Eggciting Inception
The early stages of Tai's journey had been an absolute whirlwind, this despite the fact the young adult male had realistically only visited Professor Elm's laboratory so far and was only now setting off like so many trainers before him in traversing Route 29, the singular path that separated New Bark from Cherrygrove. A peaceful tranquility consumed the short path the connecting path between town and city, the winds of change that had previously been blowing before were no longer a thing as the warm and sticky weather left barely a breeze, it was the type of day where taking a dip would be a fine way to refresh oneself. Saku the Bulbasaur had been peacefully walking alongside Tai as the pair traversed along the dirt path, she was keeping a close eye on the patches of tall grass that were scattered along the route so as to not be caught off guard by any wild Pokemon. Tai motioned for his gentle seed pokemon to halt for a moment as he took the opportunity to release from its pokeball the mystery pokemon that his adoptive parents had gifted to him alongside his travel ticket to the Kanto region. Both trainer and pokemon watched on with eager anticipation as to what emerged from the gleaming red glow that fascinatingly delivered pokemon from the confines of a small, spherical technological device into the world. A small chimp pokemon emerged, a species that Tai himself was not familiar with and so he proceeded to retrieve his Pokedex and point it in the direction of his new pokemon partner as the artificially intelligent piece of technology provided the basic information that would aid in enlightening Taiki,
“I’m Dexter, a Pokédex programmed by Professor Oak for Pokémon Trainer Taiki Touki from the city of Celadon. My function is to provide Tai with information and advice regarding Pokémon and their training. If lost or stolen, I cannot be replaced”
After the initial robotic greeting from Dexter the Pokedex, the artificially intelligent piece of technology proceeded to scan the pokemon that Tai was facing it towards, mere moments later the analysis was complete and Dexter again voiced its findings,
Chimchar. The Chimp Pokemon. The gas made in its belly burns from its rear end. The fire burns weakly when it feels sick. It is very agile. Before going to sleep, it extinguishes the flame on its tail to prevent fires.
The wonders of the Pokedex were truly unmatched, the information provided from a device that could fit into one's pocket as seamlessly as a smart phone was truly incredible. As Taiki proceeded to return his pokedex to his pocket he quietly observed his two new pokemon partners in conversation with one another,
Pleasure to meet you partner, I go by Saku
I'm no partner love, I'm the best fighter to ever exist, I'll prove it to you as well!
Despite clearly being unable to understand a lick of what the pair were chattering about, the Kantonian born male had a gut-feeling that things had clearly not gotten off on the smoothest of accords, he mused within his own thoughts pondering the untapped potential that would come with humans one day understanding the language that Pokemon spoke,
Jeez I sure wish I knew what those two were talking about, maybe one day, who knows?
Before Tai could intervene between his pokemon, the small, quadrupedal amphibian pokemon appeared to want to reprimand her new fire type partner with her tentacle-like vines for something he must have said to her, much like a Mother washing her childs mouth out with soap for cussing. Before Saku could proceed with showcasing her not-so-gentle side however, the flaming tailed chimp pokemon seemingly darted ahead of his trainer and teammate apparently looking for a fight to prove himself. This was a plot twist that Taiki definitely had not been anticipating, the joys of a fledgling journey to become a Pokemon Master. As with any good anime, the story is never truly linear with many high's and low's along the way as the story unfolds, or so Tai had been lead to believe from his many years watching the animated stories. Tai motioned for Saku to follow alongside him as they slowly pursued their fiery friend, after all moving was quite the chore when one was wearing an egg incubator bag on his front and back, the look was truly a fashionista's nightmare but a breeder's dream, a unique one to say the very least.

