- Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu? Honestly this site is one of the few Pokemon Sites I have always come to and it lets me feel home again. I know its weird but when it comes to Pokemon sites I feel like Zapdoszulu is home for me so I want to help out.
- Do you have a basic understanding of the rules and procedures to be able to moderate threads? Yep I've gone over the links, it sounds basic enough I'm have to get some hands on experince to get better because I feel like hands on is the best. <3
- Have you had any past experience as staff, or some role of responsibility, on any roleplaying site in the past? I did have a little bit with a past PKMN site but it died so I got to do like maybe one encounter before it died.
- Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum? Honestly I wish I could say yes but unless you count my charming personality? No

Thanks for volunteering and we really would love you on the modteam ^^ however you have only returned a couple of days ago and we'd like to see you stick around for a bit before putting the responsibility on your shoulders If you're still up for it in a weeks time, we'll set you up! If you want something to do in the meantime you are more than welcome to give your thoughts on the member suggestions. There is also the Game Corner to take a look at. Active GC mods are always very valuable if that's of any interest and we could definitely start you off there (works toward Module 5 of the trainee program too!)

- Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu?
I would like to be a moderator at ZapdosZulu for a few reasons. I enjoy helping people and providing support to their role playing endeavours. This includes things like narration in mod posts, helping applications, and general Janitorial work. However, I understand that helping people might also include actions that are not so positive, but are regardless in a player’s best interest. I also have a lot of free time and enjoy forum role playing sites as my hobby, and keeping the hobby running is very important to me, as I see it as a dying interest.
- Do you have a basic understanding of the rules and procedures to be able to moderate threads?
Yes, I have a strong knowledge of Pokémon and its internal systems. Reading through the rules forum has given me an adequate understanding, but there is always room to learn more under guidance of more experienced staff members. I think I’ve got the hang of this.
- Have you had any past experience as staff, or some role of responsibility, on any roleplaying site in the past?
I’ve been a librarian (non administrative moderator role focused on member engagement and things like narration, approvals, etc.) off and on through various One Piece role playing sites. In my time, I always have a strong affinity towards narrative threads (think journeys on here), grading them, providing constructive criticism, and handing out the rewards. This work tends to clog up the tracks on forum sites, so it’s a high priority for me as it is the core component of a member’s experience.
- Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum?
Yes, I am receiving academic training in English Language Arts, Human Resources Managament, and Administrative Management. From the business end, this education and training has given me a well-researched perspective on business relationships (as in, relations between staff members, members, etc), as well as a strong emphasis on communications and how they impact these relationships. This website would be considered an organization, and thus much of my knowledge would apply to the mechanics of communication structure. Human Resources management revolves around implementing strategy to best highlight human individuality- essentially understanding others and helping them reach their potential. Additionally, my area of academic focus for various papers has been accessibility in written language. This involved me teaching businesses how to write in a way that is clear, concise, and accessible to people with differing levels of English fluency.

Hi Maple, that's wonderful. As with Megan though, we'd like you to wait at least a week from your join date before taking on the responsibility of being a mod ^^ To give you time to get a feeling of the site and finding your way around As with Michael, if you want something to do in the meantime you are more than welcome to give your thoughts on the member suggestions. There is also the Game Corner to take a look at. Active GC mods are always very valuable if that's of any interest and we could definitely start you off there (works toward Module 5 of the trainee program too!)

- Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu?
I have enjoyed all the time here at ZapdosZulu, and what better way to pay it back than to volunteer for Moderator to help keep the forum checked!
- Do you have a basic understanding of the rules and procedures to be able to moderate threads?
Yes, I do. Whenever I join a forum, I read the rules about ten thousand times or something, so that I can memorize them. This forum is one of them. Its also the best of them, for the other forums or offline always. Also, I have studied the procedures that were used by other moderators in case I am a Moderator one day.
- Have you had any past experience as staff, or some role of responsibility, on any roleplaying site in the past?
Yes, but, errr, well, no. I mean, technically yes, but no one else is there no one wants to be in my forum, but being owner counts as moderator time 10 there, so yes, I have a small amount of moderator expierence. Unless being a trial mod on Geometry Dash counts, but that isn't a roleplay
- Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum?
My vocabulary is large. At least I think so. Lets find out if you can comprehend the next sentence: "I would relish to visually perceive if you can deduce this sentence." Want another sentence that means the same thing? "I would esteem to optically discern if you can decipher this pronouncement." Is that enough? Maybe I should tell you my long history with the Pokemon games next...I started in 2013, with Pokemon Heart Gold.

Heya MinePikGamer! It's great to see such enthusiasm for joining staff <3
However, you're still a very new member who hasn't really gotten their feet wet with their own journey. We would like to see you experience ZZ as a normal member first, getting Samuel through a few experiences around Johto, before diving straight into the thick of it.

- Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu? I really enjoy the site and find myself logging on pretty much every day anyway, plus with past experience I think I might be able to help out around here now that I have made a full return and am back to full activity.
- Do you have a basic understanding of the rules and procedures to be able to moderate threads? I am still learning some of the newer things (like SOS encounters or how the Eggs, Nurseries, and Estates work), but I have a pretty solid grasp on how to do encounters, calcs, catch rates, and the classic stuff.
- Have you had any past experience as staff, or some role of responsibility, on any roleplaying site in the past? I was previously on staff here with Tiki back in the day but had to drop out due to college and adult life getting in the way. I have also adminned and modded for a few DC and Marvel RPs throughout the years.
- Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum? Some basic knowledge of coding, above average level of mathematics and English skills and general Pokemon mechanics knowledge. I am out of practice, but I also used to make custom Trainer sprites and the like a long time ago, so I might be able to help make event 'mon sprites or event NPC sprites if needed.

Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu? I love being a storyteller and Pokemon sites are always a great place to do that, with how rich the world is. Being able to share those stories is one of the best parts. Additionally, ZZ has been such a great place since I joined last summer and I'd love to have an opportunity to give back to it and help it continue.
Do you have a basic understanding of the rules and procedures to be able to moderate threads? Yes. I love the modding system and have been paying attention to how other staff members write with me and set up their responses. I believe that I can follow the procedures and be successful.
Have you had any past experience as staff, or some role of responsibility, on any roleplaying site in the past? I have actively modded on three Pokemon sites and was a moderator on a Jurassic Park discussion board. On one of the Pokemon sites I worked my way up to Admin but had to resign the position due to mental health and starting my career. Overall, at that site I held the following positions: Volunteer Mod, Full Mod, Head Mod, and Global Moderator.
Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum? I am very creative and have a pretty in-depth knowledge of Pokemon which would be helpful with designing events and activities for the members.

- Why do you want to be a Moderator at ZapdosZulu? I like to be helpful and also love to mod encounters. ^_^
- Do you have a basic understanding of the rules and procedures to be able to moderate threads?
I believe I do, yes! I have been learning the ins and outs of different kinds of threads through moderating my estate. I still make mistakes now and then, but I'd like to think I've hit a sort of stride for the most part.
- Have you had any past experience as staff, or some role of responsibility, on any roleplaying site in the past?
Yes! Lots~ I've done moderation and admin work on many different sites on the past, all the way back to my Neopets days. I'm familiar with event organization and even have done some graphics/art in the past when needed and when I had the time. I've also been in positions where I've needed to work with other mods to discuss player discipline for rule breaking or for settling disputes.
- Do you have any additional skills that could be useful in developing the forum?
I'm an absolute amateur at pixel art and coding, but it's a skill I'm developing and with practice could be useful in time~
