As Ditto got accustomed to it's new form it was all excited to see what moves it could not use. As it had never taken on the form of a Zigzagoon before it had no idea what they could do or what moves they knew and it was quite curious to say the least. Knowing it was on equal footing to Duster filled the transforming blob with happiness as it had fallen in love with it's new look. Ditto thought about staying in that form forever not knowing that as the move was used in battle it could only temporarily transform and after the battle it would morph back into it's usual self. Before Ditto could make a move however the worst possible news reached the transforming Pokemon's ears. It had made a huge mistake in allowing itself to be fooled. As it had transformed into a Zigzagoon it's capture rate went way up making it easier to secure which was not good news. Not only that but it had already taken some damage so it would be even easier to capture. Knowing it had made a huge mistake Ditto tried to turn back into it's usual self but it was too late. The great ball that Tobias threw scored a direct hit on it's face before it disappeared into the ball. The great ball that hit Ditto right in the head shook violently as it tried to break out. Ditto did not want to belong to such an evil man and it tried it's best to escape. Slamming it's body into the sides of the ball it tried to break it but no matter how much Ditto tried the ball would not break open. A few seconds later the great ball stopped shaking and it clicked shut. Ditto had been trapped in the ball and now belonged to the evil man it despised and to make matters worse it had morphed back into it's usual self losing it's shiny body and going back to the ugly pink blob body that it hated so much. Ditto feared what Tobias would do to it as the poor Pokemon knew it was going to be a rough life from now on. Duster fought well and has gained 2 levels. He is now level 23. He also gained +1 happiness. He has +8 overall. Duster is trying to evolve into Linoone. Do you want to stop the evolution? Ditto has been captured. Please complete the code below. Having stocked up on a number of packets of cigarettes, with plenty stashed away in his briefcase, he went instead for his inner jacket pocket, shaking the card box with a fluid motion, causing one of the smokes to pop out of the tray. Sliding this onto his lips, he looked to the side as he placed away the packet and let Prometheus light up the smoke to intake his tobacco fix. In the time it had taken him to alight his smoke, he looked over to the outcome of his capture attempt. Pleased to see the Greatball had seen through with its task, he took a lengthy dreg of his cigarette, letting the smoke settle in his lungs before it came pouring out of his nostrils. Keeping a tight lip, he called for Prometheus' assistance in retrieval of the item. "Prometheus." Letting out a startled acknowledgement, the simian went off with a swing and hurried off into the patch of grass the Ditto had been standing in. As his Pansear carried out his duty, Tobias looked down to Duster and noticed a sudden change in the Pokemon's demeanour.
Leering his eye, he remained tight lipped as he called out with a definite order. "No." Perking up out of his spacing out, Duster let out a surprised growl of confusion. Inhaling more of his smoke, Tobias appeared to have use yet for Duster's smaller frame. "If we're trying to get the drop on our enemies then a change of form isn't for the best right now." Drooping its head slightly, Duster appeared somewhat down but understood. If it got bigger from what he was saying it meant he wouldn't be as quick footed in his escape against would be poachers. It was bad enough dealing with small time wannabes in New Bark Town all that time ago. Returning post haste, Prometheus came back with the Greatball in hand and clambered back up Tobias' shoulder before readily presented the captured Pokemon to him. Grasping the ball, he shrunk it down and with a swift storing away into his briefcase, tightened up his tie as he looked down at his C-Gear. Having returned back to radar mode, the criminal had noticed a sudden blip on the radar which was hurtling at an incredible rate. His mouth ajar and the cigarette falling out, he realised that would be no doubt one of the Ponyta he was tracking.
"We appear to have a new target. North West of here. It seems to have stopped... Move out!" His eye glaring realising it may very well be another Ditto, the group progressed onwards in the direction they had focused on. Passing through a thick series of trees it wasn't long before they came across what appeared to be yet again another Ponyta grazing on a healthy patch of green emerald grass. Slowly approaching and nestling themselves hidden behind a nearby bush, Tobias and company prepared themselves. Peering down at his radar, Tobias realised this time around it appeared to be a Ponyta. His head affixed still to the Ponyta in front of them out in the open, he paid no focus to Duster as he called out his move. "Charge in an ambush it with Headbutt again." Little did Tobias know, this Ditto was merely a whole world better at keeping its charade up.
