As Freyja and her Pokemon made their way through the Twilight Glade a cackling sound emanated from a tree up ahead. Seconds later a purple mist started to form around them before the mist took the form of a ghost type known as Shuppet. The small specter was in no mood for talking as it started to build up a weak charge of electricity to strike Teddiursa with however it underestimated the speed at which the cub Pokemon could move. Within seconds the specter found itself locked in the jaws of the bear Pokemon who refused to let go no matter how much it thrashed about. A moment later the specter started to fade away as it's eyes closed before turning back into a purple mis retreating deeper into the forest leaving no trace of it's existence behind. The path up ahead was now clear for Freyja and her team to continue on with their journey. Shuppet appeared and was soundly defeated by Teddiursa. Teddiursa gains 1 level and is now level 23.

The crackling of electricity was all Freya heard before the gathering mist faded away. Teddiursa was surprisingly competent. That said, she was Adrian's pet project. Being able to hit hard was the real name of the game when it came to this little bear's move set, and it showed. Crunch, Close Combat, Sword's Dance...and well now Slash. It packed a mighty punch for something so small. And she was a perfect, feisty little ghost slayer.
Topaz eyes softened as she crouched to pat the little bear.
"Have you two been companions very long?" Lola asked fondly. "I have only rarely seen teddiursa. They are not the most common pokemon despite being native to Johto. And those that have them seem to find them as cute pets rather than a battler."
"No, we haven't honestly. I'm helping train her, but she isn't really mine."
"No?"
Freya shook her head, her smile gentle, "I have been on a pokemon journey before, just so you know. I became a champion trainer in Paldea where Teddiursa are fairly common compared to here. Though even there I rarely saw anyone train them. But I have read books...apparently, in the distant past, their evolutions would become stronger under the full moon. No one is sure what triggered the change exactly, but all reports came from the Sinnoh region, so many have come to the conclusion that there is something in the soil...or some sort of sediment or such that has since been covered."
"Stronger how?"
"Like an evolution," Freya explained. "It was called Ursaluna."
"Do you hope this little one will become that some day?"
Freya grinned, "If I could prove that Ursaluna still exists and that it is not some creature of myth, then I sure would do just that. Heck, if I did that, Adrian might just let me keep her then!"
"Adrian?"
"He's the one who I am training Teddi for. For room and board, I help train pokemon he sends me from his daycare. He's a pokemon breeder. And he can't possibly train every single pokemon he sees potential in. And I don't mind. He's sent me a couple of pokemon with some interesting moves they normally don't learn, like this teddiursa...and a marill with belly drum, waterfall and aqua jet."
"Sounds interesting?"
"It is, though I haven't really been able to fully explore her move set as much as I've wanted...I think if properly trained, she could totally take out Whitney all by herself."
Oh, look at that, as they were talking and walking they reached the edge of the Glade. — Word Count; 430 | OOC:Heading to the Majestic Grove! (Adding an NPC to my journey for flavor)

Would he ever see this forest in ideal weather conditions? It was quite pretty hear in the booklets, but as he hurried on through, everything was hazy from the stupid sand that coated everything. Disgusting. Ace kept an eye on everything from above but her tawny wings were almost invisible in the sepia haze. She was quite stealthy as she was right now...rather unintentionally. Silas kept moving, hurrying along with his face covered, a hand shielding his eyes from any flying debris. He wanted out out out. This darkened glade would not stop his journey ever onwards.
Just keep walking.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion : On | Time: Day
Light filtered through the canopy overhead, casting brightness through the canopies to the ground below. The once long shadows like titans lying in wait were reduced to mere miniscule beasts in comparison. Some trees propagated along the way, though most of the terrain remained firmly overtaken by large sedges and long blades of wild dropseed grasses that scattered through the terrain. Strange chrysalises of yellow and pinkish hues nestled between tall sedges whose tips sprouted bright pink and purple hues.
Zaiden pressed on, feet aching for a break. His rich chocolate hues searched through the tangle of wild grasses and large weeds whose heights sometimes towered his own, though most only tickled his thighs. Goshikka blended into the long stalks poorly, her hand chasing them about as she scratched and clawed her way through. She was not a creature who knew her way through such a massive overgrowth of vegetation, whose reaches clamored seemingly forever with no scattering of leaf litter or tangle of thick roots to stagnate their growths.
Moyashi blended seamlessly, pressed between two large sedges in a nearly immobile position. When a small green arachnid crawled closer, long vines seized it up and allowed her to gobble her prey with ease. Before Zaiden could think to utter a word of difference to her plans, the deed was done, causing his jaw to instead drop upon the floor in a wide gape as surprise overtook his form. “Moyashi…!” Zaiden complained, slowly closing his mouth with a shake of his head. Was she only working on instinct? How, then, would it be fair to scold her for her actions?
Instead, he turned and nodded, causing his troupe to keep close surveillance as they pressed on. “The bug had it coming to him.” Moyashi grinned wide enough that at the right angle, it would appear as though her mouth was splitting her head into two seven pieces. Gena scattered in haste, sometimes yelping as one of Moyashi’s vines nearly seized her ‘accidentally’. “And so, with a brave heart, the young bug trudges on! She’s seen her fair share of deaths along this arduous trek, and only prays to Genesect that she may yet find the end in sight to her troubles!” She narrated along the way.
Goshikka scoffed, little arms still working tirelessly at the tall grasses around her. “Until the Blineried gets you!” She called to Gena menacingly, causing the small creature to scurry up the blade of a long perennial weed. When Moyashi sent one long vine in haste to seize her, Gena jumped, landing on a different blade of grass a few paces away. “You both stop it now!” She chastised. “The villains of this world, known as a single carnivorous plant and a strange looking Psychic-type Pokémon, tried in vain to scare our little hero. It wouldn’t work, however, as she kept the power of resolve strong within her heart!”
Gena would hop down and scurry off just as quickly, leaving Moyashi to chase after her eagerly. “That’s what you think now!” Goshhikka cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted after both of her companions. She quickly raced off, feet making quick work to carry her through the tall grasses, in her need to keep up with her team. Zaiden laughed, watching his Pokémon seemingly ‘playing’ with each other in the tall grasses the proliferated the open glade. “Be careful not to hurt her!” He warned Moyashi as soon as she seized Gena with one of her long vines, causing the Bellsprout to drop her would-be prey instead.
