Ready to take the blow with the reflective barriers now safely in place, Mephisto felt nigh untouchable at this point. "Harrumph. Are you too coward to attack?" Hoping to goad the enemy into attacking, Mephisto remained affixed to the spot, ready take on any such blows it may reckon. Watching as it lowered its horn angrily following the roar, it began to charge in a rampage. Standing perfectly still, Mephisto found this almost amusing. His powers he had utter trust and confidence in so there would be so such damaging impact to himself. Watching as the horn smashed into the reflective wall he had conjured forth, the blow was softened, causing the Nidorino to keep hitting it over and over again. "Gah hah hah hah! Stupid dummkopf! Your physical strength is of no use. What you are fee-OOF!" Watching as it finally broke through awkwardly, Mephisto readied himself as he took a grazing blow but fortunately, he was still very much in control. "Hmph. A close one. But it is of no matter. Hnnngrh!" Summoning another reflective wall, he spaced him backwards, creating a suitable amount of distance between them. Realising he would need to perfect this further still, Mephisto cackled psychically as he decided now was the best time to take a seat on the sidelines.
Levitating himself upwards, he positioned himself as a spectator to the battle before him before using his telekinetic power to force K.Rool into place. "I have had enough of your incessant yapping. Pull your weight or perish." Waddling about in protest, K.Rool barked out ruefully. "NO! YOU SCURVY PEON! JUST WHAT'RE DOIN'?! A REGAL KING LIKE ME HAS NO PLACE ON..." Now in the battle, K.Rool was right in the firing line. "Arrrrrrrgh, crud." Unsure of what the Nidorino would try to pull, the Sandile braced himself for any sort of attack however he wouldn't let the Nidorino think he had the upper hand. Shifting from reluctant to battle ready, he rather psychotically barked out at him. "Hah hah hah! Don't think my unwillingness to battle is because i'm weak. I'll show ye why i'm the head of the klan!" Despite being such a runtish size, he certainly knew how to big up his presence and create a sense of intimidation. As K.Rool predicted the Nidorino going in for an attack nonetheless from all the taunting he had done, he decided he would retaliate. Digging his claws into the earth, he got ready to produce a counter move. By swimming himself partially along the surface, he could use his peerless digging ability to bulldoze up a layer of earth and attempt to bury the Nidorino. Being a dirty cheat, he'd be sure to fight as underhanded as possible.
OOC: Swapping in K.Rool and going for a Bulldoze. Reflect/Intimidate should help in lessening damage.

The Nidorino and other speculating kin all began to roar out in unison as Mephisto decided it was time to take a back seat and allow K.Rool to show his apparent might. Many wanted to ram their horns into the loud mouthed Pokemon for his insolence, they atleast had a stronger chance of finishing him off in an onslaught of attacks in comparison to the psychic powers of the Kadabra. Snorting hot air out of it's nostrils, the opposing Nidorino atleast saw this as his chance. Hoping that if he could perhaps shut the mouth of this creature here and now, he could further gain respect from his fellow Nidokin and possibly even progress to being king of their clan. Shaking his head frantically, the Nidorino couldn't think of such lofty goals right now. For if he did, he would surely fall into the same frame of mind as K.Rool. The Nidorino wanted to be a respectable king, not a despicable one.
Roaring out loud, K.Rool was met with the sight of a charging Nidorino, heading straight for him. Head lowered, the poisonous creature focused his glare on the Sandile, keeping a close eye on the creature to ensure his attacks would hit. Immediately taking advantage of K.Rool's surprise of being forced into the front lines, the Nidorino rammed his horn forward. From the background, Mephisto summoned up another Reflect, the horn of the Nidorino breaking through due to the speed it had been moving at but it was definitely cushioned somewhat. Glaring it's eyes, the Nidorino didn't halt it's onslaught. Turning immediately, it went to lift up it's back legs but by that time, Mephisto had intervened yet again. A stronger barrier forming before K.Rool, the sight of the Nidorino kicking frantically must've been somewhat amusing.
Kicking it's back legs with all it's might, the Nidorino wasn't the type to just give up. Bit by bit, the reflect began to crack and with it came the intrusion of the Nidorino's feet into the jaw of the mighty K.Rool. Maw being kicked upright, he had anticipated such an attack and with it came his own retaliation. Claws dug under the earth, as soon as the Nidorino turned, K.Rool set his own plan into action. Uplifting a array of dirt rock from the ground, it struck the body of the Nidorino. Having not expected K.Rool to recover so fast, it leered it's eyes venomously, "Cheater!" For the Nidokin, all this duo was able to do was cheat. Making this invisible barriers, attacking with such strength, everything they were doing was just unfair!

Sensing the furious hatred of the Nidokin around him, K.Rool basked in the unyielding loathing against his person. Clearing his throat and tidying up his footing, he let out a hearty laugh as he responded to their volleys. "Har har har har har! Your hate is beautiful! Music to my ears!" Turning his head to look at the spectating Nidokin in the bushes, he snapped his maw as he continued. "You! You there! You look as if you want to kill me so bad you can taste it! Hah hah hah! The King will show you what's what." Snapping his view back at the Nidorino who was to be his opponent, the maniacal Sandile braced himself for the long haul. Noting that the Pokemon had lowered his head and followed through with a charge, K.Rool gulped to himself as he realised that for all the hire and hate he had garnished, this may not have been such a great idea. Thankfully, Mephisto would keep a watchful eye on the battle at hand. Floating above, watching down from his lofty height, he focused his powers in order to get better practice with his reflects. "Do not think this will protect you fully." His warning would be of little consolation as the Nidorino eventually broke through, causing a definite scrape against the despotic king.
