Spencer's sly grin gradually faded, and his body paused when, instead of a silly bouncing mouse, a strong electric sheep appeared. The pokeballs he held in his hands fell to the ground, as if representing his current mental state. He absolutely hadn't taken into account that this trainer could possess Pokémon stronger than mere baby creatures. Before Fletchling could even react, Mina's attack surged through its small body, utterly decimating its determination in mere seconds, causing it to collapse to the grass like a Cutiefly caught in an electric fly catcher. Its wings still trembled and shivered from the shock it had received. " No way!" Spencer yelled out, recalling the little bird. This was his cue to flee. " You'll... you'll regret this! It's a promise! You hear?! PROMISE!" he threatened, simultaneously stepping away from Wren and leaving behind the Pokéballs he could not gather in time... forgetting that his backpack was still open, spilling all the stolen stuff he had worked (not so hard) for. He then took off into the shrubbery, attempting to lose the nosy trainer, unaware of the trail he was leaving behind. Before long, sharp barks rang out from all around. A pack of Growlithe pursued the man, narrowly avoiding crashing into the trainer. Swift as the wind, they gave the thief no chance to escape, surrounding Spencer, who stood still, trembling. " G-good doggies... Don't bite me!" his voice shook. Damn it, caught AGAIN! If not for this meddling... " Whew! Good thing we got here when we did!" a female voice exclaimed as Officer Jenny walked up next to Wren. " Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" she asked, looking at the trainer with concern. Timmy followed just behind, trying to catch his breath. " Huff... huff... we ran... as fast as possible...!" he said between heavy breaths. Wren defeated Burglar Spencer! Looks like he dropped £250 while trying to run, as well as Officer Jenny let Wren keep a pokeball as a reward for job well done! Mina gained +1 level and is now level 17!
No calculations necessary. The poor bird was fried like a KFC

Stumbling as the police Growliths swarmed the robber, Wren almost lost balance but caught themselves with a small chuckle. Looks like the job is done; another adventure to tell Avery later! Wren scratched Mina under her wool-less chin and the receiving pokemon was delighted by the physical praise. "Return, Mina. Thank you!" Mina's pokeball absorbed her essence now that the battle was done.
As Officer Jenny and Timmy approached, the trainer answered the oncoming questions. "Yes ma'am. He didn't hurt me at all. One of my Pokemon are poisoned, but I'll stop by the pokemon center as soon as I can." They turned their gaze between Office jenny and the panting Timmy. "Thank you so much for your help, both of you. Let's get you home, Timmy."
Wishing the Officer good luck and thanks for a job well done, as well as the free pokeball, Wren continued with Timmy back to his home in Cherrygrove.

A strong breeze billowed through the open route and howled between the trees. Branches scratched at each other. They knock, knock, knocked with soft thuds as the harsh wind slapped them around. Bright green leaves rustled in protest, with someone snapping off their branches and fluttering to the forested floor below. Small children clung to their mothers, whose long dreezes flapped around erratically. “It’s too windy today.” One mother explained to her cherubic-faced redheaded toddler as she stared up at her mother with wide blue eyes. “We’ll come back out and play another day.” She promised, gripping the young girl’s hand to lead her away. Timmy complained, gripping his items tighter. His backpack was heavy enough that the wind couldn’t easily slap it around, but the added weight from the breeze’s effort pulled against his shoulders instead. “It’s so gusty today!” He huffed, following Wren closely. “You think we should seek shelter somewhere? Is that possible? Until the wind dies down?” It was an innocent enough question, though the tall trees and grassy route might prove hard to simply dart behind something and hope for the best. Something crawled out of the brush, pulled in by the strong emotions it felt nearby. It was a small white humanoid Pokemon. The ralts tilted its head up, its two red horns jutting out of either side lifted so that one pointed to the heavens whilst the other pointed to the grassy ground underfoot. It stood there for a second, eyes hidden by the green hair-like fur covering them and stared quietly at Wren and Timmy with slow blinks, unphased by the harsh winds that surged through the tall grasses. Were they the cause of the strong emotions it felt? They were harsh and bitter on its tongue, like anger and animosity being poured out freely. “Why are you so upset?” Ralts asked telepathically as it stared at Wren, assuming them to be the main cause of the harsh emotions it originally felt. As the gusty weather tormented the grassy path, Wren grabbed onto Timmy's backpack to keep him secure as to not be thrown around like a ragdoll. They secured their own bag with the other hand after returning their pokemon to the pokeball. "I've got you!" They reassured. Visibly staggering through the winds, Wren was confused by the question that infiltrated their mind. "Upset?" They parroted, confusion in their voice. "Let's get you to safety! This weather could be dangerous!" They called to both Timmy and the wild Ralts. The trainer didn't want to entertain a battle and is effectively running away from the encounter, but inviting the wild Pokemon along as to not get hurt. _______ (OOC: forgot to fill out the bio for the Ralts I catched a few pages ago! As the soft spring wind continued to blow through the area, the two humans found themselves stumbling upon a Mareep that seemed to be enjoying the weather. When the Mareep saw Wren, something stirred inside its simple head, the electric type bleated joyfully and blinked its tail-orb with a weak electricity. Perhaps this Mareep was the one who battled Wren and their Cascoon not too long ago, or this one was a completely different one. Either way, the electric type was conveying something by the flashing of its tail light. "Oh, it's a Mareep! It looks like it's unbothered by the wind." Timmy pointed at the Mareep, commenting about its carefree nature. "Maybe this wind isn't that bad? If a Mareep can handle it, we can too, right?" He asked the trainer inquisitively. Timmy wasn't present earlier when Wren battled the Mareep. Although, how does one tell a wild Pokemon was the same one as before?

