Once more, life on the secluded island had become dull for Shinya, as he walked along the shore of said island, searching for anything to relieve his boredom. His hands were in his pockets, his facial expression was pretty much lifeless, and he kicked up some sand with every single step he took. Over the last few weeks, he noticed that a few more trainers had somehow gotten themselves stranded on this island as well. The trainers themselves didn't really pique his interest at all, but their presence did at least get him thinking. The first group of trainers ended up here because they were all on the cruise ship when it sank, but how and why did all these new trainers end up here? During one of their trips to the island's orchard, Shinya talked it over with his friend, Venom, and they both agreed that this can't just be a coincidence. It was almost like someone, or something was purposely trapping Pokemon trainers on this island, but who would possibly do such a thing? And for that matter, why? Neither Venom nor Shinya had any idea, but if this truly was the case, then the two of them, as well as every other trainer on the island, would have to keep their eyes and ears open. If an intelligent being really was behind all of this, then there was a strong possibility that that being was watching their every move. Or at the very least, checking in on them every so often. In which case, this being must've had a way to come and go from the island as they pleased, so that being might also be their ticket off this patch of land. Of course, the trainers stranded on this island would have to fight their way passed the mystery being if this theory turned out to be true. Fortunately, if there was one thing Shinya loved, it was a good fight. And speaking of a good fight, the Team Skull grunt got a call from Venom on his Pokegear out of the blue, and the ninja had some very big and exciting news to share with him. "SAY WHAT?! LUGIA'S BACK?!" And just like that, Shinya felt alive again, as the blood started pumping through his entire body instantly. Venom confirmed it right away, as Lugia's presence was impossible to mistake, even at night. After that, Shinya grinned ear to ear, and turned in the direction Venom told him Lugia was located in. "Thanks for the tip, Venom. You stay where ya are and keep fishin'. Life is finally playin' my song." Shinya said to Venom over his Pokegear, and Venom was willing to leave this to Shinya, but still told him to be careful. With that, Shinya hung up, put his Pokegear away, and ran towards the battlefield as fast as he could, grabbing a Pokeball from his bag as he ran. Upon arrival, the Bug type trainer saw that the battle was already in full swing, with numerous trainers present, and Lugia going strong. "Well now, looks I'm a little late to the party. But whatever. The important thing is that I showed up. And it looks like there's still plenty of fun to be had."Shinya commented on the scene before him, then watched as several Pokemon were knocked out cold by one of Lugia's attacks, which didn't surprise Shinya in the least and excited him even further. "Tch. Looks like the scrubs could use a hand. Or six. What do ya think, Wimpod?!" The Alolan trainer tossed the Pokeball in his grip into the carnage before him, sending his favorite six-limbed Pokemon into battle first. "Wimp! Wimpod! Pod! Pod!" True to his nature, Turn Tail Pokemon had fear written all over his face upon seeing the legendary Pokemon, shaking where he stood like he was in an earthquake. Naturally, Shinya refused to let his Pokemon back down, far too excited to even think of such a thing, as he called out Wimpod's first order of this bout. "Okay, Wimpod! Just like ya did against Entei, let's start things off with your Sand Attack!" Remembering that encounter, and knowing that he didn't have a choice, Wimpod gathered up as much sand as he could, ran as fast as he could over to Lugia, while doing his best to avoid detection, then flung all the sand right into the Diving Pokemon's eyes. "Wimp! Wimp! Wim...pod!"

Zaiden's eyes widened in alarm. Kingyo took a mighty hit from the goliath and was knocked far off in the distance. He raised his arms up high and whistled loudly. Where was he? The wild waves kept jumping up high over the surface, creating large waves that could topple even the best surfers. No matter how hard Zaiden tried, he couldn't spot his Pokemon amoung the rapid waters of the great blue sea. Was he OK? Zaiden gulped, fearful that the worst might have happened to his fish. He pulled out another ball and released a small, grey feathered bird. Tsubasa flew up high into the skies and let out a sharp trill. She was free of her Pokeball! But, to what outcome?! The Pokemon around her gathered against the largest bird she'd ever seen in her life! And her trainer sent her out because... he couldn't seriously expect Tsubasa to battle this beast, could he? The bird gulped, assuming that there was no other reason she would have been called out in this storm. "Hey! Tsubasa called to the gigantic beast. "Leave us all alone!" She snapped at Lugia. | Tsubasa | Lv "25" Switched in!