Clearly shaken, K.Rool mustered enough of his delusional belief to reassure himself he was still with a fighting chance. "Hah... Hah hah! Just as I thought witnessing you curs fight from the sidelines. Yer nothing more than the dirt on my claws! Huh?!" Realising this Nidorino was not letting up, he turned to reveal his hind legs. This would not end well and even Mephisto could tell this. Expanding his power, he summoned forth more reflective shields to help protect the runt. "The rest is up to you." Mused the Kadabra as he took the approach that he wouldn't be carrying K.Rool to victory. Leering his crazed eyes at the psychic type, K.Rool turned only to be met with the startling sight of the Nidorino's blow breaking through the reflective shielding and jabbing upwards against his maw. Sending his face upright, K.Rool angrily responded with spitter flying his move move, his crown dethroned and knocked off to the side. Swimming into the ground and building up a wave of debris to bulldoze at the enemy, he laughed viciously at turning the tables. He may have had a massive helping hand but this round was enough to prove the Sandile had fighting instinct enough to be something of a threat. "Yargh! Let's see you deal with another of them! NOBODY TOUCHES THE KING!" He roared at the top of his lungs, diving back into the ground shallowly to build up another wave of debris to bulldoze at his foe.

The Nidorino leered his eyes at K.Rool, still believing the duo to be battling in every under handed way possible to ensure their victory. Even though Mephisto was watching from the side lines, he had kept up with his reflective barriers, making it much more difficult for the Pokemon to land a clean hit. Each attack and thrust made by the Nidorino was reduced in power dramatically. The barrier wasn't the strongest obstruction to break through but it was just enough to cushion the blow, making K.Rool receive far less damage than it would usually do. Atleast he had managed to knock the very crown off the head of the Sandile, although if anything, it just made him crazier. Relying on Mephisto's power to keep the King protected or from receiving too much harm, it only elevated the big headed crocodile, pushing him forward to win.
Not allowing K.Rool to be victorious, the Nidorino felt the watchful eyes of it's surrounding kin and knew that with just a little more strength, it could turn the tide of this battle. K.Rool may have had a big mouth, yapping out taunting words, but there was no denying the fact that he had been injured, gravely. Nidorino had too but for the bulky Pokemon, it needed to press on. Taking a few steps forward, it was about to lash out with another horn attack when something unexpected happened. It's front leg collapsing beneath the earth, it seemed to have fallen into some sort of pitfall. At this point realising he was a sitting duck, the Nidorino pushed and pulled, trying to free himself. This little distraction had lowered his reaction speed and with it, gave K.Rool an opening.
The Nidorino already being in the ground, the Sandile gave a toothy grin before diving back into the mound of earth. As he moved through the ground, the surface level began to uproot, raising higher and higher as it approached the Nidorino. It's pupils narrowing, K.Rool emerged with force and with it, practically buried the Nidorino with how much earth he uplifted and chucked over the top of the trapped Pokemon.

" Hah hah hah! They'll be tellin' sea shanties of this victory here today for generations to come! How the KING crushed you pathetic Nidokin. You are through and through!" Revelling in the fact he had the upper hand, it was quite odd to see K.Rool flex his muscles out for the fight. For a Pokemon which had remained on the sidelines and always relied on other Pokemon to do his tasks for him, it didn't paint him in a very good picture in terms of battle prowess. But the crocodile had at least some merit for deluding himself into such a lofty title as king and placing himself head of his crime syndicate. Breathing heavily as he let his adrenaline pump through his veins, K.Rool had got the perfect opportunity to end this when the Nidorino stumbled, falling into a pitfall which had been underhandedly placed earlier when he was tilling the land with his attack. " Hah hah hah! You stupid mook! Let me sing you the shanty I just thought up. Har har! Come all ye young fellows that follows the sea. To me, way hey, blow the man down! Now please pay attention and listen to me. Give me some time to blow the man down!" Finishing his chant with the build up of his attack, he absolutely buried the Nidorino in the most brutal fashion as he laid to rest any misguided ideas that he was nothing more than a stooge. " Hah hah hah! Let that be a lesson! Nobody messes with the king!" Waddling over to pick up his crown, he gripped it with his teeth and flung it upwards as it landed on his head comfortably. As it did, a sudden burst of light emerged from the despot's body. " Ack! Dummkopf... Finally finishing a fight of his own accord has caused him to develop?! Harrumph." Raising a reflective shield in front of his eyes, Mephisto watched on with some resistance to the light now as he watched the glowing figure seemingly contort and grow. All the while the Sandile appeared to be yelling at the top of his lungs with the sudden rush of power. Flourishing with a burst of light, the new form of King K.Rool stomped forward, folding his arms and letting out a snide laugh. " Long live the king!" It snapped with its toothy maw. Now sporting a regal cape and a much more impressive physique, it appeared K.Rool was now able to stand up on his two hind legs. Lowering himself down from the air, Mephisto eyed him over once before speaking out. " Hopefully that fight knocked some sense into your dummkopf brain. I am not your servant." Stomping forward, his arms crossed confidently, K.Rool laughed. " HAH! Right you are. No servant of mine would give such adamant back chat." An uneasy atmosphere settling in, the two of them were taken off guard by a sudden quaking. " Errrrm... If you're tryin' to unsettle me it's not working." Blinking, Mephisto raised an eyebrow incredulously. " Fool! That is you with the tremors, land croc." Realising it was neither of them, it appeared they were in a spot of trouble. Trying to concentrate his mind to find the source of the tremors, a sudden burst of light