Incoming from Shady GlenWhat a game changer. Justin sheilded his eyes from the bright lights around him. Simba himself was also having a hard time dealing with how beautiful and bright the place was, due to his good eyesight. As soon as they adjusted, having come from a dark, depressing, awful looking place, this new section of the forest HAD to be where that damn bird had run off to. Man, this place is pretty beautiful. He exclaimed. He released a Pokemon out into the clearing. Yo, Dayn, check this place out! It's beautiful! He smiled. The Gyarados formed and looked out over the forest, nodding his giant head in agreement with his trainer. Hey. Simba, Dayn... keep your eyes peeled for that bird, alright? We only got one more, and then we're off to Goldenrod, got it? He said. Both Pokemon nodded while they started to look. Dayn curled up into a coil and then lifted himself, using his tail and his lower body as a base to stretch up into the air and be a big set of eyes for the trainer. Justin could only sit against a tree and wait. At least this one didn't break... [Waiting for something, Farfetch'd Encounter needed] As Justin sat relaxing under the tree, another creature was also relaxing nearby. Up in a tree sat the missing Farfetch'd, looking mighty comfortable on its perch. The bird sat quietly, snoozing gently in the brightly lit forest. Here it didn't have to worry about getting attacked by any strange beasts...
At that moment, Dayn stuck his giant head right in front of the dozing bird. The Farfetch'd cracked an eye open to see where this strange, damp breeze had come from, only to find itself looking into the Gyarados's gaping maw. Shrieking, the bird snatched up its leek and slammed it forward, catching Dayn on the nose. Surprisingly, the relatively small bird packed quite a punch, sending Dayn yowling in pain. The Farfetch'd took this opportunity to leap from the tree and scuttle across the forest floor, only to go sprawling over Justin's outstretched legs. Yelping, it leapt up, leek at the ready.
The runaway Farfetch'd (level 20) seems shocked that you found it! Choose a Pokemon to knock it out and return it to Sylvester! Battle here

The Farfetch'd was knocked out, thankfully. It had been a quick match, thanks to Simba and his electric attacks. Granted, it was underhanded, but this was Ilex. Having grown up in the city bordering the forest, he'd heard stories of those who neer came out of Ilex after weeks and weeks of wandering around aimlessly. Justin didn't plan on being one of those people. He had his pokemon, so hopefully he wouldn't have too many issues. Well, now he had his Pokemon and an electrified bird. At least now that bird would have a 'zip' and a 'zap' in it's step. Either way, he felt bad for the michevious bird. Shouldn't've run away. He shrugged. He dug into his pocket and pulled Dayn's pokeball. Yer a little big fer this forest, even still. Take a rest. Simba, stay out and help me navigate this damn place. He chuckled, before returning the beast in a green flash of light. He pocketed the pokeball and ruffled Simba's fur before picking up the fainted bird. He gave it a swift pat before walking back down the path he'd come, hoping to find the ruffled Sylvester among the trees and the Pokemon. Departing to Shady Glen

"Okay, maybe not so much picture taking."The long, monotonous walk through the forest proved to be as toiling and terrible as it sounded, resulting in an incredibly boring stretch of trail. Justin could only take so many pictures of trees, leaves and reflections of light in small puddles of strange liquid. Luxray found amusement in this, mainly because Justin had been so keen on taking pictures. "Hey now, don't ya tease. My arms got tired is all..."Defending himself from the judgement of his Pokemon, Justin held up Simba's pokeball. "If you don't wanna walk with me, you can always rest?"The man suggested, and Simba shook his head quickly. It wasn't that Luxray didn't like the pokeball, no, he enjoyed his rests occasionally. But Simba enjoyed his walks with his trainer more. So instead, they'd bicker until Justin got where he needed to be, and would eventually get his second wind. Travelling to Mahogany Knoll

