Since the fifth Generation has been confirmed anyone else excited. I cannot wait but at least we will have HG and SS until the 5th Gen comes out.

I'm looking forward to it but that's because i'm a rabid fan. I know a few people are actually looking towards generation V with trepidation and fear. There are meant to be some serious gameplay changes with the official Japanese announcement site mentioning an entire rehaul or something pertaining to that.
I'm also pretty sure that generation V won't be on the DS. Perhaps the next handheld Nintendo seem to be hinting at here and there with press releases. It also seems pretty obvious. It's been declared for the end of this year the new generation and the Nintendo media summit is coming up soon. With all the press and coverage it's perfect timing for an announcement. Still, i'm pretty sad if they will announce a new successor. The DS has a lot of momentum and I love mine to death.
Oh and while returning back on subject... Zorua and Zoroark don't look all that bad. Having a werewolf related Pokemon makes a nice edition. Just wish it was Dark/Fire. Just to vary up the type pool.

Hm, looks like you might have to. By my estimations a DS successor will likely be out by this December in Japan therefore sometime next year we'll see the successor. Still, as much as I hate for a successor to be made it has been out for years now. But the fact it has such momentum and is a nice little system stands testament to how good it is.
I do wish they'd release a moveset or something for Zoroark.

I saw this cool looking Pokemon on Serebii. At first I thought it was a new Eeveevolution. Then I saw that it had an evolved form.

I have heard alot of heavy rumors of a DS2 which is what the 5th gen is said to be released on. I would like a new DS but I can only wonder what the price will be and then if it Can play DS and GBA games.

I think it's fake. They wouldn't even have info on it right now, since the DSi XL hasn't even been released yet.

I'd beg to differ. A lot of patents have been showing up on the internet all sourced back to Nintendo. It's coming, believe it. And Jamie, you could say the same thing about the GBA last generation. They announced Gameboy Micro and literally within the same year the DS was released. In fact it may have even been the same time period. The DSi XL is nothing more than an attempt to try and entice more of the older generations to start playing video games. I mean, why else call one of the colours wine red? ;D

"I'd like to introduce you to another new Pokémon title, which should become one of the most anticipated Nintendo DS titles for this year. The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo have been developing a new Pokémon title with the aim to launch the software this year.
The cumulative global sales of all the Pokémon series software have reached 130 million. This new Pokémon software will become the first brand new Pokémon title in 4 years since Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, which sold more than 5.8 million units in Japan, was launched.
Of course, this totally new Pokémon title will include new fields of adventure and a number of new Pokémons living there. As a totally new version, it will contain various unprecedented experiences."
I forgot where I got this from. But the new title is defently for the ds. And we probably won't get it for a year after Japan does.

Serebii has mentioned that they plan on having new info up for this new generation by the 11th of this month. Oh, and if Japan gets it this year, then we'll get it spring of next year. They did it with Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver if you haven't noticed.

I forgot where I got this from. But the new title is defently for the ds. And we probably won't get it for a year after Japan does. I still wouldn't accept that as total confirmation of it being for the DS. Remember, this announcement from Gamefreak came out a while before the 3DS was announced. If they had announced it as 3DS then eyebrow's would have been raised. The whole "unprecedented experiences" bit sounds a bit suspect to me too. Just what ELSE can they do with the DS to warrant saying "unprecedented"? Sounds like a new system job to me. Plus with the 3DS being out in Japan by the end of this year or so sources are pointing towards... Wouldn't this act as a a killer app the 3DS would need to sell like hotcakes? The evidence just seems to stack it up as a 3DS title. Either way, we'll find out in a matter of months.

Well, it won't be like as-if the 3DS will be mandatory to have. I'm not sure if they'll even make this new game for the 3DS... though honestly, it would probably help them promote the new handheld.
