Ditto shook itself as the karate chop to its head made its flinch. Lodd’s arm disappeared into the purple Pokemon’s gelatinous form and Ditto wrapped around the new Pokemon. This strange lotus plant seemed to know how to enjoy the weather! Everyone else was absolutely miserable in the torrential rains that poured down around them with its chilling touch. Most shunned or chased the poor, strange ditto off. This Pokemon seemed to skate on top of the slippery surface of the land itself with her swift swimming capabilities. It wanted to be just like this Pokemon and it would! “Nice to meet you!” The ditto chattered with a sweet voice, then in a lower and more skittish tone it added, “You’re not going to chase me away…right?”Now it knew what it needed to do! It closed its eyes and began to think as its cells began to replicate and change. What did that plant look like? It struggled and tried its best to copy Lodd from memory alone but nothing came out right. One arm was too long, or the head had a horn where it didn’t belong, or the feet were shaped out of lotus flowers… No. None of this could be quite right. So Ditto peaked, opening one of its eyes to instead stare at a large red spider. Who was this creature? A friend? Or someone that preferred to play with the Ditto instead? Ditto immediately changed its shape to look like a spitting image of Spiden within seconds and waved one of its newly shaped arms at the other Pokemon. “Wooooww! Look at me! You’re so cool. I mean, I’m so cool!” It giggled. What attacks did it know now? It felt like it hadn’t slept in all of its life for some strange reason and like it never would. Why was that? Why did it feel like sleeping was some grandiose event that it just didn’t have time for anymore? What a strange notion that was! Like it was unable to fall asleep or be put to sleep! Oh, strange! Spiden rushed forward and fired a ball of black energy that slammed into the Ditto’s side and nearly toppled it over. It jumped up and giggled, immediately imitating the same attack as it fired a replicated form of Spiden’s Night Shade back at her. “Oh, this is quite fun! Quite fun, indeed!” It laughed. The Ditto blabbered something, but the dull and resting nonchalant faced Lombre stared into space once again. Alex wasn't paying attention to its noise either, as the rain drowned out any Pokemon cries that weren't obviously loud. Soon enough, it began to transform, and was unaware of the Ariados arrived on the scene. The Ditto was trying out its transformation for some time, but Alex waited patiently until Spiden finished the Night Shade and stood back on his side of the field.
"You did great, Spiden, but return!" Alex spoke, and the Spiden disappeared again as quickly as she appeared. "Come on out, Casilk! Use Stun Spore!"
He sent out another bug Pokemon, this time was flying. While using a spore attack wasn't recommended in weather like rain, sometimes luck would be helpful to land such a stunning move. Casilk buzzed quietly as he flew around in the rain, and then got himself close to scatter a cloud of orange or yellow spore from his beautiful wings.

Ditto was mentally in its own world as it tested out each of its long legs. This was amazing! Even the rains that poured down from the dark clouds above couldn’t seem to shake the wild transforming Pokemon from its elevated emotions. It skittered across the ground, running full-force through the thick grasses, and hopping onto the overturn logs from fallen trees nearby. Some couples gasped, jumping out of the way of the spider gone rogue. They turned to Alex and raised their hands up high into the sky as they waved to him. “Is everything ok, sir?” They called out, but the loud rains that tore through the air and covered the ground around them would drown out most of their words. The ‘Ariados’ swung back around and rushed after its opponent at the top of its speed. It jumped back, tilting its new head sideways – which was admittedly much smaller than the full looking abdomen that it was attached to – and lifted one of its newly formed arms to point at its opponent. “You’re new?! Betcha wanna fight, huh?!”[/b] It swung its arm through the air, aiming to sucker punch the other opponent, but missed entirely. What?! What kind of move was that, that did nothing?! Did the Ariados transform instead into this strange looking Beautifly? No. This was definitely yet another new Pokemon that the once melancholy – now overly ecstatic – was meeting for the first time! Casilk began scattering large bits of pollen all around in the air. They dazzled and gleamed with great energy, but were mostly washed away by the torrential downpours and large gusts of wind that tore through the land. The ‘Ariados’ jumped backwards, waving all of its arms except a few that it used to stand ‘up’ on in the air like it was practicing some ninja moves. “Stay back, you villainous spores!” It huffed and puffed, punching at the rainy air with great fervor. Then, the ‘Ariados’ would leap out and pin Casilk to the ground, biting down on his neck as it leeched the life out of him, before backing up and letting him fly back up into the air once more. Alex watched curiously as the Ditto was still testing out its new body. How long does a Ditto take to get used to a new body after transforming? It looked like the opponent was trying to use the Sucker Punch with its long legs, but it didn't work because the Beautifly wasn't trying to use an attack that would otherwise cause harm. Instead, his Stun Spore fell down this time in this heavy and loud rainy weather. The Ariados had voiced its concern about those pollens, but to Alex, they're just clicking of mandibles. He also forgot that his Ariados had Leech Life, but thankfully his Beautifly would resist that move brilliantly.
"Dang it. GO for a Stun Spore again!" he cried out the move again, hoping that it would work.
His bug Pokemon buzzed and flew his way closer to the motherly long legs again. He tried to get close this time before releasing the cloud of Stun Spore. However, Alex still wasn't sure in such a rainy weather.

