A pokemon breeder seemed to be wandering the path nearby where the fishermen had been resting. Her eyes continued to scan everything as she was looking for something. What was it she was looking for, you wonder? Apparently she was looking for a pokemon that she ran into earlier was injured some how. She didn't get a good enough look at the wound to see what was wrong before it could flee from her from being startled. So she began to look for it. The pokemon was native to the area so it made sense. It wasn't someone who had suddenly decided to abandon their pokemon for no reason, that would have been cruel. It was a green pokemon that she knew of, and it was a grass type as well. She was sure that it was a Bellsprout due to the two leaves on its side. It looked like one of the leaves had been damaged. However she wasn't entirely sure why a Bellsprout would wander out into this area until she spotted a nearby trainer, this looked like the perfect opportunity to battle, the battle might have brought the attention out for the bellsprout to come forward out of its hiding. "Heay you over there fishing with the Spearow! I was wondering if you wanted to battle with me? I was looking for a Bellsprout that was injured but I can't find it anymore. I was thinking that we could bring it out by battling." The breeder asked. "Also my name is Beth. I'm a bit stronger than most trainers you find out here so be warned ahead of time." Beth said as she sent out her first pokemon for the battle. It was a Lombre, sure it was an odd looking pokemon as it stood up on two legs but it was certainly something that you wouldn't want to mess with. Pokemon Breeder Beth sent out (level 18) Lombre! Ooc: I thought of an idea hopefully this will work for you, Tiki.

While Alex continued to stretched, he paused as he heard a shout from behind. He turned around and noticed a female with the typical breeder type garb. He noticed that she seemed to be after a Bellsprout, but then confront him to a battle anyways.
"Oh, you have a Lombre..." he muttered as he looked at the trainer's first Pokemon. He then smiled and added, "I have a Lombre too, but he's not with me now. Scarout, start with an Aerial Ace!"
"Spearrooww!" the brown bird cooed and dove toward the Lombre.

"Grass-Type Pokemon like Lombre are the best," said Beth. "That's why I'm looking for that Bellsprout, so I can use it for breeding the best Grass-Type." Beth watched as Alex's Spearow swooped in for an attack. "Lombre, Fake Out!"As Scarout swooped in for his attack, the Lombre moved its hand to swing at the bird. The bird was too close to turn around and try from a different angle, so he instead dodged the Grass-Type's strike. However, the Lombre had been tricking Scarout. As Scarout moved out of the way of one hand, the other came around and smacked the Spearow aside. The Fake Out had tricked Spearow, and cost him an opportunity to attack. Battle!

"Heh, I am personally looking for a Meganium and a Breloom myself. Lombre or Ludicolo is okay with water resistance... just sort of okay. If we're battling here for too long, would the Bellsprout be out of your search?" Alex the grass type fanatic commented and replied the Pokemon breeder.
"Now, I have a Lombre myself so I did expect that Fake Out. That is a really good move, you know? Spearow, go for another Aerial Ace!" he ordered his bird Pokemon, and the brown bird cooed in reply. Then, suddenly remembering that he haven't introduce himself, he added, "My name is Alex, by the way. I train mostly grass and bug types. Maybe more grass types than bug types, and then followed by other types, like this Spearow here."

The breeder nodded. “Grass types are the best.” She said again. “Probably not. It was wounded. It won’t be able to get very far away from here. It’s probably around here somewhere- me an’ Lombre can find it, easy.” she boasted. “But it is a good idea to train Pokemon whenever you can- a trained Pokemon is a happy Pokemon, a happy Pokemon is a strong Pokemon, a strong Pokemon is a good Pokemon.” “You did?” She smiled. “Any Lombre trainer should expect that move.” Hearing him command his trainer, she commanded her Pokemon: “Use Waterfall!” The Spearow, the faster of the two, launched itself forward , flapping quickly through the air and performing a quick flip before slamming into the Lombre, nearly knocking it off its feet. The Lombre shook its head, before raising its hands and causing water to plummet down, nearly drowning the avian. BATTLE Battle!