from one of the Pokeballs on Mephisto revealed Hexxus. Oozing as usual, he was keen to get on K.Rool's good side. He was an expert in manipulating people and in K.Rool's instance, it was a case of massaging his ego to get him to do what the Grimer wanted. " OhohohohohohooooOHOOHOHOHOOHOHOHohohoohohoOHOohohoohho! My liege! You look regal! Refined! Resplendent! Simply magnolious! Mhmhmhm!" Bowing before the king, K.Rool laughed and goaded at Mephisto. " There! That is the sort of lackey a boss like me wants. Someone who know-" " SILENCE FOOLS!" Having had trouble trying to decipher what was causing the tremors, Mephisto looked duly uncomfortable. " We must retreat. These Nidokin... They serve a true king." Not letting on anything more, the Pokemon levitated itself as he began distancing from here as far away as possible. A sudden few more tremors occurring, K.Rool and Hexxus were persuaded to do the same and make for a getaway. Holding onto his crown as he jogged along, K.Rool made a dash to keep up with Mephisto as Hexxus slimed his way forward like an oil spill. " Ohohohoho! Goodness! I do say, are we in a spot of bother? I should assume you two riled up these finicky Nidos to the umpteenth degree, myeeees~??" Letting out a snort, K.Rool attested as much. " Hah hah hah! They at least know not to cross paths with the K.Rool Klan!" Feeling another heavy tremor, the group stopped. " Oooooh~ Dear friends. Please, a moment. If you will. I managed to sneak out one another on our escape... Behold~!!" Grabbing into his stomach, the Grimer pulled out another Pokeball marked with an interesting, almost mechanical symbol representing the Pokemon that was inside. As the light died down, it appeared Metyrant had appeared for the ride. " Ahaha~! Dear Metyrant! A true pleasure for someone of your dignified and peerless might to associate with us middling nobodies. I would require of you a favour." Leering its eyes, Metyrant hovered in a bit closer. It knew that the present company it was in with were unscrupulous and not to be trusted. Not quite realising the full meaning of his summoning here, Hexxus let out a sudden wail as he turned and saw a Nidorino heading at them full pelt. " GAAAHHHHHHHH~!! Nidorino! On our tail, ohoho~! Do something... In fact... Mhmhmhmh. Earthquake! Split the very earth and stop these transgressors from hounding our every step, myes!" Shifting around and deciding to put their scheming on the back seat for now, the powerhouse that was Metyrant got into position. He had received a training regime from none other than Steven Stone himself. The Hoenn Champion. A simple runt charging at him was nothing. Raising his forearms, he got ready to impact them into the earth and cause the tectonic plates to part, hopefully putting this chapter against the Nidokin behind them. Once that was done, he'd get to the bottom of why they were out on their own and being chased by such angry Pokemon. OOC: Replacing Rage and Bite with Swagger and Crunch. Using x1 Rare Candy on K.Rool to make him evolve to the next level.
Then sending out Metyrant who uses Earthquake on a Nidorino.

Nidorino had wondered what was happening as it went for it's daily walk. The dinosaur like creature could not believe it's eyes as it saw a group of it's friends running away from the area as fast as they could. Being the leader of the local pack Nidorino had to get to the bottom of this problem and fast before the pack abandoned their home in terror. As Nidorino followed the trails of the other pack members footsteps it quickly noticed a group of Pokemon that had to have been responsible for the chaos. Nidorino was really surprised that such a mischievous looking group of Pokemon had taken out so many of it's friends with such little visible effort. As the nearly king like Nidorino watched the group from afar one Pokemon in the group scared it to death. The Pokemon it took notice of was a blue metallic Pokemon with piercing red eyes. As Nidorino had no idea what else it could do it began to charge towards the metal Pokemon with it's horn lowered. Nidorino rammed it's horn into the floating Pokemon's body but the flying tank like Pokemon shrugged it off after barely reacting at all. After shrugging off the horn attack the metallic Pokemon suddenly crashed into the ground. The impact from the heavy Pokemon caused the earth to shake violently opening large crevices in the ground. The landscape looked like a wasteland as a result of the attack and poor Nidorino suffered greatly from the attack. It had fallen half way into a crevice and broke one of it's legs desperately trying to free itself. Standing on three legs and in a lot of pain Nidorino refused to run from the Metang despite being in a rather poor state physically. It was the leader of it's pack and it was not about to let a Pokemon with the heart of a machine chase it from it's home no matter how strong the robotic Pokemon was. Nidorino roared as it looked at Metang as it desperately tried to stay standing on it's three remaining good legs hoping for a true miracle but ready to die if all else failed in order to protect it's home. Metyrant unlike most of Joey's selection of Pokemon was a battle hardened veteran which had faced an incredible training regime under his previous owner, Steven Stone and directly from Joey himself. Having faced Pokemon from the world over, region to region, there was nothing that would daunt this indomitable being. Seeing the Nidorino approach closer, Metyrant showed no erring, no hesitation in taking on what would be his opponent. The Metang was still unsure what manner of shenanigans it had been roped into but ultimately it had one job and that was the swift defeat of this aggressor. Watching the alpha Nidorino come over to their group, Metyrant steeled his poise, ready for any potential offensive. Having anticipated the Nidorino's attack fairly well, the Pokemon stood its ground and let the vicious horn attack merely glance off his steel plated armour. What had been a confounding and deadly attack to Mephisto was a mere joke to Metyrant's defences. Having understood Hexxus had ushered him along to Earthquake, Mephisto's eyes glowed as he levitated himself and K.Rool and Hexxus up into the air to avoid any damaging impact of being on the ground. "Even with Metyrant, we still face a much more dangerous foe incoming." Shifting his attentions to Mephisto, Hexxus cackled obnoxiously.