The wind howled with a ghastly sound as it spun the rain around. The showers crashed against the ground and created a slippery environment. Ditto slid around on its newly formed legs, slowly learning to control them as the battle wore on. Instead of tumbling in awkward poses, it would pull itself up and wait, tapping at the wet earth to send small bits of muddy water to spray up in all directions. It was astounding to think that so many Pokemon ran around on these things called ‘legs’ all day! Every time the Ditto transformed into a different Pokemon, it loved practicing moving in its new body! As it watched Casilk flying through the air, it frowned and pouted for a second. “I wanna fly too!” It pointed with one of its striped legs. Casilk spun around in the air in large spirals. Thick clouds of sparkling dust sifted out into the air all around the newly formed ‘Ariados’. Ditto’s sharp purple eyes widened in alarm, and it immediately hopped backwards as it coughed and hacked on the fumes. A sick, burning sensation entered its lungs and flared all the way down through its entire body. It hurt so badly! Ditto’s muscles began to twitch and spasm uncontrollably. It ran off, collapsed, jumped up to run in another direction, collapsed, then jumped up to run back, before collapsing again. Ditto struggled and fought against the spores as it narrowed its eyes suspiciously on Casilk. “WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!” Ditto roared, rivaling the howling winds with its loud voice. It needed to know what happened! Why was it so hard to move?! Why did his muscles feel as though they were burning alive especially whenever it tried to move?! Why was every movement such an effort on Ditto’s part?! It knew it was something more than just the transformation, and it HURT Ditto that Casilk would immediately cause it such terrorizing pain! “I’ll show you!” Ditto jumped, pulling the small Beautifly down to the ground and bit down as hard as it could onto Casilk’s neck with its sharp fangs, syphoning some more health for itself. The rain wasn't going to stop anytime soon, but hopefully the limping Ditto who transformed into the Ariados would be. Casilk was confused by the Ariados's leg pointing at him. It was not a lady Pokemon pointing at him for attention, as this "Ariados" felt different. He felt that the opponent was strange and abnormal. Thankfully enough, when Casiilk scattered his paralytic powders, the false Ariados was struggling to stand on its multiple legs. The opponent screamed in pain (it wasn't that much of a scream coming from a Ditto), and miraculously retaliated by using a Leech Life.
"Oh, nothing in particular," Casilk casually replied in his charming voice.
Alex was surprised by the false bug showing so much resistance. Who knew such a blob would be able to struggle through that Stun Spore. He reached into his bag and grabbed an Ultra Ball, thinking that the Ditto would put up much more resistance to capturing than regular Pokemon. When he was ready, he tossed the capture device in the false Ariados's direction, hoping for a success. If he ever see one of these again he might need more Ultra Ball too!

