While I was away from this place, this was one games series I poured a lot of time into playing. It was something I enjoyed as I just fell in love with the whole setting and universe. ME1 was really good and I enjoyed ME2 even better. For one it got rid of the Mako (Hated that buggy piece of... Moonbuggy) and the time time-wasting excuse of an inventory system ME1 had.
With all this news coming out about ME3 i'm more than looking forward to it. I just hope all these rumours of Wrex returning are true. Best Krogan ever.

I think I liked Grunt more, but there were a few things I liked better about ME1. Like EXPLORING, rather than the tiny levels in ME2. ME2 was more smooth though. But yeah, great series.

Woah, woah, woah? Exploring? You don't mean on the buggy right? It might just be on PC controls but it was an absolute nightmare driving that thing. I about dreaded every time I was deployed on the Mako. Much prefer the Hammerhead hovercraft in ME2. Was pretty fun zipping about on that. Interesting you prefer Grunt though. I've not really come across many who have said that. For the most part I like him as well but then again i'm a bit of a fan of the Krogans. Most of the ones you come across are presented all brutish but I find them funny. That huge monologue one can go and die in a fir-... Oh yeah, he DID if you took the Renegade interrupt.

No, not in the Mako, I didn't hate the Mako exactly but I'm not a huge fan, I meant like how you can actually walk around places and explore. The Hammerhead has lousy missile guidance and has such low armor that I can't stand it.
But yeah, the Krogans are pretty cool. Same with the Turians and, thanks to Mordin, the Salaerians as well.

Oh I get what you mean now, like the Citadel was a much larger place to explore. That's fair enough, I missed that myself. The whole confined floor system of ME2 was a bit disappointing. I kept expecting there to be a huge exit into the rest of the place. As opposed to just one Ward. I didn't mind Omega so much but then again I didn't have anything to compare it to. Hammerhead did have low armour though. I seem to remember having to use cover to take out some turrets in Overlord, haha.
I think the only race that didn't particularly impress me was the Asari. Some were pretty cool but they are trying to push them too much as every nerd's wet dream. Hell, I don't even mind the Batarians. Sure they get a lot of flak but its a bit more realistic to have not everyone promoting this galactic unity the Citadel promotes.

I always Used Zeead and Legion really, Since I was a Vanguard. I would use Kasumi alot only because she had a handy ability.
Yeah the turrent in overloard where annoying,I just bunny hopped over them mainly. Neither of the ME vehicles really impressed me though.

Oh I got a good question, are you going to replay ME1 and ME2 to max out your chances in ME3? I saw the question brought up if people were going to use their original save file to live with their choices or try to do the best in what they wanted out of the games.

Alex loves the Asari. Wants little green/blue/purple kids in ME3. Kode and Midori know I'm right, so I have witnesses to back this up.
As for my character I'm going through ME1, and will do ME2 with this new char, now to make a new char because I decided I like good guys that are willing to do "evil" things to get the job done if needed more than the purely renegade guys I made before.

This is true I support rolands claim.
Yes it always fun to be the good guy who has to do the evil things for the greater good.

I just did what appealed to me, although the need to have full paragon or renagade makes things difficult for some choices.

Yes he did. Not even sure, nor do I want to know, how that worked as their fluids should negatively affect each other. So I guess you really did just do what appealed to you Tak. You also get more money and other free stuff and are more likely to do the smart thing in combat situations. Like with the Krogan standing over a fuel tank, during Mordin's loyalty mission, with Renegade you can shoot said fuel tank and blow it up killing him and I think two other Krogan instead of needing to waste ammo and risk dying in a more fair fight. Speaking of ammo though that was something I hated in ME2. Felt like a downgrade compared to in ME1, as long as the weapon was upgraded well or you controlled it well in ME1 anyway, yet they made such a big deal over how much better it was and the ammo didn't seem common enough sometimes. I mean in ME1 you had to risk overheating but it was easy to control and you have infinite ammo. Now you run out of the coolant packs or whatever and that is it weapon is dead. The higher fire rate was nice but as I use short bursts, and now a semi-auto rifle, it is rather meaningless for me. I don't see why they didn't just make it so after you run out of packs you could keep firing like in ME1 but had to worry about overheating and each weapon had a lower heat tolerance than in ME1 as they would focus on the new design.

They probably provided the ammo system to provide tension, in ME1 I could just sit there, pop the guy's shields wait for my gun to cool down then kill him. It probably fulfills the RPG aspect of being able to use a sword over and over again but as a shooter I really didn't feel that worried until I ran into swarms of enemies that ran at me, but even then it was solve by switching weapons and keeping up the fight.
And yes I did end up with Garrius for some reason, all I did was make my Shepard be nice to him and bam. "Hey Shepard my ex was reeaaaaaally flexible."

Tension I can understand but most situations call for mid range weapons, AKA AR or SMG, so switching to another weapon is possible but can be bad. So the AR was my most used weapon and was the one I mostly ran out of ammo with even though it was the best overall. I also wouldn't have such a big problem with it if they didn't keep screaming that it is an improvement and much better than the old one avery three seconds.

Alot of classes played to the extremes though, only problem I had with some assault rifles was how much ammo they eat up so fast, or maybe it's because I just used that much ammo. Ether way I kept finding myself leaving the traditional rifles behind for the machine gun, only to lack the accuracy I needed alot of the time.