OOC: Requesting another Ditto and straight up Headbutting it from the get go.
Ditto I just caught is being transferred to Morri's Catherine's box as per trade agreement.

If Tobias knew a thing or two about ponytas, he would soon realized that this one didn't behave normally. Usually they rarely slowed down and only took short breaks to feed in grass or things similar. This one, which they found in the clearing eating in the knee-tall grass, which waved back and forth in the cold wind. The ponyta didn't seem to be bothered at all and didn't notice the group who was sneaking in on it. It was way too busy eating, though it more looked like it was tasting a lot of different things, rather than eating to get full and energi to run again. It sniffed closely to a flower and whined happily as it danced around it, shaking its head in delight. The fiery mane and warm tail kept it warm, so it felt like it was a nice summer afternoon, full of peace and quiet. It made a few bucks before it danced around in its hind legs, looking like every young girls dream horse. It then snatched a mouthfull of clover and pranced around in the clearing, chewing on that. Duster ran more or less unnoticed towards the ponyta, as the grass was taller than he and the wind obscured the movement. It was pure a pure luck (or bad luck, depending on the viewpoint), that the ponyta landed hard on Duster's back, when it landed from yet another prancing. It backed surprised when it realized it had hit something, and it's whole form started to dissolve as it wanted to appologize to the zigzagoon. It paused when Duster disappeared into the grass again, and then pulled its form back together, as it wanted to continue enjoying the freedom as a ponyta. A Pidgeotto flew by and it looked thoughtfully at it, but then Duster slammed into its side with his headbutt, forcing it to bite the dust. It was quick to get back on its feet, spitting the dirt out and glaring annoyed at Duster. A level 17 weird Ponyta accidently hit Duster! Wild Pokemon Battle

Staring intensely at his C-Gear device on his wrist, he examined the scores of battle data that poured endlessly down his screen. Examining it all with a stern, deciphering gaze, he started to become aware of some definite inconsistencies with the data he had recorded against the Ponyta horde he had faced. "This is not adding up." Looking back up at the Ponyta that Duster was now engaging with, he started to let his mind wander and toy with the possibility he was facing yet another mimic. "Given that they had secured a victory the other night, it is no wonder these cowardly blobs are trying to copy their form to scare off would be aggressors." Examining it again, this time with his own eye, it became apparent that this wasn't the real deal. "Curses! Am I really going to be forced to deploy Lateralus out in the open and sync up its capabilities with the C-Gear to track the real Ponyta?" Pondering his conundrum, he was caught off guard when he heard a sudden resounding thud that was sickeningly heard even at the distance he was at. Seemingly prancing about over how joyous it was, it appeared the imposter Ponyta had landed an unknowing hit on his would be ambusher.
Duster tumbling backwards, Tobias stood up out of the bush and made his presence known. At that very point, the suspected Ditto revealed itself as it began returning to its original form but reconstituted its Ponyta duplication as it appeared to be aware it had far better chances in that form. With Duster back onto his feet, the Zigzagoon went hurtling forwards in a zigzag formation before headbutting the Ponyta-Ditto right into the side, causing it to tumble over and pitifully struggle to get back onto its feet as it angrily looked at Duster. "Hmph. Typical. I'm definitely going to have to employ a different strategy in the search of those pests..." Assessing his options for the hunt, Tobias had almost forgot he was in the midst of battle. Turning his head as the Ponyta-Ditto finally returned back upright, Tobias sneered his face up slightly. "Of course. We can't have more duplicates running around when I require the real deal." Deciding on whether or not to capture this Pokemon to mitigate the number of false leads they would run into, he looked down at Duster and informed him to assume a defensive role. "Duster, desist. I'll take things from here." Readily getting an Ultraball out of his briefcase, Tobias wasted no time in priming the device. "By the time i'm through, your kind will be just as rare as the Ponyta are becoming." Throwing the ball forward with some aggression, he would try his chances.

