Sharada clenched her hand into a fist at the words coming from Harolds mouth. Sure, she was using a baby but it was just as strong as any other Pokemon and how was she going to grow without experience in the first place. Realising the drunkard was getting her overly wound up, she made a small laugh of her own, rubbing the tip of her nose with her finger. If he thought Togepi was such a baby, then it'd be interesting for him to beat her. Perhaps it would make Togepi see fighting a bit more of a serious matter rather than a game.
It appeared her thoughts had hit reality as one of her knees suddenly gave way, causing Sharada to flop to the floor. Cringing at Togepi who wobbled sadly up next to her, she began to chirp apologetically. Forcing a smile despite the sudden pain, Sharada began to pat her head gently to reassure her she was alright, "Get out there will ya?" With an angry chirp, Togepi used her special psychic attack, whittling away at Tyrogue's mind and causing it to fall to the floor.
With her knees feeling a little better, Sharada struggled back to her feet after the harsh impact, watching Harold as he continued to slide down the tree in a failed attempt to climb it. Snarling her nose, she yelled out to him, "Give it up already! A stupid old man like you cant climb, so get over yourself!" With a unimpressed hmph, she turned back to the battle. Tyrogue was still pounding the floor in pain, it was about time to get rid of Harold, "Extrasensory again Togepi! The fate of all the happy little Hoppip rest with you!"

The jibes needling at Harold's state of mind were not helping in the slightest. "WHO are YOUUU to poke fun at me, huh?! I just wanna get them Hoppips back!" He looked up and pounded his chest. "I'LL GET CHA BACK! ALL OF YOUS!" They all chirped with surprised fear and huddled together just that little bit more. Turning his attention back to the little hatchling, Harold shook his head. "You should'a left it back in preschool! Tyrogue, Low Sweep!" Tyrogue nodded and dashed forward at Togepi. Harold may have been a miserable old bum but he loved his Pokemon and frequently took them to dojos that would visit from overseas. Because of this, Tyrogue was equipped with an exotic move hailing all the way from Unova! It divided forward and with its foot, dabbed Togepi on the side of the leg, causing it to wobble over. Tyrogue back flipped over to where Harold was and looked at the Togepi. It was somehow still alive but it had damaged its leg severely enough it would be nowhere near as fast. Just as it smiled confidently in its ability, its face soon turned to horror as it realised that as Togepi was still alive and kicking, it had its turn of the round to hit back. Bracing itself, the small tenacious fighting Pokemon seemed to shove its hands into its pocket and hold onto a fiery looking bit of cloth. Togepi focused its brain's muscles and soon tapped into the psychic world. As it did, Tyrogue was blasted with a number of psychic hits that left its body reeling. All the while it still clutched onto its cloth and amazingly survived the hit. Harold couldn't quite believe his luck and clapped frivolously. "Well done mah boy! WELL DONE! Hahaha! That was worth its weight in notes!" Harold had equipped his Pokemon with a Focus Band and managed to survive the hit. The next round would surely determine the outcome. Trainer Battle

As the Tyrogue took a sweep of the area with it's leg, the amount of damage it caused to her little Togepi caused her to panic, "T-Togepi!!" About to dash over to her, she watched as the little egg staggered back to it's feet, chirping to Sharada as if telling her to stay back. The feeling of guilt shrouded over her as Togepi prepared her attack, a similar scene reoccurring to the Tyrogue. Only, it wasn't defeated. It seemed to be hanging in there by the skin of its teeth which made matters even worse for her.
Looking back to Togepi, she grimaced at the poor state it was in. Not wanting to take the chance of victory away from the hatchling, Sharada pulled out a rather large healing potion and approached the small egg. Kneeling to the ground, she began to spray the bottle across the shell of Togepi, any scratches starting to heal at an amazing rate. With the bottle empty and Togepi seeming to be fully recovered, Sharada shot her a happy thumbs up, "Let's try and finish it off with another Extrasensory, hm? I know you can do this, I believe in your the most." With an affectionate pat, Sharada stepped away from Togepi, hoping that she will survive the double whammy she was most likely going to now recieve.
OOC: Sorry, not too happy at the moment so it's even worse than usual. Used; x1 Max Potion