The weather was hot and sticky, creating an uncomfortable feeling causing even the most traditionally breathable of fabrics to cling against one’s skin. Some of the usual citizens of the nearby cities gathered around large bodies of water, setting out long pieces of fabric with small baskets as they prepared a picnic. Their youngsters leaped into the bodies of water with ease, their tiny hands flailing about wildly with loud and clamoring voices hyping over each other in a chaotic mess. The parents who sat by the wayside cupped their long, slender hands around the sides of their faces and shouted out approvingly. By all accounts, it was an average day amid the summer heat. Several small purple rodents darted through tall blades of grass, chittering loudly in anticipation of the small kids who chased them about. The dull brown birds stretched their long wings and soared high above the ground with ease, keeping away from the toddlers with barely a care. One could chastise the parents who allowed their children to chase the wildlife about. One of the small children ran back to their parents’ arms, tears streaking down the sides of his chubby cheeks with a head full of messy golden locks that curled in short inches on the top of his head. Instead defending him, they shrugged and corrected the behavior, voices urging for respect of the local wildlife. However, all was not so along the open route that stretched along in a nearly even sweep from New Bark to Cherrygrove with nearly gentle slopes that made most of the trek an easy walk. There were parts were ledges popped out steeply, causing one to curve their path around a wide bend towards a safer path, and places where the trees populated too densely to pass by. They were ultimately few and far in-between. Several kids began to scream, tiny fingers pointing towards rotund meerkats with long, rabbit-like ears that darted through the tall grasses with sandwiches, cookies, and all sorts of other human-made goodies stuffed inside of their mouth. “Hey! Stop stealing our food!” One of the parents screamed after the Sentret, who all darted to their ‘kingpin’ – the largest of the Sentret by far, who sat on the top of the heap with a wide grin. Would Tai intervene and help the parents who only wanted to protect their children’s meal from the little thieves? Or would he take the side of the wildlife, who only wanted to fill their guts and possibly had no true understanding of the crimes they committed? A Wild Sentret is being a regular thief!  Level 6. Everything was peaceful along the route that connected New Bark from Cherrygrove, or so it seemed at least. Whilst some of the local wildlife were happy to share the space with the humans that had decided picnics by the water was a fine way to escape the hot and sticky weather of the day, other wildlife had decided to help themselves to some savory and sweet treats. A crew of rotund meerkats with long, rabbit-like ears had stuffed their cheeks full of food and retreat to safer ground, much to the disgust of the parents who screamed after the wild pokemon in disgust of the little thieves' actions. To the more observant eye it appeared the actions of the meerkat like pokemon was a way of fighting back against the humans for disturbing the peace of their land. Both Tai and his partner in Saku were mindful that it was the humans who were intruding on the wild pokemon's space, their more rash chimp like teammate however was displaying that thinking wasn't a skill he was readily equipped with,
Slow down! Let our trainer decide how we handle this situation
Tai took a moment to assess how to handle the situation, should he assist the parents in retrieving their children's meals or protect the wildlife and their right to the space they were native to. Either way he felt a need to take command of the situation and provide an outcome that showcased his kind-hearted, grounded nature. The choice was quickly taken out Taiki's hands as Zuko took absolutely no notice of his teammates suggestion, instead the fire type pokemon had his sights hyper-focused on his new target, the largest of the rotund meerkat's that sat high and mighty on top of the heap with a cheeky grin etched on its face, this only seemed to heighten the fire type chimp pokemon's insatiable desire to punch things,
Time to prove my point, I hope you like savory foods you thieving punk because you're about to eat a knuckle sandwich
The punching obsessed bipedal chimpanzee pokemon showcased to all that were watching how agile he was as he seamlessly covered the ground between himself and his adversary. As he came within the vicinity of the rotund meerkat his right fist became surrounded by a light green aura
Sheesh, it looks like I really do have my work cut out in order to keep this little one in check.
Zuko was taking matters into his own hands, literally. Saku idly waited alongside the company of her trainer as she watched her teammate thrust himself firmly into the thick of the action, she wondered to herself if maybe the large meerkat pokemon would knock some sensibility into the fire type chimp pokemon. Meanwhile Tai had been temporarily distracted by the litany of sweets that lie amongst the heap of stolen food, his sweet tooth evidently captivating his attention for a moment. Tai's mind briefly wondered to the possibility of siding with the thieving meerkat pokemon simply to keep the sweet treats to himself. Taiki shook his head as if snapping himself back to the present and in order to put his mind back onto the task at hand he took the opportunity to retrieve his pokedex and point it in the direction of the rotund meerkat to collect data on its species,
Sentret. The Scout Pokemon. If it encounters a foe, it will stand up on its tail, making itself look bigger than usual to intimidate them. This Pokémon is extremely cautious. Its supple tail is well muscled and firm to the touch.

