OOC: lmao, not sure about the color confusion is supposed to glow, but i think i wrote it as pink then you decided light blue.. XD this is minute detail. I probably should look up anime for glowing light references lol
IC: Alex observed the battle and felt terrible for knocking the wurmple to limping state. However, that wurmple did asked for a battle by denying his invitation. With the pokeball on his hand, he was ready to capture this weakened wurmple.
He bounced an empty pokeball on his hand, preparing himself. Then, he ordered his dustox to back off a little, and tossed the pokeball toward the wurmple. He let out a shout of something nonsense and watched intensely as the ball go up then down the air.
"Rrrrroooo-" Scarout cooed as the he hurled the balled, as if commenting on the scene.

The Wurmple cowered where it stood, afraid of what the trainer had planned. It really didn't want to get hurt anymore. All the Wurmple wanted was to hide. But with that Spearow staring hungrily at it, it knew that running was out of the question. That thing would eat it in a heartbeat.
Luckily (or so it thought), the trainer wasn't planning on continuing the battle. He called the Dustox off, and procured a strange round red-and-white orb. The young Wurmple didn't know what it was, but it was glad that it wasn't another attack. Much to the tiny worm's surprise, the boy threw the ball at it. It tried to shy away, but fatigue prevented it from escaping the ball. With a solid thunk, the ball smacked against the Wurmple's head, cracking open to absorb the tiny purple worm. Struggle as it might, the Wurmple felt fatigue pulling heavily on its limbs, keeping it from breaking free of the ball.
A flash of light engulfs the Pokemon, sucking it inside the blue and white orb. Snapping shut, the Pokeball falls to the ground. Alex waits in anticipation as the Pokeball rocks on the ground, the wild Pokemon struggling to escape. ... The Pokeball twitches once... ... Twice... ... A third, violent shudder rocks the ball before... A red light flashes on the middle button and the ball is still! Congratulations!Wurmple joined the party has been captured! Wurmple's data was added to the Pokedex. Give a nickname to the captured Wurmple? Shiny WurmpleName: Casilk Gender: Male Level: 3 Attacks: Tackle, String Shot Ability: Shield Dust Nature/Personality: Quiet A quiet wurmple, Casilk does not like to speak much. Instead, he likes to communicate by wiggling his feet and blinking eyes. BTW, can someone go edit my bulbasaur to level 13 and replace growl with sleep powder IC: As soon as the pokeball stopped wiggling and indicating that Alex successfully caught the wurmple, simultaneously, Scarout twitted and he moved forward to grab the pokeball. Holding the pokeball firmly in his hand, he was happy that he had finally caught a wurmple for beautifly. Tackzill fluttered closely behind him, knowing that the wurmple was safe. Now that he caught the wurmple, he needed to do something else, such as training him to a beautifly. With the daylight still glowing, he covered his eyes with his hand and looked around for a wild pokemon or trainer for his ambitious deed. "Alright, you two help me look for something to fight this time," he ordered, hopefully his two pokemon could look for something to fight. Scarout shot a glare at him, as if hinting that he wanted to fight. Seeing the glare, he thought about balancing out the battling for the next one. Although he knew that his torchic would not mind. However, his bulbasaur and spearow seemed to have a battler personality. Yet he was conflicted by the need to train his wurmple... OOC: if possible, a level 3 or 4 something to fight, lol. but then a high level could also work for spearow... Bug Catcher Don with weedle and caterpie also works. which i have to ask, why has he not catch a wurmple after the move? XD

It was clear that they would not have to look too far, for Scarout wasn't the only one that had lost a perfectly good lunch in the area. Rattata was a scavenger, of some sorts. They basically took whatever they could find, and they only sometimes went out of their way to capture their own food. There was also a good reason that they didn't. Two days. Two whole days, it had been after that Wurmple. The tasty morsel had been of the most unusual color, and it would have made the prized snack of the pack if it had brought it back. but no. Of course, trainers had to ruin everything once again. This was just not acceptable. The snack it had been tracking for so long was in that Pokeball. Could it have capruted the Wurmple much sooner? Well, probably, but it had gotten...er...distracted during the chase, and lost sight of the creature a couple of times, but its unusual color had made it easy for it to find again. Not a problem at all, not a problem at all! It would scare this trainer, and get its snack back! The rat flung itself into the open and chattered threateningly, taking a step towards Alex. _____________________________________________________ Warning! Angry Wild Rattata (Level 4) is angry! It looks like it wants a fight!

A rattata appeared! Great! he thought, now he can train his wurmple, then his spearow.
"Let's get the wurmple to beautifly first," Alex said, looking at his spearow. His spearow, lonely by nature, just scoffed and looked away while the battle commerce.
"You'll fight first thing in route 30," he spoke, hoping he could keep his promise.
"Come out, Casilk, Tackle!" he tossed a pokeball and ordered. His intention was fairly simple, since the wurmple only knows elementary basic moves. Why not just carry on the battle?