Ooc: Wow you got lucky there was like a 16.5% of capture and you managed to still capture it. That is some really good luck there. As Tobias ordered Duster to stand down Ditto knew that could only mean one thing and that was the evil man planned to capture it. Not liking the evil look of the man Ditto knew it would likely be tortured for some scientific experiments if this man had his way and Ditto was ready to fight to the death to avoid being captured. As Ditto watched Tobias grab and Ultra Ball the normal types heart skipped a beat as it had not seen many of those balls and it was smart enough to know that they were an effective type of Pokeball to use even if Ditto was known for it's resistance to most Pokeballs. As the Ultra Ball flew through the air ditto tried to leap into the air like a wild mustang to avoid the ball but it was not fast enough. The ball struck one of it's hind legs and it disappeared in a bright flash into the Pokeball. As Ditto had somehow become trapped in the form of a Ponyta permanently it was not used to it's body yet but it was still competent enough to know that horses have strong legs and since it had taken the form of a flaming horse it decided to use it's legs to try and escape from the Ultra Ball. Ditto kicked the sides of the ball with it's legs as hard as it could trying to escape. As Ditto managed to rock the ball back and forwards with it's mighty kicks it seemed like it would manage to escape with how good of a fight it was putting up but somehow it just could not seem to pop the ball open no matter how hard it tried. After trying numerous times to kick the ball open it clicked shut trapping the copycat Pokemon inside. Ditto was angry with itself for getting captured but it was even more upset by the fact that it was trapped forever looking like a Ponyta as it was not born as such and would not get used to it's new body for a long time. The deformed Ditto trapped in a Ponyta state has been captured. Please complete the code below. Showing no sign of sympathy or pity, Tobias continued his sterile, cold stare as he watched the Ponyta-Ditto attempt to resist his capture tool, only to be engulfed by it, swallowing the Pokemon whole as it fell to the ground with a clang, sealing the Pokemon inside. Rocking back and forth particularly violently, Tobias leered his eye as he looked down to examine his C-Gear tracking data. With the replicated bio signs of the Ponyta-Ditto now locked away in the Ultraball, it meant that his radar was now completely blank. " Hmph. What exactly are they playing at? Did they flee in fear knowing I would conclude my business with them?" Shaking his head, he began dabbing around at the screen trying to sort out some other matter or another. Whilst he did, Duster trotted forward, a fleeting movement to his steps as he got closer to the rocking Ultraball, giving it a few inquisitive sniffs with his nostrils as he took in the sight of being on the other side of the fence seeing a Pokemon being captured. In the time he had eluded capture back in his days of living in New Bark Town, he had never once seen a Pokemon captured, having always been on the receiving end of would be trainers trying to capture him. Examining it from a different perspective, the Zigzagoon found the entire process an unusual one. With a sudden click, Duster hopped back a pace or two, his fur bushing up as he became startled from the sudden noise sounding off. Noting this capture, Tobias muttered his other Pokemon's name as he continued his engrossed fixation of his device. Clambering off and landing just a space off of where Duster was, the monkey made a curious noise at the mammal before picking up the Ultraball and climbing back up to Tobias, presenting him the Ultraball. Grabbing it, he slotted it away into his briefcase and began feeding back some data analysis on his screen. With two Ditto now under his belt, he had enough information to single out all Ditto copies in the area. It certainly left his radar perfectly blank. " Argh. We'll go the old fashioned way. On foot." Returning Duster to his Pokeball, Tobias made a swift retreat out of the meadow enclose they had found themselves in. Now back onto the decimated Route 34, Tobias found himself sticking to the outer perimeter, the side of the route which hugged along the beach of Goldenrod's shores. Paying no heed to the area around him, he glanced up now and again from his C-Gear to see if he could pick up anything through his own vision. Prometheus however seemed to have spotted something unusual. Off on the pebbly shore, a rather beat up old stick was dug into the ground and seemed to be tugging every now and again. Disappearing off from Tobias' shoulder with a leap, it was rare for the monkey to leave his post. Examining the old, beaten up stick, he noticed a piece of string which appeared to be pulled from within the waves themselves. Drawing up the branch himself, he gave it a few tugs at which point Tobias had realised his Pokemon's disappearance. " Prometheus. When I did authorise you to abandon your duty?" His eye leering, he noticed the make shift fishing rod in his Pansear's hands. " And what exactly is this? We are out here to take revenge, not playing fishing games. Leave that a-" Before he could finish, it seemed Prometheus had given one last tug on the rod and seemed to be landing something. OOC: Thanks March. I decided i'd give my luck a shot. Thankfully i'm a lucky son of a gun. Boxing the Ditto with Tobias. I must admit, I can't stop laughing at the description that's been given.