"Shtupid Shentret! Thats's mine!" A kid shouted and ran forward, blind and deaf to his parents frantic call to him to come back. The kid bend down and picked up a rock from the ground which he hurled at the flock while he shouted: "I've been nishe all week to geth dat cookie! It'sh mine! Gib it back!"The sentret scattered from the first rock, while the big bully stood up with its fur bristled. A second rock came flying from the kid, which landed just as far away from the normal types as the first one. "Get back cowards! It's a pup and it throws badly! Chase it off!" The big sentret shouted from the top of its "throne", the other nervous looking sentrets slowly made their way back. "I promised you to be rulers of the forest, if you don't want to hide and cover in fear anymore, now's the time to prove it! Face that little brat and show the humans to stay out of our forest! Don't forget they come and destroy it and takes our family away! We need to throw them out and take charge! Follow me and I'll lead you to glory!" The leader sentret riled up the rest of the flock, who was now cheering and jumped around excitedly. The kid was blind to what was happening and his third rock hit the ground between some of the sentrets, who spun around to face him. The kid's mom had caught up to him now though, and was pulling him back kicking and screaming, her attempts to calm him down by promising lots of cookies at home, but he was too deep into his tantrum to hear her. The Leader began to direct the others to face the humans and advance on them slowly to chase them off. It of course stayed back, it was directing things after all, and its sheer size made it clear to all of its kin that if obviously was the strongest of them all, and it had proved a long time ago that it feared nothing. With the attention fully on the parents and their kids, Zuko could race almost right up to the flock of normal types before he got noticed. A small little one squeaked the alarm and rose itself high up on its tail fearfully, trying to look big so that the chimchar would be intimidated. Zuko simply darted past it, and the others around him froze with fear, unsure of what to do with someone showing no fear of them suddenly being in their midst. A few of the inner circle around the Leader noticed, they sprung into action but Zuko nimbly dodged them and the Leader learned it had a challenger when the chimchar slammed his fist straight into its chin and sent it tumbling to the ground. A gasp went through the flock and they felt silent, then a couple of the next biggest sentrets turned to Zuko furiously, and they would all have jumped on him hadn't the Leader spoken up. "No! He's mine!" It snarled as it pushed itself up, a red mark was pulsing on its chin, and it glared hatefully at Zuko. "You got some nerve, you little son of a monkey. You really think you'd get away with this? Sneaking in from behind to make a cowardly attack instead of valiantly challenging me," the sentret spat and then gestured to the flock of sentrets who had now made a circle around Zuko and their leader, there was no way out now. "Do you really believe you'll get away? You're mine!" It hissed and threw chimchar to the ground, "I'll make you pay tenfold!"The flock of sentrets began to cheer on their leader and shout suggestions to what it should do to Zuko. The parents had gathered their kids and watched from afar, none made any attempts to intervene, it didn't look like any of them had any pokemon brought along which could do much anyway. Instead they were discussing the problem these rogue pokemon was to them and especially their kids' fun in the forest, and what they could do about it. Wild Encounter

One of the children was well and truly peeved off, his good behavior had earned him a delicious cookie only for the thieving meerkat pokemon to claim it as their own. The childs displeasure had led him to hurl rocks in the direction of the meerkat pokemon, albeit all unsuccessful in hitting the target before his Mom took him back to safety away from the threat of the pack of wild Sentret.
Zuko was one agile little chimp pokemon, he effortlessly bobbed and weaved amongst the traffic of wild pokemon as he made his way to the undeniable leader of the group. In a definitive display of defiance that delivered a message loud a clear to those watching on, Zuko slammed his fist directly into the chin of the big, bad Sentret sending him tumbling off his 'throne' along the ground. A cumulative gasp of shock followed by a deafening silence went through the flock of Sentret, their fearless leader had been so effortlessly embarrassed right in front of them. The group of meerkat pokemon circled Zuko in a true showcase of pack mentality, the leader of the flock however wanted to handle the situation alone, without the assistance of his many companions. Despite the obvious numbers disadvantage Zuko remained unfazed, his desire to punch things seemingly far outweighed his desire to think through his actions. Saku had been idly minding her own business alongside her trainer and could have left her teammate to fend for himself against the pack of meerkat pokemon. Saku's caring nature reigned supreme as her motherly instincts compelled her to be the bigger pokemon out of the two and lead by example and aid him in battle if the situation devolved any further, the commanding tone in her voice echoing how serious she was,
Any of you other goons lay but an inch of your being on my partner here and it'll be your first and last mistake
Stay out of it Saku, this oversized rat's got nothing on me
Much like he had blindsided the meerkat pokemon, the leader of the flock hissed violently and tackled the fire type chimp pokemon to the ground as its partners in crime cheered gleefully in support of their leader. As the dust settled on the first chapter of attacking maneuvers between the two combatants a red mark could be seen pulsing on the leader Sentret's chin, a hateful glare in its eyes. Tai was preparing to take control of the situation before it got completely out of hand, his hypothesized solution was to capture the 'leader' Sentret and literally remove the 'problem' from the action, he mused to himself as he retrieved an empty red and white spherical device from his belt,
If nothing else this has turned into quite the scene, best not to handle the situation too harshly, after all there are children around
Before Tai could toss the Pokeball at the wild Sentret, Zuko took matter into his own hands once again as he darted towards the leader of the flock of meerkats with his focus hyper-fixated on delivering a swift, conclusive blow to the normal type pokemon in a showcase of his dominance.

