Straightening up his tie as the Staryu was warped and bound against its will in the confines of the Greatball, Tobias was relieved to be back in control of the situation. There was a significant chance the creature would burst forth again but in the eventuality that occurred he had Striker on the case and given his seething hatred for the creatures, he would be defended before anything could happen to him. That and he'd just throw another capture device. Watching as the ball rocketed about more feisty than usual, he shook his head. "Hmph. It is a wonder they struggle so adamantly. What good will come of it?" Not understanding or really wanting to understand why they acted as stubbornly as they did, he instead began to check his radar once more but before he could get fully engrossed, he looked to see where Prometheus was.
Standing suspiciously close to the edge of the waters once more, he held his arms behind his back and was looking around cheekily. "Do not dare." Not specifying exactly what he was forbidden to do, it should be abundantly obvious what he was referring to. Given Tobias was more preoccupied with trying to seek revenge against the Ponyta, he instead looked down at the C-Gear's radar function and scanned it with an engrossed expression. It appeared the radar was picking up some very faint life signs. Unable to locate their exact coordinates, he realised he would have to pack up shop here and go off trying to hone in on the signal. They were definitely the biosigns of a Ponyta. And considering they had caught enough Ditto to differentiate what was real and what was a copy, it meant Tobias could finally follow through with his vendetta.
At least, that was his hopes. As he lowered down his wrist, his face jolted as he noticed Prometheus was at it yet again. "Prometheus! Are you trying to incur my wrath?! Enough is enough. Your indiscretions have bought us profit but are still a step out of line. This is-- Gah!" Although aware of Tobias' outburst this time around, it appeared the cheeky little monkey had finally got the knack of this fishing business and had successfully hooked a Pokemon and was landing it of his own accord. Yanking it out of the oceans, none of the group could tell exactly what it was, blurred and obscured by the unsettled splashes of water. Striker on the other hand was taking no chances. "If I have to strike down one more of these itty bitty stars... Ohohohoho. So help me." Flapping his wings momentarily, he created a sudden glide which he zoomed towards the creature on in order to unleash a Quick Attack.
OOC: Boxing this Staryu, I have plans for that one.
Now requesting a Corphish. Like before, having Striker unleash a Quick Attack right off the bat (He greatly dislikes aquatic beings. ;P)

Prometheus apparently didn't care about Tobias's dilemma or his vendetta. Instead, the little money had cast the line out once more in an attempt to pick up another Pokemon. Hey, at least the Gliscor was here to clean up shop, right? Despite Tobias's warning and in-specificity of it, there were loopholes to get around it. That simply could have meant... 'Do not dare catch another Staryu.' Yeah, one could easily go with that. So, as Prometheus's line was cast with a cheeky grin, something set to it almost immediately. Jolted from the surprise of the hook, and not Tobias's wrath, Prometheus landed the Corphish square on the shore between himself and his trainer. Whoops. Wild Corphish (Level 20) has been beached!Striker took to flight almost immediately, before the creature could even turn and gaze around at it's surroundings. The crab was knocked onto it's back, leg's scuttling in the air in an attempt to grab onto the ground. However, laid back like this, it took a giant claw and a heave to get itself back where it needed to be, with all six feet on the ground. Leering angrily over at the Gliscor, who snipped his claws in an attempt to intimidate the fish, Corphish took a few steps back to look around. There was a little red Pokemon that had apparently fished him out. Was he the trainer? No, the man in white was. Leering at him, Corphish scuttled forward and turned his attention towards Striker. This was the dark fiend that had attacked him before social graces were in order! Welling up it's chest, Corphish let out a steady stream of bubbles that all popped into the chest and face of the assailant. When the stream was finished, Corphish clipped his claws right back at Striker with a smug look. Wild Corphish - Level |20| Health: 35/53 Current Status: *Snip Snip right back'atcha*
Successful Bubble Beam!
Tobias's Striker - Level |27| Health: 60/85 Current Status: *Snip Snip* Successful Quick Attack!

