If those are real those are the WEIRDEST starters yet. (Brings out Luger and fires at screen).

I can tell you that I am 100% that those Pokemon listed in your link are FAKE. I know this because I saw his work on dA over a year ago with those Pokemon and he is not affiliated with Nintendo or Gamefreak. The artist made all those Pokemon for his own fictional region and while they are all fantastic, you will never see them in an official game.
I also call into question your youtube video since all the official sites list the shadows posted in this thread as official. Video probably got photoshopped considering its a still frame with no movement. Can't believe everything you see on the internet.

What types do you think they are? nr 1 could be grass, 2 could be fire and 3 water. 3 looks like a penguin, I hope they don't give an other water pokemon penguin as starter. is it just me, or does nr2 make anyone think of Spoink and Grumpig?

The first one I posted doesn't look too bad. I was sort of under the impression it could be a lizard/venus fly trap Grass Pokemon but bets are off at this point.
They all look pretty odd. I'd hazard to say the third silhouette could be an otter maybe? The middle one reminds me of a pig and I remember seeing a fan's idea of what the family tree would look for that. In the end they had this really cool Fire Pig Pokemon. ;D
Not long now before we see their official designs though. They're scheduled for this weekend I believe. I think CoroCoro might leak them first as opposed to Pokemon Sunday.

May want to get your codings fixed there, Misty. Kinda hard to figure out what the image is. On a side note, it i famous enough to be on Serebii's fake Pokemon list. www.serebii.net/fakes/

I haven't seen those depictions before, but then I haven't been looking for any to begin with. I know that when the real ones are revealed it will be widespread among the big websites. Surprised people thought those were real because while they are of good quality, the light effects are too rough among other things. Seems this train of though for what the type of starters will be is uniform for many. This was the first I found and I like it as a fan rendering.

Hey. News flash, you guys. Information leaked on the new starter Pokemon and we've got their pictures right here. From left to right, we have "Tsutaja" the grass snake Pokemon, "Pokabu" the fire pig Pokemon, then lastly we have "Mijumaru" the sea otter Pokemon. Yeah... they are... interesting. The region name is also known... the Isshu Region. And finally, we have the trainers. I have mixed feelings about the female there. But she is still better than Lyra, no doubt.

They don't look TOO bad... Apart from Mr.Sea Otter who's shell looks awfully disturbing if you look at it the wrong way. I have SOME hope for Smugsnake and Firepig. Hell, i'm torn between those two. What might tip the scales is if the translated name for one of the Firepig's evolutions is something like PIGNITION. Hot damn, I would pick that up in a heartbeat! I wonder if Smugsnake will be a Grass/Poison or Grass/Dragon affair at the end of its line. Speculation, speculation! New trainers don't look too bad. The male looks okay aside from his pokey-out-the-sides hair but other than that nothing too annoying. The female trainer though... DEFINITELY better than Lyra. Just a shame she has somewhat pineapple styled hair.

I'm rather fond of the firepig thing myself, asides the fact that the whole cast looks a *LOT* more cartoonier than the previous critters. This will probably be the first time I don't pick a Water Starter, since that sea otter is a little too retarded strange-looking for my liking. Seriously, what? So much for a fire Tanuki X3
The female trainer is hot, quite simply put. They did mention on serebii that these two are considerably older than their original ten-year olds runing around previous regions, which could probably have contributed to the female's jailbait look. The (lack of) length of those daisy duke jeans is near-criminal, but I am most definitely not complaining. There's....something rather distinctively 'American' with the whole design for the two though I just can't put my finger on it. The feel is a lot different compared to the prevous trainers

They don't look to bad. The seaotter thing is kinda cute, with it's sad look. But the fire thing? it's wearing UNDERWEAR! The grass snake isn't bad at all. Now, to hope for some nice evolutions. I agree with Joey, I hope it's some good combo for the snake grazzy. I really like the female trainer's outfit, just the hair.. Let it down! no ponytails! ... Am I the only one that thinks she's got Cherrim leafs on her pants?

After having some more time to take them in, I must admit Grass Snake and Firepig do have some charm to them. Well, in Firepig's case its the evolution possibilities of its tree that interest me. Plus the names just seem to write themselves! If we take Grass Snake's smug personality you can write a whole list of names out for its evolutionary tree: Smugleaf - Snobbush - Conseeded Firepig could go something like: Pignite - Emboar - Keroswine ;D Haha the cherrim shorts are a pretty good observation. In all honesty I think they do point towards a new Pokemon design possibly. Just seems too much of a design quirk to pass up on I guess. Thankfully this time around their hats aren't all that outlandish. Lucas' and Lyra's were irksome. I'm also pretty amazed to see Gamefreak have decided to add Black NPC sprite characters. It's about bloody time if you ask me. I was starting to think that Gamefreak were xenophobes. ;D