Casilk’s words were calming and caused the tortured false Ariados to relax. Casilk assured Ditto that he didn’t do anything ‘particular’ to it, so Ditto had to believe in Casilk’s words. Why, then, did it feel this burning sensation tearing away at its newly formed muscles? Maybe it had something to do with the fact that Ditto had remained in this particular form for a while. How long had Ditto held its previous forms? It lifted one of its long, slender legs to try to scratch its ‘chin’ but found that its spider legs didn’t quite bend that way and accepted that it could just sit and stare. “Are you sure?” Ditto asked Casilk, trying to converse in civil discourse. “Like…really…really sure?” It didn’t feel right. The answers that Casilk gave, the way he sprinkled those dangerous spores that cause Ditto to cough and hack… And the nonchalant answers that Casilk seemed to give even as Ditto was screaming and writhing in pain. Was this Beautifly simply sadistic in its own head? Did it take pleasure in causing other Pokemon pain? Should Ditto make sure that Casilk couldn’t cause any other Pokemon pain? Nah…it should run! RUN! RUN, BRO, RUN! And so, the Ditto spun around and tried its hardest to run away, only to collapse on the ground twitching and writhing from the paralysis a few feet away. Alex’s Ultra Ball would find their mark easily so. It snapped the false Ariados up inside of their clutches and fell into a patch of tall, wild grasses. The Ultra Ball rolled around in the wet grass with only a couple of shakes before dinging in succession. Ditto wanted to fight for its freedom. It truly wanted to break free. But what did you realistically think would happen? That the poor, paralyzed fool would randomly throw away the shackles that bind it, and break out of the Pokeball? This Ditto didn’t subscribe to fairytales so…no. That did not happen. That did not happen at all. The Ditto cried in pain and asked Casilk for assurance for a short bit, before it was sucked into the Ultra Ball and disappeared into the void. The ball wobbled a little bit, but then ended with a successful Ding! Alex thanked his Beautifly and returned the Pokemon. He walked over to where the Ditto was and picked up the ball.
Alex continued on walking toward Ecruteak, hoping to reach it before it got too dark. He wondered once he reached the next city if he would trail back here to train his Pokemon, or train in a new route. He wanted to be ready for Morty, but with his use of grass type Pokemon, the ghost and poison types Pokemon Morty would use would be a challenge. His mind was occupied with strategy and training plan as the rain poured on, creating a background sound for his busy mind. Thankfully though, he was able to subconsciously to avoid stepping on muddy grounds while navigating in the heavy rain.

The rain poured down with an angry vengeance and soaked the land below it. Large puddles formed that would soon flood the normally trekked pathways, causing those who traversed the area to be careful of where they stepped. Even the small bridges that were built over the normal creeks and rivers that ran their course seemed to burst forth with overflowing waters that leaped on top of their wooden planks and soaked them to their core. Some travelers squealed and paused in front of a large, flooded puddle that covered one side of the route to the other and soaked through to the tall grasses on either side. Most of the puddle was deep enough to climb up to a small child’s knees, causing mothers to immediately hoist their children up into their arms as they braved their way through. A small, yellow fox-like Pokemon sat on the branch of a large tree and tilted its head curiously as it watched the humans scatter around like ants who lost their way back to the nest. What were they doing, jumping around as though they were fire types who needed to keep their flames from being extinguished by the muddy waters that surrounded them? Many of them backed away or crawled onto the fixed benches and tall stumps to try to hop their way over the makeshift ponds that slowly built themselves up underneath the torrential downpours. Did they think this would save them when the harsh rains had already soaked most of the ill-prepared travelers to their core? And those that were prepared enough with ponchos or umbrellas seemed to also don on waterproof footwear and long-sleeved pants-like clothing, as well. It’s eyes turned as it spotted Alex with a strange sort of delight. Who was this young man that managed to catch the funny little Ditto it had grown fond of watching transform into anything and everything around it? Alex didn’t seem to let the worst of the weather get him down – at least not yet. The fox-like Pokemon’s closed eyes parted their lids to open slightly for a brief second as it widened its field of gaze, then slammed shut forever more. Oh, he must be quite the interesting find, for sure! Abra teleported off the tree branch and appeared standing upright in front of Alex. It would do and say nothing more or less as it simply watched and waited to see how this young man would react to its presence. A Wild Abra appeared! Level 22. What will Alex do? Shimmer or Dimmer? qFW2XT0G1-421-42