"Ohohohohoho~!! My dear friend, my dear, dear, friend. That is a trifling matter when we have the might of an ex-champion fighting for us. Do put aside your silly fears for once, mmmmm~?" K.Rool on the other hand was much more intent on the fight. "Hah hah hah! That! I demand that as a minion for the klan!" Having wrecked absolute havoc with an earthquake on the opposing side, it was becoming apparent from their heightened view from above that Metyrant had struck a divide in the earth's plates and with a bit more influencing, would be able to coax a complete parting of the ground between them and the Nidokin den. Oozing at the chance to be free and able to continue on their catching spree, Hexxus yelled out. "Metyrant! O mighty gladiator! The fiend still lives! Be a good sport and pound another earthquake off, mhmhmhm~?!" Ignoring the Grimer's request, Metyrant turned to face the Nidorino. It had thought very little of this opponent going into battle and its horn attack had done little to persuade it being a worthy opponent otherwise, but it had to respect it somewhat for being able to hang in from one of its strongest attacks in its arsenal. Not caring about causing a divide but rather disposing of its foe, Metyrant whirred its arms around and got ready to strike off another earthquake.

Pain throbbed in one of the Nidorino's legs, constantly reminding it of the devastating pain it had recently received. Whatever it was facing was a powerful force to be reckoned with, it was no wonder that most of it's kin had been destroyed around it. Still, being so close to take the crown, this Nidorino knew that it was destined for royalty, so shoved it's fear and pain aside. It wanted to protect it's den with every fibre of it's being, to prove that it would be a reliable leader and if by destroying this seemingly indestructible foe would prove that, then so be it. Surrounded by upturned and ravaged earth from the previous attack, a low grumble began to sound from the Nidorino. The sound turning into that of a roar, with an incredible amount of will power, the Nidorino dashed forward on it's three legs. A broken bone was not going to stop this Pokemon.
Approaching Metyrant with immense bravery and courage, the Nidorino used it's front leg to punch out at the floating foe, the contact of it's cold, hard body not dissuading the Nidorino. Moving in with a second punch, rather than kick, the Pokemon wanted to push the Metang as far away from the den as possible. More Earthquakes would only result in further harm to it's clan, the last thing the wild Pokemon wanted. Still, it seemed that no amount of physical force could damage the Metang. Not a single scratch appearing on it's floating body. Eyes narrowing, the Nidorino wasn't going to give up but it knew that once damage had been dealt, it was then going to receive and this particular opponent was able to hit hard.
Having followed the momentum of the Nidorino's attacks, Metyrant was still floating with reasonable health. It's training over the years and strict words of wisdom from Steven Stone meant that this legendary being was a hard one to defeat. Prideful, no matter the situation the other Pokemon had landed themselves in, Metyrant itself was not planning on losing the battle. Lifting it's arms up into the air, it then jabbed them down into the earth, a fearsome rumbling occuring shortly after the actionn. Looking around frantically as it felt the earth shift particularly around itself, the Nidorino roared out as the very earth began to part. Sections of the ground giving way, the poor Nidorino was swallowed by an opening, body being crushed as the ground continued to shift. Practically trapped in the earth with just it's upper half free, the Nidorino tried frantically to claw itself free from it's pitfall prison, eyes barely managing to stay open.

With the nefarious alliance all realising just how damaging Metyrant's moves had been, they seemed to swell up with the fact they had this fight in the bag. K.Rool was the first to pick up on this, folding his arms and stamping a foot forward with a mighty swagger. "Hah hah hah! Look at the whelp struggle! I think we can conclude this won!" "Mhmhmmhmhmhm myes... It would most certainly seem that the strength of a champion is imbued in our most gracious Metang. I was right in swiping that extra Pokeball from back in the warehouse. I would say our rebellion is perhaps ready to conquer." Silence however remained from Mephisto and Metyrant. Both of them analysing the situation, it appeared they were not too quick to write off the Nidorino. From all his years of battling under Steven Stone, Metyrant had come to realise that even in perilous moments such as these, even a Pokemon on the cusp of losing could call upon some powerful inner strengths not immediately made known. Mephisto on the other hand could sense the Pokemon's inner mind and see the defiance it exuded. "Hmph. Save your jeers." He mumbled as the Nidorino began to start hobbling forward. "Buh-wha~?!? The Nidorino still fights!? Ohohohohohohoho~!! Perhaps the rebellion could spare still one more place!" Fumbling his oozing fingers about, it seemed the Grimer was already plotting more machinations with such a determined foe being made into as an ally.
