As Hexxus the Grimer and Mephisto were walking, the route was initially quiet in this time of night at first, besides the sound of other Murkrows cawing loudly, but that sound was soon disrupted by a shrieking sound. "Ewwww... Ew, ew, ew. It stinks here! It's probably some careless human littering here again... Ew!" yelped the young fox, a multiple-tailed Pokemon. The fire type continued walking carefully, turning its head left and right trying to find where that trash was so it could burn it in flames to end it once and for all. In its quest to locate the trash, it eventually found itself turning its head and facing a Grimer. Shocked that such a Pokemon would wander here with a human-- Vulpix wasn't as smart as the dark typed Murkrow-- the furry Pokemon stood on its four and growled, complaining how horrible Hexxus smelled.
A (Level 29) Vulpix appeared! OOC: I hope I read this right, it looks like the Grimer is walking with the Kadabra

As the two schemers made their way forward through the tall grass patches of the route, it was clear that the alliance between them was uneasy as ever. Being the masterful brain behind this elaborate plan, Hexxus clearly fashioned himself as the leader despite not fully owning up to the responsibility and title of it. For the putrid pile of sludge, he was more than happy to pull the strings from behind the scenes. Mephisto too was cut from a similar cloth. However, his delusions grandeur and insufferable God complex meant he was far more adamant in asserting who exactly was the self proclaimed leader. Sans the pulling strings of any would be shadow not in the picture. Despite these differences, their end goals were all too similar for them to fall apart now. It was doomed from the start but this alliance would at least have some impact on the world. As Hexxus slimed through the grass, leaving a disgusting trail in his wake of fetid and corrupted leaves, Mephisto made careful footing to avoid stepping in any of the gunk. " Of course there is much to do. Which is why I would be better working on my own. Do not misinterpret my commitment to this cause. I of all our sortie know that sheer number is needed to thwart that blockheaded fool once and for all." Continuing on their path, the Kadabra leered through his psychic illusion. " Fufufufufu... Little do you know annoying scheiße, that a potential accident is soon to befall you. Not by my hand. But the hands of a feral, evil vulpine. I tried to stop it. But it was too powerful. You were savagely mauled and killed. Gah hah hah. Then I will be the de facto leader of this mission." Having used his powerful psychic ability as a sonar to pick up nearby life forms, Mephisto had long since been aware to the approaching presence of a Vulpix. Sensing its keen nose affected by the foul stench of the Grimer, Mephisto was already scheming a means to off the would be usurper. As they made their arrival to the Pokemon, Mephisto remained perfectly still, keeping up his human guise as he let Hexxus get terribly close. Having been so focused on dealing with Mephisto's words the Grimer was now in close proximity to the snarling Vulpix itself. " Gaaaahhhhhhaaaaa~! Mephisto! What trickery is this! How could such a creature sneak up on us like that?! Really now!" Clearly hinting at Mephisto's lack of awareness to the Pokemon getting so close, the manipulating scumbag was clearly terrified. Hexxus hated battling and relied on using the misguided actions of others to fight for him. Faced with such an angry Pokemon before him, it showed the Grimer for what he truly was. Sludging backwards as his arms slapped against the ground in retreat, he cried out, desperate for Mephisto's assistance. " My friend, my friend! Now is not the time for such ill mannered jests. Make good of your pledge and assist! MEPHISTO!" Yelling out, Mephisto merely let out a small smirk as he levitated his spoon and began to bend it playfully with no real intention of stepping in any time soon. " Fine! Just as I rounded our efforts, I shall continue to play ring leader! Mhmhmhmhm~!" Turning around, the Pokemon extenuated a huge amount of force and stretched out his viscous arms to grapple onto the side of Mephisto's jacket. Causing the Psychic to reel back, it was of no use. Having grappled out of the battle Hexxus came flying forwards like a hookshot and pulled himself out of harm's way. " Allow me!" Without so much a care, Hexxus used his spare arm and began searching for a Pokemon to go in his place. Retrieving a Pokeball which had a motif of a winged, long snouted creature, Hexxus let out a devious cackle as he tossed it forward. The introduction was not something Mephisto was too pleased about. Bursting out from the ball with a vengeance, the creature flew up into the air, using its terrifying wingspan to block out the moonlight from above. " He's too big!" Fretted Mephisto to himself as he looked up in terror. Flapping his wings as he looked down at the battlefield before him, it appeared Hexxus had not held back and summoned forth the most sadistic member of their alliance. " HAH! You kept me under lock and key long enough. Finally! I am free! Although I assume you didn't unleash me from the kindness of your heart." Lowering to the ground Ridley surveyed the other half of the battle. Looking at the growling Vulpix, Ridley snickered with a vicious toothed grin to his expression. " Perhaps it's time I tore this little vixen limb from limb. You remind me of a certain lil' birdy I was so fond of back at the warehouse..." Stomping forward, Mephisto was quick to interrupt knowing where this was going if Ridley was comparing the Vulpix to Cinder the Torchic. " FOOLS! We are trying to construct our rebellion! Not sic our worst on potential allies." Having already used his telekinetic power, Mephisto shot the Dusk Ball flying forwards he had chosen and hurtled it towards the Vulpix in order to foremost save the Pokemon from a cruel end at the hand's of Ridley and to secondly bolster their ranks. Letting out a grunt, Ridley stopped and craned his neck round to look at both Hexxus and Mephisto. " ...Don't make me regret signing up for this." Item used: x1 Dusk Ball (Auto-updating). OOC: Hexxus entered battle, switched to Ridley and Dusk ball then used.

