• Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu? I have been on the staff many times before and I am helping Anton with a project though without staff area access it is harder to be of much use. I was planing on waiting longer before reapplying but after Anton asked me for help with a project I felt it would be worth trying to reapply to make helping him a bit easier.

  Yes I have been on the staff here multiple times all the way up to Admin in the past.
  
  
• Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum? I am good at advertising and runing social media accounts.

• Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu? It looks like there's been an influx of members and I'd like to be able to pitch in too. It also gives me a chance to interact more with other people's adventures.
• Do you have a basic understanding of the rules and procedures to be able to moderate threads? Yeah, I think it's been 4~ weeks? I definitely understand the battle system and the shops and I have a handle on the arcade too.
• Have you had any past experience as staff, or some role of responsibility, on any roleplaying site in the past? I've been a game master for online RPs which involves some BBcoding and a lot of OOC maintenance, but otherwise, I've just always been a player.
• Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum?I can do some BBcode in case you ever need to format anything.

• Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu? To help out the community. I love roleplaying on ZapdosZulu and the community as a whole, and love being able to give back. I waited a while since I was still "returning" and knew I might have my hands full with my work but it looks like I should be able to find plenty of time to still be an active moderator - hopefully taking a thread or two every day (or other day). I do also have experience moderating the site before, but mostly I just like to help! I don't mind helping as just a license holder, but would definitely not mind stepping up more officially and helping out as well if ZZ could use it.
  
  
• Do you have a basic understanding of the rules and procedures to be able to moderate threads? I do believe I do! This doesn't mean that I don't still have plenty of room to learn and grow, because I definitely still do there too. ^^'

Experience as a staff member on ZapdosZulu in the past and experience on my old sites in the past as well, so yep. I've helped mod on The Pika Club (if anyone remembers that site), some random Proboards sites I've owned though most are no longer around to showcase, but my past/current mods that I do around here to try to help out would be my most recent examples.
  
  
• Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum? I'm dabbling in gifs currently and trying to help make the missing evolutions for our promotional Pokemon. I wouldn't mind helping out especially if I can get better at it as a whole. If there are monthly events or other events that the other staff would need help overseeing, I would be more than willing to step up and oversee them to help make sure everything is facilitated well. I can read most of the template codes just fine and work my way through them, so that doesn't scare me, lol. Pretty much anything that you might find useful that I do, I don't mind trying my best to help out. (*the gifs I can't promise will all be hits though, as this is a new avenue for me).

  There's been a few new members joining, and it seems the mods have their hands busy with the event and a lot of threads to reply to, so I wanted to offer a helping hand. I'm also almost always lurking about during the day and find myself with some time available at random moments of the day which I could use to help lighten the load.
  
  
• Do you have a basic understanding of the rules and procedures to be able to moderate threads?
  I believe so, but I'll always double check and read back through the rules to make sure I haven't missed anything. I've been around for almost three months, so hopefully I've picked it up alright.
  
  
• Have you had any past experience as staff, or some role of responsibility, on any roleplaying site in the past?
  I have! I've been a mod/admin on a number of RP Forums over the years (mostly Pokemon ones) and have even helped in designing/writing up a forum myself (although it didn't last very long). A few of the longer lived roles were on Laokia, Voyage and Godai where I helped out with mod/admin duties, writing up area/NPC descriptions, character reviews and general board development work.
  
  
• Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum?
  I know a fair bit about coding, so I could help maintain/update/create plugins/skins for the board. I do a little bit of sprite work so I can certainly lend a helping hand in that regard, although they may need fine tuning. I do some basic drawn art. I have experience with developing areas in a board/coming up with events/NPC's so I can certainly put my fingers to work typing up ideas and helping to flesh out areas of the board or potential future events that still need some work.

  I want to help out with with making threads, and maybe working on on developing more systems and holiday events!

  Yes!

  I was a trainee moderator here before. Before this I have been on many sites as a player and as moderator. 
• Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum?
  I can do little sprite edits and recoloring. I also like working on game systems. I think I am also a fairly competent writer! BBCode not the strongest, but I have a working knowledge of it!

I love writing, and I would rather be able to spend a bit more time doing that on here than being on a ton of other sites, especially since it can be really helpful. It'd be nice to help the senior staff when they're trying to do other things for the site!

Thanks so much for volunteering your time! You are definitely a welcome addition to our Trainee Program, however, we would like to let you settle in a bit longer before accepting you into the program if that's alright. Typically we ask for members to be active around the place for roughly a month before undertaking all that is moderation tasks; it can be quite daunting.

However! That doesn't mean you can't lend a hand in the meantime.

Can take a look at some of the recent Member Suggestions and offer advice on some of the current or potential ideas. Such as the 'Naming of Things', 'Job Board' prompts, feedback on Escapades, or the Shadow Pokemon idea.


There is also the Game Corner to take a look at. Active GC mods are always very valuable if that's of any interest and we could definitely start you off there (works toward Module 5 of the trainee program too!)