"Waterfall, huh?..." Alex murmured to himself as he watched the Lombre used Waterfall on his Pokemon. Thankfully for him, his Spearow would still be the faster one.
"Well, maybe we should speed up this battle if we were to find that Bellsprout. Scarout, use Aerial Ace again!" Alex chuckled, and then laughed. Oh, how rare it was to find someone who likes to train the same type of Pokemon. He then added, "So what is your favorite grass type, Beth?"
After listening to his order, Scarout cooed and flew higher in the sky, readying himself to dive toward the Lombre.

"My favorite...well it's so hard to choose...I have too many favorites. You?" The young woman smiled sweetly, dusting off her apron and tugging the loops of the bow gently to make sure it was secure. Out of the corner of her vision she kept an eye out for Bellsprout.
The breeder had worked hard, and was very proud of her team. So it was hard for her to see her first Pokemon go down. "Lombre!" She knelt down next to the fainted Pokemon before returning him. "You're quite the talented trainer, Alex." She smiled and pulled out another Pokeball. "I can't wait to see what you do next!" A beam of light shot out of the capsule and a group of egg shaped Pokemon formed.
"Exe-Exeggcute!" They bounced up and down, ready to battle.

After the breeder's Lombre was down, Scarout's body began to glow brightly. His body enlarged and basically his entire body changed. His beak was longer, his wings were larger, and he even had a crown now! The brown bird screeched after the evolution was completed.
*LOUD BIRD SCREECH*
"You've evolved..." Alex was stunned. The last evolution he witnessed was his Bulbasaur evolving after fighting with Falkner. Then, getting a Pokeball, he returned his Fearow, "Good Job! You should rest!"
Then, turning his attention back to the current trainer battle, he tossed out another Pokeball. "Go, Rosthrem! Start with an Ember!"
"Combusken!" the two-legged Pokemon howled, greeting the grass/psychic Pokemon. The tone was friendly, as if saying, "Hey there!"

“Congratulations for evolving your Spearow, I’m sure it’ll be much stronger now as a Fearow. Evovling pokemon is always an amazing experience.” The Breeder called out as she saw the evolution from her side of the field. It was a fantastic thing really to watch the pokemon as it changed into a Fearow. The pokemon looked stronger and also fiercer. With its new found power, the Fearow was going to be quiet the opponent. But it looked like Beth was not going to be able to battle the Fearow as Alex sent it back and sent out a new pokemon to take its place, instead it was Rosthrem the fiery Combusken. The egg pokemon seemed to great Rosthrem in return as it heard the Combusken call out. The egg pokemon jumped up on the ground and landed on a soft thud in response. At least a couple of voices could be coming from the egg pokemon since it was obviously more than one. “Exe egg!” It called out in a greeting back towards Rosthrem. But it was too late of a response as Rosthrem was the first one to make a move. Rosthrem inhaled heavily as the pokemon began to feel the fire burning within its throat and belly. It wasn’t long before it couldn’t hold back all the fiery embers from his stomach and prepared to unleash it. Soon the small sparks of flame went straight towards the Exeggcute, which caused it to cry out in pain. For such a small group of embers, they really did hurt as the egg pokemon was scorched, smoke could be seen where the pokemon was trying to put out the flames as it rolled in the dirt. “Ow that looked like it hurt. Exeggcute use Leech Seed to take back some of your health!” She called out towards her grass type pokemon. Now it was the egg pokemon’s chance to attack as it released some tiny seeds and they were sent straight around Combusken’s legs, the seeds soon implanted themselves around Combusken, where the vines soon started to take root around the fiery pokemon to soak up all the health he had. And soon some of the health was sent straight for Exeggcute. Battle

Alex watched intensely as his Combusken dished out some fiery ember on the Exeggcute. While he don't have an Exeggcute himself, he saw no reason to own one. When he saw how fast the Pokemon rolled itself with dirt to cover up the flames though, he was impressed. If it were his grass type Pokemon, they'll probably be burnt.
"From my experience with using grass type Pokemon and this Combusken, usually a leech seed can't recover enough health from a damage this big... Rosthrem, Ember again!" the grass enthusiast commented after the previous round of battle had ended.
Rosthrem nodded cooed and prepared another fire attack to finish the telepathic extra-large seeds.