As Vulpix stood thinking about what it had gotten itself into the fire type was not exactly in the best mood. It had already fended off a Horde of Ponyta earlier and now it had to deal with a Pokemon that smelled like rotten eggs and sulfur mixed with the smell of feces. It also had to put up with a giant Pterodactyl like Pokemon that looked rather hungry and a Kadabra that by far seemed to be the worse of it's worries. Vulpix was not the strongest or smartest Pokemon species but it was still pretty smart and it did not like the odds it faced in this battle. It looked rather worried with the 3 powerful Pokemon facing it down. " This is just my luck. I cannot find a friend no matter what but I can get into problems like this all the time. If I had any worse luck I would likely be dead. Let me guess you guys want to battle me and then capture me so I will be forced into serving your master? If you think I am just going to stand by and let you turn me into a slave you have another thing coming." The small fire type said as it tried to find a way to escape. As Ridley roared Vulpix grew rather terrified about what these strange Pokemon would do to it as the prehistoric Pokemon did not look very friendly. It did not want anything to do with the group. As Hexxus stepped back to let Ridley fight the fox the small fire type let loose a Flame Burst out of desperation. As the giant dinosaur like avian quickly recovered Vulpix quickly began to shake. It realized it screwed up by angering the giant Pokemon. " Oh boy that was really stupid I should not have done that. Please do not hurt me I did that out of fear." It said as it tried to bargain for it's life not even noticing the dusk ball flying it's way. As the ball hit the fox it made no attempt to escape as it liked living. Vulpix accepted it's fate as a slave just so it's life would be spared and the ball clicked shut barely moving at all. Hexxus observed the battle well and grew 1 level. He is now level 11. He also gained +1 happiness and has +1 happiness overall. Ridley watched the dusk ball destroy his chance to battle but he gained 3 levels anyway. He is now level 23. He gained +1 happiness and has +1 happiness overall. Mephisto grew one level thanks to his exp share and is now level 18. He also gained +1 happiness and has +3 overall. Mephisto is trying to learn Disable. Do you want him to forget a move to learn Disable. Vulpix has been captured. Please complete the code below. As the dusk ball made good of its purpose, Ridley eyed the ball menacingly in the event the fox would dare burst open. If anything, he willed it. The moment it burst he would swoop forward and maul the fox savagely. Perhaps once he had done so he would turn his efforts to the psychic and the pile of sludge. As the ball clicked, Ridley let out a maddened roar in protest. "Rargh! Typical of the furry tailed rat to cower in the confines of those metal orbs. You heard it too, it's not as if it would help this plan you have devised. Just release it and let me partake in my sport." Tempted to whip his tail downwards in the hope of crushing it, Mephisto was quick to use his telekinetic power to move the Duskball out of harm's way and retrieve it back to his person. Pocketing it away in the jacket pocket which was housing the Pokemon they had caught, the psychic decided enough was enough. He had been against these prehistoric terrors being grafted into the alliance. "Enough! I will call upon you when your talents are-" Having aimed Ridley's Pokeball at him in the hopes of returning him, the beam shot forward but Ridley was far too cunning and flapped his wings and dodged out of the way of it. Beating his wings as he assumed the higher ground against Mephisto and Hexxus, he looked down, his eyes brimming with sadistic instinct. As much as he wanted to give into his temptations, the Pokemon instead gave them a warning.
