Observing the capture device going flying off and dabbing at the unfortunate Paras that had managed to get itself up in the chaos the nefarious alliance had wrought upon the route itself, Scar wasn't quite relaxed. Following his tried and tested ethos of kill or be killed, he knew better than to rely on others in order for things to succeed. Putting absolute zero faith in this working, the Pokemon was about ready to lash out and exact some of its lethal assassination moves. If anything, this was more of a test to see if they were even effective for use. Watching as the Pokemon was incapacitated and sealed away within the confines of the specialist Pokeball, it rocked back and forth, resisting capture. A fact which had Scar almost whirl forwards and put down any such hope. Amazingly, the capture itself was successful. "
Incredible. It appears I would have another means of neutralising my foes." Of course there was the issue of carrying around these devices but it appeared the cold hearted assassin was pretty much sold on the idea of Pokeballs. With the Paras taken care of, it appeared the sudden jolt into his body had awoken the slumbering Hexxus. "
Mhmhmhmhm yaaaaaaaawn... A fulfilling sleep. I'm just fuuuuuuull of vigour aplenty to exact out my dreams and schemes. Ooooooh~?? Scar my dear, dear friend. What brings you out in the open?" Unaware of how the Whirlipede had saved the alliance's entire hide, Scar had little time to respond as Mephisto soon stirred. Sitting up and letting out a groggy groan, he clutched at his head. "
Mmmmph... My head... Oof." Shaking erratically, he repositioned himself to see both Scar and Hexxus. "
Harrumph. At least the Nidoking is no more." Cackling broodingly, a glowing orb appeared beside him. It appeared the pulsating life force of the mighty king was now Mephisto's.
As the sinister assortment of characters appeared to be regrouping and refocusing their efforts, a dry, monotone voice called out matter of factly. "
I finally found you." A sudden gale picking up, the group's attentions were shifted off to the other end of the route path they were on. A lone finger standing bravely before them, he readjusted the hat on his head before looking up, his coat flapping in the wind as he grilled them with his emerald eyes. "
There will be repercussions for this. Come quietly. Do not make this any worse than it already is." Bubbling nervously, Hexxus began to sludge backwards as he looked to Scar and Mephisto for support. The figure itself belonged to none other than Looker. Joey's right hand man and ultimately caretaker of the warehouse's sanctity. That included charge of the Pokemon dwelling within also. "
Ooooooh no~!! No, no, no! This will not do. Will not do~! I was hoping to have a far greater army before taking on their might. Scar~! Mephisto~! Sound the alarm! Call for back up! We will need help from the other members of the alliance~! Send forth our enlistments~! We make our stand, mhhmhmhm~!" Secretly fearful of their prospects, he hoped the adventure had toughened up the pawns enough for his plan to succeed. Slowly rolling forward, Scar appeared ready to take on this threat. Mephisto had wearily levitated himself back to his feet and let his aura explode with his new found energies. "
Dummkopf. I know you can understand me. Know this. The rebellion begins now." His eyes narrowing, Looker didn't appear the least bit impressed. "
A rebellion? There will be no such thing. It will be quashed." Despite having had one of his Pokemon forcibly taken and killed in front of him, it appeared Looker was no less confident in his ability as a trainer and upholder of law and order within the ranks. "
This ends now." His arm flapping open the side of his coat, it revealed a single Pokeball sitting on his belt.
Unbeknownst to Joey's Pokemon and many within the gang, since losing his signature Poliwrath at the hands of Team Rocket, he had gone on a journey of discovery, trying to come to terms with his loss. In the time he had, the slick biker had come across a new found partner. One which he had struggled to reign in but eventually earnt the Pokemon's respect. Grasping it with dexterous speed, he primed it in mere milliseconds before tossing it forward. What was summoned was something that terrified even the battle hardened members of the rebellion. Letting out a deafening roar far worse than anything they had met on their little adventure, the draconic beast appeared to be signalling the end of their excursion. Steadfast in its demeanour, the Pokemon was none other than a Haxorus.