Harold raucously clapped his hands together excitedly as he poked his tongue out the side of his mouth and did some sort of drunkenly dance that got him incredibly excited. "Ohohohohohahahahaha! We've got you now! Your brat is slower AND we have a priority move...!" He looked down to Tyrogue and commanded the attack. "Mach Puch!" Before it could attack, Sharada stepped into the battlefield, an automatic time out. The healing spray that was administered to Togepi was an absolute miracle. The hatchling was back to full health and it had overcome the worst of its injuries. Hopping back, Tyrogue was then able to take his shot. He sped forward with peerless speed and struck its fist right in the centre of Togepi's chest. It was a bit more resilient this time around and managed to stop itself from going flying. At this point, Harold was panicking. "UH OH! All that money on liquor and focus bands that... Oh c'mon... Where is it..." He patted his pockets and gulped. "MY BRIEFCASE!" The bumbling idiot had only gone and thrown it away back when he was facing Sharada's Buneary with his Snubbull. Regretting his mistake, he fell to his knees and shook his head at the floor. "I've let'cha down... *hic* Tyrogue... Just go all out, Brick Beak it!" Tyrogue nodded, it knew it may very well survive having just being healed but it was going to go all out with its last blow. It leapt forward, striking its right arm out as flatly as possible. As it came crashing forward the Tyrogue imagined the Togepi to be a pile of bricks. Just as it had done so many times before in training, the Tyrogue closed its eyes and visualised doing his practice once more. Togepi looked up and closed its eyes, falling on its back from looking upwards too far. It laid there, wiggling trying to get back on its feet. Instead the Brick Break hit the Togepi's shell. It crashed it into many tiny pieces and left Togepi with only a few shards left. Had it not been for the Pokemon's imbalance, things would have ended in tears. Instead, the only tears that would be shed would be in Harold's corner. Togepi got back on its feet with new added mobility and its eyes were now ablaze with an intense psychic power. It closed them, visualising the psychic world in its mind. Reaching out, its used its extrasensory powers to strike at Tyrogue's weaknesses. It only took one blow but to be sure the little baby Pokemon kept going; it'd had enough. Tyrogue groaned out with every hit until it eventually fell backwards and fainted. Harold look to his fainted partner's body and cradled it. "Some day this has been...! *hic*" He started ignoring Sharada and her team along with the Hoppips and had lost the battle. Trainer Battle

Maybe the effects of losing most of its outer protective shell in battle had meant it was too much for the Pokemon to go on in life with but before any further pondering could be given, Togepi was engulfed in a brilliant array of light that covered the vicinity in its awe inspiring brightness.

The sight of the sad man weeping once more on the ground caused her to flinch. What was this feeling? Was she feeling sorry for him? No, she couldn't, he was attacking all these Hoppip for no reason and had spoken in the most rudest way possible to her. Those few unanswered facts alone were able to make him a rude and guilty man, unanswered being the central word. He was far too drunk to actually explain himself but even if he were to sober up now, would he have a valid reason for going all out and attacking even her?
It was now the painful moment of truth as Tyrogue began lashing out two helpings of his super effective moves. Sharada knew this wasn't going to end lightly and if anything, Togepi will literally be just about hanging in there. With another painful looking punch to the chest, the innocent Togepi rolled onto her back, wiggling helplessly as the fighting type moved into his next stage. Jumping high into the air, the landed a smack down to the small egg, her shell crumbling to a pile on the ground.
Whilst Togepi carried on fighting, Sharada dropped to her knees after witnessing the shattering of Togepi's egg, her fragile body on display. She was trying to hard... Why did Sharada have to use Togepi? She looked so bare without her cute little shell. A few small tears began to swell in her eyes, it was so unlike her to have such a strong emotion of guilt tossed right in her face, it all happened so quickly. Trying to regain her composure, it took Sharada a while to realise that she had indeed won the battle and now her little Togepi was beginning to glow a bright light. Had she passed on now her shell had been shattered? With a sad sniffle, Sharada reached out a hand, "Togepi... Dont leave me!" But it was far too late, Togepi's once shell like outline was beginning to morph into something else!
OOC: Nah, leaving Follow Me.

