'Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur!' Honou turned her head at the odd sounding cry of the grass-type starter. It didn't sound like any Bulbasaur she had heard before. If anything, it sounded like a Bulbasaur with pneumonia. 'What in the world?' she thought, and looked up when she heard flapping wings. An oddly colored bird appeared, and she growled. 'Why must it always be a bird?' And it continued that annoying squawking. She slashed at it frustratedly, and let frustrated smoke spill from her nose.
All the Pokemon looked up as they heard the noisy bird approach. “What I want to know is how these things aren't caught by predators at birth. They are by far the most noisiest Pokemon besides Loudred.” she grumbled, gesturing Yokina forward. She had a plan. Put Yokina in to gain both a level and friendship, switch her out, and send out Belle, who was strong enough to beat the blue feathered avian. This would also gain her some friendship, as well as some levels. She smiled at Yokina, and gave an order; “Yokina, ThunderShock!” the Pichu cried out and sparked, cheeks lighting up, before leaping up and aiming her tail at the wild avian, shooting off electricity.

With Yokina's quick jolt of her weak electricity, the Chatot was fried and was down. The blue feathered bird collapsed on the floor and fainted, passed out. The Pichu was squeaking angrily at how annoying the bird was and sooner or later it needed to be zapped by lightning, either from her or a storm anyways. The bird laid still and lifeless at first, but then it suddenly stood up, and squawked apologetically. Chatot looked wishfully at Halet's eyes, and chirped, wondering if it could join her team and train under her.
Yokina OHKO Chatot! She gained 1 level and is now 14! She gained 2 happiness with Soothe Bell! Now +3! The fainted Chatot can be captured! Haley let out a loud cheer as the tiny mouse's electric shock worked, frying the Chatot and knocking it out. Apparently, it had annoyed Yokina more than it had Haley, as she was growling and glaring at the smoldering pile of blue feathers. 'I'm glad I got rid of that annoying chicken! It needed a good zap, either from me or from a storm! I mean, what self respecting Pokemon thinks it is another?' she squeaked, then leaped up to Haley's shoulders.
Haley and her Pokemon were startled when the lifeless bird suddenly staggered to its talons and gave an apologetic chirp, meeting the girls eyes. 'Oh no, don't even think about it!' Yokina growled, staring at Haley. The girl snickered and grabbed an unoccupied Poke Ball, tossing it at the bird and causing it to be encased in the red light. It was pulled in, and Yokina grumbled unhappily.

The wind seemed to be quiet breezy as it carried a single kind of pokemon in the wind with it. The pokemon was a large pink mass and had a variety of leaves on top of its forehead that looked like propellers from a helicopter. The leaves were used to propel the pokemon around and also help it stay stable in the air. As the wind started to die down the Hopip braced itself as the pokemon came down with a soft thud as it landed in the grass. The Hopip now seemed confused on where it was, this clearly was a different place and an unfamiliar area. The Hopip realized that it had not been in this area before and knew that home was probably miles around. "Hop, hip hop?" It called out in confusion as it looked around. Not far there was a trainer that seemed to be battling a Chatot. The Hopip seemed rather frightened as the battle and noises continued. However its long leaves ended up rustling the bushes and foliage that was near it making and adding to the noise. It was just bound to be spotted by the trainer that had just won the battle. A Hopip (Level 6) has been carried in by the wind and seems lost. Do you want to battle it?

Haley frowned as the wind whipped her hair, grabbing a hair tie from her wrist she pulled her hair back and tied it. Honou sniggered, causing her trainer to glare at her. “At least my hair won't burn anything,” Honou's eyes widened and she turned to look at her flame, which was scorching the rocks nearby her. 'Oops.' she tucked her tail in close to her and was grateful that she had scales so no one could see she was blushing.
Haley pulled out four Poke Balls, returning Belle, Yokina, Sentaku, and Taka. “I wonder what Pokemon we will find next? Or will it be a trainer?” she asked. Honou shrugged, while Skyjewel leaped into the air, happily navigating the air currents. Haley smiled at the usually stiff rare avian, glad that she was beginning to trust her.
Suddenly, there was a loud rustling noise nearby, and Haley turned. She saw a round pink creature with large, luxurious leaves. Haley grabbed her Pokedex and aimed it at the creature. “Hoppip, the Cottonweed Pokemon. To keep from being blown away by the wind, they gather in clusters. But they do enjoy gentle breezes.”
“It must have been separated from its group,” Haley pondered aloud. She pulled a Poke Ball from her belt and tossed it into the air. It popped open, and a red beam of light formed a cocoon like creature, off-white in color. “Sentaku, use Poison Sting!” she ordered.