"Try that one more time and I promise that will be the last thing you do, meatsnack. I joined this movement in the hopes of being freed from that ramshackle warehouse. For now, I shall indulge in open freedom." Heightening his ascent, he flew over to a nearby tree, folded his wings and surveyed the route before them. Leering his eyes, Mephisto had no choice but to comply with the Aerodactyl's wishes. "Hmph. As you wish." Pocketing away Ridley's Pokeball, Mephisto grumbled to himself. "That prehistoric ninny... I'll impose my superiority over your ancient self. There is a reason you became extinct." Bubbling happily at the threat of the Vulpix being neutralised, Hexxus clapped his hands together as he waffled on. "Very good, very good. Yes, yes. Good indeed. That dearie little Vulpix was a feisty one and now she has but no choice to follow our cause. Although i'm doubting your commitment to this. Ahem." Sludging closer to Mephisto, Hexxus giggled mischievously in his airy tone. "Don't expect to walk away from such a traitorous action like that again. I may not be a combatant but I have a means of ending this all if you don't secure my safety." Glaring his eyes, the scheming Grimer may have been nothing but words most of the time but his manner of speaking hinted at certainty.
Turning around on the spot, Hexxus looked over to the grass and noticed something else rustle. "Mephisto my good friend, it looks like we've spotted another accomplice!" Saying nothing, Mephisto heightened his psychic awareness and picked up on the well camouflaged Pokemon. It must have been observing the recent altercation from before. "A Paras. Are we in need of a mere bug such as that?" His gaze shifting up to Mephisto, Hexxus cackled. "Eheheheheheh, of course. A Pokemon such as that has many talents. Oh, good sir! Paras! I do say, come over here my good fellow." Speaking up at the top of his lungs, the Grimer waved his arms as if to coerce the Paras to come out into the open. Lowering his voice back down to a whisper, he covered part of his mouth as he spoke out to Mephisto. "The moment he becomes visible, capture him." Wincing, Mephisto wanted to scream outloud. "Dummkopf, I am psychic, just think what you are wanting to say!"

Watching the battle that the Vulpix had got itself in, a lone Paras had been watching from the distance, perfectly camouflaged into the surrounding grasses so that it simply looked like a patch of sprouting fungus. Still, it's body couldn't help but quiver at the sight of the multiple tailed fox facing the trio of terrifying Pokemon who had only recently started plaguing the area. Shuddering to itself, the Paras only wanted to scuttle on it's way but the battle was taking placing in the centre of it's usual route and having something of a simple mind, could not simply take a different diversion. If it wanted to get to a special patch of mushrooms that it enjoyed to feast on, it simply had to continue this way and this way only. Bearing incredible patience or one again, simply being incredibly dumb, the Paras didn't bother to escape to a safer location and instead remained grounded in that one spot, even as the gigantic flaps of Ridley's wings disturbed the calm blades of grass, blowing them apart every now and again to clearly show the location of the hiding Paras.
Watching as the Vulpix let out a burst of fire in defence, the lonesome bug was startled to see the fox suddenly dragged into a ball and disappear from sight entirely. Just what manner of trickery was this? Adding to it's nerves, the wild Pokemon could've just reversed itself into the bushes and wriggled it's way to safety but being a bit heavy footed, it trip due to panicking and ended up drawing the attention of the foul smelling Grimer. Tensing up, the Paras found itself frozen in fear, as if feeling several pairs of eyes staring at it's direction. Perched on the top of the tree was the prehistoric Ridley, then there was the powerful psychic powers of the disguised Mephisto seemingly entering it's mind and with words smoother than it's slime covered body was Hexxus, who had incredibly been able to lure the simple Paras out. Since it had been found, the Paras found little need in remaining hidden. It only hoped that the Grimer was going to ask where to capture other Pokemon who were more important and stronger than itself. Scuttling forward bit by bit, still aware of the looming presence of Ridley close by, the nervous Paras had made itself known.
A wild Paras (Level 27) has appeared! Please select a Pokemon to use in battle.