Incoming from Mahogany KnollIs this what the rest of the team thinks? Justin asked Surreo as they continued their trek. In this part of the forest, Luminous Vale, there seemed to be a bit more sound, so Justin didn't feel the need to speak aloud and fill the empty void. Bugs chirped, and Justin made sure to watch where he stepped. The last thing he wanted to do was step on one. The thrill of the photograph urged Justin to attempt to take some night shots, but right now his heart just wasn't in it. Surreo cleared his throat and watched Justin. At the moment, kind of. Dayn feels like it's his fault, but when you went to talk to him about it, I think your words abolished that. Freyja is as nervous as ever, she thinks she didn't do good enough. Rhoan wants to fight whatever is at the Center, so that works I guess. I don't think you're going to abandon us, and Capona is distressed she won't be near you. We'll all cope one way or another, but after the Slakoth incident, the team just had the worries that you were leaving us behind.
It was so stupid to Justin. How could anyone even think that? After all they'd done and seen together, and they really thought he was just going to drop them in the dirt where they sat? No way. I'll be honest, i'm kind of hurt, but i'll get over it. I'm more worried about you guys. What can I say or do that will clear all this up? Azalea pow wow? Justin suggested, attempting to throw out ideas. As long as his team knew he'd be coming back, Justin would be fine. He was not abandoning them. They had to understand there are tons of Pokemon right? They could probably take Whitney down, but it would be close. Like, getting by with the skin of your teeth close. I will make sure they understand.
That's my job. Justin wanted Surreo to know that he was still their trainer, and that he was still going to do everything in his power. Why were the Pokemon freaking out that they were getting a staycation for a while? Justin just needed to train up a few others. Their next path hit Shady Glen, and then they were a free ride out of there.

Incoming from Shady Glen
"Can't believe i'm stuck doing all this grunt work." Rhoan complained to nobody in particular. She was alone in the middle of the vast Ilex Forest, without another soul to be seen. She'd passed a blonde trainer and a Gallade, but that was about it. She didn't count Sylvester, either. Once she'd left Shady Glen, there was everything but trainers. Nothing out here. She could hear the Pokemon rustling, and she could tell that there were things following her out of curiosity (because nothing could hunt her, she was the hunter, not them) but there wasn't a Farfetch'd to be seen. What had Sylvester said? A nice sunny area with tall trees? This place seemed sunny and tall tree'd enough, eh? "Farfetch'd better get it's ass out here before I stuff it and bring it back and a mantlepiece..." Rhoan growled to herself. Reaver, who'd claimed Rhoan's shoulders and head of hair to mess around in, chirped in an attempt to calm her trainer down. After all, a distracted hunter was an unsuccessful hunter. She could always try and shock the trainer with just a little spark in order to bring her back to her senses, but the Joltik didn't feel like getting squished. Instead, she just patiently waited and watched Rhoan's facial expressions. The hunter bent down and looked at some of the dirt. "Well, there's no doubt about it, there was a Farfetch'd this way. Whether it stopped here or went somewhere else is totally a guess." Rhoan murmured, eyes peering out into the undergrowth for any signs of life. Farfetch'd could fly as far as she knew, but why didn't they just fly away? They wanted to stay here, but not obey Sylvester, apparently. "When we find them, let's use an electroweb to sticky them down and knock them out. I don't plan on chasing something down. If anything, we can always lay down some of your webbing as a trap. Or we could just ambush the first thing that passes. Either way, I want this done asap. The sooner we get out of this forsaken forest, the better. I've got way more important stuff to do than run errands for some ridiculous coward." She didn't have a high opinion of Sylvester, but she didn't have a high opinion of anyone, honestly. Joltik chirped in agreement, and Rhoan looked around in an attempt to see if this was the correct spot for the dumb bird. [Staying to Search for Farfetch'd]

Rhoan had spotted some foot prints which likely belonged to the Farfetch'd but unfortunately, the answer to her thoughts was the latter. The Farfetch'd had been in the area but was no longer around. Both of the avians who had escaped from the young, inexperienced wood cutter didn't like him either and both were prepared to escape both him and any extra help if necessary. The imprint in the mud was still fresh, implying that the bird had passed by recently. Apart from Luminous Vale, there was another area with tall thin trees and the sun was known to gleam through the branches, giving it a particular name. Hopefully with a bit more exploration and hunting knowledge, Rhoan would be able to follow the prints to the correct area and find the first bird.
Although she was in the company of Reaver, the duo were not alone. Hiding behind a thin tree trunk, a round bug peered through the luminous, soothing light of the vale, staring at the woman's bright red hair. It wasn't unusual for humans to travel through the area but for this wild Pokemon, it had never really bothered to approach one before. Full of curiosity and intrigue, the sound of buzzing behind Rhoan could be heard and if she were to turn, she would be met with the sight of a young Ledyba. Sporting an impressive red shell and large, child like eyes, the bug waved it's many hands to Rhoan, hoping she would be a friendly human to play with.
A wild Ledyba (Level 10) has appeared! Battle or Flee? The battle will take place here.

