🎁Mystery Gift🎁 While the Moderator Reward System allows you to earn Mod Points for every full length mod post, Mystery Gifts are setup as an incentive for those quick mod tasks/posts that are ineligible. The contents of a box are highly unpredictable and include various things such as TMs, berries, held items, evolution stones, RTs, Pokémon eggs, even a Fossil! There are a few ways that you can earn a Mystery Gift. Firstly, contributing to modding tasks that otherwise wouldn't net you mod points. Cash in 20 of any combination of the below for 1 Mystery Gift! ◓ Approving and setting up a new character,
◓ Handling an Egg Spawn or Hatch request,
◓ Updating a new Adoption or Donation,
◓ Stamping a card for someone trying their luck at the Toy Vending Machine,
◓ Each round of an Estate Treasure Hunt,
◓ Anyone with a mod license making a mod reply of ~100 words* (or less) under the Bicycle Rule,
◓ Grading an Escapade (also eligible for EXP rewards under normal Moderator Rewards),
◓ Volunteering with the Bug Catching Contest (BCC). Every mod post there counts no matter the length,
◓ and select Monthly (staff only) or Event activities when they are active. They will be specifically noted.
*Generally if you write more than 100 words it is considered a full length reply for the purposes of claiming Mod Points, but use judgment as to how much thought and effort went into the reply.
Alternatively, there are other general methods for obtaining mystery gifts: ◓ Mods can purchase a gift for 10 Mod Points,
◓ Anyone can purchase a gift for 500 coins,
◓ Every 100 ads on your Pokéwalker awards a gift,
◓ As a mod, every 10 ads checked for a Pokéwalker is equivalent to 1 Bike Post,
◓ And for each recruit you bring to the site you can open 3 gifts!