The Rattata flicked his ears at the Spearow. How pathetic was that? Pouting just because it wasn't chosen for a battle? Well, obviously if he had been wild, he wouldn't be having such a dilemma like that. But, the weak got caught, and the strong survived it supposed. A light flashed in the corner of its eye, and it caught sight of the prey it had been after! Finally it was there in front of it! The Rattata rushed towards Casilk, ready to tackle right into it and dig in, but then it realized this was a battle. To be civilized, it would need to wait until after the worm had been defeated. So instead of chowing down, it simply rammed into the Wurmple and retreated, daring it to come closer. Casilk took the challenge, unaware that this had been the same creature that had been sending chills down the Wurmple's spine for two days. He rolled right into it, slamming into it and pushing it away, not catching the hungry look in its eyes as he rolled back to Alex's side. ______________________________________________________ Hey, Hey, it's Wurmple VS. Seeing that both pokemon directly tackled each other, Alex felt that this battle could be a quick fight between the two. Not to mention, he have potions to heal his wurmple if this rodent decides to get rough and ratty. In addition, he has a very strange urge to get this wurmple flying. He noted how he was like some strict parents he met when he was a kid to a Sinnoh friend's house.... Strict, serious, and no fun.
Except he's quite enjoying the training process right now.
"Casilk, tackle again!" he insisted. "I've got pots to medic you if you need it!" That phrase he also learned from medical dramas.
Or do doctors actually use that phrase? Where have he heard of this? This doesn't matter. Wurmple was more important. Then, he decided to return his spearow and dustox just because he feels that they should have some rest from the flying and searching earlier. He pulled out two pokeballs and returned them.
Now, the battle was only Alex, Casilk, and the purple rodent. The purple rodent that reminds him of the youngster.... Twinkle or Twinkie or Tickle or Wrinkle

As Alex fell into a deep thought about the Rattata the Youngster he had once battled was called, the current one in front of him was almost beginning to drool. The soft, squishy texture of the shiny bug crashing into it just reminded the rodent why it was chasing this succulent little bug for so long in the first place. Just a little bit more power and it would easily win and regain the right to eat away as it's little, glittering snack. Leaving the sharp, venomous horns behind, of course. Nattering it's teeth energetically, the purple rodent decided to work down the Wurmple's defense that little bit more. The softer, the better and easier to digest. Jumping around on it's cream coloured claws, the wild rat began shaking it's behind from left to right, the silence Wurmple not all that fussed to begin with until his eyes were finally caught up in the attack.
Watching the prim curl wiggle from left to right like a metronome, the quiet bug seemed to flinch his eyes, almost feeling a little scared or hesitant to tackle such a delicate looking creature. With it's face pointing the opposite direction, all the Rattata could do was snicker quietly. It's plan seemed to have worked. Slowly turning back around, it figured it had warned off Casilk enough to make him not want to attack at all. But the rodent was wrong. After taking a quick glance up towards Alex, the shiny bug wiggled it's feet and began to charge head first once again for another tackle. Frowning it's eyes and narrowing it's head, the bug crashed right into the side of the purple rodent, who almost fell over but was quick enough to stagger back up onto all four paws.

Seeing that the rattata had used tail whip, thus lowering Casilk's defense, Alex regretted not having a better strategy. Now, if his wurmple attacks, he might get hit and faint, which would be the opposite goal of what Alex wanted to do. He made a note for the next battle to be more careful.
"Return, Casilk," he held out a pokeball. Of course, he was not going to risk making this battle useless.
"Alright, Scarout, finish this rattata with a peck!" he tossed out another pokeball, and the avian pokemon began targeting the rodent with his beak.
Alex noted to himself, perhaps he should let a stronger pokemon knock some life out of the opponent, then hit them with the wurmple.

As soon as Scarout had entered the fray, the Rattata went colliding forward with a full force tackle and sent the rugged bird backwards. Thankfully, Scarout had gripped onto the flaw with his sharp talons and as soon as the purple rodent ran out of steam, the bird looked up with a glint in his eye. The order to attack was all the avian needed. With the rat still beneath its body having lost balance and tumbled over thanks to the tackle, the bird lifted up a powerful foot and stamped down on top of it, securing it into place. With a lift up of its body, the Spearow moved its head backwards before striking down viciously at the Rattata's head causing some serious injury. The peck had greatly damaged the opponent and caused it to fall unconscious from the blow. Kicking the rat away from under its feet, it had been a clean victory. Wild Battle