The waters were calm and still, despite the havoc that had unfolded in the past few hours in the Goldenrod routes. As far as Staryu knew, there was lots of fire, and quite a few loud, bright explosions. Whatever that could be, Staryu didn't envy either side. Whatever emitted such a blast seemed to horrid to deal with, and whatever was on the recieving end was probably sleeping with the fishes. To be fair, Staryu hadn't seen any newcomers to the waters, so perhaps that was merely an expression? Either way, with all the havoc upstairs, Staryu kept to itself in the murky depths. The mud felt good against it's cool, metal hide. Soon, the only thing visible from the mud was it's bright centerpiece. It blinked slowly with each breath the Pokemon took as it relaxed and ignored the world above. Something swished. Swished in front of Staryu. It's 'eye' blinking awake, the small red light illuminated the little piece of food on the end of what it wasn't aware was a hook. With all the chaos upstairs, perhaps under the water was really the place to be? No havoc, free food... This day just got better and better! Unearthing itself from it's muddy bed, Staryu began to swim towards the food. However, as soon as it's metal hide touched the food, it found itself practically magnetized to the hook as it was pulled out of the water. Wait... Staryu's center blinked in confusion as it was beached on the grass. Immediately it was met with a small red Pokemon (Red usually meant fire, so that wasn't an issue) and a tall man in white. The blinks slowly stopped until the center glowed red with understanding. It had been pulled forth from the waters for a battle. Unaware of how to conduct itself, it merely stood in place, waiting for Tobias to take action. Wild Staryu (Level 16) has been beached! Will you Fight or Run?

As his Pansear struggled with the net, Tobias stared with disinterest. He wasn't condoning his Pokemon enjoying himself and frolicking about when they had their business endeavours to be pursuing. Instead, he stared blankly as Prometheus struggled to reign in the decrepit old stick and the bit of string cello-taped to it. "What a waste of time. At the rate you're struggling, the sheer pressure will cause the stick to snap in two. Nothing will come of this." His eye glaring at his Pokemon, Prometheus appeared to be more concerned with reeling in this intriguing unknown. Now literally bending backwards on the heels of his feet as he leaned backwards horizontally trying to use any added weight to bring it back, he made a sudden bulge of his arms and with a surprising forfeit of what he was up against bought up the mystery Pokemon from the watery depths.
Spinning around as it came through the air only to land before Tobias and Prometheus, it appeared to have shocked both trainer and Pokemon. Tobias himself remained with his blank stare but his mouth had opened ajar slightly, clearly recoiling from the idea that such a futile looking twig could actually tempt and land a Pokemon. Prometheus on the other hand was curious to see such an oddly shaped Pokemon. It certainly didn't look like the usual sort of Pokemon it had bumped into. Scurrying back in full retreat as he clambered up Tobias' back and hid behind his shoulder, Tobias rather drolly sighed with a hint of exasperation. "This isn't our target. We set out to hunt down the Ponyta." His eye now falling back to the Staryu, Tobias pondered if such a Pokemon would be of any worth on the black market. "Hmph. Let us profit from this." Retrieving a Pokeball from his briefcase, he tossed it forward to reveal none other than Striker. "OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOho! What do we have here? My, my! Twinkle, twinkle little star... How I wonder how you'll fare!" Pinching his now oversized pincers together threateningly, the Gliscor suspended itself as it floated mid air awaiting a command.
"Quick Attack." Commanded Tobias bluntly.