"
HMPH! A mere lizard will be of little consequence." Despite his cocky arrogance, it appeared Mephisto was happy enough to let others take up the battle for him. Letting a number of Pokeballs go flying out of his pocket and summoning forth their contents, it revealed Ridley, Zidane and K.Rool. "
Meeeephisto~ Dear friend. Why not use the masses we have acquired?" Queried Hexxus. With such incredible number at their disposal, they could make up for what they lacked in power against this Haxorus with sheer numbers. "
Hmph. You dummkopf. We must subvert their misplaced anger to us. For now they are of no use and will turn on their masters. I will brainwash them later. For now, we can prevail." Sizing up his target, Ridley appeared keen on engaging the enemy. "
Heheheheh. You finally get me a foe worthy of a fight to the death. One that could fit right back in the good old days. Right, Zidane?" Letting out a hearty grunt, the two prehistoric creatures were amped to fight. K.Rool on the other hand was a lot less confident. "
Hah hah hah... You are a jolly bunch of jokers." Folding his arms, the delusional king appeared more willing for the prehistoric brutes to head in first and take whatever pickings where left.
"
Screeeeeeeeeeeee! I take no orders from you. Enough. Time for us to savage this foe." Unfurling his wings, Ridley took to the skies as Zidane let out a dull roar of his own and went charging forward with his head lowered. Tag teaming Haxorus together, it appeared there would be a dual assault of land and sky. With both Haxorus and Looker betraying no reaction, it would only be Looker's commands that would show feeling from their corner. "
Dragon Dance. Outrage." If they were not going to fight fairly, neither would Looker and his choice. Squeezing in two moves at once, the Haxorus, so powerful in its ability was able to make good of the combination. Stomping forwards with choreographed steps, arms flailing in distinct grooves, the Pokemon's aura seemed to spike before bursting with a noticeable spark around its body. Having sped along first to strike, Zidane was ready to smash his near invulnerable head against the pitiable foe but was beaten to the punch. Rampaging savagely, the Haxorus made use of all of its limbs, tails and axe like tusks to outright trounce Zidane's efforts. Concluding the confrontation with a crushing slam of his tail to make the Pokemon settle on the floor, Haxorus let out a powerful snort as Looker gave him his next move. Having kept his eye on Ridley above, Looker would not be reluctant in quelling what he deemed the most threatening of this alliance's ensemble. "
Draco Meteor."
Merely looking up to the sky also, it seemed the Haxorus had a special innate power it could call upon. Somehow reigning in comets from above, a number of them quickly broke through the ozone layer before hurtling towards their impact zone. "
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEE! What mocking jest is this?! You are trying to anger me surely at this point. I will not be beaten a secon----SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Hit by one of the summoned comets, Ridley was grounded forcibly and immobilised by the immeasurable strength of his enemy. Quaking at the display of might, K.Rool unfolded his arms and stood on the spot. "
A-Ack...! I'll give ye an offer to join the klan... Could do with a foot soldier like... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Rampaging still from the outrage, the despotic king was slammed into the ground mercilessly. "
Dummkopfs. Perhaps I will have to deal with this lowly monster myself. A dose of psychic influence should do it. HARRUMPH! BOW BEFORE THE MIGHT OF MEPHISTO!" Thrusting his arms forward, Mephisto attempted to hijack the Haxorus' mind. Sadly, this would be of no use. So enraged from the rampaging outrage, the mind of this dragon was far too tumultuous for even a savant like Mephisto to manipulate. Utilising increased power from the life orb, Mephisto's body began to shake as he overexerted every bit of strength he could muster. This would still amount to nothing. Having judged incorrectly, the Pokemon was left defenceless as the Haxorus approached. Swiping viciously with a lash of his tail, Mephisto was knocked to the side like a mere ragdoll. The God had been ripped from his lofty perch and thrown in the dirt.
Now completely disadvantaged, the rebellion almost snuffed like a mere candle being put out, it meant that only Hexxus and Scar remained. Closest to the berserk Haxorus, Hexxus gulped before deciding once more to tempt fate and use his silver tongue to try and win the favour of the enemy. Considering he had been well and truly been squashed by the Nidoking before, it was almost admirable to see the Pokemon try its chances once more. "
Aha. Coooooey there oh supreme Haxorus. I forfeit. Your strength is unbeatable. You are truly above these ne'erdowell scoundrels you see here today. But I must ask you this, mhmhmhm~ Are your talents not wasted? Are you truly satisfied taking orders from the human over there~? Ahhhh... I would wager that to be a possibility. Why, with your peerless strength, brains and fortitude, you could do anything you wanted. How about it, mmmmm~??" His hands slipping between one another, Hexxus was heavily applying his persuasion. Snorting, the Haxorus stared down the Grimer before turning to look at Looker. Given the two had made an unbreakable bond with one another; the answer was easy to make to what Hexxus had asked.