The round itself was a real blur of events. From Striker's perspective, all he can remember was the hate filled urge rising up in him at the thought of yet another star fish monster rising from the depths and causing havoc. Gliding into him with a swift response, the impact felt a whole lot different. The Staryu from before, whilst resilient, were malleable and could easily be torn apart should the maniacal butcher have wished it. This unknown however had a definite hard shell, something which was not the least bit pleasant slamming into. Reeling back from the blow, Striker assessed his foe and leered as he realised it wasn't a Staryu. At this point, he may as well have slung his hook and headed off back to his Pokeball for a bit of relaxation and unwinding. "Tut, tut. And there I was getting all excitable over you being someone else entirely. Tell you what lil' urchin chappie, how about we call it qui-GUHHH?!" His intentions being to call a ceasefire and a truce, Striker was not ready for what would come next. Suddenly bombarded with a beam like stream of exploding bubbles which splattered copious amounts of water over his body, Striker let out a horrified shriek as he panicked, recoiling backwards whilst trying to bat off the bubbles but to no avail as this only led to more dousing.
As the bubblebeam came to a halt, Striker had a new found look of malice filling his eyes. His lunatic madness had taken firm route at this point. "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! WHY YOU LITTLE...! There I was giving you the chance to leave it at that. Let bygones be bygones~ Ohohohoho. That will not do. That will just not do. I'm afraid this town's only big enough for one pincer offensive! SNIP SNIP TO YOU NOT SO GOOD SIR!" Pinching his larger pincers together, it was clear he would happily let rip, however, business needs came first. "Desist, Striker." Hearing the blunt, monotone voice of his trainer, the Gliscor hopped about on the spot like a little gremlin at yet again being denied his chance of revenge once more. And given just how much Tobias wanted to see those Ponyta perish, it was all bit a too hypocritical for this monster's tastes. "Fine! Capture the nippy little blighter! See if I care! Don't think you're getting out of this too easy!" Having already primed and prepared an Ultraball, Tobias tossed it forward. As he did, he had a command ready this time. "PROMETHEUS! Get your mischievous self back where I can see you." Letting out a little whine, the cheeky simian came bounding over and sat back up on his usual perch by Tobias. Three strikes that had been. Even Prometheus knew better than to go a step beyond.

Smug confidence oozed out of the Corphish as it earned it's land-legs by standing pincer-to-pincer with the Gliscor. Relatively proud of itself, Corphish studied the trainer as it attempted to guess what the man would do next. Striker seemed to move on his own when Corphish had been landed, so what kind of man was this fella in white? It wasn't often that Corphish interacted with trainers. To be honest, it wasn't often many trainers dipped a line into the water in an attempt to land something. It was only a minor technicality that the fire monkey had actually done it. It was truly a day of firsts for the aquatic Pokemon of this Goldenrod route. Striker's malice only fueled the Corphish. Wild Pokemon didn't stay wild long if they couldn't read their opponents. While this Gliscor was crazy, it was strong. What it had in brute force it lacked in... stability. As the scorpion seethed, the trainer began making his move, commanding the scorpion to cease it's attack. Although Striker obeyed, the Gliscor continued to seethe. Apparently he didn't like a taste of his own medicine. Let him pitch his little tantrums. Corphish had bigger fish to fry, such as the Ultra - ULTRA? - ball heading it's way. As the trainer let go of the ball, he barked a command as if he'd already written of the wild Corphish. Well, the trainer seemed to be as sure of himself as Striker was of himself. Truly a match made in Pokemon-dom. Either way, Corphish couldn't dodge the ball even if it wanted to, and winced when the capsule bounced off of it's hard shell with a ting. Immediately, Corphish began fighting. It had faced capture devices before, and it could do it again. Vicious attack after attack, Corphish put his pincers to good use, practically slamming them against the side of the ball as the device shook violently. Only when the Corphish was winded did the ball manage to shudder one last time and ease itself still. The ball shakes once, twice and thrice! .... Successful Capture!