It didn't seem dangerous until Hoppip heard a little electronic voice. No, No, it wasn't hearing it in its head, it came from these colorful device it had seen trainers carrying around before. A...well, it didn't know what they were called, just that trainers often carried them around. Was she going to try to capture it? Hoppip shuddered as Sentaku was sent out, sitting on the field across from it idly. It didn't seem like a threat, but Hoppip knew better. It probably had something hidden. And it did. Once Sentaku became comfortable with the surroundings, it released a string of sharp Poison needles, most of which embedded themselves into Hoppip, who let out a shrill cry for help. It wanted out for this mess. But its little pod was too far away to hear it. This was a bother. It didn't know how to do much. Oh, but maybe this move! It could feel Poison seeping through its veins as it attempted to flail around, to cause some disturbance. Nothing...maybe splash wasn't such a good move after all... ------------ Haley's Sentaku |Level 9| Health: 30/30 HP Status: Normal Attack: Posion Sting! VS.

Sentaku blinked when he was suddenly sent out of his Poke Ball, yawning. He had been taking a nap, but oh well. He'd rather be working on evolving then taking a nap. And he could sense he was so near evolving too! His crimson eyes flicked around as he formed on the ground, trying to understand where he was while keeping his opponent, a small pink thing with green leaves, in sight.
Suddenly, his trainer, whom he had almost forgotten about, called an order. He hopped, and opened his mouth wide, forming the poisonous spines in his throat. Once they were fully formed, Sentaku took a deep breath and launched them at the Hoppip. Most landed, striking their target, and successfully poisoning it. Haley, Honou, and Sentaku all flinched at the screeching cry that the Hoppip let out.
Haley tilted her head as the Hoppip flailed around. 'What in the world is it doing? Is it trying to attack?' she pulled out her Pokedex once more. “Splash:The user just flops and splashes around to no effect at all...”
“Okay then...” Haley muttered, brows furrowed, while Honou sniggered. Haley reached into her backpack, and pulled out a small Poke Ball, pressing on its button to enlarge it. She bit her lip, then tossed the Poke Ball at the Hoppip, crossing her fingers. “C'mon, please take...”

The lost and poisoned Hoppip had no idea what was going on today. First it got lost, and then it encountered this trainer with an electric robot, got poisoned by a white cocoon, and now, about to be captured by the infamous capture device. The red and white metallic sphere hit the grass type in the head, and in a quick warp of light, it entered the Poke Ball. The Pokeball rolled to the right... The nauseating Hoppip tried to get out. The Pokeball wobbled to the left... The poisoned Hoppip just don't have the strength to fight anymore, it gave up trying to escape, waiting to see what fate awaits it in the new life of trainer's Pokemon. Ding! The Pokeball stopped rolling, resting still on the ground, awaiting for Haley to pick up. Just as the wild Pokemon was finished struggling with the capture device, Sentaku's body glowed a bright, white color... He's about to evolve!
Sentaku gained 2 levels for defeating Hoppip! He is now level 11! ........ ....... He is evolving into a Beautifly, intervene? (He's past level 10 so he cannot learn Absorb.)Congratulations! Wild Hoppip had been captured! Haley gave a wide smile when the Poke Ball tapped the Hoppip on the head, enveloping it in a cloud of energy. She felt a slight pull of guilt for attacking the docile Pokemon, who obviously hadn't wanted to battle, but shook it off. The wild Pokemon world ran under the law of the wild; survival of the fittest. If she had left the Hoppip be, it would surely have fallen prey to a Pokemon who wouldn't.
The Poke Ball begin the infamous rolls. It rolled right... it rolled left... and it Ding'ed, signalling a successful counter. Haley gave another wide smile, stepping forward to pick it up, only to stare as Sentaku once more began to glow a bright white. His form began to warp and change, growing longer in places, shorter in others, gaining new appendages and loosing others. Soon, a beautiful large Beautifly fluttered in front of her, seeming to look himself over. 'I think this can work,' Sentaku thought, giving a grin.
“Great job Sentaku, you evolved!” Haley cheered, Honou doing the same. The fire-type smiled happily at her team mate, proud of him. Haley carefully enveloped him in a hug, making sure not to harm his wings, though she knew that they weren't as gentle as they appeared. However, as he shivered, she began to notice the frost that dusted the ground.
“Oops,” she chuckled, rubbing the back of her neck in embarressment. “I didn't notice the frost, Sentaku, I don't think the cold's good for you. I know you want to try out your new body, but I'm scared the cold will hurt you.” she reached into her pocket, and pulled out his Poke Ball, returning the bug-type.
“Okay Honou, let's go to the Pokemon Center, then look around the city.” she declared, recalling the avian as well. She watched as the Hoppip's ball vanished, heading to the lab. The fire-type shrugged, and followed her trainer to the Nurse Joy manned building. She pulled out the Beautifly's Poke Ball and put it into the PC, trusting the technology to protect her beloved Pokemon. She took out her Sandshrew's Poke Ball, releasing the ground-type onto the floor before tucking away the Poke Ball. She knew that Honou, being a hot blooded fire-type, and Sandy, with her scales and fire-typing, would be fine in the cold, but didn't want to expose the others to it.
After making sure that everything was secure and safe, she left the Pokemon Center.