Steeling himself for the next round, Metyrant's mechanical body whirred into place as he assumed a battle position. Allowing the Pokemon some dignity in being able to hobble over without trying to stop his advance, the Metang took the improvised double kicks dead on, rebounding backwards slightly from the still respectable force. However, whilst the Pokemon had allowed its foe the chance to attack, Metyrant was going to follow through with his side of the round. And with that, he would use the full power he possessed from his lineage and intense training to vanquish this foe. Jabbing his arms into the ground like pounders and striking at the earth would incredible precision, it appeared the Pokemon had been able to gauge just exactly where the tectonic plates were beneath it from having done so in the previous round. Burying the Pokemon almost with a gap in the floor giving way, the floating allies above where shocked to see a massive fissure in the ground had parted and created a massive valley like gap between their land and the den of the Nidokin. "That should hopefully prevent the advance from the beast I am sensing. It is rampaging trying to find us..." Deliberated Mephisto who was still very much shaken by what he had detected.
Amazingly to the whole group, the Nidorino had still some fight left in him. It wasn't much but it was amazing to see a Pokemon take two earthquakes on and from a Pokemon trained by a champion no less. "MHM! My friends, my dear friends. I propose we open our arms and invite this adamant foe into our fold. It'll take some convincing i'm sure but a Pokemon that can withstand blows like this.... OhohoOohohohohoohoOhooHohohooh~!!" His arm stetching out and sliming into Mephisto's pocket, Hexxus waited for no one's agreement as he threw an Ultraball down at the Nidorino. Much to the chagrin of Mephisto who would rather they have nothing more to do with the Nidokin. Metyrant too was angered as fights were to be conquered, not won through catching. The only one which seemed joyous to the fact was K.Rool who was laughing heartily. "Welcome to the klan!"

Sliming his hand into the pocket of Mephisto, Hexxus managed to draw out an Ultra Ball to be used on the Pokemon below. Trapped within the ground, the lower half of the Nidorino's body had practically been crushed under the weight of the earth that had attempted to engulf him. But with it's front legs, the Pokemon was still trying to pull and crawl itself to freedom. No matter how little health it had left, it wanted to protect those it loved. No matter the cost. Pausing with baited breath, the stuck Nidorino stared toward the floating Metyrant, glaring with it's angered eyes. Even with such a low amount of health, the Nidorino still saw the Metang as a worthy foe, one the Nidorino very much wanted to kill at this point. It's moment of pause coming to a close, the Nidorino once again tried to force itself up in order to continue battling as where it was only meant it was a sitting target for another earthquake.
However, it had something much worse to fear. With Hexxus conjuring up a plan, he had decided to throw the Ultra Ball, ultimately tapping and drawing in the body of the Nidorino. It had become freed from the earthy pit but that was better than being a part of this senseless rebellion.

With a number of the Pokemon present excited on whether the Nidorino would be able to resist the capture as well or fall to them as an unwilling ally, Mephisto remained unusually quiet, his mind trying to divulge what the behemoth like presence was that loomed in the distance. " Hmph... This greatly worries me." Keeping his concerns to himself, he was distracted by the sudden click of their capture attempt succeeding. " Hah hah hah! This capture business is fit for a king! Onwards! We must capture more for the kremlin army!" Lowering them all to the ground, Mephisto levitated himself off to where the divide had been made by Metyrant's repeated abuse of the tectonic plates beneath them and assessed the gap. " That should impede any pursuers..." Looking up, his eyes narrowed with fear as he noticed the very trees of the forest parting from the force of a Pokemon vengefully coming at them. " IT COMES!" Roared Mephisto as he was finally able to deduce what the Pokemon was. Unable to warn the others, by the time it came into the view, it was quite obviously a barbaric Nidoking. And this wasn't any Nidoking. This one appeared to be colossal in size. " He is larger than even Turncoat...!" Trembled Mephisto as he had only one comparison to draw sizes up against. Teleporting to the safety of the group, Mephisto made clear their pressing need to get as far away from here as possible. " Our transgressions have bought about the ire of their leader. Flee you fools!" Realising it was every Pokemon for themselves, Mephisto began teleporting away in bursts, leaving the group in sheer terror of what had come about from their actions. " T-That... Oh cripes..." " Buh-buh-buh-buh-! Saaaaave our souls! Have some mercy!" Even the stoic Metyrant appeared somewhat unnerved. However, a fight was a fight and it had been taught never to back down. Putting itself to the fore, they were ready for it to attack. Thankfully however, the earthquake created divide had been enough of a distance for it to pass safely. " Ooooh~! Oh myes! We're saved! Metyrant you valiant protector! It's unable to cross! Yipeeeee!" Oozed Hexxus as relief washed over him. The scheming sludge would be proven wrong however. Letting out an enraged roar which reverberated through the air to instil sheer fear into the heart's of those present, the Nidoking took a few steps back before launching itself forwards with a mighty leap. Soaring through the air, the Pokemon's strength was enough to send it over the majority of the divide. Not quite making it over, the Pokemon slipped but managed to grip onto the edge. Scuffling upwards, it wasn't long before it had made it up, ready to exact revenge for the loss of its kin. Zooming towards him, Metyrant was the first to try and subdue this barbaric king. Ready to strike at him with a jab to his stomach, the Nidoking let out another deafening roar before it slammed Metyrant flying off into a tree with a mighty swing of its tail. Given that most research had concluded that its tail possessed enough destructive power