It hadn't in fact been a good day for Silver at all. Why? Well... long story short, the world just hated him. Something he had actually wanted to capture, and his Cyndaquil managed to just about kill it, then let it flee before he had the chance to use a Pokeball. Cyndaquil walked cautiously behind Silver, making sure he stayed far away from his boot in case he decided he wanted to kick him...again. His name was Sans, a name Silver gave him because apparently, he had known someone named Sans who had been just as weak as he was. As much as his strange love for Silver sufficed, sometimes he wished that Sans person would have been his trainer instead of him, maybe they were nicer...actually, scratch that, they probably were. "...You just can't so anything right can you?" Sans had just tuned back into his trainer's ranting when he spotted a Dustox up ahead. From its scent, it wasn't wild, but it was a good chance to prove to Silver that he wasn't weak. So, he ran forwards and spit Embers from his maw. The Dustox managed to move in time, which seemed to make Silver more annoyed with his fire rat. "Worthless. But, I could use a battle." He glanced at the man that was standing just under the Dustox's flight path, and frowned. "You. Battle me, if you're truly a trainer." it wasn't even asking, it was much, much more of a command than anything else. _____________________________________________________ Warning! As soon as he returned his dustox and grabbed his pokeball midair, he was not expected to a pokemon battle with another trainer. The last time he did that, the boy with the rattata was quite annoying... And this dude right here behind him have an air of darkness. He does not want a battle here, right where the furry pokemon just fainted, so he positioned himself as he readied to lead the trainer away from the scene.
"Follow me," he began picking up his feet, "I don't want to fight here, where that pokemon just fainted--" he pointed to the sentret, "-- instead, let us fight here where that pokemon won't be caught in the cross fire." Then, he ran a few paces away from the earlier battle scene, standing to wait for the opponent to catch up as he decide what was strange about this boy and what pokemon to start with.
First, he obviously have a cyndaquil, he saw the mouse with his eyes. Secondly, his tone and word usage was a bit rude. He did not ask kindly, and that boy was condescending his battle ability by saying "if you're truly a trainer" What do you mean "if"? What do you mean "truly"? How RUDE!
But then, he remembered stories of how some patients in hospitals can be rude and mean and nasty. He would have to deal with them one day, so why not try dealing with him professionally?
Now, to battle pseudo-professionally and strategically, he would have to have some tactics... He turned his neck downward as he reached his pockets, and grabbed a few pokeballs for selection.
After he made his selection, he threw a pokeball in the air, shouting, "Alright, Saurobix, use Leech Seed!"

"Che, such weak sentiment," Silver murmured, following the trainer a few paces away. "Why should I care about that weak Pokemon? If it was weak enough to lose, it doesn't deserve to live." Crossing his arms over his chest, he glared at Sans, ordering, "You. Tackle that weakling's Pokemon."
Sans was more than happy to oblige. He wanted to prove his strength to Silver, after all. Darting forward, he was surprised to discover that his opponent was not the Dustox from before, but a Bulbasaur. But it didn't matter. With a bounding leap, Sans slammed into Saurobix, knocking the creature back a few steps. Bouncing happily, Sans spun around to face Silver, a look of pure glee on his face. He had done well, right? He was strong. Look how strong he was! But Silver's face had the same, annoyed look on it. The Cyndaquil's face fell as he realized that his trainer wasn't impressed. As he had been sitting there, not paying attention, Saurobix had been given more than enough time to prepare his attack. He shot a few seeds in Sans's direction, ensnaring the fire mouse in the plant's tendrils. Yelping, the Cyndaquil tried to escape, even going so far as to light the fire on his back, but the tendrils held him tight. A green light shot from the seeds back to Saurobix, and Sans was surprised to feel his own energy drop. So it was absorbing his energy... He had to escape. He had to win, or Silver would be even angrier with him.

Now that the trainer moved along with him and away from that furry pokemon, he prepared himself for another pokemon battle. This time, unlike that kid yesterday, this trainer seemed tacit. That fact does not bother him though, because he was quite an antisocial himself. Now, there's one thing in mind for him, to finish this battle efficiently and effectively and then find another wurmple... Which at this time of day, he probably should go get lunch then come back....
Stop.
Thinking.
Food.
He reminded himself to focus on the battle. How can you be a doctor if you cannot think clearly and concentrate?
Now, if he needed to get out of this battle as quickly as possible, the quickest way would be to finish the opponent as quick as possible...
"Saurobix, Tackle!" he commanded his pokemon proudly.
His mind paused for a second, as if trying to remember something the opponent trainer had said... Was it an insult? He's too focus for that now.
Saurobix looked directly at the cyndaquil, focusing on it and nothing else, and prepared for a tackle...