A few of the sentrets at the outskirt of the ring turn to glare at Saku. One of them even raised itself on its tail with bristling fur, its intention crystal clear, "you want some? Come and get it! I'll show you who's boss around here!" It threatened while it stared her down challengingly. It could probably have ended badly with some one-vs-many hadn't things turned against the sentrets. The leader was looming over Zuko, hadn't it been so proud it would have been clever enough to get the whole flock to help and the chimchar would have had been helpless, but it wanted to show the flock how strong and mighty it was. It wanted to get revenge and show Zuko that it was the better of the two, only to learn that it wasn't. The fire monkey didn't have to run far, he just had to get to his feet and leap at the leader, who was busy mocking him and bask in the cheers from its flock. Its certain win got wrecked by a fist to its stomach, which sent it flying backwards and into some of the other sentrets, it curled up in pain and the whole flock fell silent. Had this flock been a real flock, and had they been together for a longer time, the rest of the sentrets would probably have reacted as expected and would have defended their leader and attacked Suko, taking him down. This was a rather new thing for them, since while they were used to live in small family groups, they certainly wasn't used to be the one holding power or confrontating their opponents directly. They all froze, unsure what to do without leadership, then one of the smaller ones spun around and ran, which set off a chain reaction and the whole group scattered in all directing. Left behind was the lowly groaning leader. The parents had followed the battle closely and they had a short hushed conversation before one of the dads came trotting over. "Hello Sir, what a splendid battle," he greeted when he came within hearing range, he grinned a bit sheepishly, "I'll go straight to the point: we couldn't help but notice you looked like you wanted to catch that one?" He pointed at the fallen sentret, "I'm sure that is the one behind all the problems these otherwise usually sweet sentrets are giving us. If you are willing to take it away from here, we will be ever grateful, things could then go back to normal." He smiled hopefully to Tai as he awaited his answer.  Suko won easily and grows +3 levels to [Lv 8]! He can learn Ember if he forgets another move! [img src="https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/bwani/sentret.gif"]

Despite the challenging threat ushered her way, Saku was seemingly unfazed, she was prepared to take the high road in this situation, after all her teammate was embarrassing their supposed leader before their beady little eyes, it would simply be rubbing the proverbial salt in an open wound by putting this other little rascal in its place. It would have made plenty of sense for the leader of the pack of Sentret to simply let his crew handle Zuko and company, however the leader meerkat pokemon's pride and insistence on displaying its own powers to all that chose to watch was the overarching factor as to why the gang of Sentret hadn't already resorted to some serious hood tactics. The battle did not last for much longer, a single tackle from the normal type pokemon was the only offensive maneuver that it was able to get in before Zuko delivered a swift punch to the stomach of the meerkat pokemon which sent it reeling backwards into some of its crew members, literally like a bowling ball crashing into pins. The silence from the pack of meerkat pokemon that followed the prompt conclusion to the battle was palpable, they appeared shocked and entirely unsure of what to do next. It wasn't until one of the smaller of the crew fled off into the taller grass that the pack dispersed, leaving only the leader writhing lying, groaning in pain. Zuko begun chuckling and turned to face Saku, pointing directly at her, See?! What did I tell you, I got hands like dynamite they're that explosive!While you handled that surprisingly well, maybe try thinking before acting next timeZuko seemingly shrugged off the suggestion from his more level headed teammate, instead the chimp pokemon begun chuckling at the meerkat pokemon writhing in pain. Much to the fire type chimp pokemon's disgust, the rest of the scaredy meerkat's had fled the scene, clearly none of them wanted a knuckle sandwich or two to fill their stomachs up, instead Zuko took the opportunity to poke fun at his fallen opponent, How pathetic, I thought you'd put up much more of a fight then thatTai was a mixed bag of emotions as to what he had just witnessed unfold, on one hand he was both proud and impressed with how easily Zuko had handled the much larger opponent, on the other hand he was concerned at the clear amount of pain the wild pokemon now appeared to be in, deserted by its friends and left to now fend for itself. It appeared the families that had bore witness to what had just happened could see that Tai was experiencing conflicted feelings, one of the dads came waltzing over to Tai and congratulated him on his efforts before asking if he would be willing to take the 'problem child' Sentret under his wing. Tai looked at the older male with a puzzled look, Firstly, thank-you, I appreciate the kind words! On the other matter though, I didn't think trainers were allowed to capture fainted pokemon after a battles conclusion?Before the older male could respond, Dexter's robotic voice echoed from Tai's pant pocket, the artificially intelligent piece of technology had clearly been listening to the conversation and decided to interject itself at a point when it deemed its information as vital to being shared, Trainers who have not received the Zephyr Badge are entitled to capture fainted pokemonTai was pleasantly surprised by the newfound information, adding another team member so early into his journey, and one who was clearly not afraid of a fight was indefinitely a positive in his books. With the positive news now firmly lifting Tai's spirits he grabbed an empty pokeball off his belt and lightly tossed it towards the slowly recovering Sentret. There was no struggle what so ever on the capture attempt, the ball's red light almost instantly turned off to signal a successful capture. Both Tai and Saku appeared pleased with the development, their fire type teammate not so ecstatic about the development, Why would you go and add that weakling to the team? Isn't it bad enough we already have one?Saku figuratively bit her tongue, feeding into her teammates jibes aimed in her direction was only going to sour their relationship further, instead she decided to enjoy the moment alongside her trainer, her time to battle would come soon enough and she was ready whenever that may be to prove to her chimp like teammate that she could handle her own when push came to shove. Tai retrieved the pokeball containing the now captured Sentret and placed it onto his belt for the time being. Little did Tai know but nearby a young lass in a school uniform had been watching the entire battle sequence from start to finish, her heart set on making Tai's newly obtained Sentret her own...