The Staryu took in it's new surroundings as it landed against the grass, looking through the gem in it's centre as the fiery Pansear shot back to the shoulder of his master. It wasn't often that the Staryu surfaced and when it did, it was only left to realise how much better life under the sea was. The Pokemon, no matter how big or small, would all get on with their lives peacefully. There were a number of predators too but Staryu always looked like a treasure from a shipwreck so was never labelled as food. Instead, it swam around at it's leisure, resting in the mixture of mud and sand peacefully. But as soon as it's tips felt the tickling of grass, it knew danger was close by. Why did it have to be so greedy and fall for the dangling bait? Remaining perfectly still, the Staryu kept it's focus on Tobias, as he did the same to the creature of the sea. Being a man of more fiery tastes, the Staryu may not have tickled his fancy but there was no doubt that something as unusual as this would land a pretty penny on the black market.
Using Prometheus' inquisitive distraction of hooking the Staryu to his advantage, Tobias halted in his mission of laying revenge on the Ponyta to battle the Pansear's catch. Sending forth the ruthless Striker, the large and intimidating Gliscor floated mid air, his clamping claws ready to lay waste to his opponent with little holding back. Just as quickly as Tobias ordered his move, Striker reacted with mind boggling speed. Leaning forward into a swooping motion, he pulled a pincer back as his body glided effortlessly through the air in the blink of an eye. Baring a grin, he gabbed out at the Staryu with all his might, dealing a bit of extra damage on collision and sending the Staryu spiralling backwards in a broken motion. Landing flat on it's back, the gem in the centre of it's body began to flash weakly but with incredible will power, managed to survive. Propping itself back up, the gem continued to flash dimly as it turned to face the floating Gliscor. Aiming it's highest tip, the Staryu released a gush of water which shot through the air and collided with the body of Striker. Although at most, all it did was make him an even slipperier opponent to face.

With the two Pokemon now entangled in battle with one another, Tobias turned his head slightly in the general direction of Prometheus. "There will be consequences for this action later." Turning back to the battle, he watched as his Gliscor went hurtling forwards with break neck speed. He had been so used to Striker's previous, smaller form. But this new evolved appearance certainly boasted a more powerful and intimidating visual to take in. Jabbing at the Staryu and causing it go flying backwards, Tobias remained silent in his reaction to the deft strike. It was only the cackling Gliscor that had bothered to break the silence. "Ohohohohohohoho! My, my, little star. It appears you're nothing more than a little mite to be crushed. There, there, twinkle tinkle." So engrossed in playing down the Staryu's ability as a battler, the Gliscor had left itself wide open. Using its tip to power up one of its moves, a sudden jettison of water gunned forward.
Splattering incessantly over the flying scorpion, it jigged from side to side as it flapped its winged pincers forward trying to brush off the stream of water. "OOo--blu---glugg-STOO---glugglugg---blu---ENOUGH!" Lashing out one of his wings, the Gliscor was finally freed from the Staryu's attack as it had given the move its all. Now absolutely fuming, it was clear Gliscor wanted to go above and beyond the call of duty. Tobias however was not the least bit interested in the Pokemon's petty quarrel. "Striker. Desist." Leering his eyes ruefully at Tobias and his command, the Pokemon followed his order but with a begrudging resentment setting in. "Yes, yes... I'll back off. For now. Just you wait lil' star... SNIP SNIP!" Having already taken out a capture device, Tobias enlarged the capsule and primed it ready for capture. "Efficiency is what we strive for." Tossing it forward, he hoped to bring yet another Pokemon into his stock.

