Rhoan walked alongside Tyrana, who held onto her tail momentarily to check and make sure her fire was still glowing strong. After all, she had to be at the top of her game with Rhoan. She was finicky, and only wanted the strongest Pokemon. Tyrana didn't want to fall behind when it came to training. Rhoan was silent the whole walk, minus a grunt here or there if she almost tripped or stepped on an uncomfortable rock. Alot was going through her head. The Violet City Gym, the gym challenge itself, and her Pokemon. She needed something a bit 'more' to get her through the gym. Perhaps...
Stop here. We're going to do some more training. She said, and Tyrana gave a swift nod. At least now they had a chance to rest and only one pokemon would battle at a time. Granted, none of the other Pokemon had to necessarily do anything other than Tyrana. But that was her choice. She wanted to be as strong as possible, and if that meant walking everywhere with her trainer, so be it. She'd walk with her trainer everywhere. That is, until she could fly.

Tyrana's sentiments about following her trainer to the end's of the earth by flying in the distant future would perhaps be granted sooner than the fire salamander had anticipated. As they stopped to take a good view of the route before them, it appeared the weather had a sudden change in temperament. Without so much a drop of a hint, the winds themselves picked up with an incredible howl as they swiftly gushed through the sprawling route. Trees were sent swaying in all manner of directions; some of the less sturdier trees bending outright to the overwhelming forces assaulting them. The grass and other vegetation were all wrapped up in a similar fate. Although firmly routed, they were manipulated to frenetically move around as if their life depended on it. It was an awe inspiring sight and if it were to get any more powerful, it wasn't too far out of the realms of possibility that Tyrana might go waltzing up in the sky along with the course of the wind. Unluckily, one such Pokemon from the wild had befallen such a fate. Flying around in the air absolutely terrified out of its wits, a weedy looking plant figure was at the wind's mercy without any hope of this traumatic experience ending any time soon. Noisily crying out with a trumpet like wail, the Pokemon itself was none other than a Bellsprout, clearly uprooted from its habitat and lifted by the winds thanks to its insignificant weight. As if almost tiring of terrorising the Bellsprout, the gale force winds relented for a spare few moments, causing the Bellsprout to correspond with the laws of gravity. As it fell, it closed its eyes knowing full well it was going to land out of the frying pan and into the fire as it hurtled towards the boisterous looking huntress and her Charmander. Why couldn't leave ever be simple for this Bellsprout? Encounter

Rhoan snorted, looking around. It had taken a while, but finally some Pokemon had shown it's face. It was weak though, and nothing Rhoan wanted to get her hands on. Tyrana studied the Pokemon, eyes unblinking. It was a grass type? The simplest thing would be to put Tyrana in and get rid of the nuisance before they continued. Perhaps find some stronger Pokemon? Rhoan was thinking the same thing, and looked down at her pocket which held the other Pokeballs. Tyrana was already out, so...
Alright Tyrana, you're up. She said. Her gruff tone made Tyrana smirk. She was warming up to the trainer. For a mean little Charmander, Rhoan was the perfect owner. Rhoan was the only thing Tyrana had met that was meaner than her own self, which complemented their battle styles well. Pure offense. Burn it. Flamethrower. She commanded, and it was done. Tyrana tilted her head back and released mighty flames towards the plant Pokemon.