The antics of the surrounding wildlife did not go unnoticed by the unusual quiet teen whose life had experienced so much peril in such a short time. Though he remained off on the sidelines, once stretched out on the field of bright green grasses with a blanket placed gently underneath, he’d find his need to arise, brought to the forefront of his existence readily. Where Zaiden planned a nice, casual meal under the unwavering sun whose fierce rays singed the landscape relentlessly, causing water molecules from the surrounding lakes and ponds to suspend in hair with the added humidity, life just scoffed.
No, he’d find his meal nabbed by one of the various thieves. While Zaiden’s story never unfolded to the climate of the battlefield with the leader itself – he was but a pawn, handling small fry after small fry, just trying his best to wrestle a ham-and-cheese sandwich out of the greedy clutches of one Sentret – he was, nevertheless, involved in the skirmish. What happened to a peaceful summer’s day? First, he struggled through the tangled mess of overgrown vines wrapped around sturdy trunks and snaking their way through briar bushes that created a strange, mazelike network through the heart of a dense jungle-like forest.
Now this? After finally making his way back to the peaceful streets of New Bark and its surrounding route? It was perplexing! So, once he’d finally wrangled the bread-based meal from Sentret’s hands, only to watch his hard work flush down the proverbial toilet as it landed – splash – in one of the muddiest puddles along Route 29, Zaiden couldn’t help but groan loudly from the strange occurrences of the ongoing day! As soon as he turned back to his picnic, defeated in his efforts to recover his meal, another rushed off with his bag of potato chips (or crisps, for you European speakers), leaving a scattering trail of the thinly sliced pieces on the ground behind itself. They’d also managed to knock over his tea, of all things!
Thankfully, the wild Sentret all gave up and scurried off after the defeat of their leader, handed to them not by the nervous teen himself but instead by another young male though much older than Zaiden and already at the cusp of adulthood by a single glance. This mysterious fellow easily felled the larger Sentret with a combative primate whose fighting spirit seemingly never backed down. One of the parents who had become the target of Sentret’s antics easily approached the older gent and convinced Tai to carry the troublemaker along with him, though it seemed Tai was apt to catch and transfer all in one easy sweep, leaving little want for time to get to know the Pokémon better than he’d known it on the battlefield.
He’s pretty capable as a trainer. Do people start their journeys this late in life? The young teenager questions silently, those deep brown eyes like dark chocolate hues burning bright with inner thoughts that whirled away inside of his head. Maybe he went to Pokémon School or something? I hear they’re supposed to be the equivalent of battling Gym Leaders when you pass certain classes. He nodded quietly to himself. Something about Tai’s Chimchar seemed…almost unenthusiastic, really. Nervous as always, with a voice that seemed to choke the ever-living-soul out of his body when he tried to speak, Zaiden preferred to keep to himself lest he make a bigger fool out of his own situation.
In the distance, two Rhyhorn raced across the hilly landscape, easily jumping over ledges and darting around the tall trees. In areas that proved too dense, they simply stomped and headbutted their way through, causing some of the smaller saplings to topple over with ease. One was a notable sort – Zaiden’s eyes widened with a very loud and audible sigh. “Sai! How did you escape the Professor’s lab?!” He groaned, slapping himself on the sides of his face with his hands, and forsaking his blanketed picnic area to chase after his horned companion. Would this day every truly get any easier?