Touched by its trainers love and kind heartedness, Togepi, between the bursts of light that could be seen emerging from its body seemed to smile and cheerfully cry out to her as it waved its hand. Almost as if it was doing one last Metronome for old times sake for Sharada. The light was becoming a lot fiercer now, getting to the point where any foolish attempts to look would result in being blinded temporarily. The odd few glances that were managed showed Togepi was radically changing in size and shape. Was it growing up?! Harold looked on, almost impressed by the sight, it seemed to act as a motivator and spur him on despite life dealing him a bad hand. The Hoppip that were hiding above in the tree were now one giant massive group huddled together and could be heard chirping loudly. Everyone was bearing witness to something incredible. A blinding beam of light surged the vicinity and as it did, the powerful lighting died down, revealing the new form of Togepi. For all of Sharada's love and care, Togepi was nurtured wonderfully and had grown into its adolescent stage. It hopped forward with an amazingly delightful spring to its step and danced around Sharada as if trying to convey how happy it was now that it had grown up. The prancing soon stopped however as Togetic paused upon seeing Harold cradling his Tyrouge. It zipped straight over there and patted the unemployed worker's shoulder reassuringly. With a chirpy cry, Harold looked at it and tilted his head. "You're right... Thank you... I was an idiot." He looked to Tyrogue and was astonished to see the Happiness Pokemon had made it aglow with a fantastic aura, reviving it from unconsciousness. Tyrouge eventually stood up back on its own two feet and thanked Togetic generously. Togetic was revelling in all the happiness and then turned to the Hoppip in the tree above. It stamped its foot down and with a firm shake of its hand with the other on its hip seemed to be telling it off but also imparted happiness with the group as it cheered them right up from their fearful, depressive states. The Hoppips all floated down around Harold and a particularly large one spat out a huge wad of bills! Togetic nodded and fluttered back to Sharada's side, giving Harold a chance to explain. "I-I... Feel so ashamed for acting the way I did. I had been fired from work, my wife walked out on me without letting me say goodbye to my daughter and... and..." He sobbed sadly as he recalled what happened. "...I took out some money from the cash machine when these mischievous little Hoppips stole all of my remaining savings that I was going to spend on getting my little girl a farewell present and just set me off." He looked up to the Hoppips with a sniffle. "That was cheeky of you but thank you for returning it." He counted all the notes to make sure they were there and nodded. "I can get her something now at least. I just wish I hadn't caused so much trouble... Drink is a terrible thing. *sniff*" Sniffling some more he looked to both Snubbull and Tyrogue. "I'm sorry you guys, i'm a bad trainer." They both shook their heads reputedly, they were happy to follow out their trainer's orders as they were merely trying to get back what the Hoppip's had made off with. Stepping forward, Harold took some of the savings he had left on him and grabbed Sharada's hands, placing a couple in her hands gently. "Look, for everything. The trouble, the intense battle... Showing me what happiness truly is. After seeing that I feel renewed! I can win back my wife and daughter! Who needs to be a 5 till 9 office worker anymore! I'll become a fighting dojo master! Woohoo!" With that he took out a red headband that he tied around his forehead with the words "BLAZING SPIRIT!" adorned on the front. With a cheesy thumbs up, he turned his back to Sharada and began chasing off into the distance with his Snubbull and Tyrogue running eagerly after him. The injured Hoppip that was attacked by Harold turned to face Sharada and gave her a wave. It seemed to be wanting to join after team after witnessing how amazing a trainer she really was. It too hoped to experience the same happiness that Togetic had lavished upon her and to also grow stronger. It floated up and down excitedly as it awaited her decision. Considering the recent turn of events, things were looking up for the better. OOC: Updated Togepi to Togetic and added Zephyra to PC... How the heck do I level it up lol? I guess send it out and replace it straight away.
Covering her eyes sadly as the light engulfed around her little baby Togepi, both Buneary and Hoppip stood next to Sharada and stared in wonderment. It seemed they both knew what was happening. Togepi wasn't moving on, she was evolving! As the light died down, she began to wipe her fingertips underneath her eyes, pausing at the sound of a rather energetic Buneary and a unfamiliar cry. Looking up to see what the sudden fuss was about, she was hit with the sight of a new Pokemon skipping happily around her and conversing with Buneary like they had known eachother for ages. Mustering up the energy to speak, Sharada mumbled between her lips, "Could it be?..."
Had a fairy appeared to share out it's blessings? No. Perhaps it was an angel? But it didn't seem like one of those either. Instead, the little Pokemon fluttered over to Harold and began showering him with happiness and incredibly, he became better. Rubbing her eyes in disbelief as Tyrogue lifted itself out of Harolds arms, Sharada had finally realised what had happened. Togepi didn't die because of its loss of it's shell, it had evolved instead! She had heard tales of Togetic being especially rare and when appearing, sharing its happiness with those around it. Had Sharada been lucky enough to now have one of those rare creatures in her possession?
With a blink, she pulled a rather puzzled expression as Togetic began telling the Hoppip off... It was only then where Sharada learnt the true story. Remaining in her kneeling spot on the floor, she listened to the sad story by Harold. The thought of these Hoppip turning out to be thieves would've been one of the last ideas on her mind, she couldn't quite believe what she was hearing. But as a rather chunky Hoppip spat out a rather large sum of money, she had no choice but to belief, "N-no way. That is unbelievable." Shaking her head in disbelief, Sharada stood back to her feet, suddenly feeling something grab hold of her hands.
Surprised as the notes were thrusted into her hands, she gave him a look of uncertainty. She had wrongly accused him but in a way she still didn't regret battling him. The man was on a drunken rampage, which in her mind, had to have been stopped. Swallowing the lump in her throat, she nodded slowly to him, "There is no need to give me this but... Thank you. I'm sure with determination you'll be able to win everything back. Everyone deserves second chances." Smiling at his suddenly pumped up attitude, she watched as he began running off with his two Pokemon in tow. Cupping her hands around her mouth, she yelled out to him, "Good luck, old man! Lots and lots of luck!" Between her calls, Togetic and Buneary were also bouncing about happily, cheering out their regards aswell as the man disappeared off into the direction of New Bark Town.
With a satisfied sigh, Sharada turned to her newly evolved Togetic, holding her arms out welcomely before embracing her, "Togetic, hm? I'm so proud of you! I'll never be sad with something like you with me!" With a cheerful chirp, Togetic tapped her arms against Sharada's forehead, an instant feeling warming up her entire body. It was almost an odd sensation, but either way, the smile couldn't quite escape her face. With the duo looking down to a now excited Buneary, Sharada lifted a hand and gave her a thumbs up, "Now it really is your turn! Let's show Togetic how strong you can become too!" With three overly happy cheers, the small group marched onwards, their spirits so high that they could probably overcome anything what came at them.