Closing its eyes once more as it saw what was about to unfold, the Bellsprout cursed its luck thoroughly. Not only had the wind made matters insufferable but it was now likely be unable to get away with its life intact. As it cursed, part of its anger fell upon itself. It seemed to be regrettable that it wasn't stronger otherwise it'd be enjoying the warmth and sanctuary in the hallowed Sprout Tower. For the monks of the said landmark, this Bellsprout had proven far too weak for even their needs. Bitterness still ruminating, the fires which erupted forth from Tyrana's mouth were unrelenting and paid little mind to the swirling winds which were sweeping the route. Reaching its target in no time at all, it lit up the weedy plant in mere seconds and burnt it to a crisp cinder. Amazingly the attack was blown out in mere seconds thanks to the wind but left behind a charred husk of the Pokemon. With it plopping to the floor and getting tangled in some leaves, it was perhaps time to reflect on the definition of overkill, this case had certainly been a contender for the meaning of the word. Tyrana lifted her head and released the powerful flames from her mouth, and when the dust cleared (literally speaking) the charred remains of the Bellsprout were the only thing remaining on the other side of the field. Tyrana crossed her arms in the same fashion her trainer did, and looked over to the red-headed hunter to see her expression. Surely a quick fight like that would impress the cold-hearted trainer. Rhoan's expression was a simple on, a half smirk followed with a full body turn on her heel, 180 degrees, to search for more victims Pokemon to train with. Tyrana padded along as well, power surging through her body. I'm going to evolve soon. She'll keep me for sure.
Tyrana padded alongside her trainer as she looked for more Pokemon, obviously annoyed nothing was coming out immediately. A pokeball twitched in her pocket, and a bright light shone from the trainer's pocket as a Pokemon formed on the ground beside her. Cayzle cheeped momentarily before shaking his head and blinking, letting his eyes adjust to the light. He was prepared to redeem himself, after his terrible mishap with the ridiculous Chatot, the freak of nature that escaped the pokeball and denied the laws of Pokemon physics. Didn't bother Cayzle though. If it came down to it, Rhoan would destroy the Pokemon herself if it meant levelling and powering up her Pokemon.

It was a simple defeat for the fiery red head and her flaming lizard, a mere Bellsprout being nothing to her than a joke. As her foot steps pressed on through the howling winds and Cayzle now joining the two for a stroll, their victim still remained sprawled out on the floor. Twitching rapidly as steam rose off it's torched body. It took a while for the Bellsprout to recover, it's beady eyes blinking open before loosely flinging it's body forward to sit up. Rubbing the back of it'd bell like head tiredly, the vine creature managed to wriggle itself off the path and into a bush to take shelter whilst it regained some strength. Thinking it was safe, it let out a heavy sigh, only to jump in the air as it came face to face with an angry looking Budew.
After numerous cheeps of anger, the bud felt it had done enough to shake up the Bellsprout, mainly telling it off for not being able to stand up for itself. Obviously it had been watching the battle between the sprout and Tyrana. Still thinking the girl was ooh so rude and ill mannered, the tiny Pokemon felt the need to catch up with her and give her a piece of it's mind. Leaving the Bellsprout crying after being told how weak it was, the Budew jumped out of the bush and began a fast waddle down the path, hopping now and again to use the wind to carry it forward. Looking up as the trio came into clearer view, the Budew began to toss an onslaught of high pitch squeals and whistles to gain Rhoan's attention. It knew it was going to recieve a flamethrower to the face but the poor Budew had convinced itself that it could survive.

A new Pokemon was up for battle, and however excited Tyrana was about fighting, Rhoan was hesitant to put the dragon in on the fight. However, before choosing Xero or Hatari to fight, she had an idea. Perhaps this would work. Last time with the Chatot... it didn't, but Rhoan was a gambler when it came to her Pokemon. Besides, they were replaceable. If Cayzle wasn't going to be able to hold his own, why wait? Tyrana, Scratch it. She commanded. If she got the health down and then switched out Cayzle for Tyrana, she could probably catch this bud Pokemon and Cayzle would get experience, as well as Tyrana. It was worth a shot.

Chirping angrily, the Budew puffed itself up to seem more intimidating to the much larger Charmander. It flinched as Tyrana made to attack, expecting a Flamethrower to the face. Instead, the Budew heard the patter of feet as the Charmander dashed forward. Squeaking in both surprise and relief, the bud Pokemon took off running, managing to keep away from the Charmander by running and catching breezes. The elusive Budew seemed to irritate Tyrana. Every time she came close to catching the creature, a gust of wind would whisk it away. Snarling angrily, she gave a wild slash of her claws, finally catching the Budew. Her fangs bared in a toothy grin, Tyrana swung her arm, catching the Budew on her claws and hurling it to the ground.
Bouncing off the dirt path, the Budew took a moment to collect itself. That attack had hurt. Not to mention the Charmander had decided to test how bouncy the Budew was... Standing on its tiny legs, the Budew shook itself off, puffing up again in anger and annoyance. It really wanted to attack the annoying Charmander, but it had to take a precaution first. The Budew had felt the burn of fire before, and it wasn't eager to feel it again. Summoning up the water within itself, the Budew opened the bulb on its head. Water shot out, coating the tiny Pokemon in a watery coat. Now Fire-type attacks wouldn't hurt as bad. Chirping happily, the Budew hopped forward, as if daring Tyrana to try a Flamethrower now.