"Wait, you're just gonna take that?" Silver blinked, surprised by how quiet this trainer was. "I insulted you. You're supposed to be mad, and lecture me. Or something like that." Not that Silver was complaining. He hated dealing with the sniveling wimps who went on and on about how the power of friendship can overcome any obstacle. Perhaps this trainer was sensible, like him. His tactics were interesting, and aside from the slip around the fallen Sentret, he hadn't said anything to defend friendship or morality.
But maybe it was a trap. Maybe this kid was trying to lull him into a false sense of security. And once his walls were down, then he would strike hard and fast, crushing all of Silver's hopes and dreams.
No, no, that was far too ridiculous a notion for such an innocent looking kid. Maybe the guy was just anti-social, or something. Shaking his head, Silver waved a hand at Cyndaquil, ordering, "Do whatever you want. Just be sure to win."
Sans, who wasn't very knowledgeable in the ways of battle, took this to mean, "Tackle it again". Charging forward, he slammed hard against the Bulbasaur, trying to put as much force behind the attack as he could. But it was the same result as before. Saurobix only staggered back slightly, still keeping his footing and looking prepared to retaliate. The dinosaur-like creature also sprinted forward, lowering his head as he charged straight at Sans. Once he made contact, the Bulbasaur threw his head up, effectively launching the Cyndaquil. Sans squealed as he tumbled through the air, landing hard on his back. Huffing out a flaming breath, he staggered back to his feet, only to collapse again as the Leech Seed took its toll. Gasping for air, Sans squinted at Saurobix, wondering just how it was that this runty creature was so much stronger than him.

"Excuse me," he began after the earlier round, "Saurobix, use tackle again!" So that you can faint that pokemon faster and I can run to pokemon center for lunch and come back to catch a wurmple and then train it to a silcoon and again to a beautifly and i can get out of here...
Unlike his usual self, his hungry mind was wandering quickly and losing patience and starving and unmotivated to think clearly and tactfully and... food.
Then, he actually remember the opponent's words this time, he replied, "Don't you worry, in the future I would have to interact with many times of people," he shrugged, "your type of people included, and I don't mean the punk hair color."
"People with your attitudes," he retorted.
Then, as if remembering something he read from a medical mystery fiction book, he vaguely said, "Do whatever you want, just be sure to be responsible for it."

"You think I have an attitude?" Silver growled, growing annoyed with this boy. Scowling darkly, he crossed his arms over his chest, and scoffed. "I'm just being realistic. You're the one with an attitude, going around and acting like you're better than everyone." Silver didn't realize the irony in his statement, partially due to his anger at his Pokemon's incompetence. Casting a glance at Sans, he was forced to acknowledge how badly his Pokemon was doing. "Get your act together," he growled. "You're a weakling, so this strategy will work. Use a Smokescreen and hide like the coward you are."
Whining slightly, Sans lowered his head in shame. Stepping forward, the Cyndaquil puffed up his cheeks before spewing a dark cloud of smoke. The smoke spread, thick and black, suffocating anything inside it. Saurobix stepped back, wary of the dark smoke. He couldn't see anything, which could end up slowing this battle down. But rather than relying only on sight, the Bulbasaur calmly closed his eyes, listening intently for any sounds that the Sans would make. A rustle from his right alerted him to Sans's location. Turning, the Bulbasaur charged forward, slamming blindly into the Cyndaquil. Squealing, Sans rolled backward, only to have more damage inflicted by the Leech Seed. Wheezing, the Cyndaquil stood back up, stubbornly refusing to give up. Even if Silver hated him, he would try his hardest to prove himself to the surly trainer.

Well, he thought to himself. This smoke screen is going to make the battle tricky, perhaps the opponent is trying to stall? Or was he just putting some smoke screen to make battling longer?... He felt a sudden contraction of his internal muscle. Ugh, he knew that he needed to eat. He placed one hand on where the pain seemed to come from and a rush of hungry thoughts came to him.
"Saurobix, Tack-- no, Vine Whip!" he commanded, hopefully to end this battle, then he returned to retaliate the other battle, not pokemon battle but human battle.
"If you're realistic," he sharply spoke, "you would better yourself so that you wouldn't need to be lectured by people, or get people mad. If you keep doing this way, some day it might bite you in the back. "
Saurobix whipped out his vines, readying to whip randomly into the smoke.
Then, he tried to remember what he said to add points to his arguments, "It's only a weak pokemon if you don't train it or it is inexperienced. Not to mention, if you have your attitude thinking that it is weak, it might also thinks it is weak, and carry that mindset into action, then the repetition becomes a habit." He smiled, wincing in hunger pain, "that also says something about the trainer."
Then, the plant pokemon harshly slapped to the smoke, just as it was clearing because of the gases lowering the density. He watched and hoped that the battle is over with...