Alex would soon be proved right in his theory that Exeggcute wouldn't last much longer. Rosthrem repeated its previous maneuver, summoning up flames in its beak before spitting out the several small flares at the egg-like Pokemon. Exeggcute tried to roll away, but the flames hit it head-on. Exeggcute fell back, trying to stay conscious, but soon fainted. "Exeggcute!" Beth cried out as she saw her Pokemon faint. She let out a slight smile, recalling Exeggcute into its Poke Ball. She would treat its injuries later. Alex had won, and she would need to give him his prize, as per the rules. She counted out some money and handed it to Alex. But with the money was another item, a small yellow seed. "You're a Grass-Type Trainer too, so you should find that useful. It's a Miracle Seed. Give it to a Grass-Type, like Lombre, and it'll increase the power of their Grass attacks.""And here's something you should find useful for your Lombre or Ivysaur. It's a TM, Bullet Seed." Beth handed Alex a small disk, which could be easily identified as a Technical Machine. A sound could be heard in the bushes, and Beth turned in the general direction. She assumed it was the Bellsprout that she was originally looking for. With a smile, she turned to Alex before running off into the grass in search of the Bellsprout. "Thanks for the battle. I'm gonna go try and find that Bellsprout from earlier. Good luck with your journey."Battle

Alex's face lit up as he watched his Combusken burning the Exeggcute into victory. He smiled and received the gifts from Breeder Beth. With a Miracle Seed on hand, he could power up a grass type move on one of his Pokemon. He would also have to think about what to do with the bullet seed TM another time.
He looked at the trainer as she ran off and shouted, "Bye! Good Luck with your breeding!"
Exhaling a deep breath, he returned to the Fishing Jetty and cast his Old Rod into the waters again, hoping to fish out something interesting.

The Water Pokemon that swam around the jetty had long since learned not to go there in the middle of the day. This was the prime time when Trainers would go fishing in search of either Pokemon to catch or weak Pokemon to kick around for training. But one such Water-Type had decided not to evade the jetty. Qwilfish was swimming under the jetty in search of food when its eyes were caught by the lure in the water. Chomping down on it, when Alex pulled it out of the water Qwilfish floated to the surface. Its meal had been disturbed, and it apparently wasn't happy. But no sane Pokemon would. It was obviously ready to fight. After lifting up his old rod to reveal a Qwilfish, who had taken the bait this time, Alex was delighted! Seeing the water/poison Pokemon looking at him on the surface of the water, the excited trainer tossed out a Pokeball and readily called out his offense. He would have to weaken this Pokemon before capturing! He shouted and throwing a Pokeball, "Go, Scarout! Use Aerial Ace!"
Out from the Pokeball, the previously evolved Fearow squawked. A big, brown bird with long beak glared at the pufferfish, and flew high to prepare to attack the fish.

Qwilfish nearly piddled itself when it saw the massive Fearow rise out of the Pokeball, wings flapping down gustily. Before it could even react the bird arched and came rushing down, ramming his beak into the spiked fish. "Qwiiiii!" A large gash opened up across its chest, the waters around it darkened...Qwilfish tried to make itself as small as possible as it swam further down to try and escape the fearsome bird. Leaving a trail of red liquid.
Fearow cawed loudly. Was his prey really trying to run away? He tossed his head, feathers rustling, then looked back at his trainer for further instruction.
The balloon Pokemon heard the bird's noise and panicked, not sure what to do next, and wondering if the Fearow would come in the water after it.
