The specialty colored Alolan Rattata thought the human and Croagunk duo were talking too much and weren't cluing in to him about what "Whitney was. It clicked its teeth and and squeaked. "What are you talking about? What's a gym? What's Whitney? Tell me! Tell me!" However, there wasn't much of a response from the poison type as he was preparing for a Drain Punch. The curious Rattata darted forward to slam into the poison type, but the Croagunk barely felt a scratch and then turned around to jab it with a blow to suck its life force. The exhausted Rattata ran away as quickly as it came, scurrying off into the darkness for a speedy recovery. The Goldenrod Tunnel was quiet once again. Every battle brought Venom and his team much closer for this "Whitney" and "gym".
Croagunk gained 1200 exp for winning! He is now Level 29! (1045/2611) to next level! Toxel gained 1 level from EXP Share! Now level 5!

As the invasive Alolan Mouse Pokemon scurried off, Croagunk gave his fists another crack, not satisfied with the incredibly easy battle, but glad that he was able to grow stronger from it at least. "You sure you didn't wanna answer that Rattata's questions, master? Don't you love talking to Pokemon, wild or not?" The Toxic Mouth Pokemon asked Venom, knowing very well about his trainer's fondness for all things Pokemon, the poison sacks in his cheeks continuing to expand and contract with every single word he spoke. Admittedly, Venom did feel at least a little bad that he basically ignored the Normal/Dark type's pleads for knowledge, but even he had limits. And at this particular point in time, he had far too much on his mind to dwell on something so small and insignificant.
"Of course, I do, Croagunk. But we don't have time for small talk right now. Besides, given how hard you can hit, I doubt that Rattata would've remembered anything I would've told it anyway." It seemed as though the ninja still had time to make jokes, earning himself a few small chuckles from his Poison/Fighting type comrade. "It's funny because it's true. Anyway, call me when something tougher comes along. I'll see you then, master. Later." Croagunk recalled himself back to his Pokeball, still far too bored and uninterested to remain outside the red and white orb any longer. Understanding the amphibious Pokemon's feelings on the matter, Venom once again resumed his trek through the water-logged tunnel, searching for whoever or whatever he and his Pokemon friends would end up fighting against next.

The next challenger was easy to find as it wasn't trying to hide. Not that floating chunks of metal were ever stealthy. A few were gathered close together, as if ready to evolve in a magneton right then and there, as some dex entries seemed to imply, but upon spotting Venom, most of them scattered, leaving a single one behind. It turned to watch Venom idly. Clearly it wasn't used to being in any danger. Its steel body withstood most blows and its sparks deterred any sort of predator that might think to dine on literal metal for a snack. As Venom didn't look like a walking bonfire, it didn't see the need to be alarmed. Humans couldn't do much to it. So the magnemite just continued to float. Unbothered. Staring. Watching. Sparks skipped between the prongs of the magnets on either side of its body. A threat display or just a natural function of biology? Hard to tell. Its face being a single eye made determining expressions and mood difficult.