Getting absorbed into the Ultraball, Tobias remained as emotionless as ever as he watched the ball tumble down onto the beach flooring and decided he was down here, all so confident the ball itself would work. "Return." He mumbled, retrieving Striker back into the comfort of his ball. With Prometheus now safely on his shoulder, he knew there would be no more fishing antics unfolding. A little uneasy he was going to get a severe beating later, Prometheus let out a morose sigh as he tried his best to keep out of mischief. "That's it. The radar is responding. The Ponyta are drawing ever nearer. At this rate, I won't even have to travel to find them. Hm?" Letting his sleeve fall over his wrist C-Gear, he acknowledged the sound of the capture device working. Dashing over, he quickly picked up the newly acquired Pokemon and stashed it away swiftly into his briefcase. Now was the time for action.
Sadly, not of the kind Tobias longed for. No sooner than had he picked up the Ultraball from the sandy shores, he began receiving some hurried taps from Prometheus who had seemingly observed something. "What is it? This had better not be a ploy to distract me so you can fish up more seafood." Leering at him, Tobias noticed a sudden movement in the peripheral vision of his eye. Quickly adjusting his head to view it, Prometheus began pointing in the very same direction having seen it too. "Hmph. Something is there." Seeing it out of the corner of his eye a few more moments, he eventually stood still and shook his head, his eye closed. "It's playing a game with us." Opening his eye with a glare, he didn't appreciate such folly. "If we're going to return the favour to the Ponyta, I will not allow any outside interference intruding on our mission." Digging through his briefcase once more, he quickly bought out yet another Ultraball. Having achieved his objectives in Azalea, Team Rocket had rewarded him handsomely. To the point he was now splurging on the height of sophisticated design with these improved capture devices. Priming it, he didn't even bother to take aim, instead just tossing it forward. Assuming he would be lucky and having worked out the Pokemon's swift movements were down to its ability to teleport, he hoped for the best.

A wild Abra (Level 18) has appeared!
A particular Pokemon had been watching Tobias when he first stepped foot onto the beach. Originally intrigued by the fishing monkey, it's attention had been turned to the human due to his strangely masked thoughts. Usually able to read the selfish minds of people, the Pokemon was known as an Abra. Using it's powers to play around with it's chosen victims, it had become somewhat annoyed that it wasn't able to read Tobias' mind. It couldn't see if he wanted to be the best trainer there ever was, what to have for dinner that night or even the face of a loved one. This man was mysterious and with it came a pile of questions. Trying to edge it's way closer to listen in on the conversations the man had with his Pokemon, the Abra was caught off guard when it's movement had drawn in some attention. Quickly teleporting out of sight when the Pansear pointed it's way, it reappeared close by behind a tree and sighed to itself. If only it hadn't been so hasty, then the monkey wouldn't have picked up on it's presence.
All of a sudden, the human began to make some movement and out of fear of being found, quickly began to teleport again. This hadn't been it's intention. All it had wanted to do was cause a quick headache or two. But instead, it had stumbled across this secretive individual. Accidentally appearing right in front of Prometheus, the Abra flinched in surprise as it realised it still hadn't been paying attention and because of that, it was about to pay. Being tapped with an Ultraball, the psychic type rattled it's arms and legs about mid air as if trying to break free but was very quickly dragged inside and locked into place.

As the Ultraball left his hand, Tobias sneered as he noticed the psychic type Pokemon actually teleported into the firing line of his throw. Getting but a small glimpse of its appearance, he was at least able to conclude what it was. "An Abra. An unusual Pokemon to find in these parts." Unbeknownst it had tried delving into his mind, Tobias shrugged off the chance encounter as the Ultraball ensnared its target, locking it away without mercy as it was absorbed into the centre of its capsule. Falling to the floor and going back and forth with a wiggle, Tobias was conscious to check up on his C-Gear radar for the blips of the Ponyta he had been tracking. With an amazing turnaround of luck, it appeared one was nearing their location, a ways off but still drawing closer. As the Ultraball sounded off and notified that it had successfully caught the psi Pokemon, Tobias leered at the ball and decided he would get his bell boy to go and play fetch. "Prometheus. Get that and make up for your indiscretions."