Reaver chirped as Rhoan continued to sit, waiting for something that probably wasn't even coming. She was the Red Tiger after all, had her skills really gotten this rusty? He said sunny. It was sunny here. He said bad firewood. In Rhoan's opinion, these trees were bad firewood in the sense that you didn't want to chop them down because they were far too tall. Bah, perhaps there were more trees down the path. Farfetch'd HAD been here, that she knew. If anything, she held onto that for her own sense of security and self worth. After all, it wasn't every day you were thrown into work you didn't want to do for people you didn't care for. Oh wait. She was a Rocket. That seemed to be every day, now a days. "Reaver, i'm getting tired. I don't think we're gonna find any stupid bird here." The woman snarled, and Reaver chirped an agreement. Standing up, and by cause and effect rustling a few bushes, Rhoan started walking towards the path that led from the Vale. However, before she could get much farther, she heard something. It was a light sound, as if someone were just rippling a bit of plastic, but she heard it none the less. Turning quickly as if she were being trailed by an assailant, Rhoan was met with a Ledyba. It's many arms were hugging the tree it hid behind, until it was spotted. The friendly Pokemon walked forward, and began to wave at her with all it's arms. Rhoan rolled her eyes. "You're not a Farfetch'd." She growled between clenched teeth, before spinning on her heel to return to her path. Reaver chirped and gave a little wave as Rhoan seemed to spurn the Wild Pokemon. Oh well. "We can come back and make friends later. Right now i'm more concerned about getting those birds before it gets darker and they get more trail on me. I've wasted enough time here as it is. It's not my fault I don't have the same opinion of firewood as that dork." She muttered to herself, coming up with excuse after excuse. Truth be told, she was angry at herself. This is what she used to do. Had she really gotten so lax that she couldn't track Pokemon anymore? No, that couldn't be the case. "Those tracks lead deeper in. Maybe we'll have better luck there."(Ignoring Battle) ( Exiting to Gleaming Hollow)

Incoming from Mahogany KnollTired of walking, Rhoan sat down for a little bit of a break inside the Vale. It was pretty here, and besides. Sitting out here in the open where people could see her lessened the possibility of those getting suspicious. She was about to raise some hell in Azalea, and needed to look as unassuming as possible. Releasing her team to rest as well, Rhoan was surrounded by her rag-tag group of Pokemon. Cazyle was off doing handstands or some dumb crap like that, where as Tyrana sat next to Rhoan, making sure to keep her flaming tail out of any shrubbery or brush. Rhoan didn't want the headline 'DUMB TRAINER SETS ILEX ON FIRE' assosicated with herself. Ares settled down and rested his legs by laying down on the ground. Even his tails ceased to whip around. Cola snapped and sniffed at everything that he saw or smelt, where as Hatari sat grumbling to herself. Reaver was where she always was, which was nestled in Rhoan's hair until she was needed. Strange as it was, Rhoan felt pretty at peace. The hunter was a bit reluctant to start with Pokemon in the beginning, but after getting her second badge, she was really falling into the role well. "We're all pretty rag tag, aren't we..." she muttered, watching each of her Pokemon with a curious gaze. "But we're gonna be one of the best damn teams out there. We're doing mighty fine as it is right now." She grunted, pulling out a bit of food to nibble on. Her Pokemon had food, so that was good at least. The priority was getting those dumb birds back to Sylvester, and then raising hell. "People will see us coming and go back inside. That's the reputation I want again. I want cops to be afraid of us. I want to mess around and do whatever we want with no consequences. We'll get there eventually. Let's just keep at it." As strange as it was, it was a pretty intimate moment for Rhoan and her team. She was getting better at speaking what she felt, and what she thought, especially to her team. Yeah, Pokemon were tools, but the better you treated them, the longer they'd last. Packing up her stuff, Rhoan situated everything on the back of Ares once more and hopped up onto his back with the Farfetch'd. "Next stop is Sylvester. Let's go."Exiting to Shady Glen

Parting ways with Sylvester, Catherine had begun tracking down the lost Farfetch'd but out of everyone and everything in the forest, it was likely going to be the avians finding her. Not the best with directions, for now, she was relying on Atlas, pointing in random directions from the safety of her shoulder. Passing over fallen log, hopping over brambles and tripping on the occasional twig, her attire wasn't exactly the most suitable but she was coping for now. "P-Phew! All of this stuff feels like an obstacle course!" Travelling along, the dirt path began to fade and with it, her ankles began to tread through a field of wild fern. The trees became sparser too, luminous rays of sunlight beaming down through the foliage and creating the most mesmerising sight. Standing still on the spot for a moment to take in the new area, a soft smile spread across Catherine's face. "I have never been through a forest before, this is going to be fun! Look at how pretty it is!" Nodding slowly, Atlas appeared to feel right at home.
Stepping forward, the young girl continued her progression, constantly looking around for even the faintest inkling that a Farfetch'd had been through the area. With the amount of Pokemon that lived here, it was likely that any footprints had already been covered by something else and if it happened to drop any feathers, the floor was so thick with plants that it was barely possible to see. "So, we are looking for sleepy Pokemon and one with red boots! Sounds kinda bizarre to me but it's what we have to work with for now!" An idea or two popping into mind over what Pokemon Sylvester could've been describing, she couldn't be certain until she actually laid eyes on it. For now, she continued to take her time exploring the area, in hopes that she had become lucky right off the bat.

