Curiosity has me wondering. Is this still open for applications? I'd feel silly if I left one only to be told this was over. :3

- Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu?
A few reasons actually. The fire and foremost has to be the fact that I simply love being able to roleplay. Though it seems selfish, it has some good. I wouldn't simply become a mod to roleplay for myself oooh-no. I'd become a mod to help others RP. I know I'm not the only one who sits around checking the computer every couple hours to see if my thread has been replied to or not. (Obsessive D:?) It's summer time for me and I'll have so much time to roleplay. Don't get me wrong, when summer is over I'll still be on here as often as ever.
The second reason is that I seem to get online when not a lot of people are. Perhaps it's time zones, and the fact that I can't ever sleep in. I get on earlier in the day and would have a lot of time to wander through threads that have yet to be replied to.
My third reason is that I simply wish to help out on the site. I'm extremely good at graphics. Here are just a few examples. Once my teacher puts our websites on his server like he promised, (I hope to god that's soon) I'll be able to really show off. I'm good at general HTML/CSS and BBCcoding so I can happily help out with site layouts/banners/advertisements. Graphics aside, I want to be able to help other moderators and roleplayers alike to really enjoy this site.
- Are you an active member of this site and do you have some understanding of the rules and procedures of the site to be able to moderate threads?
I believe that I do. As Andrew knows, (as well as a few others, hah!) I ask questions if I don't understand something. I ended up keeping the whole "How To Play" section bookmarked so I can refer back to it if something confuses me. I've read over the rules quite a few times and I've got a real good knowledge of how things generally work.
As for activity, I believe I'm pretty active. I check this site at least once a day to see if I have anything to reply to. As of today, and a couple other days recently I've sat here with this site open in a tab refreshing ever half an hour or so. If I am a moderater, I will be extremely active, and devote at least an hour or two daily (more if needed, of course) to helping out around the site
- Have you had any past experience as a staff member on another roleplaying site or have you taken up a role of responsibility in the past?
I have an insane amount of experience. I mentioned in a thread I had created a few weeks ago that I had many, many years of RPing experience. I started at the tender age of nine or ten, and now I'm seventeen. That's quite a few years. Even before I learned how to roleplay, I used to write short stories and poems. If someone would like examples, I can happily provide them. (The newer stuff I mean, the old stuff is horrid) For the first two or three years into my roleplaying adventure I was stuck with pokemon roleplays. Sadly, those seemed to die pretty quickly. I then moved on to Harry Potter ones and even to real-life ones, which I wasn't fond of. They were a good outlet though. I then was on Gaia roleplaying a lot. I'm great at original plots and such.
I have been an admin, a global mode, a general mod, and a regular user on sites that no longer exists sadly on numerous sites. So the links are void. I am however, going to leave a few links to sites I have found and such.
I believe those are some good examples of my roleplaying skills.
Now, for some original ones I tried to start. Most didn't work because they were all on Gaia. >_> The Secret Wars The Secret Wars, tried again. Dreaming of Love Club Vampire

Are these applications still open? I know I have just joined but I have experience as an RPG Moderator and when I get more posts on here I could apply if you are still accepting.

They are very much still open and we're happy to accept new mods of the required skill. Once you've become more established, feel free to leave and application We have a waiting period of two weeks before you're allowed to give it a go.

Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu?
I would like to be a moderator for several reasons. First of all, another moderator would lessen the workload overall for all mods. Also, I love to help out, and I love the volunteer feel of the moderator position here. I volunteer a lot in real life, and to volunteer my roleplaying skills to help keep a site like this active would be awesome. Finally, I simply love to roleplay, and if I was a moderator, I would have the chance to be much more active on the site.
Are you an active member of this site and do you have some understanding of the rules and procedures of the site to be able to moderate threads?
I am active – I’m usually online at least once a day, and I often sign in for an hour or two in the morning, leave, and come back in the evening. At times, I leave the site open and simply refresh at odd intervals. I can say without a doubt that since I joined, there was maybe two or three days that I wasn’t online at least once throughout the day. I’m always down in the chat when I’m on the site; if I don’t respond, it’s usually because I’m posting on the site or something else. I always try to post in my thread as soon as I notice a reply or shortly thereafter.
As for the rules, I’ve read them and reread them a number of times, and have a fairly good understanding of them. I’ll be honest, I’m a little foggy on a couple of small aspects of the moderator side of battles, but I’m a quick learner. I plan on reading the battle rules a few more times and asking questions.
Have you had any past experience as a staff member on another roleplaying site or have you taken up a role of responsibility in the past?
I don’t have a lot of experience as a staff member. At one point on a Bleach rpg, I was a profile mod, which pretty much meant I was reviewing profiles and accepting them, and that’s it. From that experience, I’ve become pretty proficient at reading apps and picking out things that don’t fit the established canon. I have also attempted to create a couple of sites with a friend, but they usually died in the creation stages as our plot ideas were too outlandish and isolated for a widespread rpg.

Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu?
Mods are dropping like flies, and we just generally need more mods around here. Sides it's time I put in my fair-share instead of sitting around and eating grapes whilst I'm fan by my maidens and I'm already delusional so it works anyways, but seriously I wanna contribute to a site that's been treating me pretty well and make it the best it can be.Besides everyone told me to, so they can't hate me too much. So I'll go ahead and go out on a limb and say I'm likable. Also due to Arz's departure, it's come to everyone's attention that there's still all sorts facets to the RP that need to be taken care of(Rockets,Contests, IPO stuff of that nature) and I wanna help with that too, cuz honestly how cool would it be to have the IPO and the Rockets up? Can anyone say RIOT?! >> Anyways. Generally I wanna stop sitting around and making suggestions for people to do and actually implement something myself.
Are you an active member of this site and do you have some understanding of the rules and procedures of the site to be able to moderate threads?
I'm more than active, I like live here, I'm usually on here all hours of the time. Usually from 8-12ish on a good day. The only times I'll probably ever be offline is if my hands get broken, or I'm attempting to make you think I have a life, other than that I'm usually on being very.. "vocal." . I'm lazy, but I do reply in my threads and they usually make it to at least 3-5 paragraphs at the minimum. I've been over the rules and all that I've missed I've been bonked on the head and reminded of. Still iffy on the whole RNG and 1/6 thing, but that can be fleshed out in a test I believe.
Have you had any past experience as a staff member on another role playing site or have you taken up a role of responsibility in the past?
I was a mod on an old Harry Potter site that was left for dead, until circumstances surrounding the new site's death forced us back towards the old one. So I was labeled G-mod and we cleaned up the site and brought it from A spam infected hellhole to a slightly average site. Though there weren't many members and the site is very bleh, I did get my fair share of lengthy apps, so I'm good at snaking out details. I fought my fair share of trolls, so I know how to respond tactfully when the situation calls for it. Had a site of my own medieval themed, but it died to due to the unfortunate circumstance of trends dieing and interest fading. So bleh. Also I was once on a fantasy board(vampires, wolves that nature.) that got a random influx of apps one day, the admin asked me and a few other members to go over them to figure out which were worth accepting and such seeing as there was only one mod on at the time. So.. yeah. Also worth mentioning, my twelve year old autistic sister. If I can handle her you guys ain't got nothing!
If I need to flesh out the horrible awesome attempts at humour, let me know and I will.

Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu?
The benefits? More seriously, I believe the website needs more staff for it's ever fluctuating member base. More staff equals more potentially satisfied members right? Another thing that be beneficial is I'm not exactly on a set schedule, allowing me to be able to mod where others in my timezone might not be able too due to having to sleep after all. My insomnia also helps there, so it should be alright.
Are you an active member of this site and do you have some understanding of the rules and procedures of the site to be able to moderate threads?
I'm somewhat active, again since I don't have a set schedule I pop up at random times. I do try to check on the site atleast a couple times every 24 hours. This is mainly for checking on my own thread or using the cbox as of now though.
On the rules I have a understanding of them as any member would and if I become staff I'll begin to commit them to memory better. Plus I can ask questions and look at the rule thread still if I'm unsure.
Have you had any past experience as a staff member on another role playing site or have you taken up a role of responsibility in the past?
I've got a decent amount of experience in staff positions, the necessity of which varied. My longest position has been on a Gundam board, in which I was picked up around the end of 07 I believe, it's now currently on hiatus though. Alex could give you a better reference since I met him on the site there. From there I've been called on to help on sites that normally didn't last long.
There was this other one, that lasted a bit longer then the others, but it imploded on itself. I'm also probably not as strict as I should be but I try to get the job done at the end of the day.