The winds seemed to dissipate into spring gusts, and Wren had discovered their footing again and let go of their younger friend's backpack for safety. "Oh, uh, I guess so!" Wren straightened up, lightly embarrassed for exaggerating the weather. It took a moment for Wren to recognize the small sheep. They weren't certain it was the one from last night, but an idea crossed their mind: what if they brought out Mina?
In a non-aggressive demeanor, Wren released their Flaaffy Mina beside themselves. Still slightly sleepy, Mina awoke from being curled up in a comfortable position. She unfurled and let out a loud "Baa!" like it was a yawn. She rubbed her eyes with her stubby hands and shook her static wool in the wind. She let out another sound, more inquisitive and curious about the Mareep in front of them. "Flaa?"

Mareep stared at the evolved form of itself quietly and blinked. The winds whipped around them, creating a rustling through the tall grasses and long branches in nearby trees. Mareep was enjoying its time in the gusting breeze, frolicking in the fields around the mountainous area. Wren caught its attention more than anything, causing the blue mammal covered in thick cream-colored wool to trot closer to Wren with every step. That was skilled trainer if it had ever spotted one. Was it because it knew from experience, or could it just naturally tell such things? Mina greeted Mareep with a sleepy yawn. The wild sheep blinked, small charcoal irises staring quietly as it considered the other Pokemon’s greeting. This was not a battle cry… Mareep paused, nodding its head thoughtfully towards Mina with a loud yawn. “Maaar!” It cried back, the round orb on the tip of its tail lighting up like a beacon. Bolts of electricity danced around inside of Mareep’s tail tail, with a few of those same shocking waves coursing through its dense fur. “Reeeep!” It giggled with a wide smile. Mina and Wren were safe. They were kind and caring individuals who seemed not to want to cause any trouble to the wilderness around them. Could they truly be trusted, though? Mareep rushed over to Mina and gently pressed its head against Mina’s stomach. It would rub its head against the larger sheep’s body in a kind and gentle greeting. While doing so, Mareep’s tail bounced rapidly as though it might wag right off its body. It was hard to trust many around the area, with so many trainers who only wanted to battle or catch them. It felt…different…and Mina, even though she was evolved, felt familiar. Mareep had to hope that meant something. Wren thought the interaction between them and the two pokémon was genuinely adorable. They let out a giggle that sounded like a Chimecho on the wind, a gloved hand covering their mouth. Mina glanced at Wren as if asking for permission, and Wren gave her a response. "Go and play, it's okay Miss Mina. You made a new friend!" The pink sheep's dark irises lit up like the blue bulb on her tail. She got on all fours to mimic her previous form and gently headbutted the Mareep back. "Fiiii!" She chimed, shaking her wool in the open breeze.
Meanwhile, the teal haired trainer had dropped their bag gently on the grass, the weight of it being well enough to keep it in place. The trainer was willing to relax a moment and shoot the breeze down the gusty route. "Wanna stop for a moment?" They offered to the younger future trainer. They trusted Timmy and the wild Mareep to not pull a fast one like that thief from earlier might have. It's been a long and treacherous day, and it's barely noon. Wren crouched down to the Mareep's level a few yards away, offering an outstretched empty hand in case it wanted to investigated. "Have we seen you before, little one?" Their hand was relaxed and covered in a thick woolen black glove. They pondered whether or not to take off the glove, waiting for Mareep's reaction.

The Mareep let out a happy bleat, watching its distance kin get onto all fours and playfully headbutt it back made it think of all the fun games it would have with its kind. And in kind, the Mareep would headbutt playfully back and then walk up to the Flaafy's side and nuzzle its head into the wool of Mina.
Wren's attempt at introducing herself resulted in a curious gaze from the mareep towards the gloved hand that laid before it. Its had gently turned, confused for a moment before it approached, giving a few good sniffs towards the hand as though to more properly ascertain the safety of the human. After but a few moments it would give a playful nip towards that hand, nothing rough but playful as it attempted to play-pull off the glove, and regardless of the result would begin to prance about in place, bleeting happily as it played with the human regardless!
['Meep! Meep! Mareeep!' (This human has a funny paw!)]

