Do you have a question about roleplaying that you would like to ask a staff member or veteran of ZZ? Perhaps you would like some advice about the best strategies to defeat Bugsy. We can help you rate your team, talk about tips and tricks for training your Pokémon and point out some hidden secrets that not many people are aware of. Lost in Ilex Forest or stuck in the middle of a quest? No problem! Helpful members of the community are always here to support you on your journey to greatness. Pro Tip #1:Did you know you can exploit the Pokémon Radar rule to speed up the grind of training up your Pokémon? The rule allows you to select any Common or Uncommon Pokémon in the area as your encounter once your thread reaches 5 pages in length. This means that you can capitalise on type weaknesses (e.g. picking Pidgeottos to encounter while training your electric types). Using this method, you are allowed to attack and request Pokémon encounters in the same move (same post) which could lead to some quick 1HKOs. However, this comes with its own unique risk as if a Pokémon happens to a shiny, you risk knocking it out and missing your chance to capture it! Pro Tip #2:Visiting the estates of other members is a great way of training your Pokémon but also encountering some unique Pokémon early in the roleplay. You do not need an invitation, just head on over to an estate that takes your fancy and its owner will more than likely be glad to roleplay with you! What are some of your tips and tricks?

tip #3: if you have an old rod, feel free to fish some magikap and speed OHKO them. (or, 3 hits and less KO) #4: if you're training low level pokemon, have the higher level pokemon put a status/hit first to take out most or certain amount of health first, then switch in with the lower level pokemon to finish the attack. that way, the higher level still get participation and does some heavy work, while the lower level have lower chance to faint, as well as getting to finish the opponent and gain more exp. This is useful if the lower level pokemon is same or 1-2 levels higher than the opponent Pokemon.

Hey y'all, not sure if these questions count as a question here or the right place, but figured I'd try to get involved here again as I've been missing the site. 1. So, been a year; how does one reactivate their travels? I was mid encounter last time, so I figured I could just pick it up and go from there. Been trying to find where to get this info but having a small brain moment. Thread's here, for reference. 2. I've... sorta forgotten my password to my name on the cbox, not sure where else to poke mods about this in all honesty. Though this isn't really a question more than it is support, does anyone know how I could go about getting things back here? 3. (Related to 1) - Are there any other steps I need to reactivate things?

Hi Sans, good to see you back ^^
1: You just ask to get it moved from archieves to active. You can pm a mod, make a "request mod" thread or ask in the cbox (the latter I'd make sure there is a mod around first though ^^). As for this case, I'll move it right away. 2: Good question, I got no clue. I'd contact Lamont and ask, but you can also make a new one if you want. 3: not really, it's just to jump straight into things again ^^

Thank you I appreciate it all. I tried to make other ones (re: cbox) but it locked me out saying /every/ name is taken, somehow, so I'm not sure what I've done there.

Cbox let's people register names so no one else can login under that name and we don't delete anyone unless it's a clear 'guest' account or inappropriate. I have gone and cleared the existing 'sans' so you may create a new one now if you wish.

I noticed that in the Happiness System's evolution guide, Chimecho has a time of day requirement. In the games, Budew/Riolu/Snom also have a time of day requirement, but it is not noted in the ZZ guide. Is that correct?

Thanks Jenesis, we'll just add the little * to those in the happiness guide. They evolve exactly like in the games (barring our adjusted happiness system) so are not included in the Evo Guide.

Question: I've been gone for two years (long story). Is there anything special I have to do to revive my character? I'm still trying to catch up, so I might have missed a rules thread on this.

Hi Toogee, if you want to continue where you left off, you just fill out a request form (using the request form) in this board with where the thread are and that you want it out of archieves ^^

I've got a dumb question someone may be able to help me with! Do we have a move reminder service or is that covered by the Move Tutor? And does the Generational Move Tutor in the festival qualify to teach forgotten moves? Thank you! ^^

Ah, what are you trying to achieve? The regular Move Tutor in Ecruteak is for Move Tutor moves as per the games from Gen 4+, and the festival tutor is for allowing any onsite pkmn to learn a move on the latest gen level-up learnset list up to their current level. Intended to allow the learning of any moves potentially missed cause of the new gen shifting them all around, but often used to also get access to those sweet OP Level 1 moves early ;D

I was seeing that some Pokemon like Clefable on Bulbapedia have moves listed under the level column labelled "Rem." which signifies they can only learn via the Move Reminder. Was wondering if the festival Move Tutor covers those moves as well or just those learnt at level 1. ^^

Ah! Just some special designation for the classic move re-learner; who is also in Ecruteak paired with the move deleter on ZZ. Blanked on those earlier.
The festival tutors are the exact same as the re-learner. All other gens just labelled those moves as Lv 1, so yeah they'd count. I'd guess current gen changed the label cause they got rid of breeding essentially.

Okay, can somebody help me out here please? I tried to add my new OC, Clem's, profile to my signatures at the bottom of every post I make, but for some reason it just ended up ruining 'em all. Is there some kind of new code that I should be using for something? If so, can someone please walk me through this step by step? I'm very lost right now.