This part of the Ilex forest was astoundingly beautiful, a deluxe green landscape with warm sunlight and a bit humid atmosphere, soothing chirping and buzzing of wild Pokemon, soft and tangible soil on the ground, complete with a quiet and calm sound system without vrooming vehicle noise pollution or blabbering humans trying to sell you a Togetic raincoat. Cathering and Atlas continued walking in the area, and eventually they could see, in a distance, a Farfetch'd and a green Pokemon playing, who seemed to be camouflaged by the foliage. The two Pokemon seemed to be playing a friendly game of tug-o-war, using the Farfetch'd stick as the toy. The green Pokemon turned out to be a Tangle, who was grabbing the normal sized stick with all the vines, trying to make the flying Pokemon lose in this game. Both Pokemon seemed to be enjoying their time and laughed, and suddenly the grass type exerted a huge force to pull the Farfetch'd toward it, making the bird lose. The two laughed for a few seconds, before the Farfetch'd using its sharp eyes to detect a human walking near them. The Tangela quickly returned the stick back to the bird, and then leaped away and out of sight. The Farfetch'd grabbed the stick readily, knowing exactly what the human was coming here for, and preparing to put up a fight and not going back to cut woods all day.

The battle with the Farfetch'd ended the way Catherine had hoped but maybe with a bit more battling than anticipated. Slowly by surely, the avian realised the power of her Blissey and tossing it's pride to the side, gave in. After being hit by the second Ice Beam, the bird had no choice other than physically crawl towards Catherine as a way of begging her to stop. Luckily, Catherine was a nice girl and smiled understandingly. "Are you giving in, little Farfetch'd? That's good! Now we can move on to the next one!" Stretching out her arms, the young nurse smiled as a ray of sunlight peeped through the branches and touched her skin warmly. "Then we can return you to Syl, he is really worried, you know!" About to walk on, Catherine made a brief pause and turned back to the captured Pokemon. It had been weakened and was probably going to struggle trekking through the forest. Smiling warmly, she came up with an idea, not considering that it would probably frighten the poor bird. "Yumina! Would you hold onto the Farfetch'd for me? I don't want it to get lost!"
Smiling, the Blissey stepped over the Farfetch'd, who turned with a face of horror. After almost being made into an ice sculpture because of this thing, the last thing it wanted was to be held by her. From his angle, he watched as a horrifying shadow cloaked the face of Yumina as she bent forward to lift it up, the duck practically fainting at the sight. Unaware that she was frightening to the bird, Yumina began to try to shake the Farfetch'd awake whilst Catherine got her bearings. "Hmm. I am pretty sure we came from that way so let's go this way!" Losing which way she had travelled in from, the girl soon found herself walking around in circles, not leaving Luminous Vale at all!

With Catherine's sense of direction being a less than amazing, it meant that she was going nowhere fast. Wondering around the very same stretch of forest over and over, it was perhaps surprising the young budding nurse was unaware she was treading over familiar ground. Ilex was a sprawling forest but with the amount of walking she was doing, surely even she would realise it odd the place had not changed to another segment. Nevertheless, with her constantly going round in circles, it piqued the interest of a nearby creature which was affixed immobile to a nearby tree stump. Just barely able to get a good view of what was going on, the cocoon like creature, a Silcoon, was completely confused by this strange state of affairs. Round and round and round and round this girl and her Pokemon had gone. Was it a trainer's method of trying to confuse it into yielding? Surely not. The Silcoon at this point was fairly certain it had not been spotted otherwise there would be more of a confrontation. Wriggling around slightly, the Pokemon was uneasy at this young girl's presence. The sad fact was however, it was completely unable to do anything. Because it's cocoon shell had been merged with the bark of the tree it was stuck to, it meant it had no chance of escape lest it was able to perform a miracle and evolve then and there on the spot. Clenching its eyes shut, the Pokemon decided its best bet was to remain perfectly still. With any luck, it'd go unnoticed or better yet, the young girl would find her way and vacate this part of the forest. Encounter