As the bug eyed Paras scuttled over, both Mephisto and Hexxus appeared to stand fast in anticipation for them to make good of their plans. Even this time around it appeared that Hexxus was going along with what Mephisto had so advised for the umpteenth time. " Ohohoho~!! Oho! OHOHOHO! Now, now, Mephisto my dear friend. Wait until you see the white in it's eyes... Just a little.... Oho, myes... Mmm... A few scuttles more... Aha... Oh... Ooooh... Now, now, NOW! Go forth in a glorious display of your talents!" Clapping his hands encouragingly, Hexxus was bobbing up and down far too excitedly at the prospect of this all. The scheming sludge ball had come up with some outlandish plans in his time and whilst he was revelling in the current one he had meticulously planned up, he was still finding it hard to believe just how successful they were being in their endeavours. From the get go, Hexxus knew he wasn't going to be able to pull this off on his own. This didn't bother the plotting Grimer as from his very conception, he had always relied on exploiting and using others to achieve his goals. To him, he was the player and the beings around him were but chess pieces to be used. What was amazing was the fact that the Pokemon he had decided to include were actually in agreement to give this a shot. Of course there were overlapping egos to contend with and some of the alliance were already in the process of tearing at each other's throats and plotting an usurping of their own but they had now come across their third Pokemon. Progress was progress at the end of the day and they were achieving this in spades. Using his psychic powers to delve into the jacket pocket and pull out yet another dusk ball (Looker was definitely a keen fan of these) Mephisto quickly primed it and got ready to conclude off their third acquisition. That was of course, if Ridley was going to play nice and not intervene. Which he wouldn't. Before Mephisto could take aim at the target, a blood curdling scream pierced the ears of those in the vicinity. Swooping from his treetop perch, the prehistoric menace was keen to actually indulge in a bit of fisticuffs. After all, it had been thousands upon thousands of years and he had been cooped up in that accursed warehouse for so long. Having observed like a hawk with his keen sense of eyes atop of the tree, Ridley had noticed they had already summoned another Pokemon into the fray. Now was his chance it seemed. Unfurling his wings and swooping downwards, the Pokemon cried out with exhilarated guile. " Hah! You idiots are not going to stop me this time. I shall finally make my mark on this modern world and bring about a revival of my ancient kin!" His facing scrunching up, Mephisto was starting to lose his patience with these loose cannons. Originally, he had no wanted no alliance with them on the basis he had trouble influencing their minds with how small and primal their brains were and not to mention he was actually quite frightened of them. But enough was enough. Levitating himself with his telekinetic gifts, he hurtled forward in a speed almost rivalling that of Ridley's. " DUMMKOPF! I have stayed my tongue long enough. You carry on like this and it will be all for naught." Having entered the battle first, Mephisto had now technically swapped into the front line of battle. His eyes glowing as his psychic powers went into overdrive, the Kadabra raised his skeletal arm as he focused all of his might into controlling Ridley. Probing his mind with a psychic barrage, Ridley snorted as he flapped his wings to halt his descent. " Snrk! Your trickery and powers have no affect on me. You're wasting your time, charlatan." Preparing his wings to regain his descent, Mephisto felt a stray bead of sweat fall down his forehead. His psychic mind control was without a doubt his ultimate asset and had succeeded in most cases in getting him what he desired. But up against this prehistoric monster, it was for naught. However, a bright idea suddenly entered his mind. Snickering, Mephisto shoved his arm out once more but this time, instead of focusing his psychic powers, he instead tunnelled all of his telekinetic powers onto the flying menace. " HhhhnnnnnngggggrrrraaaaaAAAARRRRGGGGGGGH!!!" Remaining in descent position, Ridley had suddenly come to a surprising halt. It appeared that his powers of telekinesis had trapped Ridley to be immobile. Trying to flap his wings to avert his invisible prison, Ridley screamed out with absolute loathing. " Silly little meatsnack, you dare try and go against me?! Screeee! I'll break free from this and tear YOU limb from limb instead. I... Will... Not... Tolerate... THIS!! SCREEEEEE!!" Struggling to keep a hold on Ridley, Mephisto knew he had a job still to do. Grabbing the Duskball with his spare hand, he actually tossed the Duskball at the Paras that had almost been forgotten. Not using his telekinesis, he was wanting to be sure not a bit of his telekinetic power would be detracted from what it was needed most. " Silence you peon! Long enough have you thought you ruled the roost. But now it is time to put you in your place. You are nothing more than an ancient fossil. Behold, the might of the modern age!" Now focusing both of his hands upwards at Ridley, Mephisto kept him securely in place as Ridley began to desist. His eyes glaring, it was hard to tell what the pterodactyl was thinking. Item used:x1 Duskball (Auto-updated)

Wriggling cautiously out of it's hiding place, the simple Paras was being teased forward by the words of Hexxus. Hobbling forward slowly to begin with, as the small creature moved, nothing terrible appeared to be happening, so it would quicken it's pace ever so slightly, with the Grimer still coming across as welcoming. Slowly boiling the Grimer down to being friendly despite their strange behaviour with the Vulpix merely moments ago, the Paras had already forgotten and was now fully out of the grass. Moving at a normal pace at this point, the Paras was curious to hear the words of Hexxus, all until a tunnel of wind blasted down from above. Crouching it's body, the Paras flinched it's eyes shut, digging it's pincers into the ground as Ridley began to descend in hopes that the wind wouldn't blow it away completely. Once Ridley had lowered himself and the air was somewhat calmer, the Paras wearily opened one eye, almost turning white at the sight of the prehistoric creature making it's appearance known. Shuddering violently on the spot, the Paras was clearly terrified at his presence.
