Travel alone or with friends as you make your way from New Bark to Mt. Silver in the classic regions of Johto and Kanto!

Adventure far and wide helping other trainers, rescuing wild pokemon, or fighting off villains. Capture pokemon during special events throughout the years and make choices throughout your adventure that could have significance later on. There will be many challenges along the way, but you can handle them in any order you like!

As you make your journey through Johto you can blaze a path straight to Goldenrod and then cycle back to earlier routes to complete quests and venture paths you didn't explore before. ZZ provides many ways to advance your story and build up resources, including Escapades and personal Day Cares. Win coins at the Game Corner and buy special prizes, or earn enough money to buy your own estate. Create your own shop to sell off some of your old items...

General
1. Be respectful of others and abide by the PB ToS (PG-13).

2. No unsolicited advertising anywhere except the Advertising board.

3. We are a 1 account per person forum for thread limitation reasons. Usernames are not restricted to characters.

4. There is no activity requirements. We love it when anyone returns after a several years hiatus!

5. Avoid unnecessarily double posting.

6. Post on topic and aim for correct spelling and grammar as much as possible.

7. Do not plagiarize content from fellow RP sites, even if authored by you, to avoid any unpleasant accusations.

Role Play
1. Rules for creating Characters can be found here.

2. Once approved, characters begin in New Bark and progress through each town by meeting the requirements in the respective guides; but only the first time. Characters may freely travel to any area they've already been to.

3. Open to all levels of writers. There are no minimum word counts; but it's hard to reply to one-liners. While in-character try to write as much as you can to give mods more to respond to.

4. Be clear with the status of your threads using OOC Notes and/or adding title tags (such as [Hold] or [Fin]) so mods do not have to guess. You may have 1 thread per character on hold at a time.

5. The only time you may request a specific pokemon encounter is using the Pokémon Radar.

6. ZapdosZulu uses the exact same systems as the main stream games for battling. You can view the Battle System Guide for more info, but know that Moderators handle the mechanics. As a member all you need to do is declare the move you want to use.

7. Only REAL Pokémon are allowed.

8. When your thread is ready to be modded, submit it for modding. You can also view the current Mod List to track your thread status.

9. We try to respond to modded threads within 5 days. If your thread is on the Mod List and has been waiting longer, you may submit a mod request.

10. The same pokemon [generally] cannot be used in different battles at the same time.

Other Notes
Evolution & Moves
You will be prompted by a moderator whether you want your Pokémon to evolve when it comes up. The same applies for learning a new move if the pokemon already has 4 moves.
