainer don't remember these Pokemon having teeth, so he pondered how did those crunching sound were made.

Spiden used the darkness of the night to make a circle and snuck behind the grass type, giving a stern warning. "Shh. You're chewing too loud!"

The Gloom paused. "What? I live here. You're the one visiting and should be leaving. Isn't it closing time?"

"Nope. It's kind of an open park."

"Oh..." The Gloom crunched another chips, maybe it was the acid in its mouth causing a crunchy reaction. The Ariados shook her head and went for a nibble as well, but at the Gloom, not the bag of chips.

The Ariados essentially gave the Gloom a "Shadow Leech". The grass type cried in pain with a loud "AAHH!" as it gripped the bag of chips and ran off in the distance. Then, it stopped and retraced a few steps to dig a half eaten candy bar off the ground, and then ran off for real once again.

Alex mumbled to himself as he watched the Gloom acting strange, and picking up trash to eat like a Zigzagoon. Was this a learned behavior from Zigzagoon who might have once lived in this garden? Or maybe he just assumed only Zigzagoon would behave in this kind of unusual way.

Then, Alex went back to where he left off, something about how dancing kept people healthy back in the days, along with their pokemon.

Dancing as a moderate exercise for people wasn't a new fact, but Alex was more surprised that they actually have a plaque in this garden. After thinking briefly for a bit, he figured that was more for kids or movement inclined people to continue their pursuit or enthusiasm for dancing, and cherishing the healthy benefits.

Once he finished, he turned and walked away to the next garden bed of flowers. In the darkness of the night, he noticed another jar of nectar sitting and hidden under the blooming flowers. He reached for the jar, while trying to avoid the sharp stalks from the flowers. He placed it under the glittering sky, and noticed it was a jar of red nectar. Another one? He was beginning to wonder if these come in different colors.

This garden surely wasn't quiet at the evening, or the night, as most pokemon danced it away, and that fitted the stumbling an uneven moving spinda just fine.

When Alex finished putting the red jar of nectar in his backpack, he looked up to see a Spinda walking funnily and seemingly dancing. The last time he had seen a Spinda was in New Bark Town, so this wasn't new to him. Well, he had never battled one, but he had seen them in the background along the route, from where he had obtained his Bulbasaur. The sky had also started raining, and since the Spinda was still walking and wobbling weirdly, Alex quietly took the time to put on a rain jacket. Once he was done, he checked if the normal type was still there.

It was.

"Spiden, use Leech Life!" Alex simply called out a move, and watched as his bug type made the move. Then, he prepared a Pokeball to capture this Pokemon for his Pokedex.

Make the colours in the sky🎶” The Spinda twirled as it sang to itself, chirping a happy tune it heard from the garden patrons who came in.

“What are you humming? This is a dance garden not a club,” Spiden clicked her mandibles as she snarked.

“But it’s a fun catchy tune! I heard it from some grown humans. It’s a much better tune than the small ones humming about Sharpedo.” The normal type replied.

“I agree with that, but can’t you hum it tomorrow? It’s getting late now.” The bug replied.

“But I can’t sleep right now. I have so much energy tonight!” The bear squeaked cutely.

“Can I have some of that energy? Maybe it’ll help you sleep!” The Ariados spoke and then crawled forward to nibble on the mammal. The bear yelped in pain, and then resumed humming.

However, Alex surprised them with a Pokeball as the Spinda merely turned 180 degrees about to leave. It was sucked into the capture device and ended with another successful ding.

A bit of thin sticky string descended from one of the well pruned bushy trees around Alex carrying a curious little bundle of leaves. Drawn by all the nectar he was collecting perhaps. Spiden was well adapted to watch for such an entrance, as any spider would, and was ready to make quick work of the shy bug. A little breeze made it spin wildly.