Not taking in the conversation between the two Pokemon, the Paras was struggling to calm itself down, eyes spinning nervously at the sheer strength of the Pokemon that surrounded it. Then, all of a sudden, the two said Pokemon were both seemingly after the Paras at once, only adding more fear to the poor bug. As Mephisto momentarily took the lead, it would've been better for him to use his telekinesis straight off the bat instead of charging forward, as he was the one the Paras locked onto. Lowering it's body and raising it's pincers to protect it's face, the Paras began wriggling the mushrooms on it's back, a massive wave of Stun Spore floating through the air and attaching to the body of Mephisto. With this now also hindering his hold on Ridley, the Kadabra threw the ball just in time, otherwise the spores would've truly caused him some severe paralysis. It's target senses locking onto the Paras, the Dusk ball shot through the air and tapped the cowering Paras, capturing it with little to no resistance.

Spluttering and wheezing as Mephisto inhaled some of the paralytic stun spores, he could feel the troubling effect it was having on his body. All he could do was hope the Dusk Ball would succeed. Should it fail, not only would the Paras have bought about its own destruction but Mephisto's as well. Despite his last outburst in putting the ancient fossil in place, Mephisto was unsure on how the revived Pokemon would react. He was a tricky foe and was known to play some sadistic mind games in the warehouse with the myriad of Pokemon that Joey had acquired. Coughing again, his body tensed and spasmed erratically as he struggled to fight not only the mental taxation of keeping Ridley in place but also from trying to resist the paralysing spores. Hearing the ball wobble, he strained his eyes. "Urgh... Dummkopf... If this spore prevents me... We will both be on the menu!" His eye remaining fixated and not a hint of faltering from focusing on Ridley, he used a tiny ounce of his psychic powers to contact Hexxus. "Urgh... Hexxus you... Get the Pokeball for... Ridley... Contain him!!"
His order explicit, Hexxus smiled with a wry hint to his expression. "Oooooh? You require MY help now? Now, now, good Mephisto... I am still in two minds from what you had tried earlier. I guess you could deem this... Revenge?" Cackling delightfully to himself, Mephisto gritted his teeth as he felt his powers fading. A fact Ridley was all too aware of. "HAH! SCREE! Not a moment longer and i'll tear you into a million pieces. Your days are numbered shaman!" Hissing with utter venom in his voice, it was perhaps the kick Mephisto needed to double his efforts. Adrenaline surging, his powers returned to their former heights as he kept the Aerodactyl still. Feeling a small grab, he was unsure as to what was feeling up his pockets. It appeared in the time he had fixated on Ridley, Hexxus had oozed over and had grabbed the Pokemon's Pokeball. "Ahhhhh... The look of panic was repayment enough. I think you seem to forget i'm reliant on you actually acting as a masquerade for our escape. Tut tut."
Hearing the Dusk ball click, Mephisto let out a triumphant roar. "Gah hah hah hah! You have been bested by a being of higher existence. BOW BEFORE THE MIGHT OF MEPHISTO!" "SCREEEEEEEEEEE!" Still trapped in place let out a screech but it was to no avail, Hexxus raised his sludge lengthened arms and recalled the prehistoric terror to his domain. "Hmph. I KNEW inviting them along would be a cause for concern." Rolling his eyes, Hexxus yawned and sludged off into the grass to obtain the Paras. "Oh hush. We are mighty in our own right but a bit of brute force never goes amiss. We've reigned them in, what more do you want, hmmmmm?" No sooner than had they acquired their third target, that Hexxus appeared to eye over a Venonat. Clearing his throat and putting on his charismatic tone, he stretched out an arm and waved over to the new Pokemon, no doubt alerted to the scene due to all the chaos unfolding. "Ahhhhh, my dear Venonat. A pleasure it is to see you. Come, come, we are all friends here. We merely wish to converse somewhat." Slapping his forehead, Mephisto used his powers to recollect the balls and stuff them away. It appeared their conquest wasn't letting up any time soon.