As Haley had captured more and more Pokemon, her life surely got busier! Even in this cold weather, she still remain her enjoyment of traveling with her Pokemon, some of them out in the cold. As the weather began to chill, the sky began precipitating some white frost. First it was the lamppost and rooftops that got covered in light amount of snow, and then the ground too, was also covered in snow. Gradually, just as one would thought the snow would keep on falling, it stopped. A blue avian, with some feathers covered in the frost, was even more hot-headed in the snow. The seasonal change did not bother it at all. The small bird chirped beautifully while gliding in the air, and then suddenly dipped downward by the increasing weight of snow on its back. The bird cawed by the surprise, shaking up the snow off its back, and noticed that right in front of it was Haley and her Pokemon. The Taillow gradually slowed down and faced the trainer majestically, with its wings spread open, readied to take a hit.
A wild (Level 7) Taillow appeared!

Haley frowned as she noticed the frost on the ground. While pretty, and creating an effect that would definitely bring tourists to the area, it made her already precarious walk even more dangerous. She grabbed her foldable cane from her belt and pressed the button on the side, watching as it extended and hit the ground. She leaned on it and sighed in relief, knowing that it would help her not slip and fall, and help take the weight off her bad leg.
She looked around, and saw the trees, lampposts, and roofs were covered in the frosty white, and she debated letting her Pokemon out to play. She knew they would love it, but feared angering the civilians by destroying the beautiful scene.
However, the frost had not deterred all Pokemon. A blue avian, the normal form of her Skyjewel, suddenly let out a chirp that seemed loud in the crisp silence. The girl with hair the same color as the gleaming snow looked up, seeing the avian being weighed down by the pesky snow. 'Would seem snow doesn't hate only me.' she thought with a wry chuckle. Sandy and Honou looked up at the sound of their trainers chuckle, and saw the struggling bird. They watched as it dramatically came down, and when they both stepped forward, Haley shooed them back.
Haley grabbed a Poke Ball from her belt, enlarging it. 'Let's hope this works!' she thought, before leaning heavily on her Lucario-head cane as she tossed the Poke Ball forward. It popped open, and the red beam formed an avian nearly identical to the foe, except for this one had a beautiful jade coloration and it was a bit weaker. “You can do this Sky! Use Peck!” she called, and the shiny avian scowled, leaping into the air.

The hostile Taillow did not see another Taillow coming into its direction. Even the cold weather did not stop the Taillow and Haley from warming up with a battle. The jade colored Taillow and the blue colored Taillow took to the sky, both chirping and challenging each other. The blue bird managed to hit first, striking the green bird with its amazing speed and equally same-sized beak. Skyjewel shook off the pain, and returned an equally powerful Peck, after a careful aim toward the opponent bird. After the first exchange of attacks, the birds seemed to be circling, and Sky waited for Haley's next move.

Haley watched the duo as they took to the sky, challenging each other in their own language. Skyjewel twirled and taunted, slashing the air with her talons. 'Come on you stupid ordinary Taillow, show me what you got! I'll tear out your ugly blue feathers and beat you into the ground!' she crowed, only to receive a painful peck from the wild Pokemon.
She gave an angered screech as she was knocked off course, but shook off the pain as she watched one of her jade feathers float to the ground. She took careful aim, focusing in on the other avian, then launched forward and slammed her beak into the soft flesh of her opponent.
The trainer tilted her head as she watched the duo circle like a pair of predators, watching the other for a move. Haley knew that Sky was the weaker and slower of the two, and doubted that she could win. She knew that Sky would give her grief for this, but she would rather have the bird give her grief then have the bird faint.
“Sky, return!” she called, pulling out the birds Pokeball before she could object and hitting the button, the red light popping out and pulling the avian back into the capsule. She nodded to her fire-type partner, who charged forward and bared her fangs, waiting for a command. “Honou, use Ember! she just wanted this battle to be over and done with.

The Taillow cawed. Just what was this human doing? Whatever it was, she was making it angry. Another caw raged from the Taillow as the Charmander appeared. Honou stared at it, and began running as it dove for her, One peck, two pecks, and Honou cried out. One of them had been hard enough to Poke a hole in her skin. She rubbed at the raw spot before angrily crying out to the Taillow. What was its deal?! She breathed in deeply and turned to face the other Pokemon with a small growl. Breathing in harshly, she fired several smoldering embers, effectively knocking the Pokemon from the sky, although it was back up in seconds. Despite how weak it was, it seemed determined not to give up, and not to back down from this fight, and Honou didn't understand why.

Haley scowled, digging her nails into her palms as she watched the feral Pokemon fold its wings and dive, picking up speed as it neared her precious lizard. It struck Honou painfully with its beak, and clung onto her scales with its talons, driving its sharp beak into her skin. Hearing Honou's cry, she drew her own blood when she clenched her hands, and narrowed her eyes at the bird.
'I will do this!' thought Honou as she rubbed at the sore spot, beginning to scowl. She bared her teeth as she conjured flames in the back of her throat, then shot them at the bird, who crashed to the ground. However, it was only a battle in a war, for the bird was back up in moments, and the fight was back on. She turned back to her master, waiting to see what she was to do.
Haley frowned, wondering if she should risk her Pokemon's further pain by attempting a status move, or if she should switch out, then changed her mind against both. “No,” she growled aloud. Then, her eyes widened. “Honou, Ember again!”