Rhoan watched, arms crossed. She had hoped the damage caused by the scratch would have been more. But so far the little thing seemed eager more than anything. Tyrana wanted nothing more than to burst it into flames, despite it's little Water Sport. As if that as going to stop her... Tyrana breathed in, preparing for a flamethrower, but Rhoan stopped her. No. We're going to catch it. She explained, looking at another Pokeball. In a flash, she sent out the Torchic Cayzle. Last time this happened, Cayzle was knocked out. This time, she wasn't going to let anything else happen. I'm going to catch it. If something happens, Night Slash. She growled. She pulled out a Great Ball, and threw it towards the Budew, hoping to catch it for Cayzle's sake.

Squeaking in annoyance as the Charmander backed down, the Budew was taken aback as a Torchic replaced it on the battlefield. The tiny plant Pokemon took in the fiery orange and yellow feathers, immediately thinking "fire". But it had a beak too, so was it flying as well? The Budew immediately shied away from the young bird-like Pokemon, reminded all too clearly of its natural instinct to stay away from birds.
But no, it couldn't run. It had to teach this trainer a lesson. As the Torchic simply stood there, the Budew darted forward, skidding to a halt before the chick. Closing its eyes, it scrunched its body down, before spewing a cloud of golden spores skyward. A half-screech managed its way out of Cayzle's beak before the paralysis set in, freezing the chick in place. The Budew grinned smugly at the trainer, pleased with its handiwork.
It was then that the Budew noticed the Pokeball flying towards it. The bud Pokemon opened its mouth to yelp in panic, but the Great ball had already smacked against it, sucking it in with an uncannily strong force. The Budew struggled to escape, bashing against the sides of its prison. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen! It was supposed to teach that trainer a lesson, not the other way around!
A flash of light engulfs the Pokemon, sucking it inside the red and white orb. Snapping shut, the Pokeball falls to the ground. Rhoan waits in anticipation as the Pokeball rocks on the ground, the wild Pokemon struggling to escape. ... The Pokeball twitches once... ... Twice... ... A third, violent shudder rocks the ball before... A red light flashes on the middle button and the ball is still! Congratulations!Budew joined the party has been captured! Rhoan gazed at the pokeball for a moment before picking it up without emotion and slipping it into her front pocket. It wouldn't be used by her, that was for sure. She was more interested in the aftermath of the battle and her Pokemon. Cayzle seemed to be stronger, and not as weak as he had been before. That was perfectly fine with the hunter. Cayzle looked around before looking up at Rhoan with his doe-like eyes.
However, a flash was obstructing her vision. When she turned, Tyrana was engulfed in a bright light. She was most pleased to see her fire lizard evolving. The smirk widened as the light receded to reveal the dragon herself, glancing down at her claws. She snapped her jaws and glanced at her tail, eyes narrowing with power. Good job. Earned a rest. She praised, and returned the dragon (who was started by the praise). She then continued to look for other Pokemon with Cayzle.

The evolution of Tyrana had attracted many eyes from the Pokemon who remained hidden in the wilderness. Peering out from the shadows, several were in awe over the Charmander growing strong enough to evolve and learn a mighty, powerful move to boot. Even if Tyrana had been an absolute brute, the surrounding Pokemon mostly felt pleased for the Pokemon as it could now reach taller heights. Many wild creatures were often jealous of human trained Pokemon as they could be raised to their fullest potential compared to the ones who were forced to live in the wild. One particular Pokemon, however, was disgusted by the actions of the neighbourhood watchers as their eyes glittered and danced with happiness and hope. Please, Pokemon didn't need trainers at all, some didn't even need to train! Many Pokemon were just naturally strong and this stubborn creature certainly felt that it was a gift to earth from Arceus itself.
Fluttering off a tree branch and onto the dirt path was a lone Pidgey, in the similar style of the Budew it decided to block Rhoan's path. Feeling that it's feathers were nothing more than perfection in the way they grew from it's skin, the Pidgey rather 'kindly' decided to show Rhoan by fluttering out it's chest and spreading it's wings. Trying to intimidate the similarly sized Cayzle, the wild Pidgey thought that this particular Torchic was a sorry excuse of a bird. Pointing it's beak to the air with a hmph, it guessed that it could battle to show this trainer's Pokemon what a real bird could do.
A wild Pidgey (Level 10) has appeared to battle! Please select a Pokemon.