Wren laughed as the wild Mareep pulled off their glove. They politely took it back from the playful creature and slipped it back on, feeling small crackles of static. What a sweet little thing. The trainer pulled out a pokeball as non-threatening as they could manage and pointed at it. "Would you like to come with us?" They asked.
Mina seemed to bounce while she was on all fours, chatting with her wild kin. "It'd be fun. This trainer is really nice! Wanna come with us?" She offered in case the Mareep didn't understand Wren's language.

['Meep...?'] it responded at first in confusion to the human who was offering it what looked like a delicious Apricorn. It had a delicious looking red top and white bottom, it looked so round too! How did they ever get that round. As it approached in interest, Mina drew its attention like a Fly to a Light!
The adorkable Mareep was a bit too silly and naive to realize just what it was about to do, and in the process, it didn't really care much because it was offered to travel with a really nice human! How could it ignore the opinion of its kin?
['Ooh, really? No wonder she offers me such a delicious looking Snack!'] Meeped out the Mareep, which then attempted to playfully bite down on the Pokeball, attempting to pull it from Wren's hand before realizing it wasn't an Apricorn at all!
['Hey this isn't an Apricorn!'] Pouted the Mareep. ['Why is your pet human offering me a rock colored like an Apricorn?'] asked Mareep to Mina, confused what was going on.
==================================================================
[OOC note] Okay Bombayt, here's the thing, I cannot let you outright capture Mareep without a 'battle'. So I need you to tell us what ball youre using and going through the process normally (Mareep at 100% HP). I've given you a bit cute/silly stuff to RP with. Once you declare your precise ball and intent to use it, I'll do the capture process, and if you fail, we'll continue from there.
Also, you might want to consider having a different Pokemon interact with Mareep, as right now, your Flaafy - Mina - would be considered your Active Pokemon and get all, if any due to the levels involved, EXP. -Vartio

The trainer carried their regular pokeball in hand as they gently pressed the button against Mareep's nose. Wren figured that if Mareep wanted to come along with them, it wouldn't resist the balls capturing process. Mina got up from her position and bounced, causing electricity to course through her fur from her excitement of a potential new friend. "Yeah! One of us! One of us!" She chanted through baas and bleeps. Mina wasn't very privy to Mareep's confusion, but as soon as Wren pushed the button against the sheep's nose, they realized they might still have to battle the little one if things didn't go according to plan.
Like lighting a firecracker, Wren got up and quickly shuffled away from the rocking pokeball as a charged-up Mina automatically got into position. She looked around, confused. "Is there another fight? Where's the bad guys?"

*Do not read this spoiler unless you WANT to be spoiled.*Capture Roll - JFwiIpVyp_1-100 - Capture! ========================================= The Mareep joined in the hopping festivities, going 'Meeeep! While we all know that Pokemon have experiences in their Pokeballs, we will not address that on today's episode. What happened instead was the ball rocked. Slowly. One Rock. The ball didn't bust open. Two rocks. The Pokeball still didn't dare to pop open, nor did it make any early indication of a catch. Three Rocks. Time seemed to freeze still. Wren whooped in celebration and hopped joyfully, seeing their gambit pay off. They picked up the Mareep's pokeball and gave it a gentle kiss. "Nice to meet you, Monty." At long last they returned to the city! The journey to safely get Timmy home had come to an end, and Timmy looked at Wren with a wide smile on his face. "Thank you so much Ma'am! Thanks to you I got to see so many Pokemon! I'll try not to get lost camping next time. Bye Bye!" He stated, giving her a bow. With that he returned to his home, a job well done by Wren, wrangler of Pokemon and rowdy children alike. And so at long last, it seemed Wren's adventure in saving poor Timmy had come to an end. All she needed to do was rest, however, it seemed that wouldn't quite happen! As if on queue to offer one final obstacle to her rest arrived a wild Pokemon that swooped down like a bullet and threatened to peck Wren's head off! After ultimately (hopefully!) missing, it would curve upwards and turn, flapping its wings before letting out an intimidating 'SPEAROW!' as it flapped in place, now a physical threat. Perhaps Wren looked like a worm, maybe it was the smell of all those bug types she'd encountered since her journey started. Or maybe it saw her catch a Mareep and wanted some lamb chops. Regardless, this spearow was here to fight! ============================================================ You have encountered a level 10 Spearow! oba2xEB1p_1-6 p_1-3 p_1-42 1-6·1-3·1-42