Something would soon indeed come at them. The long lasting duel between Harold and Sharada had alerted about every denizen of Route 29 and even grabbed the attention of those living on the outskirts of New Bark Town. One of the many people that had heard the scuffle was a certain youngster in particular. He had just won a match over his long term rival Mikey and was feeling overtly confident in his own abilities. After all, his own pride and joy that was Rattata had single handedly taken down two Pokemon. Not one to mind his own business, he rustled through the bushes and had spied on the tail end of Togepi's evolution into Togetic. The kid was pretty shocked by this, having never seen a Pokemon evolve in his entire lifetime much less something rare as a Togepi; he was used to Pidgeys and Rattatas with the odd Sentret thrown in for good measure. He and his Rattata poked their heads through the foliage as the rather loony man in the suit strutted off with Pokemon in tow. That female trainer was left and youngster Joey began plotting a harebrained scheme in his mind. " Wow she sure is pretty!" With that, he signalled his Rattata and they both stumbled their way out of the bushes. "Yo! Hey there hot stuff, wanna have a date? Huh? Huh? Whaddya say, i'll even pay my own way!" He was coming across as incredibly pathetic, the way he spoke and his pickup line was a bastardised version of likely something from TV. He looked to his Rattata and smiled. "Hey! Hey! HEEEY! My mom says that my Rattata is super strong and waaaay awesome. I don't think you can beat me cause my mom said so but if I can beat you how about we go on a date? Huh? HUUH?" Youngster Joey is being an annoying brat!He sends out Rattata (Level 5) Please select a Pokemon for battle.

Walking a little down the path, a rustling coming from nearby made Buneary began to tap rapidly on Sharada's shoulder, trying to grab her attention at the sound she had just heard. "What is it? Did the old man forget something?... Hm?" Whilst she had turned her head to see Buneary, something in the nearby bushes had caught her attention instead. A young boy and his Pokemon were staring in their direction from the bushes, it was a little creepy. Turning her head to make sure no one was behind her for the slight chance he was looking as something else, she turned back to see he had began to make his way over to her.
The young boy sporting a cap had a little Rattata next to him and seemed to have somewhat of a smile stretched across his face. At first she thought it was a little cute seeing a young trainer with a Pokemon, it was always nice to see even youngsters forming special bonds with the many creatures of the world. But as the words began tumbling out of his mouth, her expression changed to that of one which wasn't all that impressed. "A date, hmm? It wouldn't be much of a date if I were to pay for myself." Sticking out her tongue cheekily at his offering, she gave Buneary a little nudge forwards with her hand, "If you can beat me, perhaps I will consider it." For now, she felt it would be a little bit of fun to play along with his little game, fully knowing that Buneary wouldn't let her down. "Then, how about you start things off with a Pound~"
OOC: Omg my brain is dead lol. So cute though<3