With his feet completely soaked, Venom continued his search for training partners for his Pokemon in Goldenrod City's famous, or perhaps infamous, Underground Tunnel. Although, given its currently flooded status, there didn't appear to be very many trainers, employees, or thugs present in the tunnel at this time. This gave the ninja at least some peace of mind, but that came to an abrupt end when the sounds of sparks arrived at his ears. At first, Venom thought that these sounds were nothing more than a down power line, but his curiosity paid off, as he followed those sounds and came face to face with a wild Magnemite. Well, several wild Magnemites, but the lower leveled ones flew off as soon as the Poison type trainer made his appearance, leaving only the strongest Magnet Pokemon of the bunch remaining. But even with the odds evened out, Venom still narrowed his eyes at the lone Pokemon before him, putting his game face on right away.
If there was one thing that Venom always took seriously, it was the moments when his beloved Poison type Pokemon got the chance to battle a Steel type Pokemon. Given the Steel type's clear advantage against Poison types, people often assumed that in a battle between these two types, Steel would win every time. But Team Toxic aimed to prove them all wrong, as the purple-haired trainer grabbed a Great Ball from his bag and activated the device. "The universe has presented us with a chance to show our true power, Seviper! I know you can do this, my friend! So, go get that Magnemite!" With one good toss, the Fang Snake Pokemon appeared in the flooded tunnel, glaring and hissing at her floating foe even faster than her trainer did. Clearly, Seviper shared Venom's feelings on the matter of Poison vs Steel, and was every bit as determined to prove the majority dead wrong.
"Ah, a Magnemite. So nice of you show yourself to us, darling. A shame this meeting isn't under better circumstances." Seviper addressed the Electric/Steel type, then glanced at Venom and questioned him, staying perfectly composed the entire time. "I assume we're going with the strategy we discussed for encounters like these. Is that correct, master?" After giving her a quick nod, Venom pointed straight at Magnemite and gave Seviper the one and only command she'd need to emerge victorious in this battle where she had a type disadvantage. "You've got it, Seviper! Show this Steel type what a Poison type is capable of! Use Flamethrower now!" Not needing to be told twice, or even once for that matter, Seviper built up massive amounts of heat in her jaws, then released all that heat in a powerful stream of flames, all aimed right at the floating mass of metal.

The magnemite was a little confused by the snake. It had seen these before. Poison types usually left it alone. After all, they couldn't really do any damage to its sleek, shiny, steel exterior. But as it sparked up a bit to warn off any foolishness, the snake did something baffling. It slithered up with a sultry, sinister croon, opened its maw and BREATHED OUT A JET OF FIRE! What kind of snake breathed fire?! This magnemite had never met a one in its life! It's pupil shrank and it sparked even more violently, but it was too late to defend itself from the burning onslaught. The heat was instant and overpowering. Its perfect finish was instantly overheated and scorched. Streaks of ash marred its exterior as the wild magnemite dropped to the ground, utterly overwhelmed and without recourse. Defeated. Little more than a streak smeared on the seviper's firey path to victory. It would take a while before it recovered and hurriedly floated away.
Magnemite didn't even know what hit it. (25*50=1250)Seviper gained 1250 exp for that victory 2575/1951 Seviper gained a level! Grew to LV 26. 624/2107 to next level! (+1 happiness) Toxel also gained a LV and grew to LV 6