When the Abra suddenly flashed in front of Alex. He almost tripped and fell in the rain from the sudden appearance. His heart skipped a beat because he thought a ghost was manifesting in front of him. On that thought, he wondered why ghost types don't usually know teleport because they would be scarier if they do. The Abra had a resting sleepy face, so when it looked like it was staring and examining Alex, he couldn't help but feel like the Pokemon was observing him despite it didn't look like it was.
Seeing that it was a psychic type, this meant that it was an easy picking for his bug types. He grabbed a Pokeball and quickly tossed it into the field. As soon as the Beautifly appeared, he hastily gave him a command. "Blow it away with Silver Wind!"
The quiet bug wasn't happy about being sent out in the rain again to ruin his aesthetics. He angled himself toward the Abra, and flapped his wings rapidly for a Silver Wind that would blow Abra's mind away.

The Abra’s eyes stayed glued on its opponent as it watched the young man with determination. What would Alex do in this moment? The torrential rains poured down around them, causing a strange and rhythmic beat that the Abra seemed to enjoy during its time out in the inclement weather. Though many of the onlookers would continue scurrying up the winding hills towards the first buildings that they could find, shutting themselves inside to escape the downpour, Abra stood firm in its place in front of Alex and his team. It waited, sharp eyes glued upon its opponents, and flared its nostrils silently. What would they do? Alex pulled a Pokeball free from his belt and sent out a strange looking Beautifly who shot up into the air and began fanning his wings. Was this bug preparing an attack on the Abra’s life? This Pokemon lived for too long a time, gathering too much research and knowledge within its cranium, to allow such a feeble attempt on its life. It turned towards the trainer and raised a one singular arm up to point a singular finger in Alex’s direction. The fox-like psychic Pokemon shook its head disapprovingly and gestured towards Casilk as the bug began whipping up strong winds that Abra was sure they meant to tear away at its flesh. Such a lowly excuse for a battle – something that Abra simply could not allow to happen. A bright flash of light enveloped Abra’s body. Alex and his bug Pokemon had shown the wild Pokemon everything that they had to offer. It was rather tedious and disappointing. They were nothing more than the same types of barbarians that the fox-like psychic type always ran into on its travels and constant searches for greater enlightenment. It wanted something, anything, that could help it gain a greater understanding of the world around it. This, however, was not it. A single voice shot inside of Alex’s skull and echoed within his mind. “Don’t be too quick in your haste to attack everything you see, or you will suffer greatly in life when this does not pan out in your favor.” And with that, the Abra was gone! Abra used Teleport and disappeared! What will Alex do now?

Alex shook his head when he heard the strange voices after the Abra had disappeared. Where did such wild Pokemon learned to talk in human language? Or maybe he was hallucinating himself? He apologized to his Beautifly about his opponent disappeared, but decided to kept him out of the Pokeball for now. Never had he seen some wild Pokemon giving him unsolicited advice.
He continued toward Ecruteak City, subconsciously only paying attention to puddles that he would have to walk carefully around or step on it. Should the trainer see a wild Pokemon, he would start off with an Air Cutter this time, and see what happened. Otherwise, he would keep on going. His mind was wondering whether or not that Abra was actually talking to him, or he was just in a quiet, dark and cloudy environment by himself a little too long. His partnering Beuatifly was equally quiet, but he did not need to worry about wet puddles and mud everywhere. The icy cool rain combined with his Beautlfly flapping behind him made him felt cool, so he asked his bug Pokemon to fly alongside him instead of flying behind him.