Lei nodded pleased when Oberon chose to follow her request and she followed with her struggling dottler at her heels, she grimaced annoyed when it seemed like none of them had heard her call before, she had just told them all that they had beat it "last time", which meant this was not the first. "You might need to get used to it," she said dryly to the ones around her, "it's not the first time and it probably won't be the last.""No clue what use it has of this island, but its the second time Lugia has attacked us, and both Entei and Suicune has tried to chase us away," She said grimly and grimaced, "there is nothing I'd rather do that leave this cursed place but we're stuck here and apparently they are too dumb to realize that," she said as she gestured to the Lugia. "Get rolling! And stay out of its attacks!" Lei ordered her geodude who grinned and sped over the sand sending it flying on everyone it past on its way to reach the agile and fast legendary pokemon. | Geodude | Lv 10 Used Rollout!

The little gecko charged forward bravely but was met with a decisive attack which sent it flying through the air. Sara could see the muscles in their little body go limp as they flew through the air, spiralling high in the sky. Sara started backing up, like a baseball outfielder eyeing the small pokemon in the air, and backing up slowly trying to get under where the pokemon will land. As Avery begins to spiral down towards the ground, Sara carefully aims their pokeball, which was still in her hand after just letting the pokemon out to battle, and presses the button on it. She then tosses the ball into the air, and as it gets close to the Treecko, it pops open and fires a red beam of light onto Avery's unconscious body, and sucks the pokemon in safely. Sara lets out a sigh of relief as Avery is safely back in the ball. Sara quickly pulls out another pokeball and tosses it out. A small Ratata bursts forth from the ball. "Alright Tartarus. Avery gave it a shot, now it's your turn!" Sara said, the confidence in her voice wavering. "Quick, lets use a Tail Whip! We have to keep the monster's defenses down, hopefully it will lower its guard if it sees your tail, maybe it will think you're running away!" Sara said. Tartarus stared at Sara for a second, and then begrudgingly turns towards the monster on the beach, wildly flailing around and the collection of trainers and pokemon running around like chickens with their heads cut off. "Into the fray I go..." Tartarus thinks to itself. | Tartarus | Lv '25' (12) Used Tail Whip! <EXP Share>

Selenia tries her hardest to see what has happen to Beaker. With the moon lit sky, the beach is bright but still with Lugia taking a good chunk of they sky immediately in front of them, it blocks out a portion of the moon light. Selenia searches the beach and luckily finds Beaker wash up on it. She tries to resuscitate the bird Pokemon and to her delight water comes out of the bird's mouth. She rolls Beaker onto the stomach and more water comes out. Beaker than looks up weakly at Selenia which makes her cry. "You did your best, Beaker. Time for you to rest now. I'll have to figure out some other way to combat this legendary Pokemon."
Selenia grabs Beaker's ball and recalls her Pokemon. Once Beaker is safe, she continues to kneel down trying to gather her own strength and ideas. So this is what it is like to face off against the power of a legendary Pokemon. No wonder she had a healthy respect for the Hoenn legendary Pokemon. She looks at her Pokedex and searches for what she has available. While she looks, she spots one of the Pokemon she bred. It being a water type would help it from the same fate as Beaker and since Lugia isn't technically a water type the moves should do decent. It takes a bit but she figures out how to remotely connect to her PC and summon a remoraid with his ball.
"From what I know, you and your three siblings were part of a deal Anton had set up. I think only three of you were officially part of the deal though so I think I can use one of you at my leisure. I decided on you remoraid and I'll name you Raider. As tempted as I am to use your inherited move of surf, let us start with something a bit safer of water gun. '
The new fish like Pokemon looks up at Selenia happily being chosen and heads towards the ocean. It uses Surf on Lugia not caring or realizing the insurmountable challenge which lays before him.