OOC: I've come to interrupt your fun! I hope you liked the way I introduced the Rhyhorn, too. ^^ I know you mentioned trying to work in Tai getting his somehow.
Also Zaiden's Sai is not in active party, it's just for fluff to intro the two Sai's together if you want Hunter. <3

The chaos stemming from the actions of the band of scoundrel Sentret had been laid to rest, that however didn't mean the action stopped. Tai had barely taken a moment to slow down and breathe after the conclusion of the battle before he found himself the proud new trainer of a Sewaddle named Denise, apparently the leader of the crew of Sentret was a hot commodity for a young lass named Anna who insisted a trade was in both of their best interests. The Kantonian native was ready to appease his sweet tooth and hook into the packet of gummy bears that had been the sweetener in the aforementioned deal, with Zuko safely tucked away in his pokeball for the time being the chances of anything crazy happening was surely at short odds, or so Tai had led himself to believe. What in the high heavens is that soundTai's attention quickly turned away from enjoying his sweet snack to locate where the loud stomping sounds were coming from. The aspiring Pokemon master would not have to look far and wide to determine what the source of the sound was, a pair of rhinoceros-like pokemon darting around the route like they were participating in some sort of race. Could this day truly get any less of a conventional storybook beginning?! Taiki's interest was truly peaked after observing the pair of pokemon causing a ruckus as a male much younger than him had packed up his picnic blanket and begun chasing the pair of rhinoceros-like pokemon, He definitely looks young, one would imagine he might be in need of a hand getting those two in checkIt appeared that once again Tai and Saku were on the same wavelength, the male trainer had already unintentionally had to play hero today, doing it twice over would simply be sticking to the script right? Taiki tightened the straps on the egg incubators on his front and back so that they were secured if he had to break out into a light jog as he motioned for Saku to lead the way in following the young man as he planned to offer assistance from a distance. The sense of thrill and adventure was clearly rushing through Tai's veins, enough so that his sweet tooth would have to wait a while longer to be appeased. Hey buddy, need a hand with wrangling those big bertha's up?

Zaiden’s attention remained locked on the two titans rampaging through the once gentle route. It was arguable if it was full of docile wild Pokemon or not, especially given the antics of the previous meerkats who were making off with pilfered food of happy-go-lucky picnickers along the open stretch of route. It wasn’t helped when you noticed the stray trainer getting beat by an angry sparrow pecking the soul out of the top of their scalps to scare trainers away from their nests.
It, however, remained that the landscape changed since the introduction of the two titans. It shapeshifted with such a powerful and deliberate force, mothers snatched their young up by a single arm and booked it inside of the nearest building or structure where they might remain safe. Doors slammed shut, latches locked, and eyes peered between parted blades of window blinds with large eyes that watched from a far off and safe vantage point. Some released their drones, that they flew overhead and recorded the strange occurrences.
“Oh…hey!” Zaiden gulped, eyes widened with anxiety as another trainer joined the chase. He hadn’t quite noticed the birds pestering the two titans, though he hunted for a safe way to bring the two to a quick stop. “One of ‘em is mind…” Zaiden added with a nervous chuckle. Though I’m not sure how she escaped. Would Tai immediately find him to be a complete, incompetent idiot who couldn’t manage their own Pokemon? Especially when it wasn’t exactly his fault, given the fact that Zaiden rightly assumed his Pokemon to be safely kept at Elm’s lab?
Zaiden immediately pulled a small ball out of his pocket and released a small blue electric cat with the click of a button. Raion raced across the ground with large sparks shooting from her long whiskers. She pawed at the ground, standing as an imposing force within the two titan’s pathway, fully ready to scare them off with a powerful bolt of lightning – aimed at the ‘horn’ where one of the birds likely rested. Zaiden whistled and pointed with his hands, gesturing towards a steep ledge to the south of the two beasts. Maybe they could corner them along the ledge to keep them from charging blindly after everyone else?
Zaiden struggled to explain these same concepts to his new partner who offered to help. He only knew of Tai as the individual who managed to handle the rascally Sentret just a moment ago. And now, fear and anxiety whispered inside of Zaiden’s ears, making him worry how Tai might perceive him as a trainer. All that mattered, though, was recollecting his Pokemon and getting Sai back to the lab. Though, he had no idea who owned the other Rhyhorn or what caused them to start charging in the first place. “What are you idiots trying to do?! Tample everyone in sight!? You’ve got rocks for brains, the both of you!” Raion roared angrily at the two Rhyhorn.
OOC: Sending out Raion who uses Thunder Shock. Doesn't really matter who, though I guess I'll pick Spearow. x3 Also adding +200 for each egg for Hunter as it looks like it was missed.