What followed the months long monsoons was a soft mist that clung in the air around them. Its strange presence created and almost otherworldly effect where the land seemed to shift into an almost dreamlike state. Small water droplets suspended themselves in the air around them, clinging as though the clouds from up high had graced their presence upon the land dwellers below. Strange shadows illuminated themselves within the distance. Though their forms were as distinct as ever even at a distance, much of their finer details would slowly vanish within the thin mist that wrapped itself around the land. A strange, guttural sound roared in the distance. The earth underneath Alex, though the Beautifly would remain largely unaffected as he floated in the air near his trainer. The strange spiky purple rhinoceros was scared as his world completely shifted and changed around him. He stared through the thin mist while squinting his sharp purple eyes and tilted his head this way and that. With every stir of the wind, the wild spiky creature would rampage in this direction and that. As a branch swayed in the gentle wind and knocked against the base of a neighboring tree, the rhinoceros tilted his head up and bellowed loudly, before charging forward to slam his horn into the side of the tree with a powerful thud. Not in his territory! Nothing would challenge him in his territory and live!Casilk whipped up powerful gusts of winds that tore through the lands, ripping apart the tall blades of green grass and tearing through the ground itself. The Nidorino spun around wildly with its horn pointed towards the heaven’s above and kicked at the ground with one powerful foot before rushing towards its opponent with its horn pointed directly at Casilk. The powerful air cut through Nidorino’s armored hide with a critically strong gust and tore at his flesh as though he were nothing at all. With a loud yelp, the poisonous spiky rhino spun around and ran off into the distance through the trees and strange mist that covered the land. Shiny? 0OwJWdyl1-42 Casilk defeated Level 21 Nidorino! OOCL putting snom back in Box 1 for now. Level 1 Bidoof from box 2 to party, EXP Share equip Air cutter on spawn
The rain had finally stopped, but the atmospheric temperature had changed the dissipating rain into a misty outlook. Knowing about the ghostly stories coming from Ecruteak, this was a chilly scene for Alex to observe. The area was starting to become a little cooler from the after effect of the rain, and even the residual wind from the storm did not help. He heard some branches moving from the swaying wind. Then, he thought he heard a thud against a tree. He tried to look but the area was misty to see. That wasn't over. He heard something fast coming toward them, but thankfully, his flying bug Pokemon quickly blew an Air Cutter in that direction and shooed away whatever coming at their direction.
Alex finally made it to Pokemon Center in Ecruteak City and took a peaceful night rest. It took him some time to get through the rain. The next day, he decided to venture back in the same route again, because he can, but also he also wasn't ready to explore Ecruteak city and the newest route. He didn't think his Pokemon was ready. Once again, he had his Beautifly next to him in the misty route. The bug prepared for Air Cutter at anything that would come.

The wild Pokemon wandered about through the thick grasses around the open terrain as random trainers and travelers passed by. Some would stop and stare at each of the passersby, while others warned the trainers that they would gouge them with their impressive horns or claws if they came to close to them. Most heeded the warnings – only a small boy, whose amazement at everything around him, would have to learn the hard way. A large brown rat charged with a bellowing call, only to catch the boy with its long, buckteeth, spin him around wildly, and toss him several feet away. Even as the mother cried and fussed, rushing over to check on her son, the wild Pokemon stalked off through the tall grasses presumably proud at its own works. Another lurked, watching Alex with as much intense fervor and happiness as its counterpart. It tucked a small prize it carried around on itself inside of its yellow fur and teleported off of the tree’s branch to stand up on two legs in front of Alex and his dazzling Beautifly. “Hello young trainer!” The Pokemon spoke telepathically, keeping a sharp eye on the brightly colored bird as it swelled up high into the air. “I was wandering if you would humor me with a bit of a mind game challenge?” Though, Casilk would have none of it at all. He slammed the small Abra with all of his energy, knocking the little psychic type backwards and through the tall grasses. Abra stood up and dusted itself off with a shrug of its shoulders. Such a waste of time and space, these humans were! Every person that it tried to talk to either only want to catch it, battle it, or run away shrieking at the top of their lungs as though it would hurt them. Were all humans so frail and easily broken? Was there no chance for Abra to find a like minded soul to listen to its soft musings? Discouraged, it pressed one of its hands to its forehead and closed eyes (wait? They’re not already always closed to begin with?). Within the blink of an eye, Abra teleported off to some place far off and distant. Shiny? ScNwPq491-42 SUCCESS!!