The poor Dwebble was knocked hard by the wind. Penelope was also barely holding on the ground as the powerful gust blown in their direction. Thankfully, the Dwebble survived with a silver of its health. Under the moonlight, it looked battered and weakened. Some of his legs struggled to hold on, and the rock-shell looked rugged than it already was. "Lei, what do you mean again?" Penelope asked curiously, as she entered the island later. "Was this Lugia here before?"Then, she kneeled down to check on her Pokemon. "Wow, you were holding on! You can do it, Dwebble! Let's give that Lugia another Sand Attack!"The pooe Dwebble whined, like it was in the verge of tears, likely from the stress of fighting a big and powerful Pokemon, and that she was holding onto her life. Thanks to Penelope's encouragement, she stopped and pointed her pincer at the Lugia, and began digging some sand to fling it toward the opponent. Seeing the others taking their chances at debuffing or sending in reinforcements, Oberon switched his gaze back towards the legendary guardian of the sea with a grim look. It was a painful sight to see, a pokemon in such a frenzied state that they would attack the beach of refugees so recklessly. But twice in a row was more than a wounded attempt at defense. "Lochlan. Tackle. See if you can help drive it off even for a moment." The trainer spoke quietly.
Lochlan turned and nodded at the order, grinning with the malice of a Sharpedo before rushing across the beaches and aiming a tackle straight for one of the Lugia's wings. "And take this with ya!"

The beach was a flurry of activity. More trainers were joining the fight from all directions. A girl stepped toward Trixie intending to ask for some marshmallows, before she apparently got distracted by another trainer with a Dottler in tow, doing her best to cover everyone with the bug Pokemon's Light Screen. The first girl had a Dwebble, and Trixie watched it smack the Lugia, forcing the bird to land onto the ground. Trixie gasped as the bird legend retaliated with a tremendous gust of wind that sent the Dwebble flying, alongside another girl's Treecko. If she didn't do something fast, Citrine might be next! Fortunately the trainers on the beach were resilient, and Pokemon were switched, recovered, and regrouping for the next round. Trixie saw the battered Dwebble scramble to its feet and spray some sand in the Lugia's direction. "Citrine!" she called out to her Cyndaquil. "We aren't going to beat it with a direct attack. Use your Smokescreen to help distract it!" The little mouse Pokemon raced up the beach, black smog billowing from his mouth as he went, and tried to send as much of it flying into the Lugia's eyes as possible. This gave Trixie an opening to approach the raven-haired girl. "I also saw the Lugia before," she piped up. "We were attacked in the middle of the night, just like now, but it feels like months ago at this point." Keeping track of time was hard on a desert island! "I don't know if it's the same one come looking for revenge, or if this one is different. But we've gotta beat it, or who knows what could happen!" | Citrine | Lv "25" Used Smokescreen!

The geodude spraying a torrent of sand on its way to the grounded lugia wasn't hard to miss, though, with all the others on the beach tossing things its way the beast was too distracted to even attempt dodging. The slam drew a hiss from the diving pokémon. Its attention snapped to the dot of rock on the beach at its feet, slowly making its way to turn and make a roundabout. Lugia squinted through its psychedelic haze then began to glow with psychic energy. With a high pitched roar, palms upturned and gaze turned skyward, the legendary ripped chunks of rock from beneath the waves and sand and held them airborne for a moment. It refocused on Geodude's rotating figure then sent the earth in its ethereal hold flying after him. Afterwards, Lugia seemed to get a bit dizzy and stumbled under the grips of confusion. Its coalesced energies snapped like a crackle of lightning then dispersed, seeming to cause something akin to a static shock to the large pokémon. Lugia pummelled Geodude! Then succumbed to confusion

Aphrodite smiled as she noticed more trainers joining them on the battlefield hoping to defeat the raging, yet majestic legendary Pokemon. The Beauty Trainer was even more pleased to see that Aurora's Confuse Ray was able to make contact with their opponent's body and caused the Lugia some pain and suffering for a little while. Hopefully, the confusion status would last long enough for defending Pokemon to inflict even more damage to the Lugia's body. "Aurora, here's our chance to attack! Ice Beam!" She commanded her Alolan Ninetales. Aurora would let out a loud howl before firing a beautiful, yet powerful icy-cold beam of energy at her opponent. Aphrodite felt confident that Aurora's attack would inflict a decent amount of damage against the Lugia. However, she could not help, but wonder if any other "heavy hitters" would arrive on the scene to help them out. She admired the younger trainers and their inexperienced Pokemon's courage, but she knew that it would take more than that to defeat the Lugia. Alolan Ninetales | Lv 25 used Ice Beam!

Selenia is glad this round went as well as it did. She then remembers the key move this remoraid can offer. " Let's go, Raider, and use helping hands. I'm not sure how beneficial it will be but let us give it a try."She then turns to Penelope and some of the others. It definitely sounds like this is not the first time a legendary has attacked nor Lugia specifically. "So no one has any idea why these legendary Pokemon are attacking? Is there any way to find out? I think someone mention this is the second time Lugia has attacked but sounds like others have as well. How many trainers were fighting the last legendary? With as much power as this Lugia is producing, I'm surprised this beach is still here if this has happen before." | Raider | Lv "25" (1-newly hatched) Used helping hands!