Cayzle saw the Pidgey before Rhoan did, who had her head turned at the last moment, so her uncovered eye wasn't towards the path. However, like the Pokemon before, this bird had blocked their path and was expecting some type of battle. New bird. Cayzle gruffed, getting his trainer's attention. Rhoan turned, hair swishing around to reveal the scar momentarily before it settled. Her eyes narrowed at the Pidgey, and analyzed it. Small, same size as Cayzle, so... probably around the same strength as well.
Alright, Cayzle. She murmured, looking down at the Torchic. It seemed to be picking up some vibes from the bird in the road, and Cayzle was ready to battle instead of pick up the scraps of one. Despite being at a disadvantage, the Torchic was more than willing to fight. Let's do this! He cried out. Rhoan closed her eyes and opened then after a second, giving her Pokemon an order. You can do it. She gruffed as some sort of reassurance in his strength, and gave her attack. Try that Night Slash finally.

Turning it's head ever so slightly back to look at the Torchic once more, it cooed deeply upon the trainer finally turning. That was it, it thought, bask in my beauty compared to your rugged partner. However, neither Cayzle nor Rhoan seemed all that bothered. To them, it was just another common bird, the sight of them making trainers sigh. They were the Rattata of the skies and really, even Spearow were more interesting to look at. Puffing out it's chest upon not hearing a single compliment about it's beautiful feathers, this avian was going to pay them pay. Knowing fully well that this Torchic was going to be it's opponent, the Pidgey cawed mockingly, as if asking the male if he was ready for a lesson in pain. With a single might thrust of it's wings, the Pidgey took to the skies. Only, it didnt go too high or start flying around in circles. It merely hovered there, the beats of it's wings growing faster and faster.
Conjuring up a mighty gust of debris, the minuscule whirlwind like move tore through the space between the Pidgey and Torchic, engulfing Cayzle with little trouble. Feeling his body being lifted up from the ground, he let out a gruff cry as his body was span around in circular motion, being hit with all matter of dirt and air pressure before being dropped back to the ground. Cooing as if mimicking that of a laugh, the Pidgey eased itself back down to the ground, glaring at the puny Torchic and wondered what he would do next. Well, one thing was for sure, he couldnt mess up otherwise Rhoan would cook him alive. Acrobatically jumping back onto his talons, Cayzle turned sharply to face the Pidgey, his own glare casting over the beige bird.
Acting as if no matter what move he would do it wouldnt hurt at all, the Pidgey merely sat there, like a sitting target. That was probably the worst mistake it had ever made. Dashing forward with it's speedy claws, Cayzle lifted itself with a tiny flap of it's nearly non-existent wings, turning in mid air and landing a round house kick straight into the Pidgey's jaw. But that wasnt all, a form of dark matter seemed to ooze from his claws, creating a pain that the Pidgey didn't even know was possible. Plus, to add the cherry on the cake, the damage dealt was through the roof. Spiraling off at the foot connected with it's jaw, the Pidgey was sent back a few paces. Perhaps now it could realise that Cayzle was a worthy opponent despite being a little under the Pidgey's level.

Rhoan watched through almost slanted eyes, attempting to see through the Pokemon, as if to see what they were thinking. There was probably some shrugging off fom the Pidgey. Cayzle was under it's level, so why even bother? It's just a weak little chick. Can't hurt the big bad Pidgey...
That's what Rhoan wanted. Go ahead, underestimate her and her team. It'll be a terrible mistake, perhaps the last one you ever do. So when she saw the shock on the Pidgey's face (if birds could muster up such a thing) it pleased her to no end. The dark attack as well. Good job, Cayzle. She grinned, a rare compliment for her Pokemon. She didn't hand them out wilynilly. They were to be earned.
Perhaps Cayzle would earn another. Rhoan seemed to be in high spirits, and this Pokemon could be easily sold at it's level to new trainers, so why not? Rhoan rummaged through a bag and pulled out a great ball before moving her head in a gesture to Cayzle that meant 'move'. Gonna catch it. If it misses, Night Slash it again. She murmured before chucking the ball towards the bird.