to crush a telephone pole like it was a matchstick, it was any wonder the Metang had managed to survive. Quivering, the coward Krokorok and equally scared Grimer embraced one another before Hexxus decided in act of of desperation it might be able to use its silver tongue to assuage the Pokemon from harming them. Sliming forwards apprehensively, Hexxus called out. " Ahhhh, oh majestic Nidoking, please forgive the actions of my-URK!" STOMP. Flattening the Grimer with a mighty crush of his foot, it seemed as if Hexxus had been smeared all over the ground before the Nidoking's foot. Clearly not in the mood for words, it stomped forward, ready to strike at K.Rool. " O-Oh no... N-No... It weren't me... That was all that Kadabra's fault that's gettin' away... Ehah. I tried to stop him. I tried to-HAH! EAT DIRT YOU LUMBERING MOOK!" Suddenly digging his tail into the ground, he whipped it around to try and kick up some dirt and blind the Nidoking. Despite his cheating ways, the attempt would have no effect. Merely grunting and blowing away the debris with the force of his nostrils, the incandescent Nidoking pummelled K.Rool off to the side. With the majority of the alliance curb stomped, the Nidoking let out a bloodthirsty roar as it beat its chest. From what it had been told, there was but one more aggressor involved in this fiasco. He would have his head. Having teleported away to a safe distance, Mephisto pushed himself up against a tree and panted heavily. " Wheeze... Hack... Oof... I'm safe..." Wiping the sweat from his forehead, the Pokemon scrunched up his face as he thought of the other members of the alliance he had left behind. Mephisto was not the caring type. He was self centred, focusing only on himself. As this was the case, why was he having regrets fill his mind about leaving them behind? Shaking his head, he brushed it aside. " Harrumph! What a fool I am! Why am I running?! From a Nidoking no less... I am Mephisto. A GOD. I am not to be cowered by such a lowly being." Nodding, it seemed the Pokemon had hatched a belief for him to hold onto as he began making his way back. For battling reasons, not to the rescue of his allies of course. Making his way back in no time at all, Mephisto looked to terrifying Nidoking and felt himself quake uncontrollably. " D-Dummkopf...! You are to b-bow... Before the... M-Might of Mephisto!" Raising his hand, clenching onto his spoon, he was met with a defiant roar that had him almost teleport to another region in safety. Trying to put aside his fears, Mephisto remained staunch in his demands. " FOOL! I WILL END YOU!" Charging towards him with his horn lowered, Mephisto winced his face in surprise as he had to suddenly think of what to do. Unable to teleport from having exhausted his power so much in his escape and return, it meant he would have to rely on other talents. " REFLECT! Protect me!" Summoning his psychic ability, he miraculously forged a barrier between him and the murderous Nidoking. Bouncing off the barrier with some surprise, the Nidoking roared aggressively as he began beating at the see through wall. " I don't have enough time...! PSYSHOCK ONSLAUGHT!" Raising a hand to his head to amplify his powers, he utilised his spoon to power up even further. Sending a blast of psychic alpha waves at the Nidoking, Mephisto attempted pummel the Nidoking into submission. Sending an unrelenting volley of psychic shocks, the Nidoking barely responded to the attacks, almost as if they were mere tickles to his impressive battle armour. " Nein... This isn't enough...!" Now fearing his chances, Mephisto was met with even more bad luck as the Nidoking suddenly booted through the reflective barrier he had held up. Pointing at the Kadabra furiously, it seemed he was going to rip him limb from limb for all the genocide he had bought to his kind. Stomping forwards, Mephisto let out a pant as he realised his energy reserves were running direly low. " No... This can't end like this..." Putting up more half hearted reflective barriers, the Nidoking merely strolled through them, breaking their presence with his sheer contact. Roaring barbarously, it looked as if this rebellion had been quashed. Not at the hands of Joey. Nor his gang members. Or at the conspiring of one of their own. But at the hands of a mighty king looking to avenge his people. Towering before Mephisto, the Nidoking created a foreboding shadow over the Psi Pokemon and got ready to finally achieve his goal of vengeance. Raising a fist and bringing it crashing down with great prejudice, Mephisto forced a protective reflect to appear above him, causing sparks to fly as the Nidoking tried to crush through it. " No... This will not end here..." His body erupting in a burst of blinding light, Mephisto roared out, his voice booming psychically and blaring into the minds of any living being within the nearby vicinity. " I AM A GOD!" Shining so brightly, the Nidoking was forced to back off as it shielded its eyes. By the time it died down, a new and improved Mephisto stood before him. He had always considered himself a God but now he had transcended even that. " ALAKAZAM!" He roared triumphantly. Placed in such a perilous position, it seemed he had drawn upon whatever latent psychic power he had not been able to tap into until now to force himself up the evolutionary ladder. " You dare fight a God?! BEHOLD! MIGHT OF MEPHISTO!" Closing his eyes, a rather shocking revelation came to light. A third eye opened up on his forehead. Utilising the power of his miracle eye, it appeared that Mephisto was assessing the Nidoking's very being in order to purge this terrible foe. " I will show you the very power I possess... Hnnnngrhh....!" Thrusting both of his arms forward, spoons clenched, a tremendous surge of psychic energy created a chaotic orb like object in front of him. Building it up to a perilous level, the Alakazam shot it forward at the Nidoking, seemingly engulfing the Pokemon whole. " YOUR VERY LIFE! IS MINE FOR THE TAKING! Abrakadabralakazam!" Reciting the words over and over, the orb seemed to crush down on the Nidoking before parting with the body with a great deal of repelling as it exited. Floating in the air was now a swirling, glowing orb. " Hmphhmphhmphhmph... You are now but a husk." Finally tapping into the Pokemon's mind using his psychic energy, Mephisto