Even though he was neck deep in the thrill of battling yet another legendary Pokemon, Shinya was still able to hear some of the things the other trainers said. And while he didn't care for most of the things he heard, one thing did catch his attention. Lei's comments about the legendary Pokemon and their constant attacks caused Shinya to laugh out loud for a moment, as he yelled out his own thoughts on the matter, forced to do so with Lugia's wind still going strong. "HA! Legendary or not, these things are still Pokemon! And speakin' of which, maybe that's the solution to our problem! To capture this great white legend and force it to fly us outta here!" The thought of capturing a legendary Pokemon was another great motivator for the Team Skull grunt, even if this particular legend wasn't a Bug type. True, there was a very real risk that Lugia would be disobedient towards whoever caught it, but in Shinya's opinion, it was definitely better than continuing to sit around and do nothing for another month or two. That said, he and the rest of the trainers present on the beach still had to weaken Lugia if they wanted any hope of capturing it at all. Fortunately, almost immediately after Shinya turned his gaze back over to his Wimpod, the Turn Tail Pokemon felt a sudden surge in power, which just so happened to come from Selenia's Remoraid's Helping Hand. "Perfect! Wimpod, let's take that power and use it to do somethin' about Lugia's attack power! Struggle Bug!" Feeling slightly more confident after the sudden boost in power, Wimpod started to shake his whole body rapidly, sending out waves of Bug type energy in Lugia's direction. "Wimp! Wimp! Wimpod!" Lugia may be a Flying type, but it's also a Psychic type. So, hopefully this move will not only lower the Diving Pokemon's special attack power, but also cause a fair amount of damage.

Zaiden turned to Shinya and blinked. The boy he'd spent so much time with on the beach side chasing down wild Pokemon and battling against them came up with a strange and wondrous idea. "Capture it..." Would it work? How many Pokeballs would it take to fully encapsulate this beast? And who would get the ultimate glory for such a massive capture?! He gulped, thinking of how difficult that would be for them all to decide together and slowly nodded his head. "It might work..." Zaiden definitely wanted off the island by whatever means would work. Tsubasa soared up high over the large titan and puffed up her chest feathers. What were they doing here? She slowly forgot, until she watched Lugia slam into the Geodude with its might. Oh yeah! They were all fighting for their lives out here! She had to do something and quick! But what could she do? She was just a tiny little bird against a literal Godzilla of a monster! She leered at her opponent with a sharp, angry look. "Leave us alone!" She roared at the top of her lungs in vain, doubting that the beast would adhere to her words. | Tsubasa | Lv "25" Used Leer!

"As if others haven't thought about that," Lei said dryly as answer to Shinya's idea, "I have tried be ready but until now they have run off before I could get close enough."She glanced at Zaiden when he acted like it was a completely new idea to him, come on, who wouldn't be thinking about wanting to catch a legendary? A lot of trainers had that dream since they were kids, problem was it wasn't just going to be as easy as chucking a pokeball at them. "Or are you saying we should try catch it just to break up its stride and give it more to think about?" She asked thoughtfully and then grinned conspiratorially, "it probably doesn't work but even if it keeps breaking out it will definitely make it harder for it. I have enough pokeballs to waste on that." And who knew? Perhaps she'd be extremely lucky. She flicked a pokeball from her pocket and clicked it large, she strolled forward and waited until it was close enough and then hurled the pokeball with all her might, she probably miss simply due to its speed. "Oi oi oi!" Geodude gasped as he did his best to dodge the stones thrown at him but of course only manage a few and he was sent flying through the air. It wasn't going to stop him and as he touched the sand again he picked up speed. "rolling rolling rolling, rolling rolling rolling rawhide!" He sang loudly as he turned and aimed at the rocks which had been thrown at him and used them as a ramp to sent him high up to the air and hopefully at the lugia. "Is it really even possible?" Oberon objected to the idea, turning their head to face Shinya directly. "Even if we were to capture Lugia by some miracle, there's all the chance that we'd probably get eaten or attacked by them if we do let them out. But," They pointed over to Lei as she stepped forth to make a distraction. "the distraction might work."
Lochlan noticed the human coming forth from the safety of the Light Screen as well, and decided that he liked the cut of her jib if she's got enough bravery to throw something at what seemed to be a giant, angry whirlpool machine.