Magnemite's steely body was in for some serious expanding and contracting, as it was first heated up by Seviper's Flamethrower, then fell into the cold water of the flooded tunnel once it was defeated. Fortunately, since it didn't have lungs, it didn't require air to keep on living. Which is also why Venom had absolutely no qualms about leaving the Magnet Pokemon where it fell, while Seviper savored her victory over the Steel type, smirking triumphantly. "Not to boast, but this outcome was inevitable. So sorry, darling, but even you Steel types are simply no match for Team Toxic. I'm afraid the times are changing, and not in your favor, I must say." Even though the unconscious Magnemite couldn't actually hear what Seviper was saying to it, she still enjoyed her moment in the spotlight to the fullest, having accomplished what most other trainers and Pokemon said was next to impossible for her kind.
Still, one victory alone wasn't enough for the Fang Snake Pokemon. She wanted more and knew very well that there were plenty more battles in Team Toxic's future, turning to face her trainer a few seconds after her moment of glory. "So, shall we be moving on then, master?" As eager as Venom was to complete Team Toxic's training and win his third gym badge, there was one more thing that needed to be addressed before they went any further into the underground tunnels. "Just a sec, Seviper. I need to check on Toxel first." The ninja decided that it was about time for him to check up on the newest and youngest addition to his team of poisonous Pokemon, retrieving Toxel's Pokeball from his bag and letting the Baby Pokemon out into his arms. Once she was, the Kantonian trainer looked down at the small Pokemon, smiled at her, and spoke to her in a soft and gentle tone of voice.
"Hello there, little one. It's good to see you again. You're looking a lot stronger now. How do you feel?" As Venom waited for the young Pokemon to give him any kind of response, Seviper slithered over to him, wanting to get a closer look at her adorable teammate and friend. However, the first word that Toxel spoke when she awoke from her slumber wasn't exactly what the Poison type trainer had in mind. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Like most newly hatched Pokemon, Toxel began to cry, but this was no ordinary cry. As tears flowed from the Baby Pokemon's eyes, she also began using her Metal Sound attack without being asked to, and it was a very loud and intense sound in every regard. The sound quickly traveled all throughout the Goldenrod Tunnel, assaulting the ears of anyone and everyone who heard it, and shattering every single glass item in the tunnel to pieces in an instant.
Even with all of his years of ninja training, even Venom found this sound to be more than a little grating, as both he and Seviper immediately winced and gritted their teeth. Unfortunately, since Venom was holding Toxel, and Seviper had no arms, neither of them were able to cover their ears. Seviper did her best though, wrapping her tail around her head several times. "Well, this little one certainly seems healthy! Now, how do we make her stop?!" Thankfully, Venom had the answer to that, quickly withdrawing a baby bottle from his bag, and gently popping the tip into Toxel's mouth. The bottle itself was filled with a special formula that all Poison type Pokemon loved and was safe for newly hatched Pokemon to drink, as it slowly but surely calmed Toxel down. "That's right. No need to be upset. Venom's gonna take good care of you, little one." With Toxel enjoying her bottle, Venom continued to smile and keep a good hold on her, as he and Seviper kept on venturing around the tunnels and search for foes to battle.

Maybe drawn by the crying or by the sounds of battle, a curious blob of green floated its way towards Venom to watch him with bland curiosity. "You're so noisy," it observed. "Some of us want to sleep, y'know." It let out a big, looooong yawn. It hadn't been napping before this incident, but it rather wanted to do so right now. "The crying baby probably just wants a nap too. Everyone knows babies needs lots of sleep. Whether you're a weird lizard or a puddle of sludge. Sleep is good. Sleep is the bessssst." Another yawn. It lazily floated there, unobstructive, as it made commentary about Venom's parenting skills. Because apparently, all it could think about was a good night's sleep and how this little battle party was ruining any future plans of catching Z's in silent comfort. Maybe it would go find a nice empty trash can to cozy down in. Help block out the NOISE.