Eventually stirring as the dust from the battle settled after a fairly exhaustive battle of might, the fainted unconscious Rattata seemed to stir from where it had been slung off to. Shaking its head as if trying to dispel the pain, the Rattata twiddled its little jaws and looked up at Alex longingly. It had just been demonstrated how good a trainer he was and perhaps under his tutelage could become just as strong as the Pokemon he had faced off again. The defeated Pokemon looks to you pleadingly. OOC: mind if i request bug catcher don? if no, let's try sentret again, lol. level 3-4 is fine. if still no, no bird pokemon lol. wurmple can't take peck.
Scarout huffed, noting that the battle wasn't the exciting, and he probably would have more fun in route 30, whatever that is. The spearow voluntarily returned to his pokeball in a flash, and disappeared.
The rattata, after the battle, looked at Alex eagerly to join. However, despite his wish to have the new member, he sincerely told the rat no, and told it to be optimistic and look for new trainers. Ales waved goodbye to the pokemon and began walking away the opposite direction.
As if knowing that the battle is over, Tackzill poped out of her pokemon again, for the uncounted time. This time, she flew steadily at pace with Alex. The two proceeded moving, looking for another encounter.

OOC: Um Tiki...I'm going to have to ask you not to ask for levels...those are random and as far as I've seen, no one else has ever really asked as far as levels. The most I can give you is that wild request you asked for... --------------------------------------------- At a loss, Sentret wandered across the route. It couldn't figure out where it had placed its stash of berries. She had covered them up and left them safe and sound in a deep burrow not to long ago..but now it couldn't quite remember where that burrow was. It had been searching for what may have been a good two hours now. Then again, maybe it had always just been this scatter-brained. Glancing around, it didn't seem to realize it had been standing on its burrow the whole time, and didn't bother to look down as it hopped off the mound of dirt, defeated and berry-less. Now what would it do? Its stomach was growling, and it needed food now! It glanced around again, standing on its tail to get a better look at the environment around it. Spotting Alex, it knew what that meant. Most trainer's had food, and hopefully this one would be no exception! it flew off its tail and onto its paws, rushing right for Alex and staring up at him intently when it finally reached him. Surely, this trainer would take pity on a poor Pokemon with nothing to eat. Right?....Right?..Hello? ____________________________________________________ Warning! Wild Sentret (Level 4) is looking for food! Oblige it, or punch it in the face?

OOC: So I guess, the last sentret was directionally challenged and this one has short term memory? lol Also testing my new posting layout... IC: Another sentret, Alex thought when he spotted the furry pokemon on its tail again. While he was walking to this direction, he had seen the pokemon moving about, as if looking for something. Unlike usual happy-going sentret, however, this one was on its feet and not its tail. It looked up intently, its eyes begging for something.... until Alex finally realize what it was. "You looking for food?" he asked. "I am looking for a battle. Want to help me out with a training? I will reward you with some food. Don't worry, this will be quick."He rubbed the furball's head as he spoke. Then, he took a few steps back, Tackzill followed. "Alright Tackzill, help Casilk out by using confusion!" he pointed at the sentret as Tackzill flew from behind him to the battlefield. Confusion: I am actually a butterfly pokemon!~ LOLWHUT?In the meantime, Alex lowered his backpack and placed it by his feet, preparing to satisfy his promise with the sentret.

Vs - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Food! He was going to give it some! Right...? Not until combat had occurred it seemed. Sentret's ears drooped slightly, its carmine eyes taking on a shimmer as it pleadingly gazed at Alex, ignoring Tackzill fluttering out from behind him. Having lost its snack meant it was very hungry, and being in this state of hunger made it very much not want to battle. It remained completely oblivious to Tackzill until the Dustox struck.
The antennae that stuck out from her head had taken on a rainbow-coloured glow, coalescing into a small, blob-like shape. With a mental shove, Tackzill sent a stream of the amassed energy streaking towards Sentret, hitting it directly in the face. A shrill cry escaped the ermine as it skidded backwards, having not been prepared for an attack that came out of the blue.
It was clear Sentret was even more upset, but not depressed sad; its face was contorted in a scowl as it leapt to its tail. Using its strong tail as a spring, Sentret launched itself at the airborne Dustox and raked Tackzill across her abdomen, causing her to flinch. Sentret landed quickly and scampered back, making sure that it wouldn't be attacked on the sly again.

Seeing that Tackzill had knocked some health out of that sentret, Alex proceeded to his plan to train his wurmple.
"Come back, Tackzill," he ordered, and reached into his pockets.
Tackzill flew back from the battlefield, now hover above his head.
"Go, Casilk! Hit it with your Tackle!" the trainer tossed a pokeball.
A purple wurmple came out, crawling on his feet and exhaled deeply. Then, he began energetically crawled toward the fur ball.