There were many strange things about this night. For starters, many of the Pokemon on the route had been... 'relocated' to other areas, via trainers and their capturing capsules, the bane of many Pokemon. There was a startling evolution, and it was probably the first Charizard seen on the route in a long time, and there was even a strange band of Pokemon wandering about on their own. So, the night was dark and relatively surprising. For Venonat, it'd done it's best to avoid these things in general. Only wandering outside at night, for one, helped avoid crazy situations. Many trainers weren't out at these hours, but the sounds of battle and a shrill screech said otherwise. Venonat's pair of antenna twitched with the sounds, and it's eyes shone in the night as it wandered towards the sounds in a rare streak of curiosity. The commotion had been caused by a Pokemon Venonat had never seen before. The air was tense with power and energy, as if something were holding the mass behemoth in place long enough for an old friend of Venonat to disappear into a pokeball. It's eyes blinked a few more times, as if a computer were processing the information with bright lights. However, Venonat's presence hadn't gone unnoticed. Immediately, a Grimer, awfully smelly things, beckoned the Pokemon forward, and Venonat stayed put, immediately wary of the situation. Where was their trainer? There was a Kadabra, the angry Pokemon now balled, and this sludge heap. Realizing it's eyes might've given away the surprise, Venonat chirped with realization. Were the Pokemon the trainers? "I must admit, this is a perplexing situation. The capabilities of Pokemon training, I had assumed, were only given to humans. And yet, here you are, impersonating a trainer. Have you ever thought what message and image you might be sending to the wild Pokemon of this area?" It's voice was very calculative, and rather 'matter-of-factly.' However, doing as suggested, the Venonat walked forward, wary of the duo. It expected a fight from these strange Pokemon, but Venonat had been wrong before. Wild Venonat (30) is very confused! Will you Fight or Flee?

As the Venonat approached them, invited in with Hexxus' invitation, the scheming sludge did well to hide his malicious snicker as he watched the portly little nat get ever closer. With the Pokemon in close proximity, Hexxus was ready to forward his thoughts to Mephisto in order to get the Pokemon to capture it but both of them were taken off guard as the Venonat spoke out to them. It wasn't too surprising that it engaged in conversation but more the fact it actually seemed quite sane and upstanding in terms of what it was relaying. Shaking off his baited anticipation, Hexxus sludged forward towards the Venonat and decided to engage with the Pokemon's question. "Ahhhhhh~ A very fair point indeed you raise. Most intelligent of you to perceive us as we are. I digress however, you mentioned something about sending a message?" Letting out a small forced laugh, Hexxus shook his body to signify he disagreed with the Venonat's assertion. "No, no, no, my good friend. Whilst we are trying to send a message you have it oh so wrong. Its not one of forced servitude and silly irony. Oh no. We're trying to ask those able and willing to join our cause. A just one at that it is. We believe in the little man. The type of person who gets chewed up and spat out simply because they're a Pokemon. You've seen it i'm sure. We go about dilly dallying our daily lives when along comes some obnoxious trainer looting for our kind." Tutting disparagingly, Hexxus let his words sink in before giving the Venonat a friendly pat on the shoulder as he sighed and continued on.
"What we are aiming to do is build a rebellion. It's time WE the Pokemon stood up for our rights." His spare arm gesturing over to Mephisto with small globs of sludge splattering off onto the floor, he continued on. "You see, our guise and misconceived message is because OF trainers. If we go about in our true guise, we would surely be set upon by evil hearted trainers looking to acquire a new pawn for their chess game." A lightning quick flash of an evil smirk appearing over his face, he quickly subdued it and gave the Venonat a quick pat on the back. "From what I can tell, you're able bodied AND intelligent. A worthy addition to the cause. Mephisto?" Putting all of his energy into his body, he sludged out of the way to where Mephisto was as the Kadabra came walking up closer. "Hmph. Ignore my associate's spiel. Perhaps my invitation will be more to your liking. KNEEL BEFORE THE MIGHT OF MEPHISTO! HAH!" Having stepped into the battle and using his psychic powers to jettison a dusk ball out of his pocket, he quickly aimed it towards the more than likely confused Pokemon.

Being drawn closer by the intriguing words of Hexxus, the Venonat remained silent, still not trusting this group of strange Pokemon. It had approached out of interest but hearing the Grimer's response didn't exactly make sense to the fluffy nat. If they were trying to start a rebellion against trainers, why were they themselves capturing Pokemon? Surely with Hexxus' silver tongue, he could merely convince them to travel alongside them instead of using the devices used to capture and trap Pokemon. The exact thing he was apparently promoting to try and stop. Immediately falling even more dubious, the creature was about to turn and dash off, expecting this to be a trap. But by that time, it was far too late. The much bolder and less subtle Pokemon, draped in a trench coat and large hat now stepped forward, using it's psychic powers to levitate a Dusk Ball in mid air. Startled by this sight, they were truly going to attempt to capture the Venonat? Even though it had just been dubbed as intelligent and useful to their cause, this wild Pokemon didn't want to be ruled over after experiencing freedom for so long. By a trainer or Pokemon.