After Toxel's not so little outburst, all the lightbulbs in the tunnel had been destroyed, making things rather dark. And with plenty of trash and other debris still floating around everywhere, Venom and Seviper did have a little trouble negotiating their way through said tunnel. Be that as it may, Venom was extremely careful not to drop the Baby Pokemon, or do anything else that might upset her. Even with all of his time being raised by Pokemon in the wild, parenting was proving to be a real challenge for the ninja, as he found himself wondering what the Nidoqueen that raised him would do in this situation many times. Thankfully, the small Poison type was content for the moment, still sucking on her bottle. If her Metal Sound was this powerful at such a young age, Venom knew that she'd make an amazing Toxtricity when she finally grew up.
But even with the lights out, Venom's highly trained eyes were still able to spot the wild Gulpin long before it approached them. Normally, he would've gone into his Poison type fanboy mode, but he held himself back for Toxel's sake, listening to what the Stomach Pokemon had to say when it got closer. Naturally, the purple-haired trainer knew that Gulpin wasn't wrong and felt bad about disturbing it and all the other wild Pokemon that called this tunnel their home. "Yes, I'm afraid you're right, Gulpin. I'm rather new at this, I'm afraid. Still, that's no excuse. I apologize and I hope you can forgive me." Venom lowered his head as he apologized to the wild Poison type, taking the blame himself, since Toxel was far too young to know any better herself. However, Seviper wasn't nearly as apologetic as her trainer was.
"You really must learn to stop apologizing for every little thing, master. If this Gulpin can't handle a few loud noises, then that's its problem. And it made the mistake of crossing paths with Team Toxic while we're in the middle of some special training. So, instead of apologizing, how about we turn this annoying little lump into more experience?" Her attitude aside, Venom had to admit that Seviper did make some good points, quickly formulating a strategy in his head and grabbing a Pokeball from his bag. "I suppose you're right, Seviper. And I believe I know the perfect Pokemon for the job. Watch closely, Toxel. This is what a Pokemon battle looks like." After gaining Toxel's attention, the Kantonian trainer threw the Pokeball up in the air, and out came Team Toxic's resident scorpion, Skorupi.
"Ah, finally! It feels like forever since my last battle. I can see that you're tired, but please at least try to make it interesting for me, Gulpin. Alright?" It may have been her first battle since making it back to Team Toxic after a brief trip to a nursery, but Skorupi was ready to rumble, smirking and aiming both of her claws and her stinger at the pure Poison type. And just like so many of her fellow poisonous Pokemon, she wasn't at all bothered by all the water in the underground tunnel. "Glad to see you're up for it, Skorupi! Let's start off with Dig! And make it a good one! Our little one is watching!" The ninja gave Skorupi her orders, and Toxel looked on with great intrigue, still chugging her formula though. Wanting to be a good senior for the Poison/Electric type, Skorupi got right to work, digging a tunnel and planning to strike Gulpin as hard as she could from underneath.