Gulping, the Pansear leapt down and scurried off hurriedly to go and retrieve. Coming back moments later, Tobias had already began formulating their ambush. "It appears the herd have split up. I am interested in taking out the three which had dared to stand up to us. I'm not too sure which of the three this one is but we'll make him perish." As Prometheus offered up the captured Pokemon, he placed it away into his briefcase and began moving away from the beach slopes off onto the route itself again. Coming back into the area and noting the pathway now in daylight, he became aware just how much destruction had been wrought upon the lands. Enough for a spot more if this vendetta would be achieved. Moving over to a series of large trees adjacent to the route path, he summoned Lateralus, ready to exact his revenge.
His back pressing up against the wall, he observed the floating virtual Pokemon in front of him. "On my command, you will ambush our target. Uploading co-ordinates." Tapping the touchscreen on his C-Gear, Lateralus' eyes flashed in acknowledgement as the data was upload to his database. Running through the set of commands to fully boot up his Pokemon, Tobias timed it well enough that by the time he was through, the Ponyta would be in firing range. "Lateralus. Boot offensive mode." Making a few whirs and clicks, the Porygon-Z prepared itself. Looking down at the radar, it was so close Tobias could almost taste it. A dish best served cold. "HB inhibitors unlocked. Hyper Beam module, execute. On my mark..." Arriving ever closer, Tobias could hear its hooves faintly in the distance. "Reposition on X axis by 5.0. Hyper Beam... FIRE." Hurtling out from behind the tree, the Porygon-Z began charging up its beam, ready to attack the Ponyta.
OOC: Boxing the Abra for selling and requesting a Ponyta. Having Lateralus use Hyper Beam right off. Agility removed for Signal Beam (Yeah, now all of its moves are beams!)

A wild Ponyta (Level 18) has appeared!
Hooves treading across the grass as daylight began to rise, one of the Ponyta who was previously a part of the onslaught from Tobias had finally stepped back out into the open after a night of rest. One partner dying whilst the other was in critical condition, the Ponyta had taken it in turns to watch over the weak comrade until it was well enough to even walk again. For now, it was this particular Pokemon's turn to observe the surrounding area. Flames flickering gently as it's body moved slowly through the patches of grass that had survived the flurry of Hyper Beams, the Ponyta looked at the destruction around it, wondering if nature would ever be able to heal itself. Keeping it's brown eyes open in hopes of finding any berries that may have missed the blasts, the Ponyta didn't realise just how close danger was.
Tobias had used the custom radar on his C-Gear to track down the three remaining Ponyta and thanks to his patience, had finally found one of them. The others were lurking in the undergrowth a little further down, helping to revive their fatally injured friend but he would most likely get to them later. Instead, he was set on starting his revenge run with this particular Ponyta. Each hoof step growing closer, all until Tobias was ready to emerge and attack. Not even picking up on their presence, as Lateralus emerged from behind the tree, it was more than enough to scare the Ponyta. Neighing at the top of it's lungs, the fiery steed reared back, kicking it's front legs into the air. It recognised this contraption immediately. The Smoking Man had returned! As a group, they were ready to attack back but individually, not so much. Hoping it could flee, the Ponyta turned with great haste on it's hind legs.
As Lateralus locked onto it's target, it's body began to whir as the program booted, all whilst the Ponyta attempted to start it's escape. Flames burning to make it's position even more obvious, the horse could hardly hide anywhere because Tobias and his Porygon-Z had laid waste to just about everything. Beginning to abandon all hope, the Ponyta knew it had no where to go and with a hesitant turn was faced with something horribly familiar. The beam, much powerful than before, shot directly from Lateralus and struck the body of the flaming horse. Spinning into the air upon impact, it's body skidded across the floor. Right before their eyes, the flames of the Ponyta began to dwindle, all until they disappeared in a poof of smoke. That was one down and two more to go.