Hoping to aid the Silcoon in evolving, it seemed both Catherine and Ayesha did very little to actually help. Using her not so delicate, sparkling fairy wind to knock the cocoon Pokemon down from it's hiding place, the poor bug went crashing down to the floor and after the heavy thump, did little to retaliate. Blinking her wide eyes, Catherine exchanged looks with Ayesha, who looked a lot more concious over what she had just done. "I wonder if... The Silcoon is okay?" Catherine questioned slowly, watching as her Pokemon began to float over. The feeling of guilt flooding the little fairy, she approached the area where the Silcoon had fell, very quickly spotting the stark white creature. With a bit of hesitation, the Flabebe prodded her opponent once or twice but flinched backward when there was next to no response. "Ayesha! Is everything okay?!" Skipping forward with both Atlas and Yumina in tow, the group approached the fallen bug and gave a moment of pause.
"I-It'll evolve anytime soon, right? P-Pretty sure it'll happen now..." Trailing off, silence reigned once again until it was made certain that Catherine had done very little to actually help the poor Silcoon. Giving her thanks to Ayesha, the aspiring nurse withdrew the Flabebe back into her Pokeball and with a kneel to the forest ground, began to give the fainted creature some first aide. Using her healing knowledge, Catherine quietly treated the Silcoon before propping the cocoon back up against the tree. "There... Hopefully it'll wake up again soon. I really hope it evolves soon!" Readjusting her bag, the girl glanced over her shoulder one last time before continuing on ahead. Not walking too far, she continued to look around for the second Farfetch'd, even though she was in the completely wrong area from the hint that Sylvester had given her. Oh well, maybe she would be able to find a new Pokemon to add to her team!

Continuing to walk in this beautiful forest landscape, Catherine proceeded the hunt for the second Farfetch'd. The forest was ordinarily green and brown everywhere, and perhaps the Farfetch'd would camouflage itself. Or rather, it wasn't here at all. The area was mostly quiet besides the occasional Taillow chirping or flying above, where the Taillow seemed to be having fun chasing each other in the sky and completely ignore the human. Well, in the lower altitudes, a group of Ledyba was flying and collecting berries with their multiple arms. They were flying faster than Catherine could walk, turning and dodging obstacles ranging from a tree, a tall plant, to other moving Pokemon. One of the Ledyba in the group was a young one, and when it noticed Catherine walking, it got distracted. Turning its head toward Catherine, it stared from a distance, making eye contact with the trainer. In its distraction, it dropped its berry, which was quickly stolen by a hungry, hopping Taillow. When it realized what it did, it had lost its group already! The Ledyba was shameless though, even if Catherine saw the whole process of the insect being distracted, dropping the berry, and its group flying away, The curious bug continued staring at Catherine, and then slowly flew closer to examine this unusual human creature, and fluttered left and right to get better view of the woman's face. What was this human?

Walking across the area of Luminous Vale still, Catherine stopped for a short moment to give both herself and Pokemon a small break. "Ah! This forest is so pretty!" She exclaimed with a gentle smile as she checked over her team. Atlas was still sitting alert on the aspiring nurse's shoulder, his head turning every now and again at even the faintest sound of movement. The depth of the forest reminded him of his old home back in Unova but he didn't feel homesick in the slightest. Instead, he was more nervous of wild Pokemon springing upon them. Yumina, her Blissey was also looking around innocently whilst still clinging onto the first Farfetch'd in order to make sure it didn't try to escape. Even if she, herself, was resisting the urge to dash off and explore. Curious about what lurked deeper, even she could tell that they had been going around in circles. Still, neither mentioned anything as the girl stood back up to continue her walking.
All of a sudden, Catherine froze in her tracks, as her emerald green eyes widened at the sight of a hoard of Ledyba up ahead. "Woah! Look at them go!" Watching in awe as they flew inbetween the trees, all clinging onto berries, she noticed one split from the group... And came straight towards her! Not frightened in the slightest, she remained on the same spot, looking just as intrigued by the bug as it did of her. "Hello little Ledyba!" She greeted with a huge grin. Her Pokemon a bit more on edge incase a battle were to start, both of Atlas and Yumina looked across to one another, both were surprised when she suddenly stepped forward. "You should catch up with your friends, Ledyba! We're travelling through this forest. Heehee, maybe we'll see you again!" Lifting a hand and waving to the bug, there was no doubt she would see it again in the future if she didn't hurry up and make some progress.