Joey's eyes were filled with a wild excitement. "No way, no way! You are serious?!" He beamed to his Rattata and enthusiastically cheered it on. "Ya hear that Rattata?! We can do this! We just need to beat her Pokemon so hard that she will accept! Come on, come on! We can do this!" This was an absolute first for Joey. Before this chance encounter, Joey had only really spoken with a couple of girls. One classmate and his mother. The fact a totally random stranger was chatting with him, no less than actually considering going on a date seemed too good to be true for the youngster. Throwing caution to the wind he went ahead with his silly fantasy. "My Rattata is in the top percentage! He beat off TWO Pokemon all by himself. He's so strong and and and my mom says that he is the fastest Pokemon she has EVER SEEN!" The kid's excitement was bordering on down right brain numbing. "Quick Attack, Rattata! We'll win no matter what!" Rattata squeaked and was going to try and do its best for its trainer. He had always felt sorry for Joey when he got bullied in school and the rat always felt sorry it wasn't stronger to make Joey happier. The fact it "won" the battle against two of Mikey's Pokemon the other day was a small turn around even if Rattata technically do anything. Nevertheless, it streaked forward at such a fast velocity it almost disappeared from the naked eye. It shoved right into Buneary who let out a small cry at being hit. Pulling itself together, Buneary grabbed the Rattata's tail as it tried retreating and pounded down on its head as Sharada had order. Somehow Joey's Rattata held in there and survived. Barely. Joey gasped with shock but wasn't ready to give up. "RATTATA! We need to do this!" Trainer Battle

Sharada blinked somewhat in surprise at how excited this kid seemed to become. Boys his age were obviously considered 'cool' to go on a date with a girl, but this guy seemed really set on winning. In a way, she felt a little guilty. After all, even if there was a slight chance of him winning, whatever sort of 'date' they went on would feel more like her babysitting him. "Mhmm! Let's see how strong you are then." Not that she was prepared to lose anyway.
With the youngster bragging on about how amazing his Rattata was, Sharada couldn't quite find it in her heart to laugh or anything of the sort at him. Instead, she gave him a look of intrigue as if asking him to carry on. If she atleast pretended to show a little interest perhaps his loss may end up being less painful. Giving a wink to Buneary, she embraced herself for impact, Sharada watching wide eyed as the Rattata began moving at an incredible speed. In a way, her words were actually true, "My, my! What a speedy little Rattata you have there! I'm almost a little jealous!"
The corners of her lips turned into that of a sly grin as it suddenly became Bunearys turn. Grabbing the Rattata's tail, Sharada's eyes remained on Joey's expression as the small rat was given a swift pound to the head. As the Rattata staggered back to its feet with just barely any amount of health left, Sharada let out a genuinely surprised gasp, "W-Wow! He is pretty strong to withstand such a hit!" The youngster still seemed to have a little confidence left after that strong blow. With a slight nod to him, she pointed to the Rattata, "Lets try another Pound, Buneary!"