How did Staryu get stuck with such shoddy luck? First, getting hooked. Second, getting pitted up against this ridiculously mad Pokemon. Third? This water Pokemon was cold. All it wanted to do was sit in the mud and ignore the chaos that seemed to plague the land. Staryu's metal hide seemed to shiver in the cold, crisp air. It was Autumn, and it was almost time for a good portion of the waters around here to freeze over. Staryu didn't want to be outside in this, nor did it wantt o be bullied by this Gliscor. The Quick Attack stung, but Staryu's Water Gun retaliation set the Pokemon of in a series of rapid blinks. It was laughing. The Gliscor must have noticed, because it's temper began to skyrocket as it glared over at Staryu with a glare of pure hatred. If the Staryu had a face to betray it's emotions, it would probably be nervous. Thankfully, there was no reason to be. The trainer had called the Gliscor off. Did this mean the battle was over? The Star Pokemon looked to the side by moving it's body, and it started to walk back towards the water under the impression that the fight was over. It's mud hole was waiting! However, Tobias made a sound and threw something. Something that felt like a rock pelted into the back of the Staryu, causing a slight metallic clang. Throwing rocks was immature, Staryu thought, before it was sucked up into the capsule in a bright flash of light. Struggling, the Pokemon realized what had happened. It wasn't a rock, but a Pokeball! Hardly knowing battle mechanics meant that the Pokemon wasn't aware of the differences of the capturing capsules, so it fought it's hardest as it tried to escape. The interior of the ball refused to break. Once more it tried, and the seal stayed shut. A third heave should pop the sphere, surely... The Ball shakes Once! Twice! Thrice! As the Greatball went off and saw to its business, Tobias looked to his C-Gear in the vain hope that something would have finally appeared on his radar. Examining it with a glare, it continued its search only to show no Ponyta in the area. "I am about ready to conclude they'd fled knowing I would get them." Shifting his eyes over to the Greatball, he had noticed it had finally succeeded in its capture. All that was required know was securing the device for the taken. Clearing his throat, he called out and ordered for his usual Pokemon to take care of the errand. "Prometheus." Noticing he felt no scurrying movements down the side of his back or a leap off of his shoulder, he called out once more. "Prometheus." No reply. "Prometheus!" Now beginning to get quite cross with the lack of his commands being acknowledged he began looking around. "Just where the devil has that monkey gone to now...?" Annoyed by the matter, he walked over to where the Greatball was and pocketed it, himself. "Hmph." Placing it away in his stylish briefcase, he clicked it shut and held it by his side as he began looking around again for the mischievous simian. Striker too could be seen looking around for the Pansear but to no avail. "THERE YOU ARE!" Boomed Tobias all of a sudden as he noticed a sudden red creature straining behind a sizeable rock that was littered by the seaside.
Having sneaked off to go and resume fishing with the abandoned old rod he had found from before, it seemed that Prometheus was willing to risk Tobias' wrath in order to give fishing another go. Storming over, Tobias was unaware that this would be a fatal mistake. Having been startled by Tobias' voice, Prometheus had yanked the rod out with an added tugged and caused yet another Pokemon to come flying out. With how much of a blur it was, Tobias was unable to identify it. Striker on the other hand would be all too aware of what it was however. "Oooooooooooooooh! Do my eyes deceive me? Would that happen to be yet ANOTHER Staryu? Perfect. Juuuuuuust perfect. Here I was thinking I wasn't going to get my revenge on that last one." Gliding forwards, Striker followed through with a Quick Attack on his own. From Tobias' perspective, it looked as if Striker had swooped in to protect him from the incoming Staryu that was hurtling towards him with a spin but deep down Striker's reasons for intervening were purely down to its deep seated loathing for the creature. "YOU'RE MINE!!"
OOC: Boxing the Staryu for now. Requesting another Staryu and having Striker Quick Attack right off the bat.

A wild Staryu (Level 18) was hooked! Fishing level increased by 1.0 point. Updated.
As Prometheus snuck off to try his hand at fishing again with the same abandoned Old Rod, it appeared that the monkey had quite the knack for hooking Pokemon. As the bait was thrown, a second Staryu had spotted it under the ocean's waves, looking at it curiously with it's central gem. Swimming around and almost teasing the line, the starfish wasn't entirely sure what it was but it smelt delicious. Pushing forward to try and swipe the food, one of it's points became tangled in the line, giving the Pansear on land a reason to pull. His little arms working over time as this Staryu put up more of a fight, the underwater creature panicked at the feeling of it's body being tugged. Trying to swim away, it could have potentially pulled Prometheus into the water had Tobias not shown up and given the monkey a start. Giving the rod one last pull out of shock, it was enough to tear the Pokemon out from the water's surface, a large splash emerging from the sea.