decided to make sure the Pokemon would have no chance of exacting any more fancies of revenge against them. Turning the lifeless husk around, he sombrely marched it over to the divide that had been caused and without so much a hint of mercy, made him step once over the edge, causing the behemoth king to go tumbling down into the abyss. Panting heavily, Mephisto was about ready to pass out from exhaustion. Tumbling forwards, he at least propped himself up with his knee as he struggled to keep conscious. " I always knew... I was... A God..." Falling forwards and passing out, it seemed despite the Nidoking's defeat, he had at least made sure of the alliance's defeat. With time itself proceeding on well into the night, it seemed as if nobody would be getting up from their crushing blows. All except a certain slippery character. Pooling himself together as his slime like body poured out from the ground itself, Hexxus reconstituted himself and appeared to have been the only one who came out alright from the confrontation. " Tsk, tsk, tsk. Deary, deary me. To think our delightful plans of rebellion and revolt were also destroyed by a kingly figure. Mhmhmhmhmhmhmh~!!" Looking around, he noticed Metyrant slammed into a tree and K.Rool unconscious slumped against a tree also. " Oooooooh bless. Out for the count, mhm." Noticing their Pokeballs on the floor, he recalled them before looking over and noticing what appeared to be Mephisto. " Ahhhh! My dear friend. Have you...? Oho~!! I do say~! It appears you have evolved... Mm?" Prodding his head, it appeared he had well and truly over exerted himself and was still out cold. Problematically still, it appeared a nearby Pokemon was looking to try lay some of its parasitic spores on the Psychic Pokemon. " NOW! We well and truly cannot have that. Off with you, shoo!" Having only just seen the Paras in the vicinity, Hexxus appeared terrified at the thought of a mushroom gaining control of a mind as powerful as Mephisto's. Flicking forward some of his sludge like body, he hoped to dispel the creature's presence. OOC: Hopefully people don't mind me including this beastly Nidoking for the sake of roleplay. Considering how many Nidokin have been slaughtered it sort of makes sense for the king to pop out to take care of the threat. Also using this as a means to explain how Mephisto gains the life orb.
Moving Twisted Spoon onto Mephisto, using Rare Candy x2 and evolving into Alakazam. Doesn't learn Telekinesis.
Metyrant doesn't learn Miracle Eye.
Boxing Nidorino.
Then switching to night time from all that grinding and having Hexxus use Sludge on a Paras.

Paras had been intrigued by what sounded like a war off in the distance. The tiny bug was used to hearing local Pokemon have skirmishes but the sounds of the battle were far more fierce than anything the small Pokemon had ever heard. Although Paras was far from a fast Pokemon it was intrigued by the sounds as it slowly headed in the direction of the battle. Paras was hoping that whatever was fighting would take the homes of the local Pokemon into consideration during the battle. Paras had it's own home wrecked by two Nidorino fighting to become the leader of the local pack. Having seen what the bigger Pokemon on the route could do in a battle Paras was worried for the safety of all the Pokemon who might live near the ongoing battle. As the bug slowly followed a dirt path it could see what looked like a massive Nidoking and a small group of Pokemon in the middle of a battle. Paras was too far away to get a look at the other Pokemon but it got a feeling that the smaller Pokemon had done something to upset Nidoking and the giant Pokemon was trying to stop the group of smaller Pokemon from doing anything else. Paras tried to close the distance while staying hidden in the bushes on the side of the dirt path to avoid drawing attention to itself. The Nidoking looked huge and the last thing it wanted to do was get in a fight when all it wanted to do was watch. By the time it got close to the battle however it was over. The group of smaller Pokemon had been beaten to a pulp but they somehow managed to defeat the king. Paras watched as one of the groups Pokemon used it's psychic powers to drain the mind of the king before making him fall into the abyss. Paras did not know what species of Pokemon it was but as it collapsed Paras went over to check on it. As Paras got close however the sounds of something dripping caught it's attention. As the bug realized another Pokemon in the group had recovered from the battle it jumped back and hissed as it knew a battle could not be avoided. Before the Grimer could land a hit with it's Sludge attack Paras sent over a cloud of sleep inducing moveSpore. Hexxus tried to stay awake but the Spore proved to be too much for the pile of toxic sludge to handle and he fell asleep. With the Grimer that tried to attack it asleep Paras thought about how it should procede. It wanted to run but it was so slow the other Pokemon in the group would catch it if they recovered in time and as such Paras made up it's mind to make a brave last stand. A level 26 Paras has taken notice of your Pokemon and accepts your challenge to battle. Wild Pokemon Battle

Flicking his arm some more, Hexxus mumbled agitatedly to himself as he realised his pools of sludge were falling short of actually hitting the troubling creature. "Now, now~ We can't have your dainty, infectious spores taking root over my dear friend here, ohohohohoho no, no, no~ That will not do. Mhm." Tiring of flicking his arms, the Grimer watched as the Paras appeared to be up to something strange. Having observed one or two from their earlier conquests, Hexxus was aware they primarily used their mushroom spores situated on their backs in order to attack and defend against opponents but this one seemed to be a bit different than usual. "Hmmmmmmm? Don't be silly now, i'm not in the mood for games, mhmhm, myes~" Watching as the Pokemon came to a sudden halt, Hexxus made an incredulous flash of his expression before being taken aback by Paras' sudden attack. Having conjured up the most potent of its spores from the mushroom growths on its back, it appeared that the Pokemon had decided to disarm Hexxus from doing any considerable damage by lulling him to sleep with irresistible influence in the form of its sleeping spores.