Congratulations! Tobias has successfully defeated the Ponyta!Lateralus gained 900 experience! Avarice gained 1 level (due to holding Experience Share) and grew to Level 14! Avarice is able to learn the move Metal Claw! Forget a move? Tackle, Leech Seed, Roll out, Curse

Remaining in hiding, Tobias felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up as the powerful beam itself began to build up and generate its unstoppable force. In the rounds before against this herd of Ponyta, he had been very unlucky in that the move had been inaccurate. Having calibrated his Pokemon's accuracy personally in a number of tiring sessions, he pinned everything on the pride of his own handiwork. There would be no more misses. Instead, the Ponyta would receive a taste long overdue. Chimping out at the excitement of seeing Lateralus fire off his trademark beam, it wasn't long before the move itself began to fire off. The ground shaking, the very brightness of the beam blinding, it was hard not to be in awe of the move's incredible strength. Without a doubt, it was Tobias' clear powerhouse move that would break him out of any situation. Whether it be covering an escape or launching an offensive, it meant he was a criminal with an unstoppable trump card up his sleeve. A dangerous person to be around indeed.
As he heard the hooves barely over the sound of the beam, Tobias hoped that the range of the beam would be enough to vanquish his hated enemy. Having been shown up in the fight that they had ganged up on him with, his idea of revenge was to single them out one by one and deal with them accordingly. Eventually coming to an end, the hyper beam subsided, leaving the atmosphere at least bearable to stand and take a look around. Immediately checking his C-Gear, Tobias leered his eye as he noted the Pokemon's biosigns were no longer registering on his radar. Deciding to confirm the destruction first hand, he appeared from behind the tree and began head over, the floating destroyer hovering behind him in pursuit. Noticing the fireless steed lying on the ground, he lifted up his arm, brushed sleeve aside and registered one of his objectives complete. "One down. Two to go." He spoke out in an almost sterile tone of voice. He was doing this for revenge, there was no mistake about it but compared to many others, he didn't appear to be revelling in the act. To him, this was purely business.
"Now we must find the others...Hm?!?!" Almost unable to believe the radar on his C-Gear, Tobias had to reconfigure the radar to ensure what was fast approaching was actually a Ponyta and not a glitch. Looking off in the distance, he could see the fallen Ponyta's comrade nearing closer. "There is no time to waste. Lateralus; return to offensive mode. HB inhibitors unlocked, boot Hyper Beam module. Target: Ponyta." His eye narrowing as he took in the sight of the Pokemon, he wondered just how far the beam would travel. "...Execute! Hyper Beam, FIRE!" Commanding the Pokemon's move, he decided that although doing this for revenge, he could at least gleam a bit more field data from it all. Nothing would be of waste.
OOC: Requesting another Ponyta, firing Hyper Beam with Lateralus straight off. Also replacing Tackle for Metal Claw on Avarice.

A wild Ponyta (Level 16) has appeared!
The sound of the Hyper Beam firing had alerted the remaining two Ponyta who were lying in wait close by. Looking to one another, it was a sound neither of them had wanted to hear for a while. Knowing one of their comrades were out scouting the area, it was left up to one of the two to go and investigate. Cautiously exiting out of their disguised den, one of the flaming horses trotted out into the open, scanning their eyes from left to right as they tried to spot the cause. Hoping it was not the same smoking man from earlier, the sight that finally struck the Ponyta sent shivers right across it's body. Whatever it saw was distant but gave it a great cause for concern. Recognising it as the left overs of it's scouting companion, the second Ponyta neighed loudly, as if to notify the third, hiding one. Needing to decide whether to save itself or remain by the side of the fourth Ponyta that was likely not going to survive altogether, it remained hesitant.