Whomever the wisecrack was that had described Route 29 as a peaceful beginning to a trainer's journey had clearly not had the same experience as Taiki was having. Never in the male young adult's wildest imagination did he think he would be saving the locals from a band of scoundrel Sentret, let alone to now be chasing down a pair of rampaging Ryhorn, quite literally jogging headfirst into potential danger. The younger male that had begun pursuing the pair of rhinoceros-like pokemon didn't look very old, Tai was sure he was still under the age of eighteen, hence Taiki's reaction to offer a helping hand with the situation at large. The teenage male's voice reeked of nervousness, was he feeling some kind of guilt that one of the two behemoth like pokemon was his and was causing a righteous old mess? Regardless Taiki felt it was appropriate to the situation to offer a calming reassurance that everything would be okay, No worries champion, we'll get these big boys back in orderly fashion don't you worry!A pair of avian pokemon were screeching and lunging at each other, a classic re-enactment of an age-long species battle. There was a time and place for such a thing, and causing a commotion above a pair of rampaging rhinoceros' was not that time and place. Suddenly the younger male sprung into action as he released a small blue electric cat pokemon from its pokeball and motioned towards a steep looking ledge directly south of the two titan pokemon, potentially cornering the pair would at least put a halt to their destructive behavior, I believe the brains trust throwing these dino dudes off their game is those agitated avians, let's sort them out first then we can worry about the big boysFor a pokemon so small in stature, the teenage male's quadrupedal, feline pokemon sure was a feisty little bugger, it was well and truly ready to stand on business. Saku's approach to the situation immediately appeared the more level headed of the two pokemon now firmly in the firing line of battle, her calming presence was her best trait after all. A powerful bolt of lightning was sent forth from the tiny feline pokemon, following suit but nowhere near as impressive to watch, Saku shot glowing yellow seeds from the green plant bulb on her back towards the same target that the boy's Shinx had aimed for, Oh I'm Taiki by the way, but you can just call me Tai! What's your name?

The bickering birds had bigger and better things to do that entertain the questions of interloping outsiders who had no idea the true heart of the spearow-pidgey feud. If they did, they would know better than to dare intervene! The pair clashed bravely, scattering feathers before breaking apart, glaring at one another...at least until said interlopers involved themselves. There was a wicked crack of electricity that startled the pidgey into fluttering up into the air, the spearow's withering glare landing on the unknowns with fiery disdain. The next second, there was a flash and the spearow was a little extra crispy and smoky along the edges of its feathers. With an annoyed chirp, the pidgey swooped down and flung sand at the electric cat's face. <This doesn't involve you!> it scolded. And since it was distracted, it didn't notice its fearsome rival being sniped off the back of the ryhorn with a series of bullet seeds. Wild Encounter

Champion… Rich chocolate irises reflected on Taiki’s choice of words with a soft hum. The corners of Zaiden’s lips tugged, pulling them into a welcoming smile that was as heartfelt and true as he had in quite a long time. Visions danced in the back of Zaiden’s mind of a younger self whose dreams were bundled up and stuffed inside of his chest. Then, he danced with such notions under the hot summer suns and throughout the bitter winter storms with his father’s trusty Charizard at his side.
It wasn’t meant to be, however. “I really appreciate the help!” Zaiden called back to Taiki, voice emanating elated emotions that sprang forth like a pipe bursting altogether. He was honest and true, finding Taiki a gem among his peers for considering such thoughts of kindness to be given so freely and easily even before they managed to wrangle the beasts back in their pens. “Sai….she’s a good girl. But their vision isn’t the best, so Rhyhorn spook easy!” Zaiden explained, remembering his quick lessons on his own Pokemon from whence he’d first collected it and had it join his collection.
What would they do with the other Rhyhorn, though? A thought that scratched the back of Zaiden’s head as he shook away the fading memories of the day his father sold off Zaiden’s cherished childhood friend. Was Charizard thriving wherever he went? Was he as well fed and allowed to soar through the skies as often as he liked? Feet pounded against sand and through grass in their headlong chase to corner the beasts off together. “I don’t know who owns the other one?” A quiet hum and a slightly distasteful frown tickling his lips. “But it can’t be safe to let it stay here. For both the natural fauna who live here and the Rhyhorn itself.”
Right? It didn’t make sense that a beast of the open plains would find refuge in a forested region so easily, without tearing asunder every tree and bush along its path. Taiki’s Bulbasaur managed to hit true after Raion’s powerful blast of electricity, knocking one of the flying avians off the backs of the armored beasts. They only needed to contend with the last one. A thankful pause of relief flooded over Zaiden, causing him to smile once more as he turned his attention to the remaining bird. “Oh…I’m Zaiden! N…nice to m..eet yo…u…” Zaiden seized up for an instance, unable to explain where the random bout of anxiety attacked him from.