The lavish praise he was receiving about his Rattata being fast stroked Joey's ego to no end. His mother had always told him so and now that a stranger was backing up this claim MUST HAVE made this true. "Hey! Hey! Wanna see something really cool?! I can make him go even faster! Rattata! Impress 'em and show them why you're in the top percentage. Go, go, go!" The way he energetically bounced about betrayed that the kid might have either been high on sugar or suffering from an extreme form of ADHD. He was so wrapped up in trying to impress this girl likely twice his age that he had totally overlooked the fact his beloved Rattata was on its last legs. Despite the head concussion, the faithful rodent went ahead anyway with the command. It began charging forward but at random intervals seemed to change its position entirely as it closed in nearer. It was now so fast that the naked only could only hope to see a faint blur. Buneary wasn't too clued up either and when the Rattata bounded into it, the rabbit was taken entirely by surprise. It rolled backwards with the Rattata getting tumbled up with it and eventually landed far away from the battlefield. Rattata began slowly retreating backwards with a limp and for the most part seemed as if Buneary wasn't going to be getting back up. It had been hit so hard that it surely had to be a critical! Eventually the Buneary came back to its senses and hopped back up on the spot. That purple rat was seriously going to pay. As Rattata bravely did its best to return to its trainer's side, Buneary hopped after it in hot pursuit. Joey began to panic and gave the Pokemon a warning. "No, no, nooo! Watch out, threat from the low percentile comin' at you!" Heeding his words, Rattata turned its head to see where Buneary was but was smacked right in the teeth, causing it to roll over and fall unconscious. Joey let out a surprised gasp and couldn't quite believe it. "Huh?! HUUUUUH?! That's no fair...!" The guy was out of Pokemon entirely and his chances of winning for the date had gone up in smokes. "Awww... Dang..." He recalled Rattata back and seemed kinda cheerful. Trainer Battle
Joey's Rattata | Level 5 | Health : 0% (0/19)Status : Normal Hey wait! This really isn't supposed to happen. I was supposed to win, you know? Rattata is way stronger than that bunny thing. Actually... No wait! Rattata has been feeling really ill lately so he wasn't fighting and was holding back because your Pokemon's a girl and oh I also held back because you're a girl too. Yeah. That's right. Buneary | Level 11 | Health : 50% (18/36) Status : Normal So long kiddy! Victory!
Your Buneary fought courageously and has levelled up! It went up by 1 level and is now Level 12! It also earned +2 Happiness! He trudged over dejectedly and looked to Sharada. "Awww that's too bad. I should've unleashed my top percentage attack but that would have destroyed everything in the area." He kicked a pebble by his foot and shrugged slightly. "Me and Rattata are only saving that for special emergencies." He dug into his pockets and handed her what seemed to be pocket money. "Here! So you can treat yourself to some fries. I so wish I could follow you though! My friend Mikey would be SO jealous if he saw me with a hot girl like you." He tilted his head to the side and sighed. He looked around and then begged as best as he could. "OH PUHLEASE! Lemme just hang around with you. I get so bored and i'll only follow ya in this route! I promise!" It seemed Sharada had obtained an annoying pest to follow her around. Do you feel bad for taking a kid's pocket money? Yes? WELL TOO BAD! Youngster Joey hands you £200 for your flawless victory.

The youngster's Rattata was really packing a punch to Buneary that round. The powerful Quick Attack had really caught her off guard but just as the female trainer thought, herself and her team came out on top. "Great work Buneary!" Sharada called out, the small rabbit hopping with glee back to her owner, jumping right into her arms and recieving a great amount of fuss. Leaning out to Togetic, she held up a paw, happily high fiving the floating Pokemon before conversing with excitement.
Almost feeling like a bully as she watched the youngster trot over to her sadly, she winced at the sight of him scraping together some money from his pocket. She had been in situations like this before but in more of a negative sense. Back home she was picked on quite a bit but since this was just a normal thing at the end of very battle it didn't quite matter as much, or did it? Pulling an uncertain face, she politely took the money away from him, not really wanting to look him in the eye, "You did a great job, kid. I hope your Rattata will grow even stronger. Heh, perhaps I'll visit back here in the future."
On that note, she was pretty much suggesting that she was going to part ways here. Only, she found herself frozen on the spot at his suggestion of following here. Sharada wasn't great with most people, let alone little kids whose mouth ran at one hundred miles per hour. But even so, this kid wasn't as bad as some others could be. Remaining silent as she pondered about his words, her eyes looked to both Buneary and Togetic as if asking for their input. Togetic was as excited as ever, always welcoming company whilst Buneary merely shrugged. The route was a little long and really, they had only just started it. With a sigh, she turned to him, not wanting to leave him hanging for much longer.
"Tell ya what, you can follow me to the end of this route and then I'll have something of mine drop you off back to this spot." Patting a hand on a Pokeball secured to her belt, the one Pokemon she could've been talking about was Horus. The royal creature wouldn't but all too happy with a little boy on his back but there was always a way to convince him with food or something along the same lines. With the temporary new addition to her team, Sharada decided it would be best to strike up a bit of conversation. Looking over to him as he walked a distance beside her, Sharada's eyes began to wander in hope of seeing some more Pokemon rustling in the trees. "So, what's your name then, squirt? " Before he had the chance to answer she butted in again, "Mine's Sharada. I travelled here from Hoenn, so sorry if my accent is a little funny, haha."
OOC: Wow, browser *****ed up on me so I had to type it out again. So sorry if this screams I cant be arsed.