The second Ponyta, however, was much more straight forward, rearing into action as soon as it spotted a white suited male approach the body of the dead Ponyta. Neighing loudly, the flaming Pokemon went charging across the route at top speed, almost as if aiming to take out the trainer himself. It had a decent way to travel but it wasn't going to give up. With a mixture of the sound of thundering hooves as well as beeping from his radar, Tobias was alerted of the approaching Ponyta and with it, sent Lateralus into battle. This time testing just how accurate and far a beam would travel, Tobias was about to find out. Whirring and clicking into place, the Porygon-Z locked onto it's moving target, specifying the distant and amount of pressure, speed and accuracy needed to land the hit successfully. That was all too easy and quick for a creation of Tobias.
Immediately firing, the bright beam rapidly tore through the air, shooting straight at the Ponyta. It came so quickly that the horse was blinded by the blast before it could even attempt to dodge. Lateralus had grown stronger, as did it's beam. Rendered completely useless, all the Ponyta could do was take the hit, it's very life flashing before it's eyes before it's body struck the ground, coldly.
Congratulations! Tobias has successfully defeated the Ponyta!Lateralus gained 800 experience! (2262/2611) Avarice gained 1 level (due to holding Experience Share) and grew to Level 15!

As his Pokemon carried out his order without any sign of emotion in the cold hearted revenge against these Pokemon, Tobias was content that he had crafted the ultimate Pokemon. Built from his unrivalled technical skills and as an extension of himself, Tobias had a lot riding on Lateralus being a success. The build up of Hyper Beam at this point was something to behold. The sheer force and power it presented was enough to thwart most trainers. These Ponyta didn't stand a chance. Letting the beam build up, he decided to enjoy himself by indulging in a cigarette. Having restocked up on his supplies having smoked enough to become a chimney in his trek through ilex and the lengthy route 34, he could at least ward off his withdrawals. Putting it in his mouth, he made sure for Prometheus to quickly light up the cigarette before he turned his head off to the side, keeping his eye shut to avoid being blinded by the overwhelming burst of light upon the scene. He would know if the attack hit or not so for the time being, he had no real interest in trying to view a battle he wouldn't seen barely anything of. As the beam finished off and subsided, he took a lengthy inhale of smoke before dispersing it out of his nostrils, checking up upon the C-Gear radar. As before, there were no signs of a survivor. "Hmph. Given how easily they were despatched, the leader still runs amok."
Pulling out from his spot once more, he examined the body of the Ponyta off on the distance. As opposed to relying on his C-Gear, he placed his hands into the pockets of his trousers and let the cigarette balancing on his lips exude smoke from the tip as he waited. Saying nothing, his eye scanned the horizons around them before he craned his head backwards slightly as if unimpressed. As he did, he spoke out, a condescending tone ringing throughout his words. "Well? We both know this is where this ends. Come on out." His eye glaring, Tobias needed no device to ascertain the Pokemon was nearby in the area. "Already, i've made good on my word that I would return and take out your comrades. All that remains is you." Still no response, Tobias called out hoping to chide him further. "Not so tough now that the fight is bought to you." Hoping for a response, he was unaware just how close the leader of the herd was in the area. Thankfully Lateralus used his sensors and could pick up on the Pokemon's proximity. Preparing a Hyper Beam, it would ensure Tobias' safety.

A wild Ponyta (Level 20) has appeared!
As the beam cleanly took out the second Ponyta with little resistance, the leader remained to be the only one left. Mingling with the bushes despite it's fiery mane burning with anger, it seemed that despite both of it's friends giving it the chance to escape, it chose to stay. The man needed to be stopped, otherwise the destruction of nature, Pokemon and even other people would all be destroyed by this smoking man. Bending it's knees as if preparing to jump, the Ponyta wiled itself up, mentally getting ready to attack head on. But then, Tobias spoke out. Being intelligent enough to understand the human, his words caused the horse to snort slightly out of it's nostrils. Knowing that it would forever be chased down if it didn't stand up for itself here, the Ponyta had a bit more confidence, truly believing that it could last in a fight. Ooh how wrong it was about to be.