Cynaquil was on its last legs, that was easy to see. Though Silver seemed not to understand this, and instead, he decided he wanted to insist on his goals, but this was what he always did. Cyndaquil turned and blinked at Silver, and he could easily see the fire in his eyes. "I won't change my ways because my ways are what gets me through! I have never gotten anywhere with kindness to Pokemon and all that crap, and I won't start!" He insisted, looking down at his Cyndaquil in frustration. Somehow, looking at Cyndaquil calmed Silver, just a bit. He didn't know why. It was so worthless. But somehow, as worthless as he was, he was the only one who never questioned a thing Silver did. Saurobix decided to finish this, fast. He lashed his vines out to strike Cyndaquil across his side, and if that didn't finish him off, then the vines that were sapping his energy did. Silver sent a worldess glare at Alex before grabbing the Cyndaquil by his scruff and throwing an Envelope at Alex. He'd meet him again, and of when he did.... ______________________________________________________ Saurobix is the Victor!~! Silver was defeated! You got £300 for winning!

OOC: forget growl for sleep powder I just realize Silver and I never exchanged names XD
IC: Before he could answer, the strange battler was out of the way. Alex looked at the ground as an envelope laid on the ground and the battler was running away as he grabbed his flaming mouse pokemon. Saurobix quickly used his vines to grab the spoil and handed it to his trainer. Then, as if showing off, he leaped a few steps away and released a certain powder, and quickly leaped away from it.
Alex watched as his hands opened up the sealed envelope. Inside, he found his prize money. He was happy that he had won his second trainer battle and his bulbasaur learning a new move. This had to be either sleep powder or poison powder or stun spore, but he would have to go check that out in the pokemon center computers. That mention of pokemon center reminded him that he was hungry. He hurriedly stuffed the money, congratulated his pokemon, returned Saurobix, and ran to Cherrygrove pokemon center to eat...
After filling up his energy, he returned to the route between Cherrygrove and New Bark Town again, looking for a wurmple. This time though, he decided to be strategic.
"Come out, Tackzill and Scarout!" he shouted as he tossed his pokeballs in the air as he proceeded forward.
Tackzill happily flew next to him, while Scarout the spearow flew a few steps ahead of him, occasionally turning his head as the trio walked.
"Alright, I want you two to help me find a wurmple!" he said.
Then, Scarout immediately flew up in the sky, hoping to find something in his eyes while keeping in pace. Tackzill, on the other hand, flapped her dusty wings a little away from the trainer, and stayed close to the trees, hoping to sniff a familiar scent of wurmple.
Alex thought to himself that he needed to find a wurmple and get out of here.. hopefully not finding pokemons that are not his interests or trainers... First was an annoying youngster, then a rude and mean teenager. What happened to manners nowadays?
OOC again: I know it's not page 5 yet, lol. even though like, I haven't even seen a wild rattata or pidgey or fight the other youngster or bug catcher, lol. *rubs RNG for wurmple

With Sans and Silver out of the picture, it would be so much easier for Tackzill and Scarout to look around the route. Tackzill looked sort of nervous though, As he and Scarout split up in search of another worm, its pre-evolved form. Was it really...well, smart to send a bird out to look for a bug Pokemon? Knowing Scarout, he was probably looking for lunch. Of course, with the way he had tried to eat the bug, Tackzill wouldn't have trusted him as far as he could throw him, and without arms, he couldn't throw him very far anyway. With a flap of his strong Olive wings, Tackzill scanned the ground for any sign of a smaller version of his kin. It seemed his fears about Scarout had dissolved , until of course, his hearing picked up the most unpleasant sound. There was a scuffling and Scarout's loud cry, and Tackzill spotted him up ahead. He seemed to be chasing after something, sweeping down as if to try and grab it., Tackzill knew instantly he had found one, but he hadn't been intending to report it to Alex. With quick thinking, Tackzill rammed his body into Scarout's, knocking him away from the Wurmple. With a loud cry, he quickly called Alex to the scene. The terrified young Wurmple however, was frozen in fear from Scarouts attack on it, so at least Tackzill didn't need to worry about it going anywhere. Though, this Wurmple wasn't ordinary either, it cowered in a tiny purple ball on the grass. Tackzill had to think about it for a while. They had a name for this mutation, but he wasn't sure, it was some kind of human thing. _____________________________________________________ Warning! A young *Wurmple* (Level 3) has been temporarily spared from being Scarout's Lunch!