"Buh-buh-buh-buh-what?! No! No, no, no, no, no, NO~! This... Won't... Do... At... All... Zzzzzzzz..." Realising far too late as the cloud of spores drifted over to his vicinity, Hexxus failed at stopping breathing in time as the spores carried into his breathing space. Quivering in terror, the Pokemon knew this may potentially be the end of their outing and ultimate goal. Having returned Metyrant and K.Rool given their unconscious state and with Mephisto out cold with the rest of the Pokemon on him, it meant they were at mercy to whatever fate had in store for them. Feeling his eyes get heavier and heavier, Hexxus stretched out his arm in one last futile attempt before it disconnected with his body and fell to the ground with a gloopy impact. Losing form also, it wasn't long before Hexxus was now but a puddle of sludge lathering over the blades of grass beneath him. As if by some miraculous stroke of luck, with his body now no longer able to constitute itself nor hold any hidden away items, it meant that a spare back up capture device was now freed. Popping out with some surprising force, the Quick Ball primed itself before shooting towards and aiming for the Paras.

Alone on the battlefield, Hexxus had attempted to bat away the curious Pokemon. But, instead, he'd instigated battle. The timid Paras wished to run, but in a defensive maneuver, had attacked in order to save itself. Grimer weren't a common sight in these parts; at least, Paras had never seen them before. Such an unknown variable in the constant that were the routes surrounding the Ghost City, it simply wouldn't do. The Spore hit head on, and before the Grimer could retaliate, it had breathed in the affected air. Things were going off without so much as a hitch! Paras clicked it's claws together in a few sounds of joy as it began to turn and flee from the battle. Hexxus could probably take care of himself, right? The clinking sounds of rolling items caught the crab's attention, however. It's beady eyes focused on the shiny objects that began to roll and come out of the sludge's body. One in particular caught it's eye, distracting it from the Quick Ball that was honing in on the crab. Curiosity fetching the better of it, Paras scuttled forward to investigate the strange phenomenon. Did all Grimery carry items in their horrendously smelling smudge? Apparently, and the items were painful! The Quick Ball smacked into Paras, and before it could piece together what was happening, it was already sucked inside the capsule. Talk about quick. As much as Paras struggled, the capsule merely shook with the force. Not even it's claws were harming it! Shaking once... twice... and thrice! Successful Capture!
Congratulations! Wild Paras has been captured! Please fill out the form to claim your new teammate.

Slumbering away still thanks to the sleeping properties of the spore that the Paras had decided to inflict on the scheming sludge, it was testament to the effectiveness of the Pokemon's spores with how sound asleep Hexxus was. Given he was always plotting and scheming away, knowing full well he would need to be awake to stay ahead of the game and keep things running with him in control as puppet master, there was definite surprise Hexxus was unable to wake himself up even with such a determined willpower about him. "Zzzzzzzzzz... Mmhmhmhmhmh~!!... Oh... Yes... Yes...~~!" Blathering away deep in his world of dreams, it appeared he had no idea of what had so fortunately unfolded in the battle. As the quick ball worked to take care of the Paras, it seemed as if a potential mishap with spores taking over Mephisto's brain had been averted. Of course, that would count on whether or not if the unwitting capture would succeed or not.
Thankfully the capturing device made good of its purpose. Sealing away the Paras, it meant that they had enlisted yet another Pokemon to the ranks of the rebellion and a powerful one at that. Given it had such effective sleeping spores, no doubt they would have the drop on any opponent they faced. Now if only Hexxus would awake. With Mephisto out cold still and no other Pokemon of theirs unable to chip in to help, it meant that time went on.
And on.
And on.
And on.
And on.
And... On.
And on and on and on.
In fact, time marched on for quite some time and yet still no developments unfolded.
At this point, one soul within the rebellion was becoming restless and decided to break free from his confines to see what exactly was going on. Having believed to have been ditched earlier, it would be Scar that came bursting out of his Pokeball. Emerging from the pockets of Mephisto's jacket that stored all the numerous balls they had equipped, the curled up Whirlipede span around on his body to get an idea of the situation. "Has it really come to this? Obviously they did not share my survival instincts." As quick thinking as he was when it came to shortening the length of fights with fatal conclusions, the assassin came to understand the situation. "Mephisto has become far greater in power... But at what cost? And Hexxus... He sleeps. A lone captured Pokemon too. I see." Leering its eyes, the Pokemon realised there had been an altercation.
About to ram into Hexxus' body to try and rouse him awake, the Whirlipede stopped as it noticed the entrance of yet another Paras. With it scuttling out without so much a care in the world, the Pokemon was fast to draw a similar terrifying realisation that had bothered Hexxus. "Time for elimination has come." About to go whirling off and dispatching of the enemy, the Pokemon realised it had another asset before it. In the pile of sludge filled goop was another spare capture device free. "I can use this." Shifting his path, the Pokemon whirred into knocking the Dusk Ball out of Hexxus reach and sent it flying towards the Paras.

OOC: Replacing Sludge with Sludge Bomb (Hell yeahs, I love this move all the way since gen 1). Putting Scar to bat but instead of attacking throwing Dusk Ball right away at the requested Paras.
With the previous Paras, donating that to Karin as she was quick enough to claim it in the cbox when offered.