Unaware just how much training Tobias had squeezed in from their last meeting, Lateralus was much more stable in both accuracy and power, making life a bit more difficult for the Ponyta. Still, it didn't know better and with a single stomp forward, emerged from the nearby bushes. It's own hazelnut brown eyes staring over to Tobias' own, it was clearly trying to tell him that it wasn't going to be giving up any time soon. Dragging it's hoof across the grass multiple times, it fired up the flames on it's back to burn brighter to match it's undying passion. Neighing into the air with a snort, the Ponyta began to trot out into the open a bit more, until Lateralus reacted. Sensing the final target, the Porygon-Z didn't give the Ponyta a single chance. Booting up the Hyper Beam program, Lateralus locked onto it's opponent and with no holding back, sent it hurtling forward.
Standing it's ground, the Ponyta was ready to take the attack head on. Believing it could surface from the blast virtually unharmed, it seemed that maybe the last battle had left it with a mental injury or two. Feeling the beam engulf it's entire body, the Ponyta didn't feel a single shred of pain as the power behind the Hyper Beam was so suddenly, that it dealt with the horse instantly, making it unable to attack again.
Congratulations! Tobias has successfully defeated the Ponyta!Lateralus gained 1000 experience and grew to Level 30! (429/2791) Avarice gained 1 level (due to holding Experience Share) and grew to Level 16!

Feeling the hairs on the back of his neck stand up again, Tobias was unaware to Lateralus acting of its own accord as it picked up on the proximity of the Ponyta herd leader. His eye narrowing in response to being in the line of danger, he turned with a swift movement, Prometheus barely able to cling on as he looked in the direction his Porygon-Z was facing. Sure enough, there was the infamous Ponyta. This one was no doubt the leader with how cocksure and arrogant it came across to the eye patched male. Glaring, Tobias realised the Ponyta may have had the drop on himself but that meant nothing. " Hmph. You're too late. Just as i've laid waste to your comrades, so too will the same happen for you." Almost done with battle preparations, Tobias could tell the Hyper Beam was almost ready. " Let this be a lesson to not just your kind but the rest of this God forsaken region. I am not to be trifled with. Let us see if you're as tough as you were with the numbers evened." Letting out a puff of smoke from his cigarette, he had almost finished his final dreg of the smoke. Letting it pour out of his nose, he took the butt out of his mouth and deciding to flick it over at the Ponyta, said one final message to the soon to be punished fire horse. " You're through." As the cigarette went tumbling through the air to the Ponyta, it was at that very same moment that Lateralus unleashed his hyper beam, hurtling the beam towards the Pokemon with no sign of remorse or restraint in his attack. Barely able to shield his eye, Tobias was keen to try and observe at least somewhat the destruction of his hated nemesis. As the beam subsided, Tobias lowered his arm and said nothing. Merely taking in the Ponyta's knocked out state, he quietly withdrew yet another cigarette from his packet and let Prometheus light it up with a snap of his fingers. Inhaling a lengthy dreg from the cigarette, he let it pour out just as he spoke out on the matter. " Objective complete." Looking down to his c-gear, he tapped the touch screen a number of times but seemed content that his little vendetta had been sated. " Not only have we re-established the natural order around here but i've almost gained some more crucial test data." His eye coldly staring at the screen, he realised there was still a significant part of the puzzle that needed sorting. " Now all we need is battle data from experienced trainers." Pausing as if deep in contemplation, he looked up over yonder at the horizon at the metropolis of Goldenrod. " And I know just where to gain this." Tucking his sleeve over his c-gear, he began stepping onwards as he recalled his Porygon-Z. A determined stride in his walk, he kept his eyes affixed on the next destination. " Once more unto the city." - Fin -