Although it couldn't quite muster the same level of ability as a Kadabra, who was more naturally adept to psychic powers, the Venonat knew it had to defend itself. Sending forth a multicoloured Psybeam, it aimed it so that the attack would knock the flying ball off course, striking the body of Mephisto in the process. Obviously, he was able to shake off such a useless attempt as if it were nothing and the Dusk Ball wasn't entirely useless either. It had wobbled off course and hit the floor but with the wonder that was technology, it quickly picked itself up again. Re-registering it's course, the ball swooped up sneakily to the unsuspecting Venonat and captured it without too much resistance.

As the Duskball flew perilously through the air and drew ever closer to its target, Mephisto seemed completely taken off guard by the Pokemon deciding to try a bid for freedom and firing of a psybeam of its own at the megalomaniac. Straining his mind, Mephisto grunted as he tried to reverse the disarming beam. "Oof... Dummkopf! We are offering you a shot at greatness! You are either with us... Or against us!" Using a sudden burst of psychic energy to counterbalance the move that had been used on him, he redoubled his efforts as the Duskball resumed its flight and made contact with Venonat. Covering the furry little nat from head to toe in a warm light, it was sucked inside the ball and began rattling back and forth. "Unf... You would think being the supposed trainer of this group I would be the one safe from all these assaults." Leering at Hexxus, the sludge Pokemon could only muster a shady laugh in response. By the time they had spoken with one another, it appeared the Duskball had fulfilled its duty and captured the unwilling Venonat. "Hmph. It appears he is with us. Unwillingly, but with us all the same."
Stretching an arm out, he reached out with his telekinetic ability and had the ball return to him. As he did, Mephisto was momentarily distracted by a sudden ray of light beaming into his eyes. Positioning his hat downwards to prevent any blindness, he looked over to the horizon and was shocked. It had become daytime. "Have we been at this scheme for this long?" Turning to look at the sunrise also, Hexxus cackled deviously while twiddling his fingers together. "Eheheheheheheh, but of course Mephisto. How times flies~ At this rate with the sun coming up, I have no doubt a whole new slew of Pokemon will be ours. Ripe for the taking." As Mephisto collected the Duskball and collected it within his pocket, he looked to Hexxus and queried something. "We have amassed enough by now. Surely?" Shaking his head, Hexxus was in disagreement. "Nonsense my good friend. This only the start. There is far more ahead of us." As he finished, a sudden rustle of bushes in the distance drew both of their attention to it. "Ooooh? Do we have a newcomer in our midst~? Hello, hello!"
Using his psychic ability, Mephisto scanned the area and ascertained what was there. "Hmmm... A Stantler."
OOC: Night time has passed leading to day time. Requesting a Stantler.

As Manifesto picked up a Stantler's presence using his psychic powers the deer like Pokemon walked out of the bushes and stopped in front of the group of Pokemon. The Stantler seemed to be curious as to what in the world the group was doing near it's home. The deer was rather uneasy as it looked at Manifesto as it had never seen such a powerful psychic type so close to it's home before. Stantler was convinced that the pair could not be up to any good and it started to strike it's hooves on the ground as if it was getting ready for a battle. It did not like these Pokemon near it's home and it was going to try it's best to scare them off. Stantler was used to trouble making Pokemon trying to take over it's home but these two seemed to be really dangerous. The deer could sense that the Kadabra was a lot stronger than most of the Pokemon in the route. It got the feeling that they had a trainer and that did not sit well with Stantler as it did not want to be captured and turned into a humans slave. As it looked at Manifesto the deer lowered it's head as if it was getting ready to charge the psychic type. Stantler did not seem willing to try to talk things out with the trespassers and so it seemed the only way to calm it down was a battle. A level 32 Stantler has appeared and would like to battle. Please select a Pokemon. Ooc: Sorry this reply was a bit short I just could not come up with much this time around.