The gulpin huffed but seemed pleased with Venom's words, it was not often humans apologized usually they never did, and usually no one showed it any respect either, neither human and pokemon. It wasn't like it cared but that didn't mean it was nice the few times it happened anyway. "Is that why you turned out the light? To hope it will take a nap?" It asked curiously and sent Seviper a tired look when she commented Venom's behavior. "It's only polite to apologize if you disturb others, its my home you have come into and chosen to wreck havoc. Would you not expect an apology for me, at least, if I went and woke you up by loud noises and destroyed things?" It yawned, it really wanted to do something else than chat with these people. Didn't sound like it was getting off the hook though, "alright, just make it quick. I have better things to do than being your punching bag," it said dryly and looked rather bored when Skorupi appeared. "Why would I try make it interesting for you? It's not me who wants to battle, why give you the pleasure`?" it asked dryly and watched her dig underground, it got a strange look on its face and then looked puzzled at them. "Who are you?" It asked before it paused to stare confused at the ground below it. A moment later it flew through the air as Skorupi emerged with a powerful blow. "What did you do that for?!" It shouted at her and sprayed acid all over her, which managed to find all her tender spots, which was probably the only reason it did any damage to her at all. "You should take your baby and let it sleep, so it stops crying all the time, instead of wasting time trying to chase me out of my home!" It argued. Wild Encounter Weather: Tunnel.. "I'm Skorupi. A proud Poison type Pokemon and member of Team Toxic." Skorupi answered Gulpin's question in a tone filled with pride, standing tall on her four little legs after her successful Dig attack. Clearly, she was enjoying her first bout in a while, and Seviper was enjoying the show quite a bit herself. Although, Venom still didn't feel good about doing all of this to a wild Poison type that was just trying to get some peace and quiet. But what could he do? Whitney wasn't the kind of trainer Team Toxic could beat without a serious amount of intense training. And to achieve a level high enough to best her, Team Toxic had to take all the battles they could get. No matter who their opponents were.
However, as skilled as the ninja and his Pokemon were, they were severely lacking in the parenting department. With all the banter from the Stomach Pokemon and the action of the battle, none of them even noticed when Toxel crawled right out of Venom's arms and onto his back. From there, the Baby Pokemon found her way into her trainer's bag, digging through all the new sights it had to offer her curious little mind. Eventually, Toxel came across a Great Ball. An empty Great Ball. A few small giggles escaped her mouth, as the urge to play with the ball took hold of her, as it does for all babies from time to time. After nuzzling the spherical device against her electrically charged cheeks a few times, Toxel threw the ball right over Venom's right shoulder, which did well to finally gain the attention of all the others.
"What the heck?...Toxel, did you...?" Venom questioned in a very perplexed tone of voice, glancing over his shoulder at the Poison/Electric type. Of course, putting aside the fact that his questions were more than a little vague, he didn't actually expect an answer out of her, as Toxel hadn't yet learned how to speak. Instead, Toxel just giggles some more, clapped her tiny hands together a few times, and did a raspberry. Then, before anyone else had the chance to react, the Great Ball that she threw landed right on top of Gulpin's head, pulling the pure Poison type inside in a bright flash of red light. With that, Venom, Skorupi, and Seviper all stood there, silent and dumbfounded by the events they had just witnessed, waiting to see if this unplanned capture would be a success or not. If not, Skorupi would be ready to strike with another Dig attack.
OOC: Great Ball used. And if it doesn't work, Skorupi will use Dig again.