OOC: ooh, kat, btw, i think you remembered that the spearow tried to eat the same wurmple/cascoon/dustox in the same thread. i just realize now why the spearow wants to eat the wurmple lol..
IC: As soon as Tackzill cried, Alex picked up his speed and ran to the scene. He watched as the purple wurmple taking cover as his two pokemon push and pulled on whether or not to attack the pokemon, and who would attack this squishy bug.
He was surprised that he finally find a wurmple, and he made not to use his aerial pokemon for more hunting purposes. On a side note though, the wurmple finally appeared after a sentret, a hoothoot, and a spearow. What some strange encounters! His leg winced a little as he somewhat remembered being hit by the rolling fur ball pokemon.
Seeing that this pokemon was kind of weak, and that most of his pokemon were kind of strong, he debated if he should battle this pokemon. First, his torchic demonstrated a strange move called Night Slash. Then, his bulbasaur learned sleep powder and vine whip. Then, his first wurmple evolved into a dustox. And lastly, he caught a spearow that he haven't fought with yet, but it proved to be a great battler with trainer battles he had the other day.
He paused to think, would fighting this little thing be too rude? He likes bug pokemon, and could not wait to collect more, and then use some of their cells or chemicals for biochemistry purposes, some day. While thinking this, he also thought about how he actually enjoyed this traveling, and might be changing into some sort of rescue unit or something....
"Toooox!--Rrrrooow!--" his two pokemon pushed around each other in the air, reminding him to stop thinking.
Ok, back to this wurmple... What to do? Fight or not?
He reached into his pocket and grabbed a pokeball with one hand, while gesturing a handshake or something with his other hand. Of course, humans can't handshake a worm.
Then, he asked the wurmple kindly, "Instead of battling, would you like to join us? I can help you to become a beautifly." He also implied that because he has a dustox, he wouldn't need another one. Well, if simple pokemon could understand that...
"So, want to come?"
OOC: decided to take a different idea because I am sure most of my poke can one or two hit it anyways lol.

What Alex hadn't realized, was that Scarout had terrified the Wurmple beyond thinking. Its big eyes were wild as it tried to decide what it should do, and where it should go. Run, stay, fight? Everything was so confusing to it. It shuddered and used its head to knock the Pokeball from Alex's hand, managing not to touch the button. The Pokeball hit the ground with a small thud and opened up, revealing the mechanical inside, but it just sat there on the floor, unable to preform its usual job. The purple creature made a threatening sound that all Wurmples used in a time of panic, warning Alex not to come any closer. Maybe if it had been in the right mindset enough to hear Alex, it would have went easily, but it seemed that they'd have to do things the hard way. Tackzill could easily blame Scarout for scaring the small creature so badly, and she felt badly for it. After all, she had been in the same situation, but when Scarout attacked her, she hadn't had any legs. ____________________________________________________ Warning!
Wurmple seems to terrified to hear you out! Looks like you'll need to battle to calm it down!

Upon seeing the wurmple knocking over his pokeball lightly, and watching it opened casually on the grass, Alex picked up the pokeball and took a few steps back. Looks like the pokemon wanted a battle, he thought.
"So you wanted a battle," he said, "we'll just have a short battle." Short because I will catch you anyways, he thought.
As he took a few steps back, his dustox and spearow followed, seeing that the trainer was watching them of their action, and a battle beginning. Scarout flew up to a tree and watched, keeping distance with his trainer, as usual. Tackzill, instead, flew above Alex's head, watching in close distance.
Then, he ordered an attack, "Tackzill, Confusion!"
Tackzill flew a short glide forward, and his eyes glowed a strange pink light as she prepared to attack weaken the wurmple and convince it to join the team....

Tackzill nodded, apologizing silently to his Wurmple brother as he moved forward to attack. His eyes began to glow a light blue, and as the glow intensified, a similar shade of blue encased the Wurmple. The tiny purple worm yelped as it was lifted off the the ground. Feet flailing, the Wurmple tried to break free of Tackzill's Confusion, but to no avail. The Dustox manipulated the psychic attack, slamming the Wurmple viciously into the ground.
The purple worm cried out softly, trying to work up the energy to attack. Not only was it terrified, but it was seriously hurt. But something motivated the tiny worm to stand back up and face the Dustox. Huffing out a shaky breath, the Wurmple darted forward, slamming into Tackzill with as much force as he could muster. The Dustox staggered backward, flapping his wings to keep balance. The attack hardly did any damage, though, and the young Wurmple began to despair.