As the creature flew up into the air, cascading with water, Striker used his observant eyes to pin point the opponent and with a lust for vengeance, swooped in for an attack. Zipping in front of the body of Tobias, Striker was keen to hit the Pokemon mid air whilst it was still confused from being pulled from the water. A vicious grin stretching his face, the Gliscor struck out with a speedy jab, harshly changing the direction the Staryu was moving in to the pebble land below. Crashing onto the beach with a crash, it was then that Tobias was able to make out that the encounter was yet another Staryu. This one having more fight it in than the previous one, the once confused Staryu got up and span to face the flying Gliscor who swerved in the air nearby. Stretching out it's body, the Staryu created star like shapes from it's gem which penetrated forward in the hundreds, striking Striker numerous times. The attack itself looked painful but as it subsided, the Gliscor proved his thick shell was far too hard to damage with a puny move such as that.

Storming over, Tobias came to an immediate halt as he noticed the sudden shock of being reprimanded had given his mischievous troublemaker of a Pansear just enough edge to hook out the Pokemon from the watery depths below. With the old rod creaking as it bent backwards and yanked the creature out, the eye patched male was unsure of what to do. Everything seemed to slow down and he could see every trickle and drop of water flow off the star shaped body. Spinning around dangerously, it was very plain to imagine what would happen had the Pokemon carried on flying like a shuriken into himself. Unable to dodge or react in time, all he could do was grit his teeth and raised his briefcase in front of him, propped up with both of his hands grabbing onto it as a make do shield. However, that would not come to fruition. Waiting for what seemed an eternity, he was surprised to not feel a sudden thud hit against and potentially worse, tear through the shield of his case. Lowering it down, he peered over the top with his eye glaring with a scowl. Having been out and observing matters, it appeared Striker had come to Tobias' rescue.
Swooping in with a quick glide, the Gliscor had thankfully knocked the Staryu off course and with a crashing tumble, they landed into the sand rather ungracefully. Now in the clear, Tobias lowered his briefcase to his side and furrowed his brow as he watched the situation unfold before him still. "Yet another one of these starfish...?! Hmph. If that is the case." Raising his leg up, he placed the briefcase on it and readily opened up the lock, taking out one of his reserve capture devices out in order to get something out of the situation. Priming it, he sealed shut his briefcase and moved in closer with the Greatball ready to be chucked. This would have to wait however as it seemed although Striker had intervened at just the right time, the Staryu wasn't going to take that beating just lying down. As its body unfurled, a number of star like constructs materialised and were sent flying forwards, very much akin to how the Staryu had appeared earlier. As these star shaped bursts of energy littered themselves against his Gliscor, Tobias raised the Greatball and seized his opportunity. "Now!"

It would seem as though Prometheus had a bit of a talent for fishing. Landing a Staryu (which appeared to be reluctant battlers to begin with) not once but twice had only helped Tobias, not hinder. Despite the fact it was a disobeyed order, a good bit of usefulness could come out of it for sure. Besides. This particular Staryu came out fighting, which is something that could be respected by Tobias if he wasn't cowering behind his briefcase. The Gliscor executed it's attack with the speed required to save his trainer, and of course, to fufill his insane bloodlust. The Staryu wasn't about to have any of it, though. It's retaliation was practically unavoidable, and was surely enough to frighten away the newcomers, right? Unfortunately not. The man Staryu had flown towards after being removed from it's pond dug into the shield he'd used previously. A capture device was grabbed before strategically thrown towards the Star shaped Pokemon. Much like it's swift attack, the capsule was practically unavoidable. Despite it's greatest protests, Staryu was sucked into the device without so much as a shake or a spin. From there, the ball began to rock violently as the Staryu put up it's hardest fight. Spinning against the seams didn't work. The ball just jiggled. Water wouldn't short anything out. The ball just jiggled. With a final heave of it's hard body, Staryu attempted to burst forth from the pokeball, but to no avail. The ball shook once, twice and thrice! ... Successful Capture!