"Skorupi. Team of whatever...I would really like to go take a nap so maybe someone could help quiet that bab—" And then the great ball collided with the top of its head. The green blob seemed to squish down for a moment in alarm before there was a flash of light and it was gobbled up. The ball shook hard a couple of times before falling still, as if the gulpin had decided to just give up on the fight and nap. What was the point in resisting too hard? The ball was cozy and in here, it couldn't hear the baby crying. So perhaps this was a victory of sorts. It got to rest and didn't have to battle that skorupi anymore. Though, the fact that the baby was throwing around pokeballs might be troublesome for her trainer. Perhaps one day she'd catch something that wasn't a poison type! Like a pidgey. Or maybe she'd waste a few on random objects like lunch...or a rock. Catch? 95% YbByIEpU1-100

Venom, Skorupi, and Seviper were dumbfounded. None of them could believe what they had just witnessed, as the Great Ball transported itself to Venom's PC. The only one who showed any real reaction to the whole thing was Toxel, who moved to her trainer's left shoulder and continued to giggle and clap her tiny hands, clearly very amused by the events she had just beheld. Fortunately, even though those sounds came from such a small Pokemon, they were still enough to snap the rest of the members of Team Toxic out of the trance they had found themselves in. "Uhhh...I guess that's it. I won." Skorupi was the first to speak up, though if she was being honest, that wasn't really what she had in mind when she said that she wanted an interesting battle.
"It also appears as though Team Toxic has a new recruit, albeit a rather tired and lazy one. Do tell us, master, what do you plan to do with that Gulpin?" Having regained her composure, Seviper was the next one to voice her thoughts and opinions, turning to face her venomous trainer as she waited for his answer. After giving it several minutes of thought, the ninja began to smile, reaching up and giving Toxel a few gentle head pats, as well as a kiss on the cheek, causing her to giggle even more. "Well, the way I see it, it never hurts to have some new venom around. Plus, I've recently heard about some new information that could potentially make Gulpin a far more valuable Poison type, and Pokemon in general." It was finally Venom's turn to speak after that, and the last thing he said quickly gained the attention of both the snake and the scorpion, as they both looked at him with intrigue, wondering what he was talking about.
"In the far-off region of Paldea, some new evolutions have been discovered for Pokemon from other regions. Such as Applin and Duraludon. Of course, neither of them are Poison types, but all the new evolution data hasn't yet been released to the public. So, who knows who's next? For all we know, Gulpin's evolved form, Swalot, could gain an evolution and become one of the strongest Poison type Pokemon this world has ever seen. Or maybe one of you could gain a new evolution yourselves." Venom spoke with a hint of excitement in his voice, eagerly awaiting the possible discovery of new evolved forms for some of the Poison type Pokemon he loved so much. Of course, even if they didn't end up getting any, he'd still love them just as much regardless. But like the saying goes, we all have room to improve.
Upon hearing all of this, both Skorupi and Seviper let out some simultaneous gasps, containing a mixture of shock and intrigue. Naturally, Skorupi already really wanted to evolve into Drapion, but the thought of getting to evolve a second time into something even more powerful wasn't a bad thought either. Not at all. And as for Seviper, well, she didn't have an evolved form at all. So, she had never really given it much thought before now, but if she were so fortunate to obtain such a gift from Mother Nature herself, she'd welcome her new form and power into the world with open arms. Not that she had any arms, but that was beside the point. The only downside that Seviper could think of to her gaining an evolution was that if her kind got one, then it was all too likely that her kind's mortal enemies, the Cat Ferret Pokemon, Zangoose, would get one of their own.
It was at that point that Venom decided to give his Pokemon some time alone with their thoughts, recalling Skorupi, Seviper, and Toxel back to their respective Pokeballs. He loved having the Baby Pokemon out and about, but he couldn't have her wasting anymore of his supplies. "Oh well. Should Mother Nature see fit to bestow new power onto existing Poison types, then we'll be ready to receive it." The purple-haired trainer said to himself, continuing to smile and hope that at least one of his cherished poisonous Pokemon will end up receiving such a gift. But before moving on to search for Team Toxic's next opponent, Venom looked down and noticed that all the water had finally been drained out of the underground tunnel, looking to be the result of Skorupi's Dig attack. So, with his feet no longer making a splashing sound with every step he took, Venom continued to venture through the Goldenrod Tunnel, gaining yet another reason to make Team Toxic as strong as they can be.
OOC: Just leave Gulpin's stats blank and transfer it to Venom's PC for now. Thanks.