I decide to give this a shot, since Scott seemed to think I could ;D I hope I can actually Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu?Well, I really like this site! there is no pressure of word count, and room for everyone to grow. I like RP'ing and I would love to help others ^^ I've been to many other sites and I'm still roaming around, to see how things are on other sites (and to find one where Joey hasn't put the add on ) But very few sites have the space to give others a change to grow, or such a great system of battling and helping out others. Most newbies are left to die, it's either run with the crowd, and leave. This site doesn't have that, it's great to see how everyone is allowed to learn and enjoy himself at their own speed. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that? + I really want to learn more about linking and that kind of stuff XD Are you an active member of this site and do you have some understanding of the rules and procedures of the site to be able to moderate threads?I think I'm an active member. I think I do. I've been here for a while now, and I now fully understand how the battle system works. Only the lvl-thing might have some homework for me, but I'm familiar with Random.org (as a HARPG-player, that's a must XD) and the systems that are used with Random.org. Have you had any past experience as a staff member on another role playing site or have you taken up a role of responsibility in the past?Their is a first time for everything! I've tried to make my own RP several time before, but it always failed. So this would be my first time in helping out on a running site. I've messed around on those, I'm starting to understand fairly well. Just don't put me in charge of the skins, without explaining a little bit on them XD In HARPG(http://horseart-rpg.deviantart.com/), I do own my own groups in witch I organize and collect Artwork the wright way. (my groups: harpg-uoa.deviantart.com/ & ha-dba.deviantart.com/)Why would ZapdosZulu want me as Moderator?I think I'm pretty creative, I don't mind learning, and although I have the horrible habit of wanting to do things my way, it's just the best way for me to find out how things work. And it tends to work out just fine ^^ I'm honest and loyal, that's good right?

I thought I'll take a shot at this. (: Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu?I would enjoy being a moderator at Zapdos Zulu for the following two reasons. - I enjoy being a moderator for the love of helping other people with posts. Since I am very active, getting on every day from morning to late afternoon, I can reply to many more posts then a school day.
- Another suggestion is the fact I strive to be more literate, practicing my typing by replying to threads. In a way, I feel that I could do much better than what I have been doing. As a moderator, though, I will take more time to thoroughly read through the threads and reply with all I can.
Are you an active member of this site and do you have some understanding of the rules and procedures of the site to be able to moderate threads?Oh, but of course. I wouldn't apply if I didn't read and understand the rules. I re-read all the rules, mostly because I might not be sure about a certain segment. I read the procedures constently, just in case they might change when I'm not looking. Also, being active is my nickname. I'm on the computer for about seven hours a day, mostly in the morning, and almost all day on the weekends. Although, I just recently joined a gym, so I'm going to be gone on either Saturday or Sunday. Have you had any past experience as a staff member on another roleplaying site or have you taken up a role of responsibility in the past?Where do I begin? I am in a place of authority on four sites, and just an ordinary member on one (other than this wonderful site). - I am secondary admin to a wonderful Warriors role play, inspired by the famous Erin Hunter series. The site is called The Warrior Way and very active. I patrol the site daily, and reply to as many posts as possible. My name on the site is Dusty.
- I am also an admin to a different Warriors role play site, made by Lora, a member on The Warrior Way. The name is Scourgestar's Reign, and I'm also Dusty.
- I am not an admin on this site, but I am a global moderator to Ranto Region. I'm the Gym Leader named Leader Hawaki, and I am constently active.
- Finally, I am a Global Moderator on the last site, also made by the Warriors series. The name is Even as Odd, and the username I have is Icy, my true nickname.
I would like to say, thank you for reading my application.