STOMP.
Flattening the Grimer much like the Nidoking had done so before, Hexxus' gambit had failed spectacularly. For all of his plotting and scheming and tempting, it appeared that there were some immune to this Pokemon's treacherous words. He would definitely have to up his ante if he wanted any chance of succeeding next time. The only reason he had got as far as he had done with this group's escape and rebellion was because they were all in it for themselves and looking to out do one another. A troubling foundation to be sure. "
Excellent Haxorus. It appears... Hm? Oh. There is yet one more." With the duo looking to focus on Scar, it seemed the Whirlipede had remained silent and let the rest of the gang take on the Pokemon itself. Remaining affixed in its position, the Pokemon called out. "
A Haxorus. This must be destiny." Falling silent, the Pokemon would soon elaborate much further. "
I knew these fools would not last. But now. Now I have my chance. It was a fateful day. Many moons ago. I took on a Haxorus much like yourself but was thrown aside. Given this scar. My namesake. By rights, I should have died. But I survived. And now, I will kill you in place of that enemy from my past." Shifting to the side having shown off its scar, the Pokemon made abundantly clear this time around, the confrontation would go in its favour instead. "I will end you." A grudge match in the making, it appeared Scar had been looking participate in such a feud for quite sometime. Not quite understanding what Scar was on about, Looker's Haxorus merely roared as if disdainful of having to rope in so many unruly Pokemon.
Spinning furiously on the spot, Scar went bounding forwards having built up enough momentum to lead the charge like a furious wheel of retribution. Batting off the sudden strike, Scar would not desist. Continually streaking forwards with a furious spin of its body, the Haxorus amazingly had difficulty in vanquishing this last of the dissenters. However it was not for the rebellion but for the Whirlipede's own personal reasoning that it fought. Savagely going at one another with little sign of showing up, it at least showed off Scar's incredible prowess as an attacker. Bouncing off one more time as the Haxorus swiped his tail, Scar leered his eyes. "
Cower!" Letting out a debilitating screech, it had the Haxorus grasp at its ears in agony. "
You're dead!" Suddenly launching forwards hoping to fell the dragon, it appeared Scar had sorely misjudged his opponent. Despite catching it off guard with the screeching battle cry, it had already recovered and with a sudden dodge to the side, quickly struck forwards to dash its axe tusk against the hide of Scar's body. Once again hitting the same area that the Pokemon had been wounded before. Landing to the floor with a slump and an agonised scream, a sudden burst of light engulfed Scar's body. Having been trounced even in his evolved form, it had ignited something within the Pokemon's being. Blinding the area, what would replace the Whirlipede's body was the fully evolved form of that particular family. A Scolipede.
Scar's wound still raw, the Pokemon got to its many legged feet and stared down the Haxorus. "
I will not lose. I cannot lose. You will die." Leaning forwards, the Pokemon sped onwards with absolute surprising agility that unnerved even Looker to a degree. Looking around as the lengthy centipede began to encircle Haxorus, it seemed Scar was hoping to constrict the Haxorus tight before indulging the dragon with some deadly toxins. Trying to strike at the snaking body, Scar appeared to have unprecedented control of his body and was able to weave out the way of the Haxorus just in time before quickly slithering around the dragon's body. "
Death is typically business. But yours I will savour." The tip of its body now soaked in a poisonous drip, it was about ready to inject the fatal toxins into the body before the Haxorus swiftly regained control, grabbing the Scolipede and lifting it up into the air away from itself, the Haxorus let out a snort before Looker sealed Scar's fate. "
Giga Impact." Tensing all of its muscles up, the Haxorus slammed the Pokemon forwards into the ground, causing an almighty crater. "
Just wait until Joe hears about this..." Murmured Looker as he took in all the destruction and strewn, unconscious bodies of the would be rebellion. Barely pooling himself back together, Hexxus ashamedly lamented. "
So ends... The sinister six..."