With Gulpin caught and tucked away in boxes to be dealt with later (maybe given the assignment of babysitter if need be), Venom was once more without an opponent. He just had a rather befuddled team and a baby that caught a fellow pokemon by throwing a ball. It was rather funny if one took a step back and just looked at the absolute ridiculousness of it all. But when Venom got back to walking around, he would hear some sparks and bangs, sounding almost like static paired with a car backfiring. It was an absolutely atrocious amount of noise. The closer he got, the more obnoxious the noises got. And there, causing the ruckus for fun? Was a voltorb. Oblivious was this round orb to the ear-bleeding awfulness of its activities, as this tone-deaf voltorb had a dream. The biggest of dreams. To join one of those rock-and-roll bands! It heard trainers blaring their music down here and knew that if it tried hard enough, it could emulate the noise and be one of the best. So it focused reaaallly hard...sparked up...and BOOM! A tiny little explosion. Just like the music! Oh, oh...and if it rolled into the wall, it could make a clang...and— LV 24 Voltorb wants to rock and roll

With the time he had searching for new opponents, Venom would often find himself thinking about the future of his journey through Johto. But this time was different. Instead of thinking about the future, the ninja chose to live for the moment for once, pulling out his phone and sticking the earbuds attached to it into his ears. Most people probably wouldn't have guessed this about Venom, but he was actually quite a big fan of rock and roll music himself. Particularly the musical stylings of Roxie, the Poison type gym leader and rock star of the Unova region. After picking out a song, Venom smiled contently and started headbanging as he walked through the underground tunnel, looking to really be enjoying the sounds that filled his ears.
But then, as he turned around a corner, the sounds of music were suddenly replaced by the sounds of static, causing the purple-haired trainer to lose his smile in favor of a more puzzled facial expression. "What the heck? I hope my phone didn't get wet." Growing concerned, Venom removed his earbuds and hoped that the rain and flood waters didn't ruin his phone. Thankfully, the handheld device was just fine, but that still left Venom wondering about the static that assaulted his ears. The answer to that question came a few seconds later, as the sounds of electricity, smashing, and a small explosion reached Venom's ears from somewhere close by. Deciding to investigate, the Poison type trainer ran towards the loud noises as fast as his legs could carry him.
It only took a few more seconds for Venom to arrive on the scene, a bit surprised by what he found when he did. Able to understand Pokemon speech, the Kantonian trainer discovered that he wasn't the only rock and roll music fan underneath Goldenrod City. Still, he couldn't help but raise one eyebrow at the wild Voltorb, thinking that perhaps this Electric type had gotten the wrong idea about rock music. Just a bit. Although Venom wasn't too keen on the idea of possibly crushing a wild Pokemon's dreams, he knew that this noise and destruction couldn't be allowed to continue. So, after waiting patiently for even the smallest break in Voltorb's one Pokemon performance, Venom immediately raised his voice and gained the attention of the Ball Pokemon. "Hey, Voltorb! I don't mean to interrupt, but you might wanna tone it down! You'd be great at making special effects during a rock concert, but I think you should leave the actual music to the professionals! Mainly beings with limbs! No offense!"
The ninja tried to break it to Voltorb as gently as he could, but figured the round Pokemon would likely still be fairly ticked off by his words, which is why he had a Pokeball in his hand and ready for battle. "Believe me, I know how much the truth can hurt! Although, I'm pretty sure a poisonous stinger hurts even more! So, if you wanna fight, then have a go at Skorupi!" With one good toss, the Scorpion Pokemon was back outside her Pokeball for more, both surprised and thrilled to be battling again so soon. "Me?! Again?! Really?! Heck yeah! Let's do this, master! Toxel is a real cutie pie, but I'd rather she didn't interrupt this battle!" Grinning claw to claw, Skorupi aimed her stinger right at Voltorb and steadied herself for what would hopefully be a better battle than the last one she had against Team Toxic's new Gulpin.
However, before giving Skorupi her first set of orders, Venom got an idea, as well as a grin of his own. Now that Voltorb's attention was on the poisonous pair, the static had stopped, giving Venom the freedom to play his music again. So, after unplugging the earbuds from his phone, he played another song by the Poison type rock star, Roxie, adding some atmosphere to the battle that was about to unfold. "Oh yeah! That's more like it! Let's start things off with your Dig attack, Skorupi!" Venom resumed headbanging after giving Skorupi her orders, and the Poison/Bug type seemed to be enjoying the music herself. "We should do this more often, master! I love this song!" With the music getting her even more pumped up for battle, Skorupi quickly burrowed her way underground, continuing to enjoy the beats as she waited for the perfect opportunity to strike.

Rock-and-Roll-torb sparked up a bit in surprise upon being spoken to by a human. Was Venom impressed by its musical genius!? The Voltorb wobbled a bit, excited at first, but... No... Venom wasn't telling it that its music was awesome. Even with the comforting suggesting it do special effects at rock concerts, it still felt...disappointed. Upset. So upset it could just explode!!! "I'm going to be the best rock-and-roll music maker ever!" declared the voltorb. Its ire was evident and Venom was right to send out a pokemon between them. The voltorb sparked up and then rolled incredibly fast at the scorpion. Before it could even try to tunnel down, it slammed into Skorupi and started to loop around behind Venom to make another pass. However, before it could reach it, the scorpion dug down. The voltorb was set on clobbering that skorupi when it realized something. "That...music...I know that music." It wobbled again to look up at Venom. That was the kind of music it wanted to make! It instinctively began to rock with the familiar beats, glowing a bit as it made sparks appear in time with the downbeat. Clearly this pokemon had a good sense of rhythm. Too bad for it that it didn't have limbs. Or a mouth. Or ears. "One day...I'll make music just like that," it said to itself, distracted from the fight. Which was unfortunate, because Skorupi took advantage and dug up underneath it, slamming into the bottom of the voltorb and knocking it back. ooc// Venom rocking out with the voltorb is adorbs Wild Encounter Weather: Clear [attr="class","qkt-bkgd"] [attr="class","qkt-wild-pkmn"] Voltorb LV 24 HP 33% [20/60]
