The sheer determination exerted by Electrike hadn't gone unnoticed, but no good deed went unpunished. In an unknown blunder, the hound had paralyzed Delphine but faced the repercussions of having it thrown back in sync with Electrike as well. It was one thing, being low on health. However, adding a condition to that only made things harder for Electrike. And, on top of that, balls had been thrown. It was a dangerous game, and one that Electrike wasn't having all too much fun participating in. The game seemed to be boring the trainer as well, who had made moves to leave Electrike alone where it stood. It was an easy pick at this point, but if it were given the ability to flee it probably had enough time to get out before it became a meal or an easy catch. At least Delphine had done some work, even if it had been super easy.
However, the Psychic Pokemon refused to back down, practically forcing her trainer to throw yet another ball. This one assumingly stronger than the next. Rumors swirled of the different types of capturing devices, but to be fair, those that spread the rumors hadn't been captured yet. Electrike snarled and faced this ball like the previous: Something it could escape from. But, upon further contemplation, would it rather be out here to face Delphine's rage? Or would it be best just to disappear into the Pokeball and dodge a scathing attack? Electrike shook it's head from side to side as if shaking water off itself. That was ridiculous talk, there. Blue meant nothing different. The ball was just as weak as red.
Although it disappeared into the Great Ball with a brilliant flash of red and white light, Electrike was used to the drill. All it had to do was rock the boat just enough to tip over and let itself out. However, as the Pokeball shook from the Pokemon's impacts, Electrike began to panic in the small space. The ball continued to shake until the cold realization hit Electrike. It had been bested, and by a reluctant trainer no less. Either way, there was no getting out of the great ball, despite the three desperate attempts.
Successful capture!