Although he had used his telepathy to read the mind and sense the presence of the Stantler itself, nothing prepared either of them for when it would show itself in full. Taking in the stag's appearance, Mephisto and Hexxus were somewhat intimidated by the Pokemon's impressive presence as well as its threatening set of horns. With the Pokemon gazing at them solidly without so much a blink to its unsettling stare, Mephisto looked to Hexxus who in turned looked to the psychic Pokemon. " Ohum... I think we may have found a strong but silent type, hm? Myes... Get to it Mephisto, my good chum." Clearly not wanting to have anything to do with this fight, Hexxus remained firmly on the sidelines away from any such hazardous danger. The way this Stantler leered at them was as if its very eyes were peering into the depths of their naughty souls. It wasn't a feeling the pair of them appreciated very comfortably. " Mhmhmhm, he definitely doesn't like the look of you~" Pointed out the Grimer to which Mephisto grumbled psychically, not wanting to let the Stantler in on any of their conversation. " Dummkopf, I can see that. He seems to be wanting to gouge me with those horns of his." Not really interested in risking life or limb in a fight with this clearly powerful foe, Mephisto uneasily felt his hand sink into his pocket. Given how even he and his delusions grandeur were not strong enough to mislead the Kadabra into thinking his transcendent being could take on such an overwhelming foe, it was perhaps to no surprise that the Pokeball he pulled out of his pocket bore the crude markings of a winged beast upon it. Noticing this, Hexxus quivered with a series of ripples. " You're going to employ the use of the prehistoric menace after we parted on the worst of terms?! Are you insane my dear friend?" Resolute in his choice, he lifted the Pokeball up and summoned him on the spot before them. " No. Simply desperate." Confirmed Mephisto as he watched Ridley appear once more, the pterodactyl shaking off his wings with a stretch as he appeared to enjoy being out in the open once more. Ignoring the Stantler without so much a glance, he stomped around to face Hexxus and Mephisto. The psychic type especially. " Heh heh heh. I see you cowardly little fleas have once again come crawling back. Surprised you didn't try your luck with Zidane." His neck craning up as he leered his eyes at Mephisto, Ridley was definitely a tricky customer. " I can imagine with the little patience he has that he's near enough done with your antics." Stepping forward, his neck extending and getting dangerously close to invading Mephisto's personal space, Ridley continued. Surprised that Mephisto did little to move out the way or flinch at his presence, Ridley retreated his neck back and decided to be clear. " I should rip you to shreds for your unabashed intervention back then. But that took severe guts. Perhaps you aren't so much the worm I thought you to be." About to further his sentence, Hexxus attempted to cut in. " Ahhh, absolutely won-Ack!" The Aerodactyl's tail swishing viciously close to where Hexxus stood, Ridley leered his eyes again to convey that the Grimer should remain silent. " Hmph. I care little if you have found respect for me or not. I have called upon your help because of that." Nodding his head sombrely, Ridley twisted his neck round to see the Stantler with his back to him still. " Screeeee. I can see why you cowardly meatsnacks would need my help." Turning on the spot, whatever revenge or commendation the prehistoric beast wanted to give could wait. It had always wanted to go toe to toe with a powerful enemy. Some of the creatures at the warehouse had proven to be worthy, Uragaan, Lockjaw, Metyrant. But this would be a no holds barred fight that he had craved. Swishing his wings as he turned on the spot, he faced the Stantler head on. " Whatever means necessary." Advised Mephisto, still a little uncertain of them attempting to face such a FOE. Snarling, Ridley devilishly sized the Stantler head to toe. " I have my ways." Launching himself up to the air with a flap of his wings, he used his prehensile tail to slam down into the ground numerous times in order to create an earthquake. OOC: Don't be silly March. Requested Pokemon encounters don't leave much to work with. And you did that on your birthday too so i'm extremely grateful for your reply.

As the rather brave Stantler waited to see which one of the troublemakers would challenge it to a battle it was rather unnerved by the sight of a prehistoric flying Pokemon bearing down on it. Stantler had no idea what the hell it was but the deer was rather nervous of what may be a rather strong opponent. Stantler felt pressured as it looked into the Pterodactyl's eyes. It was not feeling quite as brave as it had before as this monstrosity baring down on it did not look like it wanted to play games but rather have a serious battle. Not wanting to allow it to terrorize it's homeland however Stantler stepped forward ready to make it's move. Before it could even think of what to do however disaster struck. The ground beneath the deers hooves began to violently shake as Ridley crashed into the ground causing an Earthquake. Standler was sent sliding across the ground and slammed into a tree before it managed to recover it's balance. As it walked over the now uneven terrain full of cracks and crevices Stantler did not feel safe trying a close quarters attack. Not only could it's foe try to fly away to dodge any attack it may make it also had to deal with the hostile terrain. The terrible conditions of it's home upset Stantler but seeing no other way to get some revenge it decided on a bit of mind games to confuse the prehistoric Pokemon. As Stantler looked at the rocky beast it's horns began to glow a bright purple. Suddenly Ridley found himself in prehistoric times or so he believed anyways. He saw a bunch of Pokemon that had gone extinct by the modern age and got ready to attack them thinking they were really there but in reality they were nothing but a mirage caused by a Confuse Ray that Stantler had used. The deer snickered as Ridley flew around attacking things that were not even there and it hoped the confusion would give it the upper hand. Wild Pokemon Battle