Taking off his cap to scratch his head at Sharada's words, he listened intently and resumed his cap wearing as she finished. "Sha-ra-da? That's a funny name! I've not heard that before! I also don't know where Hoenn is. Are you sure ya not kiddin' me to brush me off?" He did his best to judge if she was genuine or not but in the end shrugged it off and introduced himself. He straightened out his cap and proudly stuck out his chest and beamed. "I'm Joey! I live nearby here in this route so you could say I come out here to play." He looked down and kicked the ground with his foot. "Too bad nobody really likes to. Except that doofus Mikey!" Happy that she was okay with him tagging along he jumped up on the spot and was over enthusiastic about the whole thing. "Awww yipee! I can't believe it! I got a friend!" He zoomed about, running in circles around Sharada. "Say Shara, hey, hey, hey! Go battle a wild Pokemon 'cause you are super strong. I wanna see what other cool Pokemon you got!" He dashed off and immediately head to the nearest patch of grass. This was never a good idea when your Pokemon had been fainted and not yet received medical attention. Nevertheless, the youngster continued his sprint on ahead with reckless abandon and all the while was blurting out the most random of conversations. "HEY! I love shorts, they're so comfy and easy to wear." "My Rattata is in the top percentage! I keep telling people that but nobody believes me!" Upon entering the grassy wilds of the route, he let out a shout as he bumped into a wild Pokemon. "Woah, woah! Look what I find! It's a Weedle! Say... It looks... Angry... Heh..." He began to get a little uncomfortable at how much of a tantrum the caterpillar Pokemon was throwing. The eyes were burning with rage and a vein was pulsating on the creature's forehead. It appeared that the Weedle had missed out on a nice little feeding session as its eternal rival, Caterpie, had stolen the last good leaf. Joey stumbled backwards and fell on his bottom. "OUCH...! Hey... No wait, don't go for me!" That prominent looking spike on the Weedle's head seemed geared to inflict some pain on the unfortunate kid. "SHARA! HEEEELP!" Encounter
An angered Weedle (Level 2) has appeared! Please select a Pokemon for battle.

The youngster's reaction to her name and unknowing of the land of Hoenn wasn't all that much of a surprise to her. Even Sharada herself found her name incredibly unique and odd, almost to the point where she wished she had something a little more common. Sure, it was nice to have something exotic but half of the time it was pronounced wrong, misspelt or pretty much laughed at. She was hardly going to have a moan at this young lad though, he still had so much to learn. "That's right. Feel free to shorten it or call me whatever you like, as long as it is within reason."
With a laugh, she moved onto explaining Hoenn. Whilst the people around here weren't the most welcoming, the scenery and weather always was. "Hoenn is a distance land beyond the ocean. I'm sure you'll learn about it in school some day." Sticking her thumb up to him happily, she continued, "I never knew Johto exhisted either until I jumped on the nearest ferry. I heard there are many more lands aswell. I dont care about Gym leaders or badges really, I just want to explore."
After hearing his name, Sharada jumped about fifty feet into the air. That name always brought her bad luck, despite the face being one she often liked to see, "J-Joey?!" Calming down at her reaction she began to laugh, how silly she must've looked. "I know another Joey aswell. He's a little older than me, a biker dude with blonde her." Her eyes seemed to wander off into the distance as if in a daze and she wore a smile only suggesting what she had happy memories of the thief, "He was my first friend here in Johto..." She began to mutter unhearable words and seemed to float into her own little world, clinging tighter and tighter onto Buneary as she thought more about it, completely forgetting about the younger Joey next to her.
With flustered cheeks and a suffocating Buneary bound by Sharada's tight embrace, it took a mere scream to suddenly break her out of it. Looking around in surprise, she realised the little squirt wasn't next to her anymore and instead was about to be stung by a rather angry looking Weedle! "JOEY!" She called out, Buneary bouncing out of Sharada's arms to take care of the poison type. Rushing to the youngsters aid, she ordered a move to the rabbit, "Use Pound! Hurry!"