Was it the heat of the moment himself? The want or need for introductions? Or his insecurities slowly creeping in, hissing from the recesses of his mind that he would only fail this mission in due time? Raion’s fur sparked with a wide smirk that covered her maw. “You handled yourself well. Think you’re ready to take the last one on with me?” She questioned, eyebrow raised in the direction of the loudmouth Pidgey. “You see….one of those steeds belongs to my trainer. So actually, this does involve me, birdbrain! Why don’t you get fried since that’s all your species are good for, you useless sack of feathers!” She cackled, tossing a powerful blast of electricity in Pidgey’s direction.

The younger male's facial expression told Taiki all that he needed to know as he noticed a welcoming smile etched on his face, his feelings echoed his emotions as he shared his appreciation of Tai assisting him with the situation at large. The young man informed Taiki of the fact that 'Sai' the Ryhorn's behavior wasn't a regular occurrence, likely a result of being spooked by things outside of its vision radius. Tai nodded his head in acknowledgment of the vital information he had been shared, it all made sense now as to why the rhinoceros-like pokemon were rampaging about the route, It all makes sense really, we'll get Sai calmed down first and then we can figure out what to do with the other one!The wild Spearow had shot a withering glare upon the pair of trainer owned pokemon who were now waging battle against it and its rival. The pinkish-red feathered avian was quickly reprimanded for its actions as the younger male's quadrupedal, feline pokemon packed a punch with its offensive maneuver, a crackling bolt of electricity that truly shocked the Spearow that had mere moments before been waging a species based war directly above the pair of rampaging Ryhorn. The wild Pidgey quickly lowered itself to ground level to kick up some sand in the direction of the lynx-kitten like pokemon Saku watched the sequence play out before her eyes, to say she was impressed would be a literal understatement, she made sure to let her new acquaintance know as much, Oh damn, you really sparked that Spearow, that was very impressive!Saku's attack had followed not long after the feline pokemon had unloaded its offense, the glowing yellow seeds shot from the green plant bulb on Saku's back aimed directly at the Spearow that had just bore the impact of the previous attack. The very small avian pokemon was barraged by the series of bullet like seeds as it tumbled from the air and onto the ground, lying temporarily unconscious, unable to continue battling as a result of the damage it had just taken from its opposition. Saku was pleased with how things had just played out, her confidence growing as she felt comfortable working alongside her new friend, I would love to help you with the last one! I'm Saku by the way, pleasure to be able to stand alongside you in battle!The younger male's confidence seemed to disappear as he tried to share his name with Taiki and his voice echoed a sense of nervousness, it did not go unnoticed by the older male as he took a mental note of it but made no actual mention of it, instead helping to keep him in good spirits was the approach that Taiki chose, Zaiden hey? That's a really cool name dude, I like it!The odds were now firmly stacked in Zaiden and Tai's pokemon as one avian pokemon remained. The loudmouth Pidgey chirped defiantly at her opposers, to which Zaiden's lynx-kitten like pokemon returned serve with a side dish of reality checking the avian like a left hook to the body. The lynx-kitten like pokemon shot a powerful blast of electricity in the direction of the lone Pidgey, as it did that Saku focused in on her target and once again shot glowing yellow seeds from the green plant bulb on her back towards the remaining target, Damn bird brain, you really messed with the wrong cat, sucks to be you I guessThe momentum of the battle was firmly in Zaiden and Tai's favor, with that in mind Taiki retrieved 'Dexter' the Pokedex and pointed it towards the Ryhorn, Spearow and Pidgey, allowing the piece of technology to scan over the crew of pokemon and capture their image and likeness and then robotically vocalize to the young adult male information it deemed necessary for him to know, Ryhorn. The Spikes Pokemon. Once it starts running, it won’t stop—even if it crashes through boulders. This disposition is what’s caused its habitat to expand. Rhyhorn claims an area with over a six mile radius as its territory. It apparently forgets where this territory is when running, however.... Spearow. The Tiny Bird Pokemon. Its reckless nature leads it to stand up to others—even large Pokémon—if it has to protect its territory. Due to its short wings, it can't fly long distances. It wanders about restlessly and pecks at bug Pokémon.... Pidgey. The Tiny Bird Pokemon. A common sight in forests and woods. It flaps its wings at ground level to kick up blinding sand. Its reckless nature leads it to stand up to others—even large Pokémon—if it has to protect its territory.